He was in darkness. Then two figures appeared before him in the distance. The dark blue one had his back to him. The other figure was in green, whose dark red eyes glared into his soul. He heard parts of a conversation, an argument. But he couldn't pay attention. He couldn't look away from the red eyes. They wanted to kill him.

"JASON!" Levi's voice exploded into his consciousness. Along with a painful ringing. The figures from earlier were gone, replaced by a dull brightness.

"Can you…" He couldn't hear the rest of what he was saying. He couldn't see really well either. A blurry brightness surrounded him, no doubt the cave they were in, but Jason couldn't quite make out its edges. His mouth tasted like Leo's workshop.

What is Pluto's name just happened?

Despite his five senses being all out of whack, his brain was somehow still functioning. The last thing he remembered was the blonde haired lady about to shoot Ms. Hange. He got in between them… and then what?

A brown figure approached him and raised him to his feet. While small, the figure carried his weight.

"Le…vi…?" Jason could barely get the syllables out.

"Good– awake–" Levi's voice came in pieces.

What happened? He thought to himself. Was Ms. Hange safe? Even if he wanted to ask he couldn't. His throat felt like sandpaper.

What happened? He tried to think.

He had been flying through the cave. He got in between the blonde haired woman and her target. She was too far for him to battle her in close combat. He was so desperate. And then… lightning. More lightning than he could ever imagine. Where did all that energy come from?

The last thing he remembered was the blackout. The cave had lost its luminosity the moment the lightning struck him.

Still being dragged by Levi, Jason decided to close his eyes. He needed to focus on his surroundings. Maybe if I try feeling its energy…? Another power the demigod had seemed to cultivate in this world was sensing lightning. Or maybe it was energy? He had sensed something similar when Reiner and Berthold first turned into titans on Wall Rose.

The first thing he felt of course was his own energy. Having been greatly diminished since his arrival to this world of the walls, he hadn't bothered with it that much. The lightning was only useful in emergency situations. Like with the Female Titan… or Nifa.

He changed his senses to focus on his surroundings. Juno's feathers! The entire cave was lit up like a Christmas tree. No more like a power plant! It's no wonder these caves illuminate. They are filled with kilowatts of energy. But how could this be?

Jason felt like he was being put down. Opening his eyes, he felt his sight returning, but the cave was still blurry. Brown hair entered his plain of view. Sasha was reaching into her knapsack for something.

"How are we supposed to get past this?" Jason heard Jean in the distance. He looked to the source. His vision less blurry, Jason saw what was impeding the group's path. A metal net the size of a two story house was in between them and the exit to the crystylized tunnel they were currently in.

"Jason, eat this." Before Jason could turn back around, Sasha stuffed a sponge-like substance into his mouth. He almost choked on the confectionery as he swallowed it whole. The metallic taste in his mouth slowly began to fade.

"We don't have any more explosives." Jason heard Levi say, "And Hange is injured…"

Despite his earlier exhaustion, many thoughts entered the demigod's mind. How titan's powers work, why his power exploded the crystal earlier, and how he could help in the group's current predicament.

He popped up, his sight and sound returning to him at an astounding rate. Adrenaline entered his system. "Levi! I have a plan!"
