Disclaimer: Unfortunately I do not own Harry Potter, the Avengers, or any characters you recognize from J.K. Rowling or Marvel and any mistakes found in any of the chapters are my own.

A/N: I've read plenty of crossovers about Tony finding out that he has a child and figured why not give it a try. As always my main character is black, as an author and a reader I feel like representation matters.

Third Person Pov

Back in the back

Of a Cadillac

Number one with a bullet, I'm a power pack

Yes, I'm in a bang

With a gang

They've got to catch me if they want me to hang

'Cause I'm back on the track

And I'm beatin' the flack

Nobody's gonna get me on another rap

So look at me now

I'm just makin' my play

Don't try to push your luck, just get out of my way

'Cause I'm back

Yes, I'm back

Well, I'm back

Yes, I'm back

Well, I'm back, back

Well, I'm back in black

Yes, I'm back in black

Tony bobbed his head along with the music blasting from the radio in his classic blue Shelby Cobra, as he pulled into the roundabout driveway in front of his lavish mansion.

The young genius, billionaire, former playboy, philanthropist, had not been his usual narcissistic, arrogant self for the past couple of months; the sudden change in his personality had been a shock to those around him especially the media. The paparazzi were pulling their hair out not being able to capture everybody's favorite nonconformist in a compromising position.

It was true. He did have an extra pep in his step for the past 7 months. The press' speculations ranged from the Stark heir joining a religious cult to him eloping with some European heiress.

But the truth was Tony Stark had fallen in love. No one was more shocked than him that it had actually happened. Feelings weren't exactly his strong suit. Even before his parents died 2 years ago, he had always kind of been emotionally inept. But all of that changed the second he laid eyes on Genevieve Bonham. His Genny.

The brown skinned British beauty had him hooked and he was shockingly okay with it. She was just as sarcastic if not more so than him, could drink a grown man under the table, had a mouth that would make a sailor blush, and could demolish a bacon cheeseburger and 2 plates of chili cheese fries in an impressive amount of time. For the first time ever he had completely opened himself up to another person, besides Rhodey of course.

As he walked through his colossal double doors, Tony paused as he saw Genevieve's sketch book laying on the table.

"Genny?! You here?!" He called out getting no response confusing him further, because she carries that tablet with her everywhere.

As he got closer he noticed a letter laying on the doodle riddle gray cover. He picked up the paper that had his name scribbled in Genevieve's elegant calligraphy.

My dearest Tony,

I wish I was brave enough to face you, but I'm not. I'm afraid that if I did lay my eyes on you I wouldn't have the strength to do what I have to.

I have to leave. And I won't be coming back. Believe me I don't want to do this, but I don't have a choice. I'm doing this for your own protection. I know that you've sensed that I've been keeping something from you, and you're right to suspect that. I wasn't completely honest with you about who I really am and for that I am sorry, but I never once lied about the love I have for you. You are my heart, you are the true light of my life and I would do anything to protect you. What we created is something beautiful and magical, beyond what I could have ever hoped for.

Please believe that I am doing this for your own good. I'm trying to protect you, so please do not search for me. Live your life to the fullest, create, explore, find love again. You deserve it more than anyone. Please know that this is the hardest thing that I have ever had to do, but also know that I will love you as long as there is breath in my lungs.

Yours forever and always,

Genny

A lone tear drop fell onto the letter before he dropped it on the table gently picking up the gray tablet.

He flipped through the pages seeing endless sketches of California landscape, the New York skyline, random pedestrians they'd see when they people watched before he stopped on a portrait of him. She saw him in a way that no one else did, and captured it on paper. The longer he looked at the picture the more the tears began to fall.

He felt like someone had ripped his heart out of his chest. He knew that Genny had been hiding something from him, when he would ask about her family or her childhood she would be evasive, but he never pushed. He just figured when she was ready she'd tell him, but now she's gone. Just as he had found something good in his life, it was being ripped away from him.
