Chapter 3:

Draco'd been busy the first weeks of school. An no, not with school. More with trying to make a certain redhead jealous.

See, something nobody knew about Draco, was that he'd been obsessed with trying to get some kind of reaction out of the young Weaslette. It was mid-October and everyone had adapted to the new setting of the school. Except for the Weaslette. She was quiet and indifferent. It seemed like her fierce temper had calmed down. Something he wasn't used to. And so he tried every remark and insult, just for her to show a minimum emotion. He didn't like it. You see, ever since Ginny Weasley had walked into his compartment in the Hogwarts Express, he hadn't been able to take his eyes off of her. Her eyes looked so … empty and dull even though she'd be biting his tongue off. He knew it had something to do with the golden Trio leaving. After only a few days back at Hogwarts, the rumors had started to spread about why the golden Trio left. Ginny was left with nothing but worries, and he noticed. Maybe her stupid friends didn't but he could see the pain in her eyes.

He stared at her. During dinners, in the classes they shared, even when he'd see her walk down the corridors, he'd stare. He was fascinated by the youngest Weasley.

And so it happened that the brilliant idea of making her jealous came into his mind. Because he'd seen her, too, stare at him.

He used to wrap every girl around his finger. But unlike all the stuff people told about him, he'd actually only kissed 4 girls and only has had sex once. Though he liked the rumors about how 'experienced' he was, he knew most of the stories were made up. Yet, the only girl he really wanted, was Ginny Weasley. And what better way to make her see him like that too, than to make her jealous?

And so for the last few weeks he'd been giving 'special' attention to Ginny's close friend, Amber. He knew Amber would eat it right up. He wasn't planning on doing anything with Amber, but just enough to try and make Ginny realize how much she liked him back.

And so it happened that for the past few weeks, he'd been staring at Amber, though he had to restrain himself to not look at Ginny, and been giving Amber winks and smiles and everything Draco could think off.

As they were sitting in Astronomy, luckily for Draco taught to both fifth and sixth years, Draco ripped a small piece of paper from his parchment. He took a second to gather his thoughts and then wrote: Astronomy tower, 9 pm. Draco. He turned around at Blaise, whom was sitting behind him. He whispered something quick and Blaise nodded taking the piece of parchment and reaching out to the table besides him, careful not to get noticed by professor Sinistra.

Blaise: Psst, Amber, here. For you.

Amber looked confused and took the paper hesitantly. However, after unfolding the paper and seeing Draco's name and the message, her face broke out into a huge smile.

Ginny had been watching Draco, so she'd seen him whisper at Blaise and nod to Amber. When Amber received the paper, she showed it to ginny enthusiastically. Ginny read it and her head shot up to meet Draco's already staring eyes. Ginny's face looked angry.

Ginny: What are you doing?

Ginny mouthed to Draco. Draco then raised his eyebrow, shrugged his shoulders and looked back to the front. This enraged Ginny.
