Percy POV
I watched as the army of vans carrying the Roman Demi-gods race away to go back to camp Jupiter to celebrate as well as the Greeks the defeat of the primordial goddess Gaea.
How is it that so many demi-gods would want to drive across the country instead of just fly or something simpler than being targets in vans? Romans are weird now that I think about it. I guess the best part of all of this was not only being with Annabeth but watching that weasel Octavian blow up. But I guess being with Annabeth trumps all of that.
As I watched the last van disappear from the horizon, Annabeth came up from behind me, put one hand on the sensitive part of my back, even though I wasn't indestructible anymore, it felt like lightning was being shot into my body, and the other she laced her hand in mine. "Don't worry we'll see them more often."
"I know but it will be different without them here not to mention boring" I said.
"You calling me boring Seaweed Brain!?
"No because I know you'll beat me up".
"You know I'll beat you up, race you down the hill" Anna said.
"Oh, you are so on". I watched her book it down the hill and I quickly chased after her. Once we reached the bottom, I turned to her and put my hand in hers.
When I looked into her stormy eyes and she looked into my sea green eyes, we kissed, a passionate kiss until someone behind us cleared his throat which made us blush.
"Grover!" I yelled.
"What, did I interrupt something" he smirked.
"No not at all Grover" Annabeth complained.
"Alright I'll leave you two alone then" he said as he started trotting away.
I grabbed Annabeth's hand and led her to my cabin, a white stone house with a blue trident above the door and the green interior with two sets of bunkbeds.
We walked into it because it was already getting dark out, I changed out of my worn-out orange camp t-shirt and Bermuda shorts and changed into my night attire which consisted of boxers and a tank top.
Anna took off her clothes and put on one of my new blue shirts that had a wave pattern on it with shorts on.
"Are you comfortable?" I asked.
"I'm always comfortable when I'm lying next to you SeaWeed Brain" Annabeth said.
I lightly rubbed the inside of her thigh and when she was slowly falling asleep, I whispered, "I love you to the moon and back my Wise Girl. I can't wait to spend forever with you by my side."
She smiled at me and when we kissed, it was like Zeus had just struck me with lightning like his daughter did when we fought.
As she fell asleep on my chest I thought, man, I have the best girlfriend in the world, and she doesn't know how much I love her and all the things that I would do to protect her from any kind of harm, even if it meant putting myself in danger which always happened.
I kissed her cheek and fell asleep with my arm around her and the sound of the ocean right by my window, the fountain that my father Poseidon had given me and the sound of the animals in the woods.
"I love you more than there are stars in the sky Percy" Annabeth said into my ear.
"I will always love you more Wise Girl.
I fell asleep with the girl of my dreams on my mind and next to my body.
