The next morning Adrien had sprung out of bed. He was excited to greet his new roommate Carrie. He ran upstairs to press the scan pad causing the bookshelf to open. He could already see that Carrie was awake packing her books to get ready for school. While she was in the middle of packing, she felt as though someone was already behind her! She turned around. She was spooked but once she saw Adrien she was mad!
"Adrien you scared me!", said Carrie.
She sounded startled by the sound and her tone of voice, Adrien let out a laugh in response. Adrien then smiled at her.
"Ready for school today?" , he asked her.
Carrie was silent for a few minutes. She relaxed and then, all of a sudden, began to smile at him in response.
"Yup." ,she said
She put on her backpack. Adrien smiled even more. They headed out the front door to start the school day.
