Kazuma opens his eyes and stares at the white moon in the sky and he can't help but laugh.
Not because he just got his but kicked by the woman that's inside the disk or because Shiki is running away from said woman while screaming like a girl but because he understands that he can't go back anymore.
He digs his fingers into the white sand and begins to turn it into energy so that his injuries heal faster.
"I'm Kazuma Sato, I'm a loser that didn't leave his room and didn't go to school for years."
"I'm Kazuma Sato, the Millionnare Adventurers.
'I'm Kazuma Sato, I am an Adventurer and I don't know what that means here but I know that it's what I am."
'Masaki, Shiki that's enough for today, we have school tomorrow!" Kazuma yells to his new teammates who stop running and turn to look at him.
'Come on." Masaki says to Shiki as she makes her wings vanish and the bow she was using to hunt Shiki disappears before she leads Shiki to where Kazuma is laying.
"Waite so what was that about?" Shiki asks Masaki, but he keeps his distance even as he walks behind her.
"What was what about?" she asks Shki.
"You were trying to kill me and you just nearly killed Kazuma." Shiki says to Masaki.
'I was training you if you haven't noticed you're already in Highschool, so you aren't anywhere near ready to be here in this world, much less defend yourself if something like what you saw earlier tonight attacks you." Masaki says to Shiki but she never bothers to turn and look at him.
"So you were training us?" Shiki asks Masaki, but Masaki doesn't answer him.
"Hey" Kazuma says to them as they stand over him.
"What's with the glare?" he asks Masaki who puts her hands on her skirt.
'We are going to have a long talk." Masaki says to Kazuma, her voice carrying every ounce of anger that just reawakened after seeing him arrogantly smiling at her and their new teammate.
"In my defense, I have no control over what I steal from people." Kazuma says to her and Masaki can't help but step on Kazumas chest causing him to laugh while saying how much she's hurting him.
"Hey stop your."
'What?" Shiki says as he looks around and finds himself inside an unfamiliar apartment.
"This is where we live." Kazuma says to him as he struggles to breathe.
"Shiki, after today it's up to you if you want to stay with us or if you want to go your own way, but a word of advice take advantage that you have us to train you." Kazuma says to Shiki as he grabs Masaki's leg and stops her from bringing it back down.
"Kazuma what are you?" Shiki asks him.
'Me I'm an Adventurer, think of me like a mercenary that does whatever jobs I can find to pay the bills."
'Masaki she is or was a Quincy and your one of us now." Kazuma says to Shiki as he points at the sword in his hands.
"Power calls upon power, it's not a coincidence that you found us, the moment that you got whatever power that card of yours gave you your fate was sealed."
"So if you hadn't met us, you would have either met a monster or someone else with powers." Kazuma says to Shiki before he turns and looks at Masaki, who lets out a breath and nods.
Shiki lifts his sword and removes its guard causing the sword to turn back into a bow and the guard to turn back into his card.
"I just want to see the other worlds, not fight monsters?." Shiki says to himself.
"Too bad because you can't have one without the other." Kazuma says to Shiki.
'I don't want it." Shiki says to Kazuma as he throws the bow on the floor and runs towards the closest door, which happens to be the door that leads outside.
"Kazuma." Masaki says to Kazuma s she pulls her leg away from him and lets him stand up.
"Theres several choices that we all have to make."
"Do we want to be normal people? Do we want to get stronger? and what do we want to do with that power?" Kazuma says to Masaki as he stands up and looks out of the window.
"Unfortunately for him, he's already made those choices even if he doesn't know it yet."
In two separate worlds two beings that are completely unaware of each other open their eyes at the same time, in another time neither would have even come into contact with the other, but fate is strange and it has just become stranger.
