Hello everyone! I am back, crazy I know? its been what 1 or 2 months by now yes I know that is kinda a long time but hopfully I can fix my update scedule and hurry up some more chapters and yes im gonna try to get this story to 100K words and maybe even more than that but hey what did you guys think of last chapter? I didn't exactly love writing that one but it was alright, anyhow I'll see ya later like maybe? At the end of this chapter?

SeaWeed POV:

I saw Coyote sneak out of our cave I had been awake almost all night not for any reason in particular, just couldn't fall asleep.

I slipped out quickly behind him Coyote being none the wiser. As Coyote went past the Gold Winglet Artic stuck out her head looked past at Coyote then back at me. She gave me a. "Do you know whats happening with him?" Look I shrugged in return as Coyote turned around the corner.

Coyote POV:

It seemed SeaWeed and Artic were following me I gave them no hints that I knew I did, though. I guess they thought I was that dense or something which slightly insulted me but I had a mission right now.

I needed to find those scrolls I was the reason dragons have gotten hurt Almost killed.

Like with that DragonFlame Cactus. I know I have seen those scrolls before the ones that seemed to be where the mystery NightWing's lair was and what it looked like on the other one.

But now I had to get SeaWeed and Artic off my tail.

They were my friends but I had something to do that they could not help with. As I walked I thought. How exactly was I gonna do this?

I ended up just going with the flow. But then I realized that attack team the Sunny mentioned they would probably have the scrolls.

That's when I made my plan the first step was still loosing my friends I didn't think I could just make a few turns I needed a trick.

I made a quick turn and flew up about 20 feet and held onto a stalagmite just on the roof. It was wet and musty but it got the job done.

I looked down. "Where'd he go?" Seaweed seemed to yell as he was looking around confused.

"Yeah your right he just dissapered?" Artic replied. "What is he half Rainwing?" She said turning to SeaWeed he started to laugh. SeaWeed has pretty simple humor I guess.

Then they walked on leaving me still hanging. I had no idea how they didn't think to look up.

I jumped down when they both left and headed to the most obivous place the group would be. The Cliff. I glanced around the corner leading to the Cliff yep they were there.

About 5 or 6 dragons with Tsunami at the head they had armour and weapons like swords and knives.

I watched for awhile while they were getting ready they counted each other off, polished weapons and made a few jokes.

Finally they left I waited till I could just see them when I made my move and followed them.

That's when I heard it thunder the clouds began to darken and I almost fell out of the air in fear. I had been deathly afraid of thunder since I was young for one I wasn't used to it it rarley rained in the Kingdom Of Sand and two thunder came with lightning I had seen a dragon fryed out of the air. Sure when we took him in he healed fine at my house but while he was recovering he looked awful.

I didn't know if I could do this. Then a boom sounded near me and I saw a spear of light come down and strike the ground I yelped as I flew to the side.

Another boom this time I felt a heat in my shoulder like no other and my eyes flashed black as I felt the ground coming at me...

The first time I woke up light shined in my eyes I felt like Ive been hit by a mudwing hundreds of times.

I felt like I was in a hammock laying my head on my scarf I couldn't look around on account of the pain it was so bad I passed out again.

Next time I woke up I noticed quickly that the pain in my shoulder was a bit better and didn't hurt as bad. Still in the hammock I was able to look around a little more the sun was almost setting which made me realize just how long I've been out.

I was surrounded by various tables and bottles the tables and items were arragned to kinda look like a circle. That's when I noticed two SandWings one about my age and the other one I'd say around ten or so years old.

"Glad your awake." The older one said coming closer a friendly expression on his face dispite this I jumped up and landed in a defensive position except as soon as I landed.

I crumpled the pain in my shoulder exploded back. I lay on the ground clutching my shoulder I didn't want to look but I did.

It was horrible a bunch of blackened and red flesh almost as bad as the dragon my family took care of. Hopefully this could be fixed. The older SandWing came up and faced me on the ground.

"Woah we don't bite don't worry." He said in a friendly tone I gave him a skeptical look.

"W-What happend?" I asked all I remembered was the pain from the lighting but how did I end up here?

"Well we saw you get struck and go down in a firey mess." He said motioning to the other dragon I hadn't gotten a good look at them till now. It seemed to be a female and yeah now I could definitley tell she was my age.

"Any how I'm Cobra and this is Scarab she's my sister." Scarab hid behind her brother. "We live here on our own under the trees."

Cobra added. Funny how he could have such a creepy name but such a kind personality.

"So you don't even have a shelter?" I asked I didn't really understand what he was saying.

"As I said the trees are our shelter." He replied looking above. Thats when I remebered I needed to get back.

"How long was I out?" I asked quickly I wanted to hear the answer but was afraid all the same. Cobra looked a bit uncomfortable.

"About twelve hours?" He replied sheepishly. Holy crap. I needed to get back right now.

"Uh Well thanks for the help but I need to get back." I lifted off Cobra said something but I didn't notice as I fell back down. Yeah I wasn't going anywhere soon.

"That's what I was trying to tell you." Cobra said. He sighed. "You need at least a day or two more to heal then you'll be able to move properly." He continued my stomach dropped. Days!? I cant just stay here for that long.

"Well what am I supposed to do?" I asked Cobra all I got was a shrug in response.

"You can stay here untill your better if you want." He told me I couldn't think of a better idea so I nodded still reluctant to actually have to stay here with these strangers.

I followed Cobra untill we reached a pile of some animals that seemed to have just been killed. He motioned to it and I took a bite this is when I realized just how hungry I had become.

Scarab took a bit then slunk off behind her brother I didn' know if she was afraid of me or what but she was turning out to be a confusing dragon.

Cobra let me lay back down on the hammock. I fell asleep quickly. I was awoken by the first rays of sun. My shoulder had a dull ache. It looked much better but still something you wouldn't want to look at for long.

I flipped out of my hammock I tested my wings and I could fly! I debated with myself if I should just leave now but ended up staying until the other two woke up they did take care of me after all.

"Oh hey man out of bed early?" A voice sounded behind me turning around it was Cobra. "How's the wing feeling?" He asked.

"Yeah it is, I just tested it out so I think I'm gonna go" I said lifting off the ground a bit. Cobra nodded in response.

"Hey why don't we meet up sometime?" He asked. I thought it was a good idea and I nodded turning back to JMA. Coming closer to JMA I saw A group of dragons from where I was I couldn't tell who they were just that it was a few SkyWings and a SeaWing.

A SkyWing yelled something while looking at me and the SeaWing got real exicted. The SeaWing came at me quickly while the other dragons flew back to the Cliff.

"Where have you been!?" The dragon turned out to be SeaWeed I thought for a second I didn't really know where I had been just a small outcropping in the woods.

"Uh long story." I replied. That's when SeaWeed grabbed me and started dragging me through the air I just let it happen I kinda deserved it. Walking through the hallways there were a few oohs and ahs like everyone had just seen a ghost. Maybe they had.

When we got to our Winglet I saw Arctic, Star, Seal, Mountain, Rain and of course SeaWeed stood there.

"You'd better start talking." SeaWeed said an annoyed look on his face. I nodded and thought about what I was gonna say.

"Uh so I was out, doing something when the storm hit..." I paused. "Lightning was everywhere and of course I nicked me." I said looking at the burn wound which was now bandaged thanks to Cobra. Most of the faces in the room dropped. Guess they didn't notice it till then.

"How are you alive?" Arctic asked slowly a worried expression on her face. SeaWeed stepped forward the others stayed silent.

"Some dragons living in the woods found me and took care of me for about a day. I couldn't fly for a bit because of the injury which is why I was missing." I finished waiting for their reaction.

"You need to rest dude" SeaWeed cut in before anyone else could say anything he pretty much pushed everyone out to leave me by myself. Now that I thought about it I was pretty tired so I thought I might as well take his advice and rest for a while. I hopped onto the ledge over SeaWeed area and laid down not bothering to remove my scarf. I let the darkness wash over me before I fully blacked out I heard SeaWeed yelling at someone.

HOLY I actually got this done I thought I was gonna give up but I guess not now. It's been what? A few months by now and for that I am so sorry despite this not exactly being a hard chapter to write I lacked the will to write it which ended up making it take forever hopefully I can get more chapters out now that I'm coming back to this story and get to the goal of 100K words right? Anyway I'll see you guys later and remember if you want more chapters out leave a review they are the best motivation.
