Okay guys

1. I'm taking another break from fanfiction, so this chapter will be short.

2. I'm reading 'Industrial Society and its future' And its an interesting read despite the fact it was written by the unabomber. And the eerie thing is realizing how many things he actually predicted.

3. Something I always wonder, if it wasn't for the internet, would you still be the same person you are today? Is your current personality an amalgamation of the youtubers you thought were cool combined with your peers you tried to fit in with? How much of your personality do you think would have stayed the same if you had NEVER had access to the internet during your developing years? I'm honestly curious.

Emerald had never wanted to kill someone more than she did now. That small hiatus while letting the teams rest up and prepare for the doubles rounds had been a godsend. But now she was amongst the drunken crowd again. And they were having the time of their lives. You would expect to see a few angry fans here and there, but instead they were all drinking and having a gay ol time. This did not bode well for their plans. While there was still the plan to trick Yang into attacking Mercury, this crowd was not ideal for negative emotions. They were all merry and happy. And if the crowd was too drunk to notice then they wouldn't care if Yang attacked him, meaning they wouldn't get all the fear and anger from watching a student attack another one for no reason.

And that one idiot right behind her was driving her crazy.

First he had them chanting 'Let's go Brandon!'

Then for some reason he gave a ten minute speech on how Miller High Life was the champagne of beers.

Then for some reason they started screaming 'Go Pack Go'. She didn't even know what that meant!

She swore to god that man who started this whole crazy crowd was doing this to piss her intentionally!

"Hey! Hey you! Hey you two!" The man yelled as Mercury turned around.

"What?!" He yelled.

"Your girlfriends hairstyle looks like a dick head!" He yelled as Mercury stood up and was going to say something.

But then he thought about it.

"Why do I care about Emerald's hairstyle? And she's not my girlfriend!" He gagged at the thought.

Emerald was pissed to hear that the man insulted her hair but she was even more pissed when she noticed how Mercury was now staring at the back of her head.

"Hehe...it kind of does." Mercury said as Emerald glared at him.

"Mercury, when this is all over, after I'm done killing him, I'm gonna kill you." She whispered to him.

Jem just beamed in pride.

Sometimes being a dick was fun.

Meanwhile outside the stadium

Another cloaked figure was outside the stadium. They were told their target was here. They looked down at a watch they had strapped to their wrist. If their scheduling was correct, then the doubles rounds should start soon. They would need to get into position before that time.

You could see the figure clutch their fist as they were ready for this whole thing to kick off.
