The silence in Foosha Village was broken by a small boy crashing through a door. "GARP, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING" yelled Makino a beautiful barmaid running Partys bar.
"Ah, sorry about the door Makino" Garp replied. The young barmaid shook her head at the antiques of Garp and checked for any injuries on Luffy. You see this occurrence was not uncommon in the bar, Garp would throw Luffy into tourtu-umm training every day to make him a good marine, but Luffy refused to spite his grandpa.
The real reason for Garp's treatment of Luffy was unknown to Makino. The Doughnut-eating Narcolepsy Monster was not an idiot, he would do anything to keep his family safe. "Give some meat to the future marine" shouted the Vice-admiral, Luffy was not dumb enough to refute Grandpa's statement which would lead to losing his food.
'I am sorry luffy but the training I am putting you through is very vital for your survival if that idiot di-' Garp thought was interrupted by Bogard who informed him of the escape of one of the prisoners from his Navy vessel.
"I will be back in a while do not go outside" Garp instructed Luffy not seeing that Luffy had already left after gobbling his food.

"Hey Old Man, what are you doing in my secret hiding place?" shouted Luffy at the stranger. The old man slowly turned towards Luffy and said "The secret place always has some secret this place has no secret so this place is no secret place and without this place being a secret place you cannot call this place a secret place". It took Luffy a few minutes to understand what the old crock was saying.
Steam started coming out of Luffy's head and he shouted, "It is a secret place because my chips packet that Makino gave me is hidden under the white tree".
"Oh, so that's why this packet was buried in the ground" said the old man with mirth showing an empty chips packet to luffy. "I WILL BEAT YOU OLD MAN" shouted luffy while jumping on the chips thief. The next second luffy was tied to the white tree and wondered how he did not even see the old man move.
"Old man you are super-fast like gramps" exclaimed the tied boy. The old man looked shapely at luffy and asked "Is your grandfather Garp" After seeing luffy nod the old man laughed and said, "Your Gramps must be searching for me".
After seeing luffy puzzled look the old man cleared "I am a pirate who just escaped from that old punchy monkey".

"Garp why do you always pull shit like this, he is counting his last days because of cancer, you knew Haruto will escape to finally rest in peace" said Bogard.
Garp after eating some crackers answered laughing "You know that idiot is not that bad he likes crackers how could I throw someone in impeldown who likes to eat crackers?"
Bogard shakes his head and leaves not wanting to agree with Garp that Haruto is not that bad pirate.

"Please, Please, Please, Please, Please tell me about pirate life" cried luffy. "Shut up brat" shouted Haruto after losing his composure for the first time in front of luffy.
Luffy stopped pestering Haruto and watched the sunset with him. Luffy could not contain himself and asked the old person "Did you like being a pirate, did you regret it?". Haruto smiled and said, "No being with my crew was the best thing that happened to me, I did regret some things but being a pirate was not one of them."
Luffy is many things but being subtle is not one of them so he asks "What did you regret old man?". Haruto in turn ask luffy what he wants the most, first luffy thought of answering meat but seeing the aura of Haruto he gulped and thought some more before answering.
"Friends, I want friends most in the world I do not want to be alone." Haruto smiled at Luffy's answer.
Haruto then slowly said, "I was weak when some of my crew needed me the most, I was foolish when my crew was dependent on me because of it I lost some of my crew, my friends, my family".
Then Haruto turned to luffy and said "Kid be strong for not yourself but for people whom you consider precious be intelligent if not in general than in battle. Do not ever have some regret Kid". After saying that Haruto walked towards the sea and did not stop till he was fully submerged into the sea.

Please guys review the fic, it is my first story if you like it then I will continue it but guys review the story.
