The factory
"I'm sorry if we had to do this to you but we have to talk!" Giovanni explained.
The chair was old and the knots weren't too tight but Gabriel couldn't free himself.
Francesca and Joey were nearby. Where was Danny?
"First of all, what is this?" Giovanni asked showing the Tamagotchi.
"Second, who or what did this to you?"
Giovanni showed the scratches on Gabriel's chest.
"I would say they are cat scratches but they are way too big!"
"It's a long story!" Gabriel answered.
"I have time. Tell me!"
Gabriel told the story excluding the fact the red panda was a little girl with shape shifting powers.
"Well, that explains your behaviour in these last few days but..."
The gizmo started beeping.
"Oh no!" Gabriel said.
"What's going on?"
"The gizmo! It means the bear is coming here! Please free me!"
"Yang Di's bear is coming to us? Good!"
Giovanni ordered Joy to take a couple of baseball bats from his room. Soon they were armed in the front door. Francesca was filming the event with the camera.
Meanwhile the gizmo flashed faster.
"If that bear dares to come any closer we'll stun him!"
"Giovanni no, she's not a regular bear. You stand no chance against her?"
"Her?"
The gizmo was flashing faster. Mei Mei was coming.
Meanwhile Danny arrived.
"What's going on here?"
"Danny!?"
Crash!
The front door was destroyed and the big red panda arrived.
"Gabriel!" she said.
Francesca screamed.
Giovanni wasn't sure if the beast talked but there was no time for this.
Soon Joey and Giovanni were beating the beast but their bats were ineffective.
"Danny, free me! Hurry!" Gabriel said while his aunt Francesca was still filming the battle.
Quickly Danny untied his brother who ran upstairs. He had to escape, but where?
He decide to hide himself in the bathroom, the smallest room of the house. The battle was still going on downstairs.
Quickly Gabriel locked the door. What he was supposed to do now?
He heard something hit the window.
It was Bruce.
"Gabriel, over here!"
As Gabriel opened the window Bruce took the boy outside the house.
"Thankfully you informed us about this party, we were supervising you. When we noticed you weren't in the sewers after so many hours we started to worry. Thankfully we arrived just in time!"
"Wait, how about my relatives?"
"Don't worry about your brother and your uncle. They'll be fine. Mei Mei isn't interested about them. Now hurry!"
Bruce took Gabriel to the sewers this time with a motorcycle (the car was still unavailable).
As they arrived to the manhole they found a sign on it.
"Sewers closed for works. Access to all unauthorized personnel is prohibited."
"Oh no!"
"Don't worry Gabe! Just ignore it!"
As they tried to go in a worker came up form the sewer.
"Hey, what are you doing? Didn't you read the sign? Go away, we have a lot of work to do!"
"Too bad!" Bruce said.
The Tamagotchi was flashing.
"Come with me Gabriel!"
Gabriel turned back to the motorcycle. Where Bruce was taking him?
The officer pushed a button on his helmet;
"Bad news girls, the sewers aren't available, I'm taking Enzo to the old abandoned factory in section 3. I need support too!"
The old abandoned factory had a spooky atmosphere.
"Let's go in!" Bruce ordered.
The factory was really abandoned, the machinery seemed to have been turned off for years. And there was no sound of a fly.
Quickly Antonella arrived from the big door.
"There you are!"
"Antonella, do you have some news?"
"Gabriel's relatives are ok, but I lost Mei Mei. The fact she's still not here is a good point. I also accidentally broke my darts!"
The door knocked again; this time the Lee family and the three girls arrived.
"Here's the support!" Abby declared.
"How long you are here?" Ming asked.
"Not much but she can arrive in any minute now!" Bruce said.
"Then we must..."
The Tamagotchi was flashing.
"She's incoming!" Gabriel said.
"Quickly, let's seal the door!"
The guys sealed the door with a chain.
As they locked the chain they heard the loud noise like someone some punching the door.
"She's here!" Bruce said.
"We'll try to block the door with some wooden bars!" Antonella said.
"Good, I'll take the boy in a safer place! Let's go Gabriel!" Ming ordered.
The Chinese woman brought the Italian boy to the most remote place of the factory. In a big room at the second floor.
"This is the most safe place of the factory!" Jin said.
The three girls looked from a window.
"Bad news, Mei Mei has destroyed the door!" Priya said.
"Oh no, it happened too quickly!" Ming said.
"What should we do?" Miriam said.
"There's one thing..."
Ming took a piece of chalk from her pocket.
"Gabriel… stand still… don't move!"
Soon Ming drew a circle around Gabriel. What was she doing?
"Help me out Jin!"
"Certainly!" he answered like he figured out what Ming was doing.
With Jin's help the drew some ideograms on the circle.
"All right, almost done…" Ming said.
"Guys you should hurry, she's almost here!" Abby said.
"Don't worry, still a little more…. Done!"
"What is this?" Gabriel asked pointing the circle.
"Don't move. Let's go!"
They hid themselves somewhere in the room.
Meanwhile the red panda arrived.
"Gabriel!"
Gabriel thought she was about to eat him but she didn't. She started walking continuously around the circle.
"What's going on?"
"Don't worry…" Ming Lee said. Her voice sounded far away. "….as long you'll be in the circle she won't be able to touch you, but be careful, don't leave the circle, don't stick out even a finger or she'll grab it and she'll take you outside the circle!"
Without knowing why Gabriel stuck a finger out of the circle. Quickly Mei Mei tried to grab it with her mouth but Gabriel immediately placed it back in the circle.
"That was close!" he thought.
After a while the red panda left the room. Also the Tamagotchi stopped flashing.
All the guys came out from their hideouts.
"Well, that was close!" Jin said.
"The circle worked fine!" Ming declared.
"What should we do now?" Priya asked.
"I don't know! I have to think about it!" Ming said.
"Can I leave the circle?"
"No Gabriel, stay there for a little more! We don't know if she will come back!"
The Chinese woman sat on a chair. She looked depressed.
"What's wrong dear?" Jin asked.
