So in the Palladium TMNT RPG if your character was mutated by deliberate experimentation and if they escaped the orginazation that created the specific background you roll will have a set amount of loot you stole from your creators as 'compinsation' this also brings another aspect of Pallaidium alignments in Pallaidium are a bit different from D&D with the Lawful/Chaotic Axis and Good/Evil axis for one thing there is no equivilent to 'True Neutral' because of their arguments I tend to agree with it's biolgically impossible with 'Selfish' being the middle ground between good and evil and the goodest of good characters are specifically noted to never take 'dirty' money or items even if destitute here the W.V.B.A. Display a pragmantic attitude in the 'Chaotic Good' vein that with the fact these Mutants are being created by humans, if their creators are such abusive assholes that their creations feel the need to escape then they will happily use stolen money for 'good causes'
The next day, Glass Joe was awkened by a guard who told him his friends had come and paid his bail.
Joe was taken to Von Kaiser and Gerbasi smiling broadly
"But...How?" Joe asked
"That Dog-Girl," Gerbasi said with a grin "Came to us with a giant sack full of Benjamins! She said it was among the 'Compensations' she took when she escaped the lab, we asked her why did she keep all of it, and she told us 'Where can a freak of nature go shopping?' I guess she was just saving it for someone who really needed it!"
Joe was speechless! He still felt he should be let off this easy! "But...What about the trial?"
Gerbasi sighed "She said if you won't accept being bailed out then we can spend the money on the best lawyer we can buy!"
However Joe took one look at Viktor's expression, and he remembered there was something more important right now...That all of Third Earth was in potential danger from the mechinations of an older world...Joe sighed...He realized for the sake of his friends for the sake of the entire world, he'll just have to deal with his guilt for what he had done later especially now that they now had a Mutant Animal ally in a strange way this seemed whole ordeal might have been a blessing in disguise if it was what had drawn Dana out to contact them.
Glass Joe's was snapped out of his musings by Gerbasi's wry chuckle "Looks like someone has a not-so-secret admirer! When we asked the Dog-Girl what she talked about with you, she got this look in her eye I know that look...The look of a lovestruck schoolgirl!"
And Joe blushed so deeply his cheeks looked like tomatoes! "Do you really think so?" He asked sheepishly "We've only just met..."
"Ah Joe don't worry about it!" Gerbasi said "Take what you can get! The Mutant Mutt bailed you out cuz she has a crush on you! You should thank your lucky stars!"
Joe looked at Von Kaiser, and he could see from the look in his eyes that now that Dana was their 'in' to the world of Mutants, Joe was going to have a very important part to play in interacting with her. They knew their boss wasn't there to witness the incident with the Troubadour Wolf Humanimal and while they told him all about it, the short little Italian was a bit too jovial and relaxed for his own good and didn't really believe there was any potential danger from First Earth what they told him about what they learned about the 'Wranglers' strange habits kind of went in one ear and out the other, if it wasn't about the boing business he couldn't care less. Not seeing the danger Humanity might be taken over by Technocrats and forcibly stripped of empathy and ability to feel the more tender emotions.
As Glass Joe walked out a free man he turned to his old friend and asked quietly "What next?"
Von Kaiser cleared his throat "Here's her phone number." He handed Glass Joe a piece of paper "You should know what to do."
So I admit part of the reason I created this fic was because of the dearth of Non-Slash Punch Out fanfics and if you're a fan of Slash fine, whatever floats your boat...However I feel recent events where the terminally online have tried to force creators to make their fan ships canon has played a large part in a lot of the problems with media as of late, so I seek to provide an alternative and so I write my favorite thing Human/Anthro Animal romance
