Okay guys, so I've been busy. Tomorrow is the start of October, and I usually do a lot for this time of the year. Haunted houses, corn mazes, hiking through parks as the leaves change, halloween, horror movie marathons. So I'm having a great time.

Also I don't care if its basic, I love pumpkin spice and apple cider.

Anyways, so I was thinking the direction I want to take this story, and I was thinking of something, and I think I'm going to do something different than what I had planned.

I don't plan on turning this back into a crack fic. But there will be some crack moments. But they will build up to something important.

Don't you worry. I enjoy writing regular fics better than crack now.

Earth

"FINALLY!" Winter was a little anxious to see Jem again.

"I'm ready to go!" Nala said as she had a large backpack full of stuff.

"Nala, whats in the bag."

"Well, I don't know how long we'll be there! So I packed a bit of everything!" She said as she had survival equipment, rations, extra ammunition and a lot of other wonderful things.

"Are those really necessary?" Winter asked as she saw Ma and Pa had their guns.

"Yes. We don't know if they're hostile." Pa said as Blake interjected.

"They won't like the idea of humans carrying weapons..." She pointed out.

"We'll just say we're huntsman." Okay well, its not like anyone could ask for proof.

Besides Remnant was practically disneyland for Americans. Everything was a gun, and open carry seemed to be encouraged. So they were certain they would be just fine.

"Okay, the device is ready." Ironwood said as he stared everyone down.

"THIS time, I'm going to keep the portal open, the only reason it shut so suddenly last time was because of that idiot cousin of yours knocking the device out of Jem's hand and shutting the sequence down." He said as Ironwood was just sick of this shit already.

It was bad enough that he had lost Winter to them in the first place. It was bad enough that it took months to get this whole situation figured out. It was bad enough that even after finally getting a hold of them that they had even more crazy shit to take care of before they could relax. And cherry on top, he found out he was a dictator in the future. Life had not been fun for the general at all. He still couldn't believe his personality would change so much. He knew he could be harsh, but ordering mantle to be destroyed just to get Penny back? It made no sense! He was looking forward to going back to Atlas and taking a long leave of Abscence when this was all over. Jem was right about one thing, he could plan ahead and they could hopefully rewrite the future.

"I don't know, I got a really weird feeling about this." Nora was feeling weirder than normal.

She was looking forward to going back home. But she had the feeling that stuff was about to get a lot more complicated than she thought.

ZHOOOOMMMMM

The portal opened with a bright flash of blue light.

"You know, no matter how many times we do that, its still cool." Ozpin said as something went wrong.

They saw the portal flash green for a second.

And saw an old man and a young boy.

"GODDAMIT MORTY! GIVE ME THAT BACK!" Suddenly the green portal went away with everyone wondering if they had actually seen that.

"Did...did anyone else see that?" Ruby asked as she could have sworn she saw two other people.

"It's a normal thing. Sometimes the portal picks up frequencies from other realities." Ozpin said as everyone stared at him slack jawed.

"Wait...you mean to tell me there are more realities than this?" Jaune asked as that could mean endless possibilities!

"To make a long story short, yes, but we're not going down that road! It's too dangerous and frankly too much of a hassle." Ironwood didn't even want to think about the multiverse.

Shit was already complicated enough.

"Alright, Ace ops you go first. Followed by the teams, Ozpin and I will be the last to go along with Glynda." Ironwood had honestly completely forgotten Glynda was here as well.

The plan went ahead as planned. Ozpin and Ironwood were making sure the portal was stable while everyone crossed over. The last thing they wanted to do was possibly causes a ridiculous shift in the space time continuum and fuck up the whole experiment.

"Alright, should be good to go." Ironwood said as they suddenly heard a battle cry.

"I'M HERE TO SAVE YOU!" AJ screamed out as he was dressed in cheap cosplay armor as a goth girl followed closely behind face palming at his stupidity.

"Jesus Christ, that cheap cosplay armor you got off True Swords is not practical armor!" Melania was seriously regretting this partnership.

Ironwood knowing he had to act quick, immediately pressed the button on the device to close the portal. He knew the last thing he wanted was AJ messing everything up again! He had no idea who the girl was, but he had a good feeling he didn't want to stick around and find out.

"NO!" AJ screamed as he ran towards the portal.

Ironwood stepped through it, and the portal started to shrink.

"COME ON!" He screeched as he dragged Melania by the hand.

"Don't you dare touch me you stupid bast-" The portal turned green as both of them disappeared into it.

On Menagerie

"Wait..." Ironwood said as he did a quick look around.

He breathed out a sigh of relief as he realized the two must not have made it through the portal.

"Thank the gods, that could have been bad.

AJ

"AAAHHHH!" Aj was screaming as he was going through an unstable wormhole.

He was spinning in circles as all he could see was flashes of light passing by him like light speed on the millennium falcon. He didn't understand, why didn't he see Ironwood or any of the others? Why did everyone else seem so calm going through, but he was on a rollercoaster ride? It wasn't making any sense. On top of that, his cheap cosplay armor had already flown away. And all he had left on him was the katana he bought at anime expo for fifty dollars. And he was holding onto that for dear life, he knew it was his only method of defense against Jem if it came to that.

"OOOHHH SHIT!" AJ saw a light at the end of the tunnel.

"AAHHH!" He screamed as he felt himself hit solid dirt.

He felt like crying a bit as he realized he belly flopped onto solid ground. But instead he turned over and let out a groan. He still had his katana with him. But his armor was completely gone.

"Ugh, where am I?" He said as he looked around only to see vast desert.

"Oh crap..." He took a look around.

This wasn't Menagerie. And he didn't see any of the other characters around.

"But if I'm not in Menagerie, I must be in..." Suddenly he heard a loud rumbling.

And he turned around to see a sandstorm coming this way.

"Oh crap...I'm in Vacuo!"

Melania

"Ugh, when I marry Jem, I'm going to kill that stupid cousin of his! Even if he is one of us!" Melania couldn't believe she felt this much hatred towards a fellow furry.

Usuallys he had no problem with her furrykin or otherkin. But this guy was more trouble than he was worth. The idiot actually believe that his cosplay armor would stand up to anything! And if that wasn't bad enough, he was carrying that stupid cheap katana thinking it would be enough. The fact that he even had one of those in the first place just showed how much of a weeb he was. She rolled her eyes at the thought.

She knew she was a weeb, but at least she wasn't as obsessed with the katana as she used to be. After Jem had given her that history lesson back in the bar that night, she had been studying other cultures weaponry as a way of impressing him. And she learned that while the katana was a fine weapon, it didn't mean it was perfect. She scoffed as she remembered the days that she thought it could cut through anything.

Her journey through the wormhole was the same as AJ, but she was taking the time to look around.

"OH NO WAY!" She geeked out a little as she saw something in the distance.

A blue police call box.

"OH WAIT COME BACK!" She yelled as it disappeared.

Despite being pissed at AJ. She couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. Wormhole travel was something that was supposed to be impossible! And yet here she was flying through space and time. And she had just seen something she had only dreams about. It got her thinking.

If the multiverse was real, how many fictional worlds were real? Was she about to see the millennium falcon or the starship enterprise?

Her question was soon answered as she saw time and space slown down just enough to show her.

And her face paled as she realized what she was seeing.

A large black ship with a white cross on it. That radiated nothing but pure contempt.

The eternal crusader.

"OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT!" Suddenly Melania didn't feel too good.

"PLEASE GOD GET ME OUT OF HERE!" She begged in her mind as she knew what they would do to her if they caught her.

Her prayers were answered as she saw a light at the end of the tunnel.

And soon eough the nightmare was over.

She landed on soft green grass.

"Oh thank god!" She said as she kissed the ground.

She looked up to try and get her bearings.

"Hmmmm." She looked around.

"Large city...and...oh...oh wow." She trailed off as she looked up to see a floating city in the sky.

"Alright then, I'm in Mantle." She could not believe this.

She was all alone, no weapon, water or food.

She was going to kill AJ the next time she saw him.
