Chapter 3

Downtown Dimmesdale was a dump and had been for decades. Even when he was a kid this place sucked. It was expensive, crime ridden filled with homelessness. On top of that most of the downtown had died as thousands of people and business had been leaving the city for a few decades now. So there was a lot of empty office space across this part of the city. Timmy was glad his parents weren't dumb enough to move to this part of town. This portion of downtown was rather cramped with a one way street, large sidewalks, and a few trees. Overhanging stop lights and large steel buildings with a few homes and apartments scattered throughout. On one particular strip mall made out of brick containing 5 different stores and a small shared parking lot. This place always had this aura of overwhelmingness with very little personal space. In the small strip mall was Timmy's location, one of the 12 Los Smoothies locations. Los Smoothies was a local milkshake chain native to only Dimmesdale and very expensive. With a small smoothie costing $12 meanwhile other chains sell a small smoothie for $5. Its mascot was a giant green smoothie wearing a sombrero. Tammy would love this place, Timmy thought to himself.

It was a small shop no bigger than 800 square feet in size. The walls were painted with various aquatic fish with labels to show the different flavors. It had a small counter with a rather modest size selection of flavors, a few tables and chairs. There were two employees working and a few people who were ordering. The floor was made out of standard tile with a decent natural light coming through. It was a nice place, just too expensive and out of the way. Timmy took a seat and pulled out his phone and sent Chloe a quick text message. As his conversation went on a man's voice broke his attention, "Turner is that you? I must say I haven't seen you in quite some time, old friend." Looking up from his phone Timmy looked at the man as it took him quite some time to recognize the person.

Standing in front of him was a man slightly shorter than him. Wearing a refined white tuxedo with a red lapel on his right breast. Blonde hair, green eyes and wore a red tie to boot. On his hands were golden rings worth more than Timmy and Chloe's house combined. "Remy Buxeplenty?" Timmy asked the man who he hadn't seen since high school whose friendship had ended on a rather sour note. Chloe would blow a gasket if she saw him. He was much calmer now than back when they were teenagers with a clearly relaxed aura.

"The one the only," Remy said with a chuckle and took the opposite side of him. "So what exactly are you here? You seem to be doing well."

"A lot better than the last time we saw each other," Timmy said. "My life has dramatically improved since then. I must say I don't miss high school or being a kid. Uhmmm in terms of people my parents are retired in Florida with millions to their name. Tootie lives safely in Seattle and ummm Chloe where she's still around. Busy with her own life. How have you been?"

"Hmm that's good to know," Remy said. "As for me, I've done very well. Gathered a few billions more in my family's fortune. Traveled to several companies and I came here to meet up with a lawyer to talk about a merger with my acquisition company."

"And that would be me," Timmy said. "Uhh hi Timmy Turner I'm the lawyer for Sicsio industries."

"Well that's ironic," Remy said. "Remy Buxxeplenty owner and cofounder of Buxaplenty acquisitions corporations. Cofouner and CEO. It's nice to meet you Mr. Turner." With that the two of them did a handshake and sat down for preliminary talks. Mergers would often take months to accomplish.

It was a two hour long conversation only covering the basics. Without diverluging any sensitive details. Just going over the basics about what each company did and how they worked. Timmy also received Remy's phone number and slipped it deep into his phone. Then spent an hour on the phone recording the details towards his boss before finally retiring for the night. Then spent over an hour getting home as it took 40 minutes by transit to get towards the train stop where his car was parked. Him and Chloe years ago sworn off driving downtown just due to the traffic and crime. Then spent 20 minutes driving home with traffic before he finally pulled the car up towards the curb. As parked in his driveway were two cars which means they had already started without him. Pulling up Timmy parked the car, turned off the ignition and took his key. Standing out in the front yard was Tammy, Tommy, Foop and Anti-Goldie. Out of the 4 of them Anti-Goldie was the most energetic and enthusiastic. Quite tall for a girl of her age she was clearly the younger of the 4.

With dark black hair, dark blue eyes, cat like whiskers and wore a dark blue shirt with a dark blue skirt to match. Alongside wearing leggings. The 6 year old was a nightmare to deal with. A chaotic child that was wildly out of control. Timmy pulled the car towards the curb and shut off the ignition. Sighing he excited the car to join his family and Chloe who were there as three more people moved out of the house. One was Jaine who was clearly grumbling where a light think tank top. Next to her was her father A.j which was distantly related to the twins mother making him part of the family. A.j had gained his father's fiscique. Being tall and overweight. He wore a blue shirt, and jeans.

"Timmy about time you show up, get lost downtown?" Chester McBadbat asked. How the two of them remained friends was mysterious to Timmy, but he wasn't going to complain. Chester had outgrown his family and solidified to the upper middle class teetering on being rich. After having a failing baseball career he had started his own business and exploded in wealth. It was weird the man still talked to him after all these years. Timmy scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"Nah RLS got delayed," Timmy said.

"You took the train?" Chester asked.

"We don't drive downtown anymore not since the took over 900 south to endless construction. Plus with how dangerous it is and this being our only car not worth it." Timmy explained, "So how have you been?"

"Great," Chester said. "Got a nice payout for a very affluent customer so when you asked for some help. I was available plus it's nice to hangout like old times plus the free food helps too."

"Hey Timmy keys," Timmy looked over to have his short reunion ruined as Chloe appeared with Tammy by her side. "You guys can go and move things over. I'm getting food after my appointment. Come on Tammy."

"Uhmm okay," Tammy said confused. Timmy sighed as A.j walked over to them confused as Timmy handed Chloe the keys. Who grabbed the girl by the hand Tammy grumbled the entire time and Foop and Anti-Goldie followed suit.

It had taken them almost two hours to move everything over. Timmy and Chloe had already moved everything out of the house minus the furniture. Which had finally been moved over and stored into the attic. And so they had settled into the front room. A.j was quite like his father, a tall, rich highly intelligent man who amounted to nothing. Just living a rather normal middle class life even though he was filthy rich. Hell he didn't even have a job to boot as they just lived on his family's fortune. How he had managed to remain married was a mystery. But he remained a friend after so many years the fact Timmy managed to remain somewhat close to them was a scene of pride. They had settled down to watch a Baseball game on the TV. When Chloe, Tammy and CO finlay pulled into the driveway. The door swung open and the warm smell of pizza flew into the air as Chloe walked in with a bunch of pizzas in her hand. Tammy carried a brown envelope in her hand. "Alright we have the pizza and the rest of the stuff in the car if you guys want it."

"Alright," Chester said. He stood up and moved over grabbing some of the boxes of pizza. With that Chloe snatched the envelope from Tammy's hand and handed it to Timmy who grinned. He knew exactly what was inside and placed it towards his side as Chloe moved away. Tammy gave him a strange look on his face.
