Okay guys, So I know its been a while since I updated. But I got some good news. Basically the state of Illinois was claiming I owed Taxes to them over some BS back in 2014. I thought this issue was resolved, but they came back again...and turns out not only were they wrong, but those guys owed ME money. I was laughing my ass off all the way to the bank. So what did I do with the money I got back from the state?

I gave Pritzker the big ol middle finger and bought an HK USP 45 and a Lee Enfield Mark 3.

But now comes my main question, I can conceal carry the HK, but do I want to get an actual holster for it? Or do I want to buy a fanny pack for it? What do you think?

Also again, the chapter won't be that long. Because this is just to put something out. Because honestly dudes, I've been enjoying the break away from fanfiction.

Oh one more thing.

FUCK HR 1808

Jem

"Is he doing okay?" Jaune asked as Jem almost seemed to be sulking.

"He'll be fine, he's just a little disappointed its all over." Winter said as Jaune seemed to balk.

"He was on that turret for hours. Hasn't he had enough?"

"Apparently not." Winter added as Jem seemed to be breathing out a sigh of disappointment.

"I could have killed so many grimm..." Jem couldn't help but be disappointed at his body count.

According to Winter he had killed a lot of Grimm and they had evacuated everyone they could. But he couldn't help but feel like he could have done more. Not out of some sense of 'I didn't do my job.' But just that there were so many Grimm and he only got to kill so many. It was one of the best feelings he had ever had when he was gunning them down like John Basilone.

"So where to now?" Jaune asked as Winter typed in a destination.

"The General wants us all to report to Atlas, you all will be sent home temporarily on a two week pass, Jem and I will return to Atlas." Winter did miss Nala and hope that Reggie was looking out for her.

Meanwhile with Nala

"And this Nala is the FAL battle rifle." Reggie was currently sitting across from Nala as he was going over the basics of his rifle.

Nala absolutely adored her Grandpa Reggie. He had given her a cool camouflage outfit and now he was teaching her how to use his rifle and basic survival skills! She learned how to make rope from tree bark, and where to find any source of water and purify it even if it looked like it had been through a garbage disposal. If she had known some of these tricks when she was living on the streets of menagerie, she would have been living like a king!

"How come it only holds 20 rounds when Daddy's holds 30?" Nala pointed out.

"Well thats simple, bigger bullets means less room." He said as Nala tilted her head.

"But doesn't that also mean more weight? Wouldn't it be better to have a lighter round and carry more with less weight, than a bigger round with less rounds and more weight?" She asked as Reggie just made a neutral hand sign.

"Its shooters preference. Although I'm surprised you're already making that argument."

"Dad and I sometimes watch Gun documentaries." She said as Reggie chuckled.

"Oh my dear girl, there is still so much you need to learn." He said as she got behind the FAL as he helped her point it downrange.

"Now remember, rifle butt strong against your shoulder, aim down the sights, and a nice slow trigger pull, don't jerk it, just slow and smooth through the whole movement." He said as he enjoyed his new granddaughter.

God knows he was worried he wasn't going to get any grandchildren at all.

He was convinced Jem was gay for the longest time because he would always wear tight clothing and talk about 'Catching a pump with the boys.'

He knew it had to do with the gym, but it sounded awfully sexual.
