The celebration
The day arrived.
Everyone was expecting a great celebration for the new president.
"I'm so excited!" Mei Mei confessed.
"Don't worry, just take a deep breath and relax!" Abby said.
"Have you prepared your speech?" Pryia asked.
"Yes I have! And have you prepared the video?"
"Sure!" Abby said showing a disc.
"Go, everyone's waiting for you!" Miriam said.
The school principal started the event as soon as he got everyone's attention;
"It's with great pride that I am pleased to announce the new president of the student council. Ladies and gentlemen, let's give a big round of applause to Mei Lee!"
The Chinese girl went up to the podium accompanied by applause.
"Thank you, thank you!" she said excited.
"You know, it's a great honour for me to be not only the first girl president in the history of this school but also the youngest!"
She motioned to her friends to start the movie.
Her campaign exploits appeared on the screen behind her.
"Three months… for three months I studied and worked to become a classy president!"
The movie showed Mei Mei studying at the library and writing his speeches.
The viewers applauded.
"But not only studied, to become a perfect president I had to be near people!"
Then the movie showed Mei Mei shook hands and hugging some people.
People applauded again.
"Being near my people was the most important things, because facts are more important then words. And you trusted in me. For this I'll show my eternal gratitude, soon the entire school will know the best president ever seen. And with the help of..."
But people suddenly gasped.
"I mean with the help of..."
People gasped again, this time someone screamed terrorized.
"What's going on?"
People was still watching the screen.
Mei Mei turned her head and there was the video where she destroyed Giovanni's house in order to eat Gabriel.
"Hey, who put that video in the disc?" Abby asked.
"I didn't!" Miriam answered.
"Don't look at me, I have no idea!" Pryia also said.
"Then who would do such a thing?" Abby asked.
"Gabriel!" Mei Mei said quickly turning into a giant red panda.
