Chapter 4: More harm than good

Molly was in the kitchen, trying to think of a way to hide her wrists. She thought maybe she can wear fingerless gloves? It wouldn't make sence at all to wear those in the summer, but Molly didn't have any options. The problem was, there weren't any. She was thinking what to do, when Sharon, Pete and Darryl came down for breakfast.

''Good morning, Molly'' Sharon said.

''G-Good morning, guys...'' Molly nervously said, as she hid her arms behind her back.

Darryl noticed how scared and nervous Molly looked.

''Everything alright, Molly?''

''Y-Yes... Everything is totally normal! I gotta see Hi... I mean Libby! I gotta see Libby today, bye!'' Molly said, as she walked towards the door and left the house, without anyone noticing her veins.

That was a very close call. There is no way she is telling her parents or brother what's going on with her. She can go buy some gloves to cover her veins, then she will have nothing to worry about... But them Molly realized she forgot her money at home.

''Ugh, sweet baby corn! Wait a minute...''

It hit her! She doesn't need money, she can turn into a ghost. She can just drain some energy, turn invisible and steal those gloves. As aways, Molly went to a far pylon, raised her hand and started to drain the electricity from it... This time it was hurting alot...

''Ouch! Ugh... Come on... Come on...''

This time very slowly and painfuly, Molly turned into a ghost. She spended the entire night outside from the continent, and now she was gonna spend the day as a ghost... Pretty much spending more time as a ghost, than as a human.

An old man who lived close to Brighton was out on a hunt in the woods. It was beautiful sunny morning, so there were probably some rabbits or deers. He had a red hat, black polo shirt and a hunting shotgun in his hands.

It was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a hunt! He was walking for around 5 minutes in the woods, when he heared something...

''HEEEEEELP!''

It was the scream of a woman in the distance. The man was confused and worried, so he followed the screams. Maybe someone got hurt, he had to check what was happening.

There were many tall trees. He was following the screams, when he reached a huge meadow... There she was... The woman that was scream.

''Madame, are you-

The man couldn't even finish when he noticed how strange that woman looked. Before she could notice him, he hid behind one of the trees and started to pay a very close attention to her.

''SOMEONE! PLEAAAAAAASE! HELP MEEEEEE! HEEEEEEEELP!''

She had a grey hair. He couldn't see the eyes very clearly, but they looked green or gray. She was also... Twiching. She was just standing at one place, twitching and screaming on top of her lungs... The man realized this woman isn't normal.

There is no way he is getting closer to that psycho, he wanted to leave. He slowly and quietly was stepping back... When his phone rang. His ringtone was a very loud heavy metal song...

''Shoot! Not now, not now!'' The man was wispering, as he closed.

He turned around, just to see if the woman noticed him... She did. She was staring at him with the most dead grey eyes... And had a huge smile on her face, revealing her fangs...

''HEEEEEEELP!''

The woman started to sprint towards the man. He got so scared, he started to run in the opposite direction for his life. If he waste time in trying to load and shoot her, she was probably gonna kill him. He was running and running in the woods... When he tripped and fall.

The woman wasn't here anymore. He had no idea where she went, because just few seconds ago she was chasing him, but now she was just gone. He didn't care, he got up and started to run towards his pickup car... Looks like he ain't hunting today...

Molly was flying around Brighton. She saw the clothing shop, so she could finally get the gloves she is looking for, but she saw the Sam's Diner eatery. Molly didn't even have breakfast today, so she could grab a snack... More like she could steal a snack.

''Meh, no one will notice!''

Molly flew inside. All people were eating and laughing, while she was invisible. She saw a black man eating dozens of donuts, so without him even realizing, she got one and flew outside.

''HA! Fooled!''

It was ironic how she was making it such a big deal when Scratch was stealing, but now she is doing exactly the same. Molly was eating her donut, thinking what else to do.

Or right... The gloves, she has to steal also some gloves. Meh, they can wait. Molly wanted to enjoy few minutes being a ghost. Could she travel to another country? No... It was a day here, her family will be suspicious on why she is missing for so long.

Molly finished her donut... And saw Charlotte. Oh... She turned red from anger, the moment she saw her. Not only she stole Libby from Molly, but she also encouraged her to talk behind Molly's back.

Charlotte was just walking down the road, texting her mom... When the lights around her started to flick... And her phone started to turn off and on.

''Huh?''

Then something electric hit her in the back and she fall, and dropped her phone on the ground. Charlotte was in pain, and very confused from what just happened. She shook her head, grabbed her phone... And saw a text she send to her mom...

Hey, MoMmyyyyy, just to let you know that I'm a dumb lesbo

''WHAT THE HELL?!''

She didn't send this... She didn't type this... Her mom responded. Molly couldn't even saw what the response was, but Charlotte looked very scared, and started to walk back home.

''HAHAHAHAHA! Best humilliation EVER!''

Well, that was a sweet revenge. What else should Molly do? She started to look around to do some enhappifying... And saw the vegetable shop from the night of the festival.

''Oh... Ohohoho... Boy, I sure will enjoy every single second of this...''

Inside, the owner was preparing to open. He just had to get some apples from the backroom and then he can open. He opened the back door, grabbed a box with apples... But when he tried to get out, the door was locked.

''What the?''

He tried to open the door again... Nothing happened. The key for that door was in the office, he couldn't unlock it.

''UGH, SERIOUSLY?!''

''You need to keep your cool, dude...''

The man froze from fear when he heared that demonic voice... That's when a girl started to laugh like a maniac and the light in the room started to flick like crazy.

''WH-WHAT? LET ME OUT!''

The door finally opened and the man jumped outside to the street.

''GHOOOST! THERE IS A GHOST INSIDE MY SHOP!'' The man was crying, while all the people were looking at him confused.

''Ghost?''

''YES! A GHOST! A VERY SCARY GHOST!''

''Haha, looks like someone needs to take his pills!'' A girl laughed at the man.

Molly was watching at how all the people made fun of the poor man. That was even more sweet revenge. She can do more scaring, but she felt how she was getting little tired. Besides, she wanted to see Scratch.

Molly flew back to her home and before she went inside, she became a human again. Molly opened the door, but no one was home. Her parents probably left for work, while Scratch still wasn't home.

''Scratch? Scraaaatch? Seriously? He spended the whole night in the ghost world! UGH, IF YOU DON'T WANNA SEE ME ANYMORE, JUST SAY IT IN MY FACE!''

Molly was so mad. Not only Scratch wasted their special night, but he couldn't even come back home for one little ''good morning''. Pfff, who needs him? Molly had Hikari, she will spend the day with her... Or at least that's what she thought.

Molly felt that hot feeling again. It was so huge and annoying, Molly went to the kitchen and drank a huge cup of water... It didn't work. She turned on the air conditioner... Still didn't work.

She was actually feeling more and more hot. Maybe she needed ice cream? She opened the freezer and took out the huge box of ice cream they were saving... Maybe this will cool her down.

''SCRATCH, PLEASE!''

Lecter was hiding in the bathroom, while Ghost Shark was banging on the door.

''Hahaha! I told you, he likes to eat fish, not some disgusting dog food'' Scratch laughed.

Not only he couldn't prank Scratch, but Lecter was also forced to feed that shark every 30 minutes. This time, he didn't care anymore and just gave him dog food... A huge mistake, because now Sharky didn't want just fish... He wanted to eat Lecter instead.

''Well, time for my break. Hope you and Sharky have some fun time, bye!'' Scratch said, as he flew out of the house.

''WHAT? HEY! TAKE YOUR STUPID SHARK! SCRATCH, DON'T LEAVE HIM HERE!''

Lecter was holding the door, but the shark was starting to break it... Lecter realized he is doomed to become a shark's breakfast...

Molly was on the verge to lose her mind. She ate the whole box of ice cream, she was even feeling little sick from it... But she was still feeling burning hot.

Ice cream, cold drinks, standing in front of the open fridge... Nothing worked.

''UGHHHHHHH, WHYYYYYYY?!''

Molly was about to snap, but then she saw the bag with ice cubes inside the freezer. Without any hesitation, she took the bag and went upstair to the bathroom.

She filled the bathtub with very cold water. So cold, a person can easily get hypothermia. For her, this wasn't enough... She grabbed the bag with ice cubes and poured them in the water.

She didn't even took her clothes off... She just got in, and layed. It was dangerously cold, but she didn't care at all.

''Ahhh... Much better...''

Molly's temperature finally cooled down. The whole scene looked kinda insane, a girl laying in a bath with ice cubes and her clothes on. In the same time, it was also relaxing. So relaxing... A person could easily fall asleep.

After 5 minutes, Molly started to slowly close her eyes. It was in that moment when she realized how tired she actually was. All the all-nighters she pulled finally started to catch up. She closed her eyes... And fall asleep.
