Chapter 6: Doctor Chopper, The Blue-Nosed Reindeer

~On Drum Island~

Wapol and his gang of pirates have anchored their ship. They have returned home after many months of searching. They beat some men, who were on watch patrol before they could report back to the village.

Wapol laughed at them as he rode on his fur-covered hippo, called the White Walkie. He gazed at the mountain where his castle was at its peak.

"Ah, there is no place like home, Drum Island. Unchanged. Majestic. Mother Nature. Chess, is the castle safe?" He asked his faithful subordinate.

His faithful subordinate looked like a jester and was looking through his binoculars.

"Yes, just like we left it, Your Majesty." He replied.

"Very good! Now onward to Drum Castle, men!" Wapol ordered.

His men cheered and marched on to Drum Castle.

"My days as a pirate are over. I'm going back to being a king! Now onward, Robson!" He commanded his pet to move.

Robson didn't seem that he wanted to move, which made Wapol angry.

"HEY! You bag of fur, I said to move it. Come on, you lazy good for nothing." He rambled.

Robson ignored him.

One of Wapol's soldiers ran up to him.

"King Wapol, terrible news! Those Pirates from yesterday have docked their ship on the riverbank." He said urgently.

Everyone stopped and froze in fear, as they recognized the ship. They all remembered the Straw Hat girl and shivered as they remembered the look on her face. It was like she had the face of a demon. Except for Wapol, who looked overjoyed.

"Is that so? Excellent! Not only will I be king again, but I'll get a queen too. Now I can claim the pretty girl as my own." Wapol said in glee.

"What! But Your Majesty, the girl is not to be queen." Chess protested.

"Don't tell me that you've already forgotten what that girl had done to you, Your Highness. She sent you flying, using her Devil Fruit powers. If we hadn't reached you in time, you would have sunken to the bottom of the ocean, like an anchor." Kuromarimo said.

"SILENCE!" Wapol yelled, shutting Chess and Kuromarimo up. "I'm the King. Whatever I say, I expect you to obey. Not to defy me. Anyone who defies me, shall be executed do I make myself clear?"

"Clear as crystal, Your Majesty." They both yelled, kneeling on one knee.

"You were right about one thing. I was a little surprised that the girl has Devil Fruit powers. It won't happen again when I see her again. She'll be in for a surprise what I'm about to do with her, when I show her my Devil Fruit powers." Wapol concluded.

"Of course, you're strong, My King." Chess said, smirking evilly.

"Yes, once you demonstrate your powers, she'll tremble before you." Kuromarimo said smiling darkly.

"Yes." Wapol said, turning his gaze away from the two men.

His eyes were filled with desire, smirking at how he yearned to have her. To have her as his own, made his insides tremble with excitement.

"Once I regain myself as king, I'll capture the girl and make her my Queen, whether she likes it or not. Monkey D. Luffy, you're going to be mine!" Wapol said, determined to have her for himself. No one could stop him from doing so. Not even her crew.

~With Luffy~

Luffy was cold, cold. Cold in this blasted blizzard. She had no clue on how many hours she spent in this blistering snow forest.

Luffy heaved every step as she carried both Nami and Sanji. She had no idea how or why this happened. Those freakishly large mutant rabbits, that Dalton warned her about, she forgot what their names were. They had started to attack them for no fucking reason. This caused an avalanche to bury them. And Sanji... The memory seemed to hurt her, when she remembered how Sanji sacrificed himself to save both her and Nami from being buried in the snow. She thankfully found him but he was badly hurt. Once she got Sanji out and carried both him and Nami. She found a baby rabbit digging something. She saw a large paw sticking out of the snow. The baby was trying to dig his parent out of the snow. Only it proved it was hard. His paws were not strong enough to handle the hard snow.

Luffy helped the baby's parent out of the snow and left for the Drum Rockies, so she could get Nami and Sanji to the doctor.

So now she walked towards it, feeling her body becoming numb from the cold winter. Her skin turned purple. She gave her coat to Nami. That way it'll keep her much warm. She then heard a loud thumping sound, coming from behind. She glanced back to see a furry-looking animal and three people riding on top of it. The beast slid to a halt till it faced her.

"I finally found you, my love. Fate has brought us together once again." Wapol said dreamly. He thought that he was swooning her over.

"You again! I don't have time for you. Move it or lose it." Luffy said bluntly. She was still bitterly hating that hippo for what he had done before, as she glared at him.

Kuromarimo and Chess flinched and cringed, but Wapol was unaffected by her. It was as if she was never the one who sent him flying to the sky.

"You're one feisty girl. I like you a lot. My offer of making you my Queen still stands. So what do you say?" He said putting on a polished smile. This was what he got for a reply.

"Do I've to say it again? I said, N-O! No means no." She growled, shivering from the cold.

Wapol frowned in disapproval.

"No, I don't think you understand the words that I just said. Let me clear it up for you. I'm Wapol, King of Drum Island and when I say I'll make you my Queen, I mean it. You'll be my Queen whether you want to or not." He said.

"Listen fat-head, I don't care if you're the King. I don't have time for your whining. I need to get my friends to the doctor and fast. No, MOVE ASIDE!" She said annoyed. She could feel her nerves breaking. Only she needed to remain in control. She couldn't fight while holding Sanji and Nami. They would get hurt if she did.

"Are you ordering me... to move?" Wapol asked slowly, starting to feel irritated. Then he saw the Straw Hat girl walk past Robson and away from him.

Wapol gritted his teeth furiously that the girl had refused him and to become his Queen. His eyes then moved to the sick girl and the unconscious man. He then got an idea.

"Chess." Wapol said.

"Yes, My King." Chess replied.

"I just came up with a new law. If a girl refuses a King's proposal then... her friends will be executed immediately!" He declared.

Once he had said that, Luffy turned her head swiftly and gaped.

Wapol smiled at her reaction.

"No!" Luffy said fiercely.

"Oh yes. Chess, Kuromarimo, kill the sick girl and the blond guy now!" Wapol commanded cruelly.

"As you commanded, My King." They chorused, jumping off from Robson to attack Luffy's friends.

"Marimo's Surprise." Kuromarimo said, as he jumped. He exposed spiked protruding from his afro gloves. He attempted to crush the blond guy.

Luffy quickly dodged his attack. Just as she was about to fight back, she remembered Sanji's words: 'If you fight, you'll only hurt Nami.' She growled in frustration. She ran away from them to the Drum Rockies. She then heard a whizzing sound coming from behind her. She looked back to see three arrows coming at her. She gracefully flipped herself, holding Sanji and Nami tightly before running off again.

"Chess, Kuromarimo, I think it's time to teach her a lesson on what happens when you defy a King." Wapol said grinning.

Luffy kept on running on the snowy path. She then looked back to see if they were following her. That Wapol guy and his goons didn't follow her, which was weird.

"What's going on? Did they give up?" She muttered confused to herself.

Luffy kept looking back. She didn't see a giant mouth appear. Ready to gobble her up.

Luffy turned her head back to the front and screamed. She quickly jumped before Wapol could chop her down. She sighed that she got out safely. Only then she saw the smirking look on his face. That didn't look promising.

Then without warning, Chess and Kuromarimo appeared out of nowhere with their weapons ready.

"Checkmate!" They yelled together, as they readied themselves to kill two of her Nakama.

"NO! STOP IT!" Luffy screamed as she helplessly watched these two bozos were about to kill her Nakama.

Before those two could reach them, two Lapins appeared at amazing speed and knocked both Chess and Kuromarimo out.

Luffy landed as she gasped to see those Lapins came to save her.

Wapol gawked, even Chess and Kuromarimo. They knew Lapins never took a liking to humans.

Luffy noticed that one of the Lains had a baby on its back. when the big Lapin turned around to face her. she immediately recognized that Lapin. This was the one she had saved. Now it came back to save her and her friends.

She grinned and said: "Thank you!"

Then she was off to the Drum Rockies.

"Don't let her escape!" Wapol hollowed.

Chess and Kuromarimo ran after her, only to be blocked by the Lapin. Then hordes of Lapins emerged from the snow, blocking Wapol and his men from going after her.

Wapol growled furiously and said: "Damn you! How dare you block my path! I'm King Wapol. I'll have this girl as my Queen one way or another."

~Outside of Drum Castle on the Drum Rockies~

Luffy had reached the Drum Rockies. Now she was climbing up the mountain till she reached its peak. She tightened a belt around Nami and her torso to keep her from falling. She held Sanji between her teeth and started climbing. She had been climbing up the mountain for God knows how long. Her body was screaming for her to stop, but refused to listen to its protest. Not when her Nakama needed her help. Her skin was bruised and swollen. Her hands and feet were frozen stiff and covered in blood. She shivered uncontrollably as the strong blizzard blew her over.

She looked up and could feel like she wanted to scream for joy, as she was almost a few feet to the top. She climbed up, ignoring the searing pain from her body. She finally reached the mountaintop.

"I - pant – made it. Nami... Sanji... we – pant – made it." She said, falling on a heap of snow, completely knocked out.

A large shadow figure then appeared before the fallen pirate heroes. He carried Luffy, Sanji and Nami and walked to the castle.

~In Drum Castle~

Nami had found the strength to open her eyes. Her vision was blurry at first. After a couple of blinks, she could finally see. She figured that she was in some room. She had a wet rag on her forehead. With her fever coming down, she looked around the room till her eyes landed on something. Or was it someone really fuzzy, wearing a maroon pair of shorts, a pink fuzzy hat and two antlers? His left antler had a metal base around it. She was gazing at the fuzzy creature.

The said creature turned around. When it saw that Nami was awake, he panicked and quickly went to hide behind the door frame. Only he was hiding the wrong way, revealing half of his body.

Namie slowly got up and stared at the creature in surprise.

"Are you the one who helped me? If you are, thank you." She said.

"I don't need thanks from you, human!" The creature spat at her, while blushing. "Wait, I mean that was really nice of you to say. No, I mean, I don't need your thanks but still, it feels nice. No no."

Nami sweat-dropped at the creature's mood swings. It suddenly came to her that the creature just had spoken.

"Wait! You can talk!" Nami shouted, causing the child-like furry creature to stumble backward crashing in weapons and some medicine tools.

"Chopper, quiet down!" Someone said.

Nami turned to see a very old woman with two kinds of glasses. On her eyes were sunglasses and another pair on her bleach blond hair. She wore a teen-style outfit and a ring belly.

Nami blinked at the odd old lady and her fashion sense. Then the old lady put her index on her forehead, while drinking booze.

"I see that the fever has gone down. Thirty-eight point two, that's tolerable." The old woman said by just examining her fever using her finger.

"Who are you?" Nami asked.

"I'm Dr Kureha, but I prefer to be called Doctorine." The old woman said as she removed her sunglasses.

"A doctor! Then that means..." It hit Nami like lightning. "Wait! There were two others with me. They..."

"Nami." A voice called out.

Nami turned her head to see who called her. Her face was marred with relief. It was her ever so hyper Captain.

Luffy was all bandaged from head to toe, almost resembling a mummy.

"Nami, you're okay. That means no more fever. I'm so glad." Luffy said happy to see her friend up and about. That made her smile widen more. It could almost split her head into two.

"Yeah, thanks to you and Sanji. Wait a minute, where is Sanji?" Nami questioned.

"Sanji is still in bed sleeping. He got hurt on our way here, but he'll be okay." Luffy replied grinning.

"That's good. As soon as Sanji gets better, the sooner we leave." Nami said.

"Not so fast." Doctorine intervened scowling. "You two aren't going anywhere. You two will stay here until you're fully healed."

"I'm sorry, we can't wait. We need to get back on track before..." Nami stated.

"I SAID ZIP IT AND REST!" Doctorine said strongly, pushing Nami roughly on her bed with amazing strength, stunning Nami for good.

"Hey! You can't do that to..." Luffy began but stopped, when she saw Doctorine pulling Nami's shirt up, showing her a very nasty-looking shiner on her belly.

"What's... that?" Nami asked surprised. She never noticed it before.

"You were bitten by an insect, a Kesita. It's an infectious species of tick, that inhabits hot humid jungles. The disease begins when the insect bites, and bacteria enter through its mouth. Once inside, it incubated for five days, causing the host immense pain. The symptoms include a fever over forty, widespread infection, Myocarditis, Arteritis and encephalitis. From the look of this wound, I'm guessing it's about the third day. Two more days and you would have been dead."

After she concluded her explanation, it made Nami and Luffy gasp. Doctorine got up and proceeded to talk.

"It's called the Five-Day Disease. That's why you can't leave till your fever comes down completely. Though I heard the Kesita became extinct a hundred years ago. You were lucky I still had the Antibiotic. The big question is, how did you get yourself infected with such a disease? Were you in some Prehistoric jungle or something?" She then started the laugh like a witch.

"Prehistoric jungle, what a laugh. Of course, you weren't. It's highly impossible" She said, before laughing some more.

Nami and Luffy sweat-dropped as they remembered their adventure in Little Garden.

Luffy slid her way to Nami's side.

"Should we tell her?" She whispered into Nami's ear.

"Nah, besides she would never believe us anyway." Nami said. She looked and sounded bored.

Luffy nodded in agreement and replied: "You gotta point."

Doctorine noticed their whispering, something that made her annoyed.

"What are you two murmuring about?" Doctorine asked suspiciously.

"Nothing!" They quickly answered regaining their composer and smiled innocently.

Doctorine got the look of suspicion on her face. Only she shrugged it off and said: "Well anyway, the two of you along with your weird eyebrow friend aren't going anywhere." She then pointed at Nami and said: "You were almost on the brink of death. Your fever hasn't completely come down. You'll remain in bed for the three days."

She then pointed at Luffy and said: "And you are also getting your rest after you climbed a five thousand meters high mountain with your bare hands and sleeveless vest. Because of that, you got frostbite all over your body."

Then she pointed at the room where Sanji was resting and said: "And the guy with the weird eyebrow has severe hemorrhaging, six broken ribs and a fractured spine. Either you three are brave or you brats wanted to die this bad."

"Nobody leaves this place till they are recovered or... died."Doctorine then threatened them, so they would obey her command. Only these two girls didn't flinch.

"You don't understand. We can't stay here for three days." Nami protested.

"She's right. We're in a hurry. If we don't leave now, then Vivi..." Luffy didn't finish it.

Doctorine suddenly threw two small medical knives at Nami and Luffy, but nearly missed, making the girls freeze.

"Like I said before. None of you are going anywhere till you're fully recovered. If any of you try to escape from here, I'll hunt you down like animals and tie you up on the bed. Do I make myself clear?" She said, holding out another knife. She had a scary look on her face, like a real witch.

Nami and Luffy cringed at the scary old lady and silently nodded.

Unaware to them, there was a small creature – whose name was Chopper, that Doctorine called him – who was watching the spectacle with wide eyes. His eyes were on the girl wearing a straw hat, when a memory came to mind as he remembered those words coming from the raven-haired girl that had struck like a blade to his heart.

~Begin Flashback~

Luffy grabbed Doctorine's arm in a vice-like and had a glare to go with it. Despite that her body was completely frozen like ice, she still had the strength to grab a hold of Doctorine.

"Th-they're m-m-my Na-Nakama. P-please, he-help them first." She said with chattering teeth.

~End Flashback~

He was completely taken aback by surprise to see a young girl ready to put her own life down to save her Nakama first before herself. He had never seen anyone like that, except... He closed his eyes and shook his head, when he noticed that he was dwelling on the past. He needed to remain strong... for him. For the person, he owed his life to. Just when he opened his eyes, the Straw Hat girl was staring back at him.

"Uhm... You're hiding the wrong way." Luffy told him bluntly.

Chopper flushed that he got caught again.

"So who are you?" Luffy asked tilting her head to the side.

Chopper unintentionally replied: "I'm Tony Tony Chopper. It's very nice to meet you."

When he realized what he had done, he squeezed and covered his mouth with his hooves.

Luffy blinked and to Chopper's shock, she got stars in her eyes.

"You can talk! WOW! That's so awesome! Hey Nami, that little cow talked." She said excitedly, waving her arms.

"I'M NOT A COW! I'M A REINDEER!" Chopper yelled.

To add another weird event, Sanji came out of the room. His upper body was bandaged with a cigarette between his lips. He looked around to see everyone staring at him. When his eyes landed on Nami, his eye turned heart-shaped

"Nami-swan, you're okay. My heart sings with joy to see you all well and hearty. I was so worried about you." Sanji exclaimed.

His eye landed on Luffy. His heart-shaped eye turned into horror and he grabbed both her small hands.

"Luffy-chan, what happened to you?! You're hurt. Who did this to you? Was it those fucking bunnies that did this to you, DIDN'T THEY?!" He said horrified and furious. His body became covered in fire, making Chopper squeak in fright.

"HE'S ON FIRE!" Chopper shouted as his eyes popped out.

Sanji turned away from Luffy. He posed a hero with a sparkling background. I really have no idea where that came from.

"DON'T WORRY, LUFFY-CHAN! YOUR FAITHFUL SANJI WILL AVENGE FOR YOU, MY BELOVED. I'LL TURN THOSE FUCKING BUNNIES TO STEW, WHEN I'M DONE WITH THEM!" Sanji declared with fire in his eye.

The dramatic display ended when Doctorine smashed him with a giant club.

"That's enough nuttiness for one day." She said dragging Sanji by his leg back to his room.

Nami narrowed her eyes and another sweat drop had been formed from watching Sanji's love act for Luffy by going out in the blistering snow to get revenge on... bunnies! What the hell had happened while she was out?

Luffy just watched Sanji being dragged away by that creepy doctor lady. She then turned her head to see the talking reindeer only to find that he was gone. She then went out to find him and convince him to be part of her pirate crew.

~With Luffy~

Luffy had been searching for Chopper for hours. There was no sign of him. She would eventually find him. He couldn't hide forever. She then came across an opened door. Curious, she went inside. The room was filled with gadgets, bubbly liquids and some other medicine stuff. She looked around in awe till she found a picture frame. Inside was a picture of that talking Reindeer looking happy and a man with a weird hairstyle was smiling down on the Reindeer. She gazed at the picture with a smile. When she was about to touch it, someone shouted: "Don't touch that!"

Luffy turned her head to see the talking Reindeer standing in the doorway looking mad.

"Don't touch that." He repeated, when he quickly ran to it and snatched the picture.

"Sorry... so who is that man next to you?" She asked, referring to the picture. She saw the little Reindeer tense.

Chopper said: "I don't want to talk about it."

Luffy nodded in understanding and didn't press him on. So she was going to ask him another question.

"Hey, I'm Monkey D. Luffy. You wanna join my pirate crew, become my Nakama?" She said, causing him to almost drop the picture frame.

"What? No way, no how. I don't want to be a p-pirate." Chopper said.

Luffy heard hesitation when he said the word 'pirate'.

"Why not? Pirates are cool. They've lots of adventures. They meet cool people and sing pirate songs." She said.

"Wait! Pirates can sing too." Chopper said in awe.

"Yeah, pirates sing all the time. So what'd you say, wanna be my Nakama?" She asked him again.

Chopper stood silent for a moment. He remembered something that Dr Hiluluk used to say. Something like that, but he turned her down again.

"I can't be a pirate. Look at me. I'm a talking Reindeer. I'm not normal and I've a blue nose." He said.

"So?" She asked, tilting her head to the side and crossing her arms.

"What'd you mean 'so'? I can't be a pirate because of what I am. I'm different. I'm a... monster." He said with his eyes cast down on the icy floor.

Luffy could feel the sadness overflowing from the little Reindeer. Her gaze softened before she grinned.

"I don't think you're a monster. I think you're pretty cool." She said.

Chopper looked at her in surprise.

"Heck, back in my village some people sometimes called me a monster." She said.

"Eh! Why? You look normal and human too." Chopper said shocked.

"Shihehehehe. Don't judge a book by its cover." She said, surprising him by stretching her arms wide at an inhuman rate.

That scared Chopper to its wit.

"Y-y-your arms, they... stretch. But how?" He said shocked.

"I ate the Gum-Gum Fruit." She said grinning.

"Gum-Gum?" He asked puzzled.

"Yeah, it was a weird-looking piece of fruit called a Devil Fruit. It really tastes like stinky socks. It gave me the power to stretch, neat huh?" She described the fruit to Chopper.

Realization then hit him.

"Wait a minute, the way you describe the fruit. I ate a fruit just like that. It tasted horrible and made me into this." Chopper said.

"Really, that explains why you can talk." She said.

"Yeah, the fruit was called the Human-Human Fruit. It turned me into a human-reindeer hybrid." Chopper said.

Luffy bent herself to Chopper's eye level and said: "See Chopper, there are others like you that feel the same way. Even humans. They always feel different and out of place, making you feel like you don't belong here. But don't you think there is a reason why?"

The way she spoke was in experience, that she had been through like Chopper had.

Chopper waited for the girl to say it.

After a moment, she said: "The reason why... is because there are other people who accept you for who you are. We've a dream that keeps us alive and gives us the courage to set sail on the high seas, striving to reach it."

She smiled, her teeth almost shining pearly white.

Chopper's breath hitched as he recalled what Dr Hiluluk had said those exact words to him. It had made him feel special.

"Chopper, pirates are the brave men. They fear nothing. They hold their head up high with pride, facing obstacles that seem impossible to escape from death. They're the friends you can count on. Only that won't stop them because of their dreams. That was because we have a dream, that keeps us alive and gives us the courage to set sail on the high seas to reach it." His words of advice had pierced Chopper's heart. It now lived in him for life. He would never forget what he had said to him. Up till now he still never forgot these words. Now this girl had warmed her way into his heart, like Dr Hiluluk had done.

"Dr Hiluluk." Chopper muttered.

"Huh?" Luffy said confused.

"He... said the same words to me... long ago." He said, holding the picture to his chest and embracing it.

"Dr Hiluluk? Is that the man in the picture?" She asked.

"Yes." He said.

"What's he like?" Luffy asked curious.

Chopper hesitated. He wasn't sure if he should tell her about his sad childhood and his time with Dr Hiluluk. Should he really trust this girl to tell her about his past? When he looked up and gazed at her eyes. With just one look in her brown eyes, he believed that he could trust her with a piece of his past.

"All right, I'll tell you." Chopper said as he sat down.

Luffy followed his example.

Thus Chopper began his tale.

~A few moments later~

After long hours, Chopper had ended his story.

To say Luffy was mixed in admiration that Dr Hiluluk – who was also known as a quack doctor – had a dream to make a Winter Island filled with Sakura blossoms to cure people with happiness and never to lose hope, and sorrow that the quack doctor was on the verge of death because of his illness, but still fought on. Lastly was anger, because Wapol killed Dr Hiluluk and laughed at his death, adding another reason to hate that fat sick hippo.

Luffy noticed Chopper taking off his hat as he examined it.

"I'll never forget what he had done for me. I'll never forget his dreams. Because of him, he gave me a dream. A dream to become the best doctor in the world. I'll create antidotes that will cure any disease and become a better doctor. That is my dream." Chopper exclaimed.

Luffy smiled at him. She then put her hand on top of his furry head. She gently ruffled at the fuzzy fur.

Chopper blushed and relaxed at her touch.

"I bet you'll be an amazing doctor, Chopper. And Dr Hiluluk will be smiling down on you once you achieve your dream." She said gently, like a mother encouraging her child.

Just like that, Chopper felt tears coming on and quickly wiped it away. He smiled at her.

"Yeah." He said, both staying like this for a while.

Chopper's blue nose picked up a familiar scent and tensed.

Luffy noticed it.

"What's wrong?" She asked, but was ignored.

Chopper got up and looked through a window. His face twisted with anger and hate.

"It's him. Wapol, he's back." He growled angrily.

Once that name was spoken, Luffy scolded. Determination burned in her eyes. She got up, ready to beat down that hippo once and for all for what he had done.

~Luffy's Confrontation with Wapol~

So now Luffy was on the top of the tower of Durm Castle. Wapol had revealed to her his most powerful weapon of all, the Royal Drum Crown Seven-Shot Bilking Cannon. He would use his cannon to blast Luffy's friends sky-high and have her as his Queen all to himself.

"With this cannon, I'll not only kill your friends, I'll regain control of Drum Island as King and..." He said, smirking in his slim form.

His eyes filled with lustful desire as he gazed at her.

"And then... you'll be mine as my Queen of Drum Island forever!" He laughed evilly, as he was about to pull the lever.

"Gum Gum Gatling Gun!" Luffy cried out, raining her punches down on Wapol's cannon with no mercy. She crushed it down till it was nothing but scraps.

Wapol's jaw dropped and he flinched at the girl's abnormal strength.

"You know, I'm sick and tired of you mouthing about belonging to you like some possession that you want to keep. I think it's time to learn your place, hippo." Luffy said, taking hold of Wapol. She repeatedly twisted her torso vertically around his waist.

"Gum Gum Bowgun." She said, snapping back while sending Wapol flying upwards.

Wapol crashed through the roof of the tower and was stuck.

Luffy wasn't done with him yet. She appeared before Wapol. She then stretched both her arms far back.

Wapol recognized that move from before.

"NO, NO WAIT! PLEASE CONSIDER! IF YOU BECOME MY QUEEN, I'LL GIVE YOU EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED! JUST DON'T USE..." He began to beg.

"GUM GUM BAZOOKA!" She yelled, hurling her arms forward.

Once again she sent Wapol far far away, that he'd never come back to Drum Island ever again. Thus Monkey D. Luffy had won the battle yet again.

~On the Going Merry~

After a long with Wapol and his goons finally had been defeated and never heard from them ever again.

Nami was now well and ready to depart, sailing to Alalbasta.

To make it even better, Chopper had decided to join the Straw Hats as their doctor. It made this family even bigger.

Nami was barking orders, so they could leave to set sail.

Before they could go, Dalton came to speak with them.

"Wait, before you go, Doctorine said that she wants to show you something before you leave. Especially for you, Chopper." He said.

"For me? What is it?" Chopper asked.

"Look up at the Drum Rockies and wait for it." Dalton said, turning to see with a mysterious smile on his face.

Everyone looked up at the Drum Rockies with nothing in particular. Until they heard several cannon blasts something up in the sky. Then after a split second, a large pink fluffy cloud appeared above the Drum Rockies, making it look like a tree. To their amazement, the flacks have turned their color from white into pink. Similar to a Sakura Blossom. It rained down on the Winter Island. They were in awe at the most beautiful sight. Chopper was on the verge of tears, seeing Dr Hiluluk's experiment worked. His dream had finally come true.

'Do you see it, Doctor? Your dream has come true. You healed this island's sadness with your experiment. I bet you're smiling now, huh.' He thought smiling. He let his tears run down on his cheeks.

Luffy smiled like a Christmas tree. She stuck her hand out, as the Sakura Blossom softly landed on her palm.

"It's so... beautiful." She said softly.

That got Zoro and Sanji's attention, as they were standing next to her.

The moment they looked at her to see the Sakura Blossoms dance around Luffy. That made her look even more beautiful than the Sakurai Blossoms. Her eyes sparkled like stars as she gazed at the petals and that smile, they loved so much, made her stunning.

Luffy was like an angel in their eyes. Their hearts beat faster. They flushed and smiled truly.

"Yes... beautiful." Sanji said in a daze, before turning away.

"Yeah." Zoro agreed also in a daze, turning away.

Zoro and Sanji smiled truly as they stood close to their Captain. Not close enough. Seeing her happy, made them happy as well. They vowed that they would make sure that Luffy would remain happy and to see the beautiful smile on her face. She was worth it more than their dreams.

~Somewhere on the Grand Line~

Somewhere in the middle of the ocean was a man riding on a raft. He wore a black coat and a black hat with two smileys, a happy one and a sad one. He pulled a paper out of his pocket and flipped it open. It showed a wanted poster of Monkey D. Luffy, who was worth thirty million Berry. He smirked at her childlike grin.
