Okay guys, So I take my Law enforcement entry test soon. Now some of you are like "Wait what? You mentioned Ruby Ridge and all these other anti government things, but you want to be a cop?"

I still support local law enforcement, but I do have a problem with federal agencies like the FBI, ATF, CIA, NSA, etc etc. They're far too powerful and for the past few decades, barring a few cases, they've royally shit the bed on multiple occassions. Not just Ruby Ridge or Waco, but also recently with how the FBI completely fucked up the sex abuse investigation for the olympic gymnasts.

Jem

"Damn this is awesome." Jem was unloading dust round after dust round into a training dummy.

He wanted to keep his regular ammunition to himself. So he was testing Ruby Ridge with dust rounds he borrowed from Ruby.

"Hey Ruby can I borrow dust rounds?"

"How in the hell are you gonna borrow rounds?! What are you gonna give them back?!"

She hadn't been too thrilled at the idea when it came to her giving up ammunition. But she relented when he told her that she would get to see her new creation in action. So far it had been pretty successful. Both Semi auto and fully auto worked like a charm. But Jem was disappointed with full auto. While it was a blast, and would be helpful if he ever needed to lay down suppressive fire. He didn't have large enough magazines to really make a difference. It was just like any regular M4 he used in the army, where going full auto would exhaust a thirty round mag just like that. So he had to make a note to either make bigger mags or see if any dust shops had any larger mags.

He wanted to buy the 100 round AR drums he saw in a Magpul ad. But he was always too cheap to buy them.

Either way, this weapon was kick ass.

He did end up testing the grenade launcher. And it worked like a charm. But that was the end of the good things about it. As Jem had suspected. It was just a regular grenade launcher, it wouldn't automatically reload, and using it meant that Jem would have to reload another round after each use. In other words, it was just a regular weapon in terms of practicality. He figured he could always have a small bandolier full of grenade rounds to use. But that would create another set of problems. How many should he carry at one time? How much was too much? How heavy were the 40mm rounds here? Until he knew all the details, he wouldn't use the grenade launcher.

Everything else was still pretty bad ass.

"Ruby, you have really outdone yourself." He said as he walked over to her with a smile on his face.

"Well, all I did was keep it simple while also trying to make it more dangerous. And the best way to do that was to have simple attachments that you would be familiar with and not completely overwhelming you with gear.

"I appreciate that, I don't think I could handle gun nunchuks or a trumpet that shoots lasers or whatever the fuck Coal had." Jem still didn't really understand how that weapon worked.

"Oh also before I forget, it also has a compact feature so you don't have to shoulder it all the time." Ruby said as Jem smiled.

"Sweet! So I won't have to constantly have it slinged? How do I activate it?" He asked as Ruby walked over to him.

"Just press this button and...here we go!"

KA CHUNK

She stepped back and smiled.

But Jem's face was blank.

"Ruby..." He asked slowly.

"Yes Jem?" She asked as he looked up at her like she was joking.

"It's a fanny pack..." Sure enough right there down by his belt was a red fanny pack.

"Yeeaaahhhh, about that." She rubbed the back of her head.

"You see, your weapon isn't as big as crescent rose, so turned it into a backpack wouldn't work, so I went with something smaller." She said as Jem glared.

"Ruby...ITS A FANNY PACK." As if that was reason enough to hate it.

"Look Jem, Think of it this way, no one expects the guy with the fanny pack to be packing heat." She said trying to appeal to Jem's sense of reason.

That got him to paused. He remembered his conceal carry class. The very first date, the instructor who was a former state trooper walked in with a fanny pack. Naturally all of the other students thought he looked like a jackoff. But it wasn't until he pulled out his full size glock 19 and two little derringers that they realized why he wore the fanny pack. Because it had enough room for his guns as well as some spare mags.

"Okay fine."

He pushed the main part of the fanny pack over to the side of his belt and then walked over and picked up a jacket.

"What are you doing?" Ruby asked as he made it so you couldn't see his fanny pack.

"I'm concealing it."

"It's already concealed in the fanny pack!"

"Hey, I may be confident, but I am still too insecure to rock a fanny pack!"

Ruby rolled her eyes at him.

"Jesus, Its a fanny pack not a dress!"

"I don't care, I'm not that confident yet!"

Ruby just threw her hands up and walked away. Now she knew how her sister felt when she had to convince her to wear high heels. But that was different! That was for something that Ruby couldn't walk in. This was just a belt bag!

"Okay Jem, think about it like this, old school bodybuilders used to store their steroids in their fanny packs, does that help you feel better?" Ruby tried to convince him to stop hiding himself away.

"Uh, no. I may admire old school bodybuilders, but I'm natural all the way, so them putting steroids in their packs doesn't make me want to come out loud and proud." Again, Ruby rolled her eyes.

"You make it sound like you're coming out of the closet."

"Nope, because if I came out as gay my parents would still love me, but if I end up coming out wearing a fanny pack they'll probably disown me."
