Okay, so more good news, my truck gets out of the shop tomorrow. And lets just say its going to handle a LOT better now, so old Ruby is gonna pull through! And for the record, no I did not name her Ruby after Ruby Rose, I named her Ruby because she's red, and I didn't even know about the show when I got her.

Some more good news. Just did one of those 'Coins to cash' machines. And got about 200 back, its going into my 'Alaskan move' account. If you ever think its stupid to pick up every piece of loose change you see, just do it. Trust me, you would be surprised at how much you will get back.

Other than that, life is good!

Winter yawned again as she noticed that Jem and her had shared the tent again. This time he was fully aware of it. But much to her delight. He had also inadvertently cuddled her again in his sleep. This time however it was a little different. Rather than spooning her from behind, this time he had put his arm around her in his sleep, causing her to lay her head on his chest. She had to admit, even though she found it weird to be cuddling with someone she wasn't dating yet. It was strangely comforting. She may have still been confused about her feelings, but this pleasant sensation she was getting from cuddles was amazing. She was just glad Jem didn't snore, if he snored she probably would have stabbed him by now.

"Mmmmm." Jem groaned in his sleep as he turned to face Winter face to face.

She blushed as she realized how close his face was to hers. She would not lose her composure, but she would admit, she felt nervous all of a sudden. It wasn't uncommon that she would feel nervous. The only thing that was getting to her was that this was her first crush and she didn't really know how to deal with this. She thought back to some of the tv shows and anime she had watched on Netflix back at the house.

How did the characters always react?

"PERVERT!" She heard a female yell as she heard the sound of some poor guy getting launched into the stratosphere.

She cringed at the thought. No way in hell she was doing that?

Actually, now that she thought about it, what the hell was up with female anime characters and abusing the hell out of their love interests? Seriously it was messed up.

Shaking her head about anime abusing male protagonists. She thought to some of the sitcoms she had watched.

"Don't listen to him! He's a guy! Guys only think with their penises!" Okay that was also some bad advice.

Now that she thought about it, taking advice from tv shows about relationships was a horrible idea. Almost as dumb as thinking Joker and Harley Quinn were couple goals. She shook her head of the thoughts, and decided she was going to borrow a phrase from Jem.

She was going to wing it.

However, she knew one thing to be true.

This wasn't a bad tv show, so she wasn't going to kiss Jem for a couple of reasons.

1. How creepy would it be to kiss a guy without knowing how he feels?

2. He was sleeping, which added to the creep factor.

3. She was a proper lady

4. She heard rustling at the entrance to the tent.

"GOOOOOOOD MORNING!" Alex said as Jem shot awake.

"WOAH!" He yelled as once again, he was completley oblivious to the fact he was cuddling Winter.

And once again, Winter was bummed out at the lack of warmth from cuddles.

"Woo Jem! I'm surprised, you're usually up and yelling 'We're burning daylight!' by now!" Alex said as Jem grumbled.

"I'm on vacation, and more importantly." He checked his watch.

"I usually wake up about thirty minutes from now to watch the sunrise." He said as Alex chuckled.

"More importantly, what are you doing up so early? Usually you're still knocked out?" Jem asked as Alex giggled.

In reality, he had sense a disturbance in the shipping force, and he ran out to see that Winter and Jem were once again cuddling. Alex was ecstatic! Another point for Winter! Elm was going to have a hard time recovering from this! But...he stopped and thought for a moment, despite the fact that he was overly paranoid about the whole situation, he didn't actually think Elm was interested in Jem, so it didn't make sense to keep score.

But on the off chance that Elm WAS interested in Jem, he was going to keep score.

"Ugh, five more minutes." Winter heard another voice in the tent.

"Wait..." Alex suddenly turned his head.

Only to see Elm over by Jem's other side.

"Oh crap." He said as Elm sat up.

"Huh? What the? what are you guys doing in here?" Elm asked as she looked around.

"Huh, what you mean?" Jem asked as he couldn't help but notice Elm looked so adorable as she wiped the sleep from her eyes.

"This is my tent." She said as Winter and Jem both looked around.

Sure enough, they noticed that the tent they were sleeping in was much bigger than the one they had slept in the night before. Not only that, but Elm's stuff and clothes were scattered all about.

"Uhm...you know I have no idea how we ended up in here." Jem said as he was confused.

"Ugh, okay no harm, but geez, I picked the big tent because I like to have a lot of space to sleep in, I'm a big girl you know?" She said as she stretched her arms above her head.

Which helped her breasts pop out which caused Jem to blush, and Winter to glare.

Alex was glaring as well, there was NO way she wasn't doing this on purpose! But he still couldn't believe it! It took Jem ages to have Winter start to feel something for him. There was absolutely no way that Elm would like Jem right off the bat! She had no reason to!

...

Did she? Alex searched his brain for any possible thing.

But nothing came to mind!

It was almost like this came out of nowhere!

"Well, I think its about time we all woke up." Winter said as she didn't want to have Jem looking at Elm's body any longer.

The fact that she was in a pair of pajama pants and a sports bra was not helping.

"Huh, you seem awfully calm about seeing two other people in your tent." Alex said as usually most women would be freaking out by now.

"It was a honest mistake, this isn't some crappy anime where its a simple misunderstanding and someone gets the shit kicked out of them." Elm said as Winter had it click in her head.

She was literally thinking about that a few minutes ago! How is it that they had the same thought pro-

"I know right? It's like 'Oh, something happened that has an easy explanation? Maybe I should think this through before I act!' But nope its always 'KILL HIM! PERVERT! MURDER! DESTROY!" Jem said as Winter went silent.

Uh oh...she missed an opportunity.

"I know right? If you didn't know any better you would think the writers had some weird masochist fetish, I don't kink shame, but its ridiculous what qualifies as a love story with some of those animes. It's like they've never had a healthy relationship in their life, and you feel bad for them."

"I know right? I mean, I'm not an expert, maybe its a cultural thing, but at the same time, it just seems weird that its a popular idea to have the female protagonists be violent psychos with absolutely no critical thinking skills. But what makes it even worse is they'll have characters who are fantastic, they're not overly complex, but they're not overly generic, and you would like to see the main character with them, but then the author decides 'Nope fuck you, hero gets with the psycho girl at the end.'" Jem said as Winter cursed under her breath.

Those two went from talking about gym tips to talking about bad romance anime.

Alex however got depressed as he brought the scoreboard back into his mind.

"Winter 4...Elm 4...I mean I don't know, I'm pretty sure its a tie. But I have no idea anymore." Alex groaned.

This was going to be harder than he thought.

Again guys, sorry for the short chapters. Work is kind of picking up, so I'm pumping these out in about ten minutes so I can put something out for you guys. As you can see, the recent chapters are pretty much filler.

Some of you are asking if Jem is going to end up with Elm. And I thought I already answered that question in earlier chapters.

No.

But, lets just say I have some plans.

Also Again, this is NOT going to be a poly fic, I keep getting PMs about that. And look, if you want a poly relationship, I don't give a damn. But I personally DO NOT believe in it. Monogamy is the way to go. And as I said before, I don't want to write something that doesn't reflect my values in real life.
