Xenozip: I guess it could be done. But only for Black Cat.
DragonForceAsh: Thanks. I might take a break for a little while.
Guestspirit: I have a few ideas on who would be Black Cat. And it would be funny if it were Ruby.
Gamelover41592: Thanks.
Dungeon Wyrm: I haven't seen the film all the way through, but it's a good idea.
AverageReadingEnjoyer: Yeah, it really does take longer than most chapters.
Dxhologram: That I will.
Maximum Rhapsody: I could see them doing that. The three girls will talk about their feelings to Jaune, but in the sequel.
keybladelight: I haven't seen them. Sorry.
Spiral-Voltron-Zero0Q1: Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Fallbridge: Thanks, I appreciate that.
Guest: I am glad you're able to enjoy them.
Reader: I'll try and think of some with those two.
JC: I think I'm fine leaving the Ghostbusters where they are. Haven't seen the film.
Team zephyr: I'll think about it.
SPARTAN-626: I'm glad you enjoyed it. Volume 8 could've been better. Thanks for the support.
Zero: Thanks.
Luckenhaft: I feel like I could do that.
NoXIV: I'm willing to do the Doctor Who ones.
Wearedeadpool: Good suggestion. I'll think about it
The Hand of Fate: I'll try and do more.
Hunter41963801: Sorry, but I'm not covering any films or shows that I haven't seen or finished yet.
Haseo55: Thanks. Finding a new world to show can be tricky from time to time.
FlickeringIdeas: I wouldn't abandon this fic, I would at least try and finish it. I'm glad to hear, I do try to get the reactions right. I think I'm fine on Clone Wars and Cybertron. But I wouldn't mind doing more on Transformers, maybe explore Orion Pax's past.
Hecseferblade: Thanks. I am doing well, it's just that doing these chapters take a lot longer and take more effort. Just need to take a break every now and then.
After at least an hour after the screening ended, View came back into the room. "So how's everyone doing?" View asked, knowing how the last viewing ended on a sad note.
"I think we're doing fine for the moment." Ruby said, still a bit shaken up.
"Well I'm glad that you're all okay." View said. "So I was thinking we could watch-"But Before View could finish his sentence, a portal suddenly appeared above the audience, surprising them by the sudden appearance.
"What is this?" Ironwood questions, taking a defensive stance, unsure of what was happening and if it was bad or not.
"View? What's happening?" Yang asked.
View raised his hand up. "Wait a moment." View said as he floated directly under the portal and looked up at it. "Well, I wasn't expecting this to happen." View said.
Just then, an orb slowly descended out of the portal and landed directly into View's hands, glowing brightly. The portal then disappeared from sight as View held the portal in his hands.
"Uh, View, what was that about?" Sun asked.
If View had a face, he'd be smiling right now. "My friends, you have just witnessed a brand new universe." View said as he held the newly formed orb in his hands, this was white with a crescent moon in the middle of it.
"What, really?" Ruby exclaimed with wide eyes. "Cool!"
"Amazing." Ozpin said as he looked at the orb himself. "I take this as an occasion that's rare?"
"Oh yes," View nodded as he took a look at the orb. "Looks like someone has sent it to me personally. Don't know who though, guess I'll figure it out later."
"Can...Can we see it?" Nora asked.
"Are you sure?" View asked.
"Yeah, it could be fun to see." Coco said.
"I agree." Pyrrha said. "It might be interesting to see how this new world plays out.
"I guess so," View said. "Just give me a moment." View said as he looked towards the orb, his suddenly glowing, after a few seconds, they finally stopped and View turned to the audience. "Yes, yes we can."
"Did you...speed read or something?" Blake asked.
"Something like that." View said as he tossed the orb into the screen.
"This should be good." Yang eagerly said as she took her seat.
"I hope so." Weiss said as she took her seat as well. "After the last viewing, I think something hopeful would help." Weiss said as the screen turned itself on.
Remnant - Vale
It was night time in the city of Vale as a light rain fell onto the streets, with very few people filling the streets. And walking in the empty streets was a woman in her forties with a hood over her head as she hurried herself to get to a location she needed to go to. A location that she had hoped would give her the help she needed.
"Sounds like this woman is in serious trouble." Velvet said.
"Looks like it, Vel." Coco said in agreement.
"What kind of trouble could she be in?" Ruby asked.
"Don't know, Rubes." Yang said. "But maybe someone can help her out."
She stopped as she stood in front of a small apartment building, looking up to see that it was a decent looking place and where she needed to be. She was told that there was a man that could help with her situation. She had limited options to go to for help, this was the only chance she had.
"She sounds like a very desperate woman if she can't turn to the authorities." Ironwood said.
"Can't she go to a huntsman or huntress?" Ruby asked.
"She might not have enough money for one, Ruby." Pyrrha suggested.
"That sucks," Nora said.
Going inside of the building, she made her way up through the upper levels of the building, finally finding the room where she would meet the person that would help her. Standing in front of Room 32, the place she was supposed to meet with the person who would help her. After taking in a deep breath, The Woman knocked on the door and patiently waited for a response.
"Come in." A calm voice on the other side said, slightly causing the woman to slightly jump in response.
The woman took a deep breath as she opened the door and entered the room. The room she entered was a dimly lit room. It was by no means unclean, but it clearly looked like it needed a light bulb change.
"Man, it's like a scene from those crime thrillers me and Neptune watch." Sun said.
"Is that where the two of you got the idea you were "Junior Detectives?" Coco asked.
"Sure it is," Sun said with a grin. "We're pretty good at that if I do say so myself." Sun said with a proud grin.
Coco just smirked. "Sure you are, buddy."
She would see on the other side of the room was a man sitting behind a desk. He was completely hidden by the shadows of the room, but his eyes were seemingly glowing white, that held an air of calm and reasoning to it.
"Hmm, I wonder who this guy is?" Nora wondered.
Weiss gave the pink bomber a deadpan look. "Really Nora? I think by this point we all already know who it is." Weiss said.
"I don't know, he seems...different." Yang said as she tilted her head.
"So in this world, he's a detective?" Saphron asked.
"Cool." Sun said.
"I think he's more in the lines of being a private eye." Ren said.
"He does possess a keen, strategic mind." Ozpin said. "It wouldn't be too far off to imagine him to take a job in that area." Ozpin said, though he was more interested in why his eyes were seemingly glowing.
The man then gestured to the woman to the seat in front of his desk. "Please, take a seat Miss…"
"Mrs. Tilla." The woman said as she slid her hood down, revealing she had Faunus features, namely that of slightly curved antelope-like horns. She then took her seat in front of the Man in the shadows. "I was told by a friend of mine that you could help me?"
"Oh, she's a Faunus." Velvet said.
"Looks like it, Velvet." Blake said as she leaned in, curious to see where this was going.
"I can. Depending on what it is of course. So what can I do for you, Mrs. Tilla?" The Man asked.
Mrs. Tilla looked down for a brief, somber moment before looking back up. "It's…it's my daughter. She's been missing."
"Oh dear." Kali said in sympathy for the mother, knowing what it was like to miss their child.
"How long?" He asked.
"A week now. The woman said. "I tried calling her, but she hasn't been picking up her scroll."
He hummed in thought. "Do you have a picture of her?" He asked.
"Yes. This is her; this is my Anna." The woman said as she showed a picture of a sixteen-year-old girl, smiling at the camera with her mother beside her. "She's studying to become a civil defense lawyer."
Ruby smiled warmly at the picture, they looked really happy, briefly thinking about her own mother for a moment.
The man hummed as he took the picture and examined it. "A noble profession." gave a nod at this.
"That it is." Ghira said in agreement.
"Thank you." The woman briefly smiled. "But recently she's been dating a boy, Cedar Wills. A Hyena Faunus. And since she's been going out with him, she hasn't been doing her studies, she's been skipping classes and was always coming back home late."
Ilia looked up at the mention of the name. She had heard of this man before, and he was absolute scum, if she had it her way, he'd be kicked out of the Fang for his treatment towards the women in the group. She had tried to talk Adam about him before, but he said that he had strength that the Fang needed, even though she didn't agree with it.
"And I've noticed that..." She held herself for a moment before counting. "She's had bruises on her when she comes back. I tried to talk to her about it, but she always says she's either tripped or that it wasn't a big deal. I knew she was lying. I tried to talk to her, but she always brushes me off."
"Bastard." Yang growled. "Treating people like that. Where does he get off like that!?"
"Some people just think that they can do whatever they want." Qrow said.
"The poor girl." Glynda said.
The man hummed in thought. "What do you know about the boy your daughter has been dating?"
"I know that he's involved with the White Fang." The woman said. "And while before I would've thought it was a noble cause to be a part of, it's become...violent. I don't want my only daughter to be caught up in that."
Blake hung her hand down at this. She understood what the mother was feeling about the Fang, and what it's turned into.
"And about a week ago, she told me she was going to a party with some friends. That was a week ago and I haven't heard from her since." The woman said as she started to sob. "I'm-I'm worried that he may have taken her, I don't know what he wants to do with her and I'm scared of what might happen to her."
"I can understand her worries." Tai said.
"We all can." Ozpin said.
"Do you have a picture of this man?" The man asked.
"Yes. Here." The woman said as he handed him a picture of the Hyena Faunus man, looking very intimidating with his snaring grin he had with her daughter standing beside him, looking a little intimidated by him.
"Woah, that is one mean looking guy." Nora said.
"I'll say." Sun said in agreement, already not liking the look of this guy.
"Maybe she tried to see the best in him." Ruby said.
"Sad to say I think it didn't help her on this occasion." Winter said.
The man in the shadows narrowed his eyes at the image, further examining it.
"I just didn't know where else to turn to." The woman said, her voice starting to break. "The police aren't helping, and I don't have the money to pay for a Huntsman. And I heard that you were able to help people. I was hoping...could you please help me? Please? I-I can't lose her."
"The poor woman." Pyrrha said in sympathy.
"I'm wondering how Mr. Arc will be able to find her and deal with the people who've taken Miss. Tilla." Penny pondered.
"Who knows, maybe he's got some kinda special powers or something." Sun said.
"At this point, it wouldn't be a surprise." Weiss said.
The man stopped examining the photograph and looked at the woman's pleading eyes. After a few moments, he carefully placed the picture down and spoke. "I'll do what I can, Mrs Tilla."
"Oh thank you. Thank you." Mrs. Tilla said.
"It's quite alright." The man calmly said. "Do you know where he lives?"
"I do, but the police have already searched his apartment and he hasn't been there. But I've heard that he always goes to a place called Juniors."
"Junior?" Yang said with a surprised look. "He's involved?"
"Looks like it." Coco said.
"I was hoping we wouldn't be seeing him again." Winter said with a frown on her face.
"I'm familiar with that place." The man said. "I'll go over to his place first and then I'll make my way there." The man said.
"Thank you." Mrs Tilla said as she then handed the man her number. "If you find her, please, let me know."
"I will." He said. Now knowing everything he needed, the man in the shadows stood up from his desk. "Don't worry, Mr's Tilla. I'll handle this for you..." He said. "I'll let you know when I find her." He said as he proceeded to exit the room to find the girl and sort all of this out, one way or another.
"Alright! Detective Jaune is on the case!" Nora said with excitement in her tone.
"Hopefully, he'll find something that links Junior to the disappearance of Mrs. Tilla's daughter." Ren said.
"I have no doubt he will." Pyrrha said. "Though I am curious as to why we couldn't see his face."
Junior's
Junior's, a shady nightclub where people go to have a go time, in their own unique way. Junior Xiong, the owner of the club, stood behind the bar as he counted all the money he collected today. Business was going good for the Club Owner as he just finished a recent transaction.
"Great, as if we didn't see enough of him from last time." Coco said, thinking about the last viewing involving the crime boss.
"Hopefully, he'll have something that can help find Anna." Velvet said.
"I don't exactly think that Mr. Xiong is one to be cooperative.
"I'll say." Yang muttered.
Just then, a few of his hired help came up to him, one of them holding up a briefcase. "Good news, boss. We got that money from our recent, uh, business deal." The lead thug grinned as he handed him the briefcase filled with Lien.
"Nice work, boys." Junior said with a smirk as he inspected the Lien. "We're really rolling in the dough now."
"So uh, what about the cops?" The lead thug asked.
"You let me worry about that." Junior said. "The cops ain't gonna do a thing about it. Doubtful anyone else will. Now go get yourselves a drink, on the house for a good job."
Ironwood shook his head at I can't believe criminals like this are getting away who knows how many crimes committed.
"Still, at least they're not as bad as Torchwick was." Qrow pointed out.
"Still, they should at least pay for their crimes," Glynda said.
"Sure thing, boss." The thug said as he and his fellow criminals went over to the other side of the bar to get a victory drink for the night.
But then a sound caught his ears, the sounds of the doors of the establishment slowly opened as a man walked through the doors. But the man himself wasn't clearly an average patron, judging by his appearance. Because the man himself was dressed in a solid white suit with a mask on him with a symbol of a crescent moon on his forehead.
The audience were quite surprised to see Jaune wearing this.
"Huh, I was not expecting that." Tai commented.
"I'll say." Qrow said, taking a sip of his flask.
"What is Jaune wearing?" Terra asked.
"Looks like to be wearing a quite...solid white suit." Ozpin said with a look of curiosity.
"Well, you can't say that it's not professional." Saphron said. "Not sure on the mask though."
"Hmm," Coco hummed as she looked at the man's outfit. "I like it."
Velvet turned to her leader and partner in surprise. "Really?"
Coco nodded. "Yeah, it's simple, but effective. The mask is also a nice touch as well."
"I think it looks neat." Ruby smiled. "Especially the crescent moon on the mask."
"It looks like one of Jaune's comic book heroes." Yang said. "Weird we've seen Jaune being a superhero recently in these viewings." Yang said, thinking back to his Spider-Man and Batman identities.
"Why would he wear this?" Weiss asked.
"I guess it's part of his job." Ren guessed.
Junior was deeply confused by this man. He had met his fair share of odd people that came to his club, and one irritating blonde girl, but none of them was on the level this guy was one. The solid white suit was one thing, but was with that mask? Was he physically deformed or something? Or was it some kind or weird kink he had.
"Rude." Ruby said with a frown.
The Man in white causally scanned the area as he then adjusted his tie before making his way down the stairs.
"Who's this chump in the white suit?" Xiong asked as he watched the man casually walk through his club, gaining the eyes of the patrons as he moved past the, heading towards the bar.
"Don't know, boss. Never seen him before." One of his goons said. "Do you want us to take care of him?"
Junior watched as the man in the white suit made his way to the bar. "Not yet. But keep close. I wanna be ready in case there's gonna be another brawl."
"Another brawl?" Velvet asked.
Yang darted her eyes around the room nervously. Not wanting people to hear what she did last time she was there, especially with her father here.
"You got it, boss." The goon said as he and the other workers left the bar as the man in white finally made it to the bar and took his seat.
Junior glared at the strange man before walking his way towards him. "So then, pal. What brings you here?"
"I just came here for a good time is all." The man said.
Junior raised a brow at this, he could tell by the tone of this guy's voice that he was fairly young. Must be some dumb kid playing dress up, would've made more sense on Halloween, but this? This was a whole level of odd he had yet to understand.
"You and me both." Qrow said. "Though at this point, I shouldn't be surprised."
"You got a name?"
"Knight. Mr Knight." The man politely introduced himself.
"Mr. Knight?" Ironwood questions.
"Must be an alias." Winter said.
"Sounds cool." Nora said with a grin.
Junior couldn't help but scoff at the name. Obvious much? "Well then, Mr. Knight. What can I get you?" Junior asked.
Mr Knight hummed in thought. "I don't suppose I could get a Blueberry Bomb Smoothie?"
Pyrrha, Nora, Ren and Saphron's eyes widen at this. They knew that drink was Jaune's favorite. Ren would always try to replicate it after a training session.
Junior scoffed at the strangers request. "Seriously?"
"Do you...not have that?" Mr Knight asked quizzically.
"Buddy, my bar is the bar that has everything." Junior said rather proudly.
"Except good manners." Yang quietly remarked.
"Well then I guess it wouldn't be a problem then." Mr. Knight calmly said.
Junior looked at the man for a little bit before getting up. "Coming right up," he said as he gathered the items needed for the smoothie. "So what, can't handle your alcohol or something?" Junior asked while proceeding to make the drink.
Mr. Knight shrugged in response. "Not really interested. I prefer drinking a lot more healthier drinks. Keeps me active."
"Yeah, but nothing tastes better than booze." Qrow said as he took a drink from his flask.
"I'm starting to think you drink more booze than water, Qrow." Tai said.
"When water gives you that buzz, then I'll drink more of it." Qrow said.
"Uh huh," Junior hummed as he finished up with the drink and walked over to the white suited man with the drink in hand. "So, you got back from a fancy dress party or something?" Junior asked as he slid Mr. Knight's drink to him.
"Oh no, this casual wear." Mr. Knight said as he lifted up his mask to take a sip of the smoothie. "Hmm, nice."
"And the mask? You disfigured under that thing or something?" Junior asked.
"That is a very rude thing to say to someone." Penny said with a frown.
"Oh no. Nothing like that." Mr. Knight shook his head. "It just helps is all."
"Well, you certainly stand out, that's for sure." Junior commented.
"Yes, I do suppose it is a bit much." Mr. Knight chuckled. "You should see my other suit. It's fairly different and quite...flashier."
"Other suit?" Ruby said.
"I doubt he would have a suit that would be flashier than that." Weiss said.
"You'd be surprised." View said.
"Yeah, I bet." Junior remarked, keeping his eye at the stranger in white. "So you're not here for anything else?"
"Actually, now that you mention it. I am here on a sort of business." Mr Knight said.
"Yeah? What kind?" Junior asked, raising a brow.
"I'm on an investigation." Mr. Knight said. "And I was hoping you would help me." Mr. Knight said as he rummaged through his suit jacket and pulled out a picture. "I was hoping if you knew anything about this girl?"
Junior just turned his head away. "Haven't seen her." Junior said rather despondent.
"Yeah, that looks like someone who's innocent." Yang remarked.
"He clearly knows something about her, maybe something to do with that deal he mentioned earlier." Pyrrha suggested.
"It would help if you would actually look at the picture." Mr. Knight said.
"Look buddy. A lot of people come round here. What makes this girl so special?"
"Maybe I should elaborate." Mr. Knight offered. "Her name is Anna Tilla. An Antelope Faunus. She's studying to become a civil defense lawyer. Quite noble, wouldn't you say?" Mr. Knight asked, only to be met with a scoff. "She's gone missing recently and the last person to see her was her boyfriend. I was hoping that since your establishment knows a lot of things, you would know something about this?"
"Knowing Junior, he likely had a hand in this." Blake said.
"Yeah, guy's scum." Yang said in agreement.
"And how do you know that?" Tai asked with a raised brow.
Yang was nervous. "Uh, just a guess." Yang shrugged.
"What are you a cop?" Junior asked with a raised brow. "Because I doubt they let you dress like that." Junior said with a mocking tone of amusement.
"I think it looks good." Ruby said in defense for her fellow leader and friend.
"Oh no, I'm no cop." Mr. Knight let out a chuckle. "Nor am I a Huntsman. I'm just a concerned citizen."
Junior said as he placed both hands onto the bar and looked Mr. Knight in the eye. "Pal, I don't know anything about any girl. Whatever goes on out there, ain't my concern if some Faunus girl goes missing or not." Junior said. "Now if there's anything else you want, I'll gladly get you it. Otherwise, I got nothing."
Mr. Knight hummed in response to that answer and then looked behind Junior and at the wide selection of drinks behind him.
"Actually, I think I would like a proper drink." Mr. Knight said, changing his posture so that he was sitting up straight.
"Alright," Junior said as he crossed his arms. "What do you want?"
"Give me a bottle of Vacuan ale, please." Mr Knight requested.
Junior looked at Mr. Knight blankly for a second before he shook his head. "Sorry, we're all out of that stuff."
"Well that's totally not suspicious at all." Sun commented, clearly not believing this guy's lie. "That's stuff like the easiest drink to get in Vacuo."
"Yeah, and it's not exactly the stuff is all fancy and that." Qrow said. "So clearly, this guy must've sold a lot of it to someone."
"And I can gather who it may be." Glynda said with a narrow gaze at the screen.
Mr Knight tilted his head at this. "I'm sorry, I thought you said earlier that this was the bar that had everything?" Mr Knight repeated the same words Junior said. "While they're not cheap, they're not exactly hard to get." Mr Knight said, leaning forward slightly as he brought his hands together in a thinking pose. "And I doubt an establishment such as yours would ever be low on such a brand."
"Wow, he really backed him into a corner." Sun said, impressed by Jaune's analytical side.
"Indeed." Ozpin nodded, quite impressed by Jaune's deductive reasoning.
"Well I don't got it!" Junior said rather defensively. "I'm sold out and I ain't got any left okay!?"
"Someone sounds guilty of something." Coco said with a smirk.
"He might have sold the ale to Cedar." Ren guessed.
"It would make sense with the deal he mentioned earlier," Penny said.
"Hmm," Mr. Knight hummed in response. "Oh well then. I suppose I can ask Cedar Willis if he's willing to spare a bottle."
Junior slowly turned his head at Mr. Knight with a look that contained both shock and anger. "What did you just say?" Junior said, his tone becoming hostile.
"Oh, he's got him now." Nora said with a grin.
"Cedar Wills, one of your top customers. The last person seen with Anna Tilla and who has been frequently coming here the last couple of days." Mr. Knight said. "The one who bought more than fifty bottles of Vacuan ale to bring to his fellow White Fang members, according to his notes that I found under the floor of his apartment. The one who just yesterday, bought most of your Vacuan ale according to the same notes. That Cedar Willis."
Noticing him going on about the White Fang member, a couple of Junior's henchmen walked towards Mr. Knight, with dangerous intent in their eyes as they held various weapons in their hands.
"Oh boy," Tai said.
"This isn't gonna end well." Velvet said.
"Yeah, for them." Ruby said with a confident smirk.
Junior glared at Mr. Knight "If you knew all that, what was the point of this?" Junior asked, referring to him acting casual.
"I was hoping that the girl's story would enact some sympathy within you. I guess not." Mr. Knight said as he put his drink aside and pulled his mask back down. "Now I'll ask nicely, where is she?" Mr. Knight asked, his tone becoming far more serious and less friendly than it was before.
"Woah, he sounds pissed." Sun said.
"I can't see this ending well for these guys." Ruby said.
Junior said nothing and looked up to his men and nodded to them, a signal to do what they needed to do.
Mr. Knight sighed. "This could've gone so easy for you." Mr. Knight said, sounding both annoyed and disappointed.
One of the goons walked up to Mr. Knight and put a hand on his shoulder, prompting Mr. Knight to glare at him in the eye. Then in a single second, Mr. Knight grabbed his wrist and tossed him over the bar.
"Impressive." Ironwood complimented.
"Indeed." Winter said, sounding quite impressed by Mr. Knight's movements at that moment. "He appears to be quite skilled after all."
"Nice." Yang grinned at the henchmen being taken out like that.
The goons were shocked by this display, only for Mr. Knight to come up to one of the distracted goons to punch him in the gut and uppercut him, then grabbed him and tossed him into a couple of the goons onto the dance floor.
The patrons of the club saw what was going on and, remembering what the last time happened, quickly booked it out of the club, leaving Mr. Knight and the henchmen the only ones on the dance floor.
"Probably best if they didn't get in the way." Ghira said.
"Right." Qrow said. "Because seeing things the way they're going now, I can see things getting pretty messy."
No longer playing around, The goons pulled out their weapons, ready to use them on the man in white.
Mr. Knight raised a brow of intrigue at this. "Oh, so you do it like this then?" Mr. Knight said, sounding amused. Mr Knight then pulled out two Truncheons Sticks, seemingly out of thin air and got into an attacking stance. "Let's have some fun, then." Mr. Knight said, a smirk grin forming under his mask.
"Oh this is gonna be good." Yang said with an excited grin on her face.
"Where did he get those from?" Weiss asked.
"Who cares! I wanna see him kick their asses!" Nora exclaimed with excitement.
One Henchmen with a sword charged right at Mr. Knight and attempted to slice him, only for the white suited man to block the attempts with his sticks, pushed him away and bashed him around with Truncheons, knocking him out. He then kicked the nearest one coming up to him in the gut and bashed his face in with his Truncheon before kicking him to the ground.
"Very impressive fighting." Tai complemented.
Two thugs tried to rush him at once, using their blades to try and cut him, only for the white suited man to narrowly dodged the attempts and used both sticks to hit them across their faces and pushed them to the ground.
One thug tried to his own large hammer on the man, lifting it up in the air, only for Mr. Knight to toss a projectile at the thug, in the shape of a crescent moon that went into his hand, causing him to yell out in pain as he dropped the hammer to the floor and then dropped to his knees as Mr. Knight walked past him.
"Awesome!" Yang exclaimed, pumping her fist in the air.
"Hell yeah!" Nora said in agreement. "Beat their asses up!"
"Language, Miss Valkyrie!" Glynda reprimanded.
"Sorry." Nora apologized as she sat back down.
Another Henchman pointed a gun at Mr. Knight and fired at him. But he quickly used another crescent dart to deflect the bullet right back into the shoulder of the goon, causing him to yell out in pain as he fell to the ground.
Junior growled in anger at seeing all of his men going down like this. "All of the times for Melanie and Miltia to take the day off!" Junior grunted as he headed for the back room to get something for this situation.
"Who?" Kali asked
"Must be some workers of his." Pyrrha guessed.
Taking care of the last set of thugs around him. Mr. Knight went as quick as lightning, quickly taking down the thugs around him. Either using his Truncheon sticks or crescent darts, the henchmen clearly underestimated this strange man as they were quickly being beaten by him. After a couple of swift moments and skillful maneuvers, Mr. Knight looked around his surroundings and found himself the only one on the dance floor still conscious. "Guess I win." Mr. Knight commented.
"Yeah he did!" Nora exclaimed
"That was a pretty impressive display of skill." Pyrrha said.
Ruby nodded eagerly in agreement. "Yeah, I also really liked those stick things he used, and those moon darts. Maybe he modified them..."
"Easy Ruby." Yang said, not wanting her sister to go all geek mode for his weapons.
He then heard a sound coming behind him. He turned his head to see Junior coming back into the room, holding a massive Bazooka in his arms. "If you think you can just come in here, bet up my guys and expect to walk out of here!? YOU GOT ANOTHER THING-!"
"Nope." Mr. Knight simply said as he tossed a crescent dart right at Junior, hitting him in the head as he dropped the bazooka and dropped onto the bar. Just as a precaution, Mr. Knight threw another dart at Junior's sleeve, keeping him placed at the bar.
"Damn, that quickly." Coco said in shock at Junior being taken down so easily.
"Guess he was all talk." Tai said.
"Looks like it." Winter said. "Not as impressive as he was back in the Spider-Man world."
Letting out a small sigh, Mr Knight walked back over to the bar, where Junior was currently held in place by one of the Crescent Darts. After finishing off his milkshake, he placed it down and looked at Junior. "Now then, let's try this one more time, shall we?" Mr. Knight said. "Where's the girl?"
"I-I don't know!" Junior claimed, only for Mr. Knight to smack his Truncheon stick near Junior's head.
"Don't. Test me. Junior." Mr. Knight warned in an intense tone. "I just got done dealing with your entire staff. You really don't want me to really go mad." Mr. Knight as he smacked the Truncheon near Junior's head again.
"Woah, he sounds mad." Yang said, a little surprised that Jaune would act like that so suddenly.
"He's probably annoyed at fighting all those guys and wants to find the girl." Weiss said.
"Can't blame him." Blake quietly said.
"So long as Mr. Arc doesn't do anything too rash." Glynda said sternly, not wanting to see a version of her student act in a potentially dangerous manner.
"Fine! FINE!" Junior yelled out. "Oakland Apartments." Junior grunted. "That's where he is. Fifth floor. But the place has White Fang goons in it. You won't last long against them."
"Considering how I just dealt with your goons, I'm not too concerned." Mr. Knight said. He then stood up from the bar, tossed some Lien on the counter and proceeded to make his way out of the bar. "Well, this was an exciting experience. I wish a good day to you, Junior."
"Boy, you better pray to whatever god you have that I don't find you!" Junior yelled out to the leaving man.
"Oh trust me...My god isn't like anything you've seen." Mr. Knight said intensely. "Thank you for your hospitality, Junior. You run a very fine establishment." Mr. Knight finished in a polite tone as he exited the club and headed for his final location and hopefully, returned the girl safely.
"Oh, Ominous." Nora said.
"That was a pretty cool line to end on." Sun said.
Ozpin had a look of worry on his face when he heard the tone of Mr. Knight's voice when he referred to his god. His own history involving deities was not a good one.
Oakland Apartments
After getting the information he wanted, Mr Knight headed to where Junior told him the girl would be. Knowing the streets the way he did, he managed to find his way to the apartment building. He was standing right in front of the complex itself, the building he was standing in front of looked condemned, ready to be taken down. But it wasn't going to be the one to be taken down tonight.
"Hopefully, she'll still be there. And that she'll be safe." Pyrrha hoped.
"I just pray that none of them are aware that someone is onto them and haven't moved locations." Penny said.
"Let's hope not." Ren said.
"Yeah, because I wanna see these jerks get what they have coming to them."
"Okay. Time to put an end to this." Mr. Knight quietly declared as he walked up to and knocked on it. After a few seconds, the door cracked a little open to see a glaring man on the other side.
"What do you want?" The man brashly asked.
"I'm here to take Anna Tilla back home where she belongs." Mr. Knight bluntly said. "Stand aside, now."
The man just had a look of disdain on his face. "Look, human, why don't you turn your fancy suit wearing ass around and-"
Suddenly, Mr. Knight slammed the door against the White Fang goon's face a few times, causing him to drop to the floor as Mr. Knight entered through the door and bashed the White Fang goon's face with his Truncheon.
"Damn! That quickly!" Yang exclaimed.
"He did not let up at that moment." Coco said.
"I wouldn't be surprised if that guy woke up with a broken jaw afterwards." Qrow said.
"I wasn't asking." He coldly said as he made his way up the stairs to the first floor of the apartment.
He was met with some resistance in the form of four White Fang goons standing in the hallway, now noticing his presence.
"Who the hell are you supposed to be?" The White Fang asked, only to be met by a bash in the face by Mr. Knight.
"The one you see coming." He said as the three White Fang members went after him.
"That is an awesome line!" Ruby said.
Luckily, Mr. Knight was already a step ahead of them by using his crescent darts on the first guy in charge in front of him, knocking him in the head, running up to him and leaping off of him to hit two guys at once. Once they were dealt with, he made his way to the second floor.
"Man, these guys are just getting their butts handed to them." Sun said.
"I'll say." Ruby said.
"That is some impressive fighting skill." Ren said.
"Hopefully, it'll be enough." Kali said.
"I doubt that'll be the case." Tai said.
The second floor itself was also fairly easy for Mr. Knight, the goons on this floor were clearly either still rookies or just not that skilled in fighting. Mr. Knight simply moved past these grunts when they tried to attack him. But Mr. Knight just used his skills and equipment to quickly take them out as well, making his way to the third floor. That one wasn't as simple as he had to take cover immediately behind an open door as the Fang members in this room were armed and opened fire at the man in white.
"Well, this isn't good." Qrow said.
"And he was doing so well before." Penny said.
Having no other option, Mr. Knight used one of his Truncheon and it proceeded to blast off from the base, firing a line that hit the nearest goon in the face, giving him the distraction he needed to use some Crescent Darts at the remaining gunners, hitting them in the shoulders, foot or even arm, causing them to fall to the ground in pain.
"Ooh!" Sun winced. "That's gotta hurt like hell."
"I bet." Coco slightly winced at the sight.
"Such a cool feature." Ruby smiled at the Truncheons feature, but then frowned. "Shame it had to be shattered when doing that."
Mr. Knight sighed in annoyance at wasting one of his Truncheons like that. "At least I still have one." Mr. Knight said as he headed for the next floor.
Mr. Knight could hear the sounds coming from the upper floors. Clearly they heard the commotion he was making. But that didn't stop him, nothing would. He was now on the Fourth Floor and things were getting a little wild. More and more goons started to fill the hallway, charging at Mr. Knight with various weapons in their hands. Taking a deep breath in, Mr. Knight came charging at them in fold, using his fighting skills, his agility and whatever power he had too him, Mr. Knight , knocking out them out, using his darts, going as quick as humanly possible, though in this state, he was more enhanced than a human can be.
"He's clearly more capable than just a normal human can be." Winter said.
"Must be his aura." Ghira suggested.
"Maybe his semblance is different in this world." Ren theorized.
"Is that even possible?" Weiss said. "We don't even know what Jaune's semblance is in our world."
"Hopefully, he'll learn, I have faith in that he will." Pyrrha said.
"We all do." Nora said with a smile.
"Well whatever it is, let's just hope he'll use whatever he has to save that girl." Blake said.
After what felt like an hour had passed, Mr. Knight had managed to take down everyone in the hallway. "Just one more left." Mr. Knight said to himself as he proceeded to make his way up to the final floor and finally get to where he needed to be. He would find the girl and bring herself once and for the girl to bring her to safety.
Mr. Knight reached the fifth and final floor, the same floor where Anna was supposed to be. But as Mr. Knight looked around the hallway, he found that there were no White Fang members in sight. Could they be hiding in the other rooms waiting to jump him?
"That's not a good sign." Velvet said.
"Yeah, in video games, the last guy is always the hardest one to beat." Ruby said.
"I hardly think that applies here, Miss Rose." Glynda said.
Before that question could be answered, The door at the end of the hallway suddenly slammed open, surprising Mr. Knight as he braced himself for what may come. A tall and brutish looking man with Hyena like ears came out the door with snarling teeth. "WHAT THE HELL IS ALL THAT RACKET GOING ON!?" The man yelled in anger.
"Woah, he looks like a mean bastard." Qrow commented.
"He is." Ilia quietly said with a narrowed glare at the Hyena Faunus. She was actually hoping to see Cedar get what he deserved.
"So, you must be Cedar Willis." Mr. Knight said, finally facing off with the man behind the kidnapping who turned to him in response. "I would say it's a pleasure meeting you, but I'd be lying."
"And who the hell are you supposed to be!?" The Hyena Faunus snarled in anger at this human mocking him.
"Remembering what happened to the last guy who asked that, I don't imagine this ending well for him." Yang commented, thinking back to the Batman world.
"A concerned citizen." Mr Knight answered. "That girl you have hostage in that room of yours? She's going straight back to her mother."
Cedar growled in anger at this. "I knew I should've taken care of that old hag. Would've saved me a lot of trouble"
Ruby glared in anger at that comment the Hyena Faunus made about the girl's mother. Now she really wanted Mr. Knight to take this guy down.
Mr. Knight glared at him for that comment. "You have no right holding her hostage." Mr. Knight said.
"The Fang needs more recruits. And my girl is a perfect candidate for the Fang." Cedar claimed with a grin.
Blake glared at this horrid man, daring to do such horrible things to an innocent girl, not even her choice of whether or not wanted to join, being forced by one of the worst members.
"A girl like her wouldn't last long in the Fang. She hasn't trained as a Huntress. And without training, most likely, she would be killed in battle." Mr. Knight said.
Cedar scoffed. "So what? If she does kicks it, I'll just find another girl to string along and bring in. There's plenty more of where she came from."
"Piece of shit." Yang growled in anger, her eyes turning red.
"Kick his ass!" Nora exclaimed.
Mr. Knight glared at Cedar for his sadistic and uncaring attitude. "Well, you've certainly made this a lot easier for me."
"And made it a lot easier for all of us to watch us see." Yang said.
"What? You think you can beat me? I'm one of the strongest members the Fang has ever had!" Cedar boasted. "You're just some chump in a white suit. Why even wear that thing anyway?"
"Because it's stylish." Coco answered. "Something you know very little of. Plus, it'll look good when he kicks your ass."
"You'll find that I'm a lot more difficult to take on." Mr. Knight said as he pulled out his Truncheon.
"Take him down!" Nora encouraged.
Cedar scoffed in amusement. "Let's see then!" Cedar growled as he lunged towards Mr. Knight, bearing his snarling fangs at the white suited man. Mr. Knight recoiled back away from him as he then landed a punch across Cedar's face, but Cedar looked at him with the same grin, the punch he gave barely did any damage. Cedar then pulled his fist back and punched Mr. Knight, sending him a few feet away from him.
"Damn, that was one hell of a punch!" Tai winced.
"I guess he is durable." Ren said.
"He can use that against him." Glynda said.
Mr. Knight grunted as he quickly got back up from that hit. He saw Cedar lumbering towards him, pulling out a few Crescent Darts, he threw them at Cedar and while few did enter his shoulders, he just let out a snarl before pulling them out of his body, still coming towards Mr. Knight
"How strong is this guy!" Yang exclaimed.
"Strong enough to keep moving after being hit with those things." Weiss said, now starting to get a little worried.
"He's gonna have to step up his game if he's gonna beat him." Qrow said
Mr. Knight attempted to strike him across the face with the Truncheon when he got close enough, landing a few hard hits across his face, even managing to make the White Fang member spit up blood. But Cedar grabbed the Truncheon, pushed Mr. Knight away and snapped it in half.
"Ah no!" Ruby exclaimed in annoyance and frustration.
"Oh, dick move, dude." Sun said.
"Dammit it!" Mr. Knight cursed at his tools being broken. "Those things are a nightmare to replace." Mr. Knight grunted. Not letting it bother him for too long, Mr. Knight went to punch Cedar in the gut a few times, prompting a few grunts of pain coming from the Hyena Faunus until he grabbed Mr. Knight by the head and shoved him against a nearby wall.
"Damn, he's just throwing him around like a rag doll." Sun winced.
"Come on, keep going Jaune." Pyrrha quietly encouraged.
"He's a lot tougher than I had thought before." Ren said.
"He'll beat him. I know he can." Ruby said.
"I...I hope so, Miss Rose." Glynda said as she too was starting to worry for her student.
He pulled him back, only for Cedar to smash him into the ceiling and slammed him onto the floor. "Is this really your best!?" Cedar mocked as he kicked Mr. Knight in the chest, causing him to groan in pain. Cedar then lifted him up, holding him by the throat and tossed him through a wall, throwing the white suited man right into another room. Mr. Knight grunted in pain as he struggled to get up after that.
"Shit!" Yang cursed at the sight of Mr. Knight being tossed into another room so brutally.
"Jaune," Saphron said in concern for her little brother.
Mr. Knight looked up to see Cedar breaking through the rest of the wall and stepping through the room. "That all you got!? Or am I gonna still use you as my new punching bag?!" Cedar growled with a feral grin on his face, stepping through the room as he smashed his fists together.
Mr Knight glared right back at Cedar as he stood up, standing his ground against him as he continued to glare at the Hyena Faunus. Then, he proceeded to remove his suit jacket, dropping it to the floor and rolled up his sleeves. Mr. Knight got into a boxing stance with a determined look under his mask. "Bring it."
"Oh, things are about to go down now!" Nora said with a wide grin on her face.
"Gloves are off now, let's see what you can do, Mr. Knight." Ozpin said as he kept his focus on the screen.
Cedar growled as he charged right towards Mr. Knight to finish him off. But when he came at him with a punch across the face, Mr. Knight simply ducked under him and punched Cedar in his ribs, causing the Hyena Faunus to grunt in pain. He growled as he attempted to swat him away, but Mr. Knight moved swiftly behind him and landed a few hits onto his back.
"Pretty good." Tai said, impressed. "I remember teaching Yang a few moves like that.
"And they were pretty damn effective too." Yang grinned at the sight of Cedar being slowly taken down.
Mr. Knight moved around Cedar dodging and ducking every hit he attempted to make, as when he reached his left side, Mr. Knight landed a few hits on certain points of his shoulder as Cedar growled and kicked him away. He let out a chuckle, the hits not even hurting. "Was that a tickle?" Cedar mocked.
"No." Mr. Knight responded. "That was a nerve bundle in your deltoid. May not hurt, but you're not going to be moving that arm for a while."
"Hmm," Ozpin hummed. "Very effective strategy."
"Woah, he did that by just hitting his shoulder?" Ruby said, surprised that he was able to do that.
"Indeed." Winter said, impressed. "He's managed to hit his vital areas."
"Cool!" Nora said in awe. "I wanna do that too!"
Cedar's eyes widened as he tried to move his left arm, but found himself only able to. More angrier than he had ever been before that a mere human was getting the best of him. He let out a snarling roar of rage as he charged straight at Mr. Knight with blood red rage in his eyes.
Mr. Knight managed to dive out of the way as he avoided a punch that went straight through the wall behind him. But Mr. Knight didn't get a chance to retort as he was suddenly grabbed by the throat by Cedar, lifting him up in the air and slamming him against the wall. Mr. Knight struggled in Cedar's grip as he looked at him with burning rage in his eyes.
"Jaune!" His friends cried out for their friend.
"Come on, don't let up now." Tai said.
"I only need one arm to kill you!" Cedar growled as tighten his grip on Mr. Knight's throat with the full intent to kill him.
Mr. Knight gagged as his eyes darted around the room for something, anything that could help him. He then saw a bat just near Cedar.
"Thank you lady luck," Yang said.
"Now all he needs is a way to get out of his grip." Blake said.
He managed to procure one more Crescent Dart and slashed just above his eye, causing blood to fall on his eyes as he grunted in pain as he let go of Mr. Knight
"Impressive." Winter said.
"Looks like it hurts." Ruby winced.
"I bet it does." Blake muttered, having no sympathy for Cedar.
Now having an ample opportunity, he grabbed a nearby bat and Mr. Knight bashed Cedar across the face with it, causing him to fall down on one knee. Before he could have a chance of getting back up, he was struck again in the face, violently by the whist suited man, causing him to fall on the floor. Mr. Knight didn't let up though, he stood over the large Hyena Faunus and proceeded to beat him in with the bat he had, over and over, blood staining the bat and his suit.
The audience stared at the screen in shock at seeing the brutal beating that Mr. Knight was giving Cedar.
"Man, He's...he's really not letting up." Sun said, sounding a bit worried.
"He's...He's not gonna kill him, is he?" Coco asked, sounding concerned that he might do so.
"Jaune would never do that!" Pyrrha said in defense, though as she continued to look at the screen, she was worried that there was a chance he might.
"This is a different universe." Weiss reminded. "Perhaps maybe in this one..."
After a few more hits, Mr. Knight finally stopped striking him. Once he stopped, he saw that Cedar was still conscious, badly beaten, but still alive. He panted in and out, looking over the beaten form of Cedar with a small feeling of satisfaction. It honestly felt like he wasn't gonna stop, like he was literally an inch away from ending him there and then.
"Thank god he stopped," Glynda said, putting a hand over her chest. "I don't know how I would've handled it if he did kill that man."
"I guess he got carried away a bit." Ruby said, glad that this version of her friend wasn't a killer.
"That's one way of putting it." Qrow said.
Taking in a deep breath, he spoke to Cedar's body. "You still there?" Mr. Knight panted, a form of response was a low sounding groan of pain. "Good. Because I got something to say to you." Mr. Knight said as he kneeled down next to the beaten form of Cedar.
"Let's get something clear here. My goal is to protect the travelers of the night. Meaning I don't let scum like you do whatever they want to innocent people for their own goals." Mr Knight said with barely contained rage in his voice. "I could kill you. I really could." Mr. Knight said as he pressed the bat against Cedar's throat as he gasped for air. "But I'm choosing not to. But make no mistake, you ever do something like this again? And I'll make you pay for it." Mr. Knight threatened as he finally removed his Truncheon and stood up.
"I think he got the message there." Coco said as she and most of the people in the audience felt a bit intimidated by Janue's speech.
Ozpin was very curious about what Jaune said his goal was, protect the travelers of the night. it sounded like something he lived by. But it sounded like they were from someone else, or rather, something else.
"Oh, and to answer your question before, why I'm wearing white? It's simple." Mr. Knight said before bashing Cedar's face in with the bat, finally knocking him out. "I want people to see me coming." Mr. Knight said as he exited the room through the door.
"That...was awesome." Yang said.
"Hell yeah it was!" Nora exclaimed in agreement. "Apart from the whole...baseball thing, it was pretty cool seeing him taking down those guys.
"Now all that's left is to get the girl to safety." Ghira said.
Walking back into the hallway, he grabbed his suit jacket from the floor and put it back on him. Mr. Knight opened the door and entered the room where Anna was. He looked around the room to see her sitting on the corner of the room, her hands tied and gagged with a piece of rope around her mouth.
"She's okay." Kali gasped
"Thank goodness." Glynda said.
Mr. Knight walked over to the corner, kneeled down and carefully undid the rope around her mouth and undid the bindings to her hands.
"Are you okay?" Mr. Knight asked gently.
"I...I think so." Anna said as she checked her wrists. She then looked back up at the man in white. "Um, nice suit."
Mr. Knight smiled under his mask. "Thank you. It looks a lot better without blood on it." Mr. Knight jokes.
"Probably not the best of times to be joking right now." Velvet said.
"He's probably trying to make her feel better, Vel." Coco offered.
Anna then brought herself to ask. "Is...Is he?"
"He's taken care of. He won't hurt you anymore." Mr. Knight assured. "The police will come and take him and the rest of his friends into custody." Mr. Knight said as he stood up, offering his hand to the girl. "Now come on, your mother is missing you right now."
Anna looked up at the man with a hopeful look. Taking a deep breath, she took the white suited man's hand and helped lift her up as they both proceeded to make their way out of the building.
"Good man," Ironwood nodded in respect.
"Now here's hoping that she and mother can move on from this." Ghira said.
Later
After calling Mrs. Tilla to let her know that her daughter was safe and okay, Mr. Knight walked back to his office with Anna beside him.
He eventually reached near the building, looked ahead and saw Mrs. Tilla standing in front of the building, looking back and forth for any sign of her daughter. Then, when she directed her head in their direction, her eyes welled up as tears started to form at the sight of her daughter.
"Anna!" She cried out to her daughter.
"Mom!" Anna cried out in joy as she ran towards her mother and she ran towards her daughter, the two finally reaching each other as they embraced in a hug.
The audience were happy to see the mother and daughter be reunited with each other.
Ruby smiled as she started to form tears of joy for the two as she felt Yang wrap an arm of comfort around her.
Blake herself smiled at the sight, thinking to her own mother and father, she wished she didn't act the way she did when they last saw each other.
While Ilia was loyal to the White Fang, she couldn't deny that she was glad that Anna was returned to her mother. She wanted people to join their cause willingly, not the way Cedar did it.
"Oh my sweet baby!" Mrs. Tilla sobbed as she held onto her daughter tightly. "I'm so glad you're okay!"
"Mom, I'm so sorry I didn't listen to you!" Anna cried into her mother's shoulder. "You were right about him. I-I tried to leave him, but he threatened you if I didn't join the White Fang with him. I'm sorry."
"You're safe now, that's all that matters to me." Mrs. Tilla said with a smile as she rubbed her daughter's check and embraced her once more. Mrs. Tilla looked up at Mr. Knight. "Thank you, for bringing my daughter back to me."
Mr. Knight merely nodded in response. "I'm glad I was able to help." He said sincerely.
"Still doing good for other people," Ren smiled at this version of his friend.
"That's our Jaune for 'ya." Nora grinned.
"Indeed." Pyrrha said in agreement.
Then, a small beeping sound was heard, Mr. Knight checked a watch on his wrist and saw the time. Mr. Knight sighed. "Well, I best be going." He said as he turned around and proceeded to walk.
"He's leaving, just like that?" Yang said.
Qrow shrugged. "I guess so, kiddo."
"I wonder where he's off to, does he even still go to Beacon?" Sun pondered.
"Are you leaving?" Mrs. Tilla asked, prompting Mr. Knight to stop and turn to her.
"Yes. I'm afraid so." Mr. Knight said. "My working hours are up and I have a schedule to keep up. I really can't afford to be late." Mr. Knight explained. "I wish you both well, and Anna?" Mr. Knight said, prompting Anna to look at him.
"Yes?"
"I hope you do well in your studies." Mr. Knight said.
"Thank you." Anna said, smiling at the man in white. "And...Thank you for saving me. I'll never forget what you did for me."
"That was pretty cool of him." Coco grinned.
"Yeah, it was." Velvet said with a smile on her face.
She couldn't tell or not, but she thought she saw a smile forming under his mask. "My pleasure." Mr. Knight said. He turned and proceeded to walk through the streets. "Have a good night." Mr. Knight said as he walked away from the mother and daughter, whistling a tune as they both stood there, still embracing each other, happy to be reunited with their loved ones.
Beacon Academy - The Next Day
Beacon Academy, one of the most well known Academies of training the next generation of Huntsmen and Huntresses. Inside of the cafeteria room, the two Teams RWBY and JNPR were currently engaging in casual conversation with one another, one of which included a telling of a joke by one of the members of Team RWBY.
"Hey look, it's us!" Ruby said in excitement.
"Yes, we see us, them I mean." Weiss said in a calm tone.
"And we still look as good as ever." Yang grinned.
"...And that's when I said, I hardly think so!" Yang finished off her latest pun with a wide grin, only to be met with groans of annoyance from most of the people on the table.
"Ha!" Yang laughed.
"You didn't even hear the full joke." Weiss pointed out.
"I could tell it was a good one." Yang said.
"Ruby, how have you lived with this?" Weiss asked her partner, rubbing her brow.
"A lot of patience." Ruby responded. "But it's still not enough."
"It never will be." Ruby muttered to her onscreen self.
"Ah, You all need to develop a sense of humor." Yang waved her hand off at their comments. She then looked towards Jaune, who didn't look to be paying attention and was drifting off. "And you shouldn't be falling asleep when I'm telling a great joke."
"A natural reaction I wish we all share." Blake muttered as she checked her scroll.
"Ouch, Blake. Ouch." Yang said, putting a hand over her chest in mock hurt.
"I'm sure you'll recover." Blake waved off with a small smirk.
Jaune looked up in response at this. "Oh, sorry, just a bit tired is all." Jaune said, rubbing his head.
"Oh, I can't imagine why." Coco said with a sly grin.
"Who knows, maybe there's a chance that maybe it was not him." Penny said.
"Unlikely." Weiss doubted.
"You did come back pretty late last night." Ren pointed out.
"Yes, I was getting a little worried. You didn't even announce you were going out." Pyrrha said.
"I was just out for a jog, that's all." Jaune said.
"Oh, I bet he was..." Nora said with a knowing smirk.
Nora then spoke up. "I would've come with you, Jaune! If you needed someone to keep you in check, I would gladly give my training expertise to you! With my help, you could even get thunder thighs!" Nora exclaimed.
"Uh, thanks Nora, but I'm fine with the training regime I got right now." Jaune nervously chuckled, thoughts of Nora's previous attempt at a work with him, Ren and Pyrrha entered his head and he did not want to go through that again.
Pyrrha and Ren shuddered when they remembered the training they had to endure from Nora when she trained them into getting "Thunder Thighs".
Team RWBY also shivered at the thought when Nora had to to train them as well into getting "Thunder Thighs"
"I'm glad you're taking the initiative to train and keep yourself fit." Pyrrha smiled at her partner.
"Well, I gotta be if I'm training with you, Pyrrha." Jaune said.
Yang grinned. "Yeah, plus I think Pyrrha would prefer it to have all him hot and sweaty, right Blake?" Yang asked as she nudged her partner, but no response came from the Cat Faunus. "Blake!" Yang spoke up, causing Blake to look up at her.
Pyrrha groaned at Yang's teasing, both from her off and on screen self. But she would prefer it rather than Yang potentially having a crush on her leader.
"Oh, sorry, I was just watching something." Blake apologized.
"What is it?" Ruby asked.
"A news report from last night. Here." Blake said as she showed the group news footage covered by Lisa Lavender reporting the news.
"It looks like Mr. Knight's time last night was reported." Ironwood said.
"It appears so." Ozpin hummed.
"Yesterday night, witnesses say that a man dressed in a white suit and a mask had entered a club belonging to one Junior Xiong, and apparently started a fight with the workers there."
The footage then changed to one of the patrons. "Some guy in a white suit and a mask suddenly came into the place and started beating the hell out of some guys working there. It ain't even the first time something like this happened. Last time, some girl trashed the entire club"
Ruby sent a glance towards Yang, who looked a bit sheepish at this before redirecting her attention back to the footage.
"What's that look meant to mean?" Tai asked, his tone becoming more stricter.
"Um, Nothing." Yang said nervously.
"Later in that same evening, police reported an attempted kidnapping was made by members of the White Fang who had abducted a young girl to force them into their ranks. Statements made by some of the members also included the same details of the person who was at Club Junior. Apparently this man had entered the building and had taken down every single member in the building as well as reuniting the girl with her family."
"Cool!" Ruby said in awe.
"I wouldn't call someone acting without a huntsmen license cool." Weiss said.
"Still pretty cool." Sun said.
"Still, it would be preferable if he had worked with the police." Ironwood said.
"Who knows, maybe that option is still available." Tai said.
"I wouldn't bet on it." Qrow said, taking a drink.
"I think it's cool." Nora grinned. "One guy taking on not only a but a building filled with more guys to fight. That's pretty impressive."
"Did they say who he was?" Pyrrha asked.
Blake shook her head. "No. But, they did get a name. They said his name was...Mr. Knight." Blake read out.
"Mr. Knight?" Yang said with a raised brow. "Sounds like someone from one of Jaune's comic books, no offense Jaune."
Jaune shrugged. "None taken." Jaune said.
"He would like it." Blake chuckled.
"And it's a good name!" Nora said.
"Yeah, though I do think there could be a better one than that." Ruby said as she started to think of potential names for him.
Yang noticed that Blake had a look that was deep in thought. "You okay, Blake."
Blake let out a sigh. "It's just upsetting to hear how far the White Fang has fallen that they had to resort to kidnapping people into the cause." Blake said. "Still, at least the girl was saved before anything bad happened. I'm just curious who this Mr. Knight is. I wonder what made him want to do this." Blake pondered.
"Maybe he wanted to help people. That's a good enough reason." Penny said.
Blake smiled. "Yeah, I guess it is."
"I guess he felt like he wanted to do something good." Jaune spoke up, prompting the cat Faunus to look up at him. "I guess this guy felt that these guys shouldn't do whatever they want to innocent people for their own goals" Jaune said, gaining a few surprised looks from the table, not expecting the blonde goof to be so deep, especially Blake. "Well, whatever the reason, it's a good thing that she's safe now." Jaune said with his signature grin.
The audience was also impressed by his words.
"That's pretty deep of him." Sun said, surprised to see that side of Jaune.
"He can be when he needs to be." Saphron smiled at her little brother.
Blake gave a smile at this. "It is." Blake said as she looked over the image over the blurred, mysterious man. "I just wonder who he is."
Jaune just shrugged. "I guess we'll never know." Jaune said as he took a sip out of a Blueberry Bomb Smoothie, smirking as he enjoyed another taste of his favorite drink as everyone on the table enjoyed their food, none of them ever noticing that for a brief moment, Jaune's eyes glowed white for a single second as he enjoyed his smoothie.
And with that, the screen turned itself off.
"Well that definitely confirms it." Yang said. "He is Mr. Knight!"
"How did he get like this?" Ren pondered. "Must've been a reason."
"Indeed." Ozpin said quietly, thinking over the words Jaune said in this world.
"Well I thought it was great." Yang said with a grin. "It was kickass to see Jaune kick ass. Heh," Yang chuckled to herself a little.
"I'm glad you liked it," View said as he came down from his spot.
"Will there be more of this world?" Glynda asked.
View thought about it. "Maybe. Depends on how things go." View said.
"What does that mean?" Weiss asked.
"Well, things are a bit uncertain as of this moment, but who knows, maybe there'll be more of this world." View said.
"I for one want to see that other suit he mentioned before." Weiss said. "Can't be as flashier as he said."
"No matter what it is, I doubt it's gonna beat the other one." Coco said. "That one had style."
"I guess we'll have to wait and see." View said as he floated back to his podium and let everyone take another break until the next world to show.
Thanks for reading this chapter of Worlds of Arc
I know some of you might be a bit confused on this, not seeing this before. Well, that's because I decided to make an original chapter based around Moon Knight.
I was inspired by the Marvel series, which I thought was really good. But I didn't want to do a chapter based around the series because as I was writing it, it was still ongoing and wanted to do something different that I hope people will like.
I don't know if any other reaction fic has done this before, but I had a lot of fun doing this. I also posted this story as its own one shot story alongside Worlds of Arc in case anyone interested in reading it without the reactions. I might do a full story based on it one day, I guess we'll wait and see.
Anyways,I'll be on break for a little bit. Don't worry, I'll do some advanced writing for future chapters for this story, as well as relaxing while I do so. Thank you for reading this chapter and I will see you in the next one to come, Thanks and see you Around.
