though he was pretty sad mallow had lost but he knew he had to win for her
"Linky!" A familiar voice said
he turned and saw Lily running towards him
"Lily!" Lincoln said before picking her up "look how big you've gotten!"
"I've missed you!" Lily said before noticing loch who was behind Lincoln
"ily!" Loch said
"lochy! You're alive!" Lily said
"yes?" Loch said "loch dead?"
"no buddy." Lincoln said before facing lily "Lisa told you guys that he had a tumour but in reality it was a space virus that fused with him."
"hug!" Loch said before his arms turned into tentacles and began to hug his siblings
"awww hugs are nice." Lily said
"mr.loud?" An attendant said
Lincoln looked over
"yeah?" Lincoln said
"your match is about to start." The attendant said
"ok thanks." Lincoln said "you guys go sit with my friends ok?"
"ok!" Loch and lily said before leaving
"alright let's get this started." Lincoln said
in the arena
"wow folks I am pumped for this next match between the daughter of the the aether foundation head lusamine: Lillie and she is up against the 6 armed legendary trainer Lincoln loud!" Carter said as both trainers stepped up to the field
in the spectator stands
"wow look at all these people." Lana loud said while trying to find their seats
"well it is a sport event." Lynn jr said "kinda."
"you are correct junior." Albert said "the Pokemon league is one of the biggest events in a region and considering this is the alola region's first one there are going to be tons of people here."
"shame bobby and Lincoln's friends couldn't join us." Lori said "they would've done lots of cheering for him."
"on the bright side I'm broadcasting the matches for them." Lisa said
"well he's got a pretty big following already." Mallow said as she approached the louds "heya!"

Luna then noticed that Lily wasn't with them

"oh she's sitting with us Lincoln found her before his match and told her to go set with us." Mallow said "come on I'll take you to her."
they went over but then the louds were tackled by a very excited loch
"HUG!" Loch said
"LOCH!?" The louds exclaimed
"HELLWO!" Loch said "ME STRONG!"
"loch what the heck we thought you were dead!" Lori said
"me ghost?" Loch asked mallow
"no you're still you." Mallow said
"you see family what I thought was a tumour was actually a space virus." Lisa said
"so a tumour." Luan said
"no this virus is fully sentient and is the reason our brother is like how he is now the virus attached itself to his dna and when our parental units cloned him the virus enveloped most of loch's body." Lisa explained
"so he's going to live?" Lynn sr asked
"yes the reason he is here because of our alien obsessed friends." Lisa said
the louds even Lynn sr and Rita agreed that loch should not be let near the gurdles
"Ms Tera teach loch something cool!" Loch said "wanna see?"

loch proceeded to have his chest turn into a mouth which then stole and ate luan's popcorn

"anyway have a seat the battle is about to begin." Ash said

"this battle shall be 1v1." Hala said "the battle will be over when either side is unable to continue!"
"alright bloop show me what you got!" Lincoln said sending out his second oldest
"go snowy!" Lillie said sending out to Lincoln's surprise an alolan ninetails
"well I'll be." Lincoln said "you evolved snowy."
"we both agreed we had to win." Lillie said
"let's dance!" Lincoln said
"battle begin!" Hala said
"alright bloop!" Lincoln said "use aura sphere!"
"snowy use hail!" Lillie said
snowy made it hail causing her snow cloak ability to activate which made aura sphere miss
"now use aurora veil!" Lillie said
snowy put up a rainbow wall
"use ancient power!" Lincoln said
bloop threw a bunch of rocks at snowy but the aurora veil minimized the damage
"snowy let's finish this!" Lillie said before preparing a Z move "The quiet falling of snow from the skies! Crystals of water! Constantly shimmering! Blanketing the world with their frost Z-Power! Together with my fiery spirit, rise up into the vast sky once again!!!"
suddenly a massive ice pillar appeared under snowy
"snowy use sub zero slammer!" Lillie yelled
snowy fired a massive ice beam freezing bloop in an ice crystal before the crystal exploded
had she won
but then for brief moment she saw Lincoln's eyes lose their pupils and had red circles in them before going back to normal
"OH WE ARE NOT DONE YET!" Lincoln yelled before bloop turned its origin forme
"snowy use blizzard!" Lillie yelled
"use shadow force!" Lincoln yelled
bloop vanished before the blizzard could hit before reappearing behind snowy and then proceeded to one shot the ice type with a powerful strike
"ninetails is unable to battle." Hala said "the winner is Lincoln loud."
"And Lincoln moves on to the next round!" Caster said
"you did good snowy." Lillie said before returning her to her pokeball
Lincoln returned bloop to it's pokeball before walking over
Lincoln's eyes lost their pupils and gained the red circles again
"stand proud Lillie. you are strong." Lincoln said in a voice that sounded very different
it sounded more chaotic
suddenly his eyes turned back to normal and he lightly gripped his head
"what was that?" He muttered to himself before walking away

Lincoln left to go train some more avoiding his family because he didn't want to deal with the mess that was his parents at the moment

Lincoln looked at his next match he was up against Jamesio (which was clearly James)
"hmm." Lincoln said "let's see what you got James."
in the spectators stand
"you did good Lillie." Mallow said
"I know I did." Lillie said
she was thinking about what "lincoln" said to her
"Lincoln's match is next!" Lana loud said
in the arena
"this next match is between jamesio and Lincoln loud this battle is going to be incredible!" Caster said
"this battle will be a 1v1 battle the battle will be over when either pokemon can no longer continue!" Hapu said
Lincoln sent out zygarde
James sent out zekrom
Lincoln chuckled for some reason
"battle begin!" Hapu said
"zekrom use dragon claw!" James yelled
"zygarde use thousand arrows!" Lincoln yelled
zekrom dodged the attack and landed the dragon claw
"use Draco meteor!" James yelled
the attack connected...
...and Lincoln's eyes lost their pupils and gained the red circles
"it seems I have underestimated you jamesio." "Lincoln" Said to James using telepathy "forgive me for underestimating you!"
Zygarde turned into its a hundred percent form
"but it ends here." "Lincoln" said with telepathy before his eyes went back to normal
"huh?" Lincoln said before seeing zygarde "Use core enforcer!"
Zygarde fired a massive beam from its chest which knocked out zekrom
"zekrom is unable to battle!" Hapu said "the winner is Lincoln loud!"
"and Lincoln loud moves on to the semi finals!" Caster said
(what's happening to me?) Lincoln thought to himself

Lincoln blacked out a few more times that day before his match with kiawe
but hopefully he wouldn't during the match
"it's the semi final match between Lincoln and kiawe who will come out on top?" Caster asked
"this is the semi final match so I expect you to give it your all." Olivia said "the match is 2v2 the battle will be over when both pokemon on one side are unable to continue."
Lincoln sent out deoxys
kiawe sent out marowak
(sorry kiawe I black out when I get close to losing) Lincoln thought to himself
"use dark pulse!" Lincoln yelled as deoxys transformed into it's attack form and proceeded to one shot marowak
"marowak is unable to battle please send out your next pokemon!" Olivia said
"got turtanator!" Kiawe said sending out the fire/dragon type "use flamethrower!"
"use psycho boost!" Lincoln yelled as deoxys one shot turtanator with the attack
"turtanator is unable to battle!" Olivia said "the winner is Lincoln."
"what a quick battle!" Caster said "it seems like Lincoln wanted to end this quickly!"
in the spectator stands
"something is wrong with Lincoln." Mallow said
"what do you mean?" Lola asked
"he would never try that hard." Mallow said
"well tomorrow I'm gonna battle him and win!" Ash said
"you still have to beat guzma." Z said

the next day
Lincoln and ash were ready to face each other
"welcome to the finals!" Caster said "our first finalist is Lincoln loud! He defeated Lillie in round 1 the jamesio in round 2 and finally kiawe in the semi finals! Our other finalist is ash Ketchum! He defeated fabain round 1, he won against hau in round 2 and finally went up against guzma in the semi finals! This will be a match for the ages!"
"this will be a 3v3match." Professor kukui said "that match will be over when all of the Pokemon on one side are unable to battle."
"hey Lincoln are you ok?" Ash asked "you seemed off yesterday."
"I'm fine I suppose I just needed some sleep." Lincoln said "now let's do this!"
Lincoln sent out zeraora
"he has no idea what's coming up!" Ash said before sending out a massive Pokemon
"and ash's first pick is Melmetal!" Caster said
"Melmetal?" Lincoln said "alright then let's do this!"
in the spectator stands
Z felt a shiver upon seeing melmetal
"go Lincoln! Go ash!" Mallow said
back on the arena
"battle begin!" Professor kukui said
"First move wins the match melmetal!" Ash said as melmetal ran forward
"zeraora use blaze kick!" Lincoln yelled
"use double iron bash!" Ash yelled
melmetal began to spin before throwing a punch which stopped zeraora's blaze kick
then melmetal spun around again before throwing another punch nailing zeraora in the side
"use plasma fists!" Lincoln yelled
"flash cannon!" Ash yelled
both attacks hit each creating a cloud of smoke
then melmetal's fists emerged from the cloud before hitting zeraora knocking it out
"zeraora is unable to battle please send out your next pokemon." Professor kukui said
"you did good bud." Lincoln said "alright let's go!"
Lincoln sent out Wes
"alright then." Wes said while stretching "let's see what you can do."
"double iron bash!" Ash said
"use aura sphere!" Lincoln said
Wes proceeded to blast melmetal point blank in the face knocking it out
"melmetal is unable to battle please send out your next pokemon!" Professor kukui said
"back to back knockouts!" Caster said
"alright lycanroc let's do this!" Ash said before sending out lycanroc
"aura sphere!" Lincoln said
"dodge it and use bite!" Ash said
lycanroc dodged the blast and bit wes
"knock him away with psychic!" Lincoln said
Wes's eyes glowed blue before sending lycanroc flying
"use accelerock!" Ash said
lycanroc rushed forward
"counter it!" Lincoln said
Wes's body released some purple smoke before dodging the attack and kicking lycanroc in the gut
"counter the counter!" Ash yelled
"say what!?" Lincoln said
lycanroc glowed with energy before hitting wes with the counter
both fell over and were unable to continue
"mewtwo and lycanroc are unable to battle!" Professor kukui said
back in the stands
"what a good move!" Mallow said
"countering a counter." Z said "well played bro."
back in the arena
"Marshadow let's finish this!" Lincoln said sending out his starter
"Pikachu let's win this!" Ash said as pikachu went forward
"(I've always wanted to see who would win.)" Marshadow said
"(yeah let's end this!)" pikachu said
"hey ash z move against Z move?" Lincoln asked
"yeah! Let's do it!" Ash said
then his electric type Z crystal began to glow
ash took of his hat and put it on pikachu
both got ready to use their z moves
"much bigger than a thunderbolt!" Ash said "ten million volt thunderbolt!"
"alright Marshadow let's show them everything we got!" Lincoln said
"yeah this is much much bigger at super full power!" Ash said
"Marshadow it's time to use-" Lincoln began
"10 000 000 VOLT THUNDERBOLT NOWWW!"
"SEVEN STAR SOUL STEALING STRIKE!"
pikachu fired off multiple colour bolts of electricity ash Marshadow jumped in the air
Marshadow went through the bolts taking tons of damage but managed to hit their target
"(this is over.)" Marshadow said holding pikachu's soul about to put back
but then...
the soul sparked and released a huge amount of electricity shocking Marshadow before flying back into pikachu's body
pikachu was still standing
marshadow on the other hand was not
"marshadow is unable to battle!" Professor kukui said "the winner is ash!"
"our new and first champion is ash Ketchum!" Caster said
Lincoln fell on his butt before laughing
"well then you win ash." Lincoln said "that was a great battle!"
"we did it... we did it!!!" Ash yelled
in the spectator stands
"ash won!" Rotom said
"that's my boy!" Delia said
"aw man Lincoln lost?" Lola asked
"he did his best." Lori said
Rita and Lynn sr were considering use this to try and get Lincoln home
but then they saw how well Lincoln was handling the loss
(maybe we were wrong.) they thought to themselves
later that evening
ash was receiving his trophy from the masked royal
"congratulations." The masked royal said "tomorrow you will face me."
"I can't wait!" Ash said
suddenly a voice came over an intercom
"people of the alola region!" The voice said "This region now belongs to team rocket! If wish to live surrender!"
Lincoln and the others looked up and saw an fleet of blimps with a giant "R" on them
but then they saw something else
a shadow mewtwo with them
and few other shadow pokemon
oh shit is about to go down
sorry Lincoln I can't take ash's win away from him
