Chapter 5 - Flurry's "Mitosis" and Nani's Missing
19:45 (7:45 PM)
During Cobra's Call
Pathway to the House
Nani was almost home, she was starting to hear noises in the trees. Now that hear hearing was a lot better now it kind of sounded like she could hear whispers as well. Still quite new to the new form, she tried to ignore it. She tried to think about the lecture she was going to give Popper if this was him. The noises got louder, and the whispers started to almost make sense. It was getting much harder to ignore.
"When I give signal, we capture" A familiar voice said that she couldn't quite remember. She kept walking, as she thought about what she was going to do when he gives the signal. Her mind was racing trying to figure out who the familiar voice was. It's still 15 minute walk home, I'm not going to make it, they are going to pounce at any moment. Maybe it's Popper, playing a prank, but Popper doesn't sound like that, that sounds like a raspy version of Stitch. It can't be, could it? the more she thought about it she began to shake. "Now" The voice yelled. Just before she could speak everything went dark.
19:58 (7:58 PM)
Present time
At the House
"Wasn't Nani supposed to be back by now?" Popper asked.
"Yup, She said 7:30 and it's almost 8" Lilo answered. Popper felt something was wrong, he didn't understand what. Flurry had sat back down as she started to feel dizzy for some reason. Popper went over to see how she was doing, thinking it was just her stress levels.
"Hey, Flurry how are you feeling now, any better?" Popper asked kneeling down.
"hmm..." Flurry hummed. Popper felt her forehead. It felt hot, but how. Flurry's power's are cold, let alone the fact that she never been sick before.
"Guys!" Popper yelled. "GUYS!" he yelled again. They all walked in to see Popper.
"What's wrong?" Sarah asked.
"Flurry has a fever" Popper said.
"ok, so she is sick, that's..." Sarah stop in mid sentence. "Wait, she has a fever, doesn't she have ice powers?" Sarah asked. Popper shook his head yes.
Flurry's POV
I shouldn't feel like this. My body feels hot, but how? Why? I can't even make out what they are saying to me. They probably know already and are trying to figure out why too. I hope. It's starting to burn. What is causing this? It feels like fire burning every inch of my body.
*cough*
Everyone just backed away from me cause I just coughed up smoke.
"What's happening to me?" I asked. I was starting to become self aware.
"I don't know but we are going to take you outside to the brook by the treehouse and see if that will work" Popper said to me. Just as they got me outside my paws began to glow red hot.
"Popper, I feel weird..." I said my body caught fire and everyone dropped me from the flames just then...nothing. Total darkness
End of Flurry's POV
The flames that came from Flurry completely took her shape as Flurry's body fell to the ground. The flames then separated from Flurry and they began to cool to reveal a brand new Experiment. This Experiment looked like Flurry but was red all of her body, she had a yellow belly. Just then they ran to Flurry to make sure she was ok, at the same time the other one ran into the woods evil laughing.
"Flurry, are you ok? can you hear me?" Popper said trying to wake her up.
Flurry's Lucid Dream
"Am I, dead?" I asked as I was standing over my own body.
"No, you are not" A voice said.
"huh?" I replied. I was very confused.
"You are ready for you test..." the voice said.
"Test? What test?" I asked still confused. Just then a shadow emerged. At first i was frightened, but the shape of the shadow looked like me.
"Don't be frightened, I am you, and you are me, I have always been within you" Shadow said.
"We are the same? but what am I doing here? why can i see my body?" I asked.
"This is your subconscious mind, your not dead, you are in your mind. When you awake your test will start, and you in a sense will find out who you really are. You also have a sister and must tame her, show her how to love. Complete thoughts tasks and you will be ready. Work on yourself first as you need that to help your sister" Shadow said. Flurry began to wake up.
"wait, I have so many questions..." Flurry said.
End of Flurry's Dream
"Flurry, are you ok? can you hear me?" Popper said trying to wake her up. Flurry began to wake up mumbling something no one could understand. "Flurry! You're ok" Popper said with tears in his eyes.
"huh? Popper? I think I feel better now...but Shadow told me I have tasks..." Flurry said. Popper stood motionless. Flurry sat up and looked at Popper.
"Shadow is the one that helped me, when I was in limbo" Popper said. "She is you...you are her" he added.
"I know, Popper. She told me" Flurry said. Flurry hugged Popper and he hugged back. "Now we need to find my sister, I have tasks to complete" Flurry said.
"Ih" Popper agreed.
"Did you get any of that?" Angel asked.
"No idea..." Stitch replied.
"She is going through a trial of find herself, you all will have one too. I think I know what Popper did, when he used his power..." Sarah stated. Everyone looked at her in confusion. "you are all Angelus now" she added. "and that means...the whole world is..." She said but stopped mid sentence.
"The whole world is what?" Lilo asked.
"The whole world is changed now, no one is human any more" Popper answered. Everyone went silent.
"It was supposed to happen everyone, you guys all completed task one" Shadow said in all of there minds at the same time. "Find your purpose, next find yourselves, after that everyone has different tasks" she added.
"Understood" Popper agreed. "But that also means, we are the last Angels" Popper added.
"Correct, you will find out more in your solo task, Popper" Shadow stated. "Follow your hearts, and you will complete your tasks" Shadow said before she faded into silence.
"I know my place to start, follow me guys" Flurry said getting up and heading in the direction her fiery twin went. They all came up to an old cave system. It didn't look very sturdy. Popper was getting a very bad feeling about it.
20:30 (8:30 PM)
Present time
The house
Cobra had arrived but nobody was there. To make matters worse, the power started to flicker.
"Lilo! Stitch! Popper!" Cobra yelled but there was nobody home. Just then the power cut off completely. "This complicates things a bit" Cobra said as the whole town plunged into darkness. But Cobra noticed something different, he could see in the dark. "This all keeps getting interesting" Cobra added.
20:40 (8:40 PM)
Present time
Inside the cave
"So this is what it feels like to see in the dark" Lilo stated.
"Yes, Tooki-bah-wah-bah" Stitch said. Lilo chuckled, Angel Chuckled too but the didn't look at her but she shrugged it off. Maybe they are just focused on them right now no Biggy...right? Just then Flurry spotted her.
"There!" Flurry said as she stepped in front of everybody just incase she tried to attack.
"grrrr" The fiery twin growled.
"Listen, we mean you now harm, ok just calm down" Flurry stated trying to calm her down a bit. It looked like it was working at first, but just as she got a little closer a rock fell behind the Fiery twin she powered up her fire powers, there is no turning back now.

"Be careful this cave is very unstable" Popper said.
The flames fill my lungs

*Popper took Flurry's paw and tried to bring her to safety, Flurry saw her twin disappear deeper into the cave*

*just then Popper and Flurry's paws slipped and the cave closed up behind Popper sealing Flurry within*

"Nooo, Flurry nooo" Popper said trying to dig her out. Everyone stood in horror. Disbelief of what just happened. "Nooo, please, not like this" Popper began to weep uncontrollably. He clasped on the ground, and continued to cry. Stitch hugged Lilo as she cried, when Angel looked over as she was about to cry as well but she saw Lilo already where she was supposed to be. Sarah saw this and let her cry with her.
"Shhh Angel, it's going to be ok, I know" Sarah said trying to hide her crying, tears running down her own face.
