"DON'T TAKE MY KATSUKI!" Kagome's words echo out as she flings herself towards the warp gate. She couldn't just stay back and watch Katsuki be taken, not when everyone had been working so hard to keep him safe. Kagome blames it on the daze she went under the moment she knew that the villains were after Katsuki, her entire being going into a dreamlike state until she was soaring towards his terrified form.
Kagome makes it to the gate, grabbing onto Katsuki's hand while failing to see someone else's hand come through the portal and clasp onto her wrist. Both students are pulled through the gate without another word, the warp gate vanishing in an instant.
Silence fills the area surrounding the others, still in shock by what transpired in front of them until Izuku breaks the silence with a scream. He failed. He had failed to protect Katsuki and he failed to realize Kagome was part of their target list. Tears spill down his cheeks as he wails for his lost friends. Todoroki stands silent with wide eyes, trying to make sense of what had happened in front of them as tears sting his eyes.
The hand on her wrist was hot, too hot for her comfort but she could handle it. One through the portal, Kagome is hand ripped away from Katsuki's as she is lead into a secluded room. "Let me go!" she demands as she struggles to pull her wrist away from the villain.
"Kagome!" She hears Katsuki struggle out as the other villains bind him to a chair.
"Katsuki!" Kagome calls back, getting frantic in her struggles. "Katsuki!" She couldn't see her friend and it made her panic. Logic had long gone out the window, Kagome letting her emotions show to the enemy. "Take me back to him, dammit!"
"Shut the fuck up," the villain snaps lowly. "You talk too damn much." The villain throws her into a room and slams the door shut before locking it. "Now just sit still and you'll be fine."
"As if!" Kagome quips back as she sits up and runs her wrist. "I know your types' game. You're going to leave me in here until Katsuki agrees to join your pathetic league! You'll use me as bait for him!" The villain merely chuckles and shakes his head.
"That's where you're wrong, doll." All Kagome could see was his mouth from the small window, his lips pulling into a sadistic smile that bared his teeth menacingly. "He was the bait to get you." Her eyes widen but she doesn't say a word as the villain walks away. Kagome tilts her head down and stars at her lap, regret hitting her like a wave. Was that why she was being followed in the first place?
Kagome tries to let the silence settle in, needing a moment to meditate and think of a solution but the loud voices echo off the thin walls with muffled words. Not being able to make out what is being said, Kagome sighs loudly and tries to block it out as much as she can. Closing her eyes, she focuses on her center and looks for an escape. The door to her prison opens suddenly, pulling her from her thoughts.
"Kagome, what the hell are you doing here?" Kagome's eyes snap open to look at who entered. "Do you have any idea what they plan to do to you?" Shippo snaps lowly, closing the door behind him. "Are you insane?!"
"Am I-? Excuse me?!" Kagome yells, her rage boiling up again. ""Are you insane?! Why are you a villain?!"
"That doesn't matter right now, Kagome," he sighs, not looking at her. "I'll figure out how to get you out of here, just be patient ok?"
"And why should I trust you?" Her words sting him like poison, his heart clenching at how she must see him now. "You attack my friends and try to kidnap not only one but two of them!" Kagome stands as tears threaten to spill from her eyes. "Did nothing we worked for matter to you?! How can you side with the enemy?!"
"I said it doesn't matter!" Shippo yells back. "I shouldn't have come…"
"No," Kagome crosses her arms. "You really shouldn't have." Shippo leaves her shortly after, both nearly breaking down at the hostile reunion. "This is so stupid! Why am I being so reckless?!" she shouts to herself as she pulls at her hair in frustration.
"It's pathetic you haven't figured it out yet, sweetheart," a voice comes from behind the door. It was her flame again, tormenting her for his enjoyment it seemed. "Putting on this strong mask for your friends when in reality you are the weakest of them." He was lying, he had to be. She was physically much stronger than most of her peers and how she used to be. "You act on your emotions far too often to be any help to those heroes." His voice drips with hatred, causing a chill to run down her spine. He was trying to scare her and make her submit to anything he had to offer, but Kagome isn't like everyone else.
"And you don't? Isn't that why you are here?" she bites back. "You are fueled by rage and vengeance that it's blinding your path." The smirk he was holding was long gone as she spoke, not liking how she was speaking to him like she knew his life. "Just like what you're about to do now."
"You better watch your mouth if you know what's good for you, bitch," he sneers.
"Like you scare me." Having the very small upper hand, Kagome uses it to the best of her ability to rile her captor and stalker up. "Now are you going to give me a name or am I just going to call you stalker?" Forget finding that comfort in his aura, Kagome's only concern was getting out of here and back to Katsuki.
"Tch." He turns to walk away, not caring enough about what the girl had to say to him anymore. "It's Dabi."
"So you are hiding from something." It was her turn to smirk. "Let me guess. You're a runaway looking for self validation in fulfilling your ideology!" Kagome could see the rage spark up in his aura again but he didn't show it on his person. No, externally he was calm as could be and it almost made Kagome nervous.
"You're lucky you're valuable to us," he chuckles slightly. "Otherwise I'd have burned you alive."
"You would have done so already if that was true," she says confidently despite just getting a death threat. "If you had really wanted to burn me alive you would have done it when I was completely alone." Dabi clicks his tongue before walking away from the door and back to the other room. Sighing, Kagome relaxes her tense muscles the best she can as she waits for literally anything to happen to her. Yet it left her with time to think about everything that's happening. Her mind only let her think of Katsuki, however, worrying for his safety taking over anything else. Time ticks by slowly, minutes feeling like hours with nothing but muffled voices around her.
A loud bang causes her to jump, panic rushing through her at the thought of Katsuki having to fight the villains alone. "Katsuki!" she screams out as she gets to the door. Terror fills her body as she bangs on the door, desperately trying to get someone's attention. "Let me out!" Stopping the moment she felt All Might's aura with other Heroes surround them, a small smile tugging on her lips. They were saved! Kagome hits the louder, determined to get noticed by one of the Pros that had shown up once a crash echoes through the building. "All Might! I'm in here!" she yells, her throat feeling like it was on fire from the misuse. "All Mi-!" Kagome starts coughing up a sludge-like substance, again reminding her of Naraku as it envelops her body. In a blink of an eye she's standing in front of a man with some sort of mask on to cover his face. Her stomach twists at the sight of him, feeling Naraku's presence in the man as she takes a step back.
"It's been a long time, Miko," the villain says towards Kagome, making the girl apply her second skin in caution. A moment passes and Katsuki is standing next to her panting while the villains start appearing from the sludge.
"What… was that," he pants out as he wipes his mouth with the back of his hand. Kagome bites her lip, willing herself not to cheer for his safety while she was in front of the enemy.
"Apologies, Bakugo," the man says calmly. Kagome takes another step backwards, feeling her life to be dangling by a thread. "You've failed again, Tomura." Kagome tries to block out his voice as she focuses on staying calm and finding a way to escape with Katsuki. "What's why I've brought your little band along." Her heart was racing too fast to concentrate on anything, her energy almost spiraling out of control due to just her emotion state. "I've given you the fox to help and gave you a hint that brought you to the girl." Kagome's head pounds harshly, making her feel nauseous and overheated by the situation playing out. "I knew you'd come."
Time slows for Kagome once she recovers from being blown away by All Might's attack.
"Kagome!" Katsuki calls as he rushes to her, trying to get her out of the way. "What the hell are you thinking?!"
"Now's not the time!" she yells back, holding onto him like her life depended on it. Katsuki keeps his eyes on All Might, his face contorting into concern for the Pro Hero.
"I'm taking Bakugo and Higurashi!" All Might declares as he dashes back towards All for One. "And this time I'm smashing you into a prison cell!" Kagome couldn't watch, despite how little it would affect her later. Her worry is solely on Katsuki and she wasn't going to let go of him until he was safe.
Yet the band of villains were closing in on them in an attempt to get them through the large warp gate. Kagome knew all they would need is a barrier but that would keep them cornered. So she chooses her arrows, pulling away from Katsuki and shooting at the villains as they come close while being sure to keep her energy at her old limit. Kagome follows Katsuki's movements, working with him to keep the villains away from them.
A blast from the side and shouts from above turn the pair's attention to their saviors. Kirishima has his hand stretched towards them as he shouts for them. In one fluid movement, Katsuki pulls Kagome against him and blasts them upwards with his quirk. Kagome wraps her arms around his neck so he has access to both hands, letting him grab onto Kirishima's easily. "You idiots!" Katsuki snaps as they soar through the air. The fight between All Might and All for One still raging under them, they let a sigh of relief out once they have their friends again.
"You guys are insane being out here!" Kagome calls out, tears stinging her eyes. She was really safe now, Katsuki was safe. That was until she started sputtering that same sludge from before.
"Shit! No!" Katsuki holds onto her desperately, the same terror back in his eyes as the sludge covers her body.
"Let go!" Kagome yells to Katsuki.
"Like hell I will!"
"I refuse to let them take you again, let me go!" Kagome struggles to get out as she pushes herself from his arms and descends towards the ground. The world around her stops as her heart pounds in her chest, watching as her friends get away safely.
"Kagome!" A chorus of voices yell out as she chokes on the sludge, yet she keeps her eyes on Katsuki the entire time. A smile appears on her face knowing he was safe.
"Kagome! You idiot!" an all too familiar voice calls. Inuyasha had just shown up to the scene with Sesshomaru to find Kagome falling.
"Inuya-" her mutters are cut off by being completely covered by the sludge before hitting the ground.
"Dammit!" Katsuki screams out as they land. "Why the fuck do they want her?!" He didn't want to talk to anyone, certainly not the police trying to question him about what happened and where Kagome was. No, he didn't want to deal with anything, he just wanted Kagome back.
Yet that in itself confused him. Why had she jumped to try and save him? Why didn't she listen to him when he said to stay back? When he had gotten home, he didn't shout back to his mom or anything for that matter. He goes straight to his room and locks the door behind him. "It should've been me."
Kagome wakes up in a barely lit room, the only light coming from under the closed door. Groaning and running her head, Kagome is hit with the memories of what had just happened. A small sigh of relief passes her lips knowing Katsuki was safe with Izuku. "Hello?" she asks loudly as she tries to stand. Still a bit discombobulated, Kagome stumbles back to her knees. "Hello is anyone there?" The door opens slowly, a tall figure stepping inside before closing the door behind them. "Who are you?" Her eyes had yet to adjust from being blinded by the light once the door had opened.
"Why are you like this?" a male voice asks softly. "Why do you always put yourself in danger?"
"Shippo?" Kagome goes to stand again only to fall back down by how much her head was spinning. "Why are you here?"
"It's my turn to watch you," he states simply. "You realize that if you hadn't have gone after that Bakugo kid you would be safe? Those friends of yours would have come to get him regardless. You're putting yourself in needless danger again!"
"Like you care! How many people have died because of this league of yours?!" Shippo doesn't respond. "How many have died because of you?!"
"Only one." His voice is nearly nonexistent.
"Who?" Kagome's heart starts to race as fear covers her like a wave. "Who died?"
"Rin." Her heart almost stops altogether, wishing that she misheard him. "It was Rin."
"What?" she gasps. "How could you let that happen?!"
"I didn't have a choice!" he snaps as his voice quivers. "I went out to find you because I thought you were still with us! Everyone was against me! Saying that you vanished!" There were tears streaming down his face, the slight shine catching Kagome's eye. "I didn't want to believe them so I went to search for you. I thought I caught your scent so I followed it, but it was a trap. Naraku had barely survived and caught me. I didn't have a choice…"
"A-and little Rin?" Kagome couldn't stand the sight of her close friend breaking down in front of her. That it was because he didn't give up on her that he is here. Shippo kneels down thinking over his words.
"She followed me into the trap and Naraku used her as leverage over me to do his bidding. I botched a mission he gave me and retaliated by killing her in front of me."
"Shippo," her own voice trembles. "I-I had no idea…"
"It's not something I'm proud of, Kagome." He couldn't look up from the floor, feeling shame and guilt overtake his body. "If I had listened to everyone, she would have been able to live a good life."
"Then why did you stay?"
"How was I supposed to face Sesshomaru?" Shippo hadn't let himself dwell on what had happened so long ago, trying to focus on what was asked of him to avoid anymore death by his doing. Everything he was doing was a front, a facade to the villains. When he had found Kagome during their first attack, he wasn't planning on actually killing anyone. Just rough them up enough to be almost in the hospital. "Our pack will never accept me back for what I've done, Kagome. I don't deserve forgiveness." Said girl scoots closer to the demon and pulls him into a hug. Shippo responds immediately, clinging onto her like he did as a child. "I deserve to rot-"
"Stop it," she cuts him off. "Don't you ever talk about yourself like that."
"B-but Kagome, I-"
"I said stop it." Her tone leaves no room to argue. "We'll figure out how to get you out of this."
"I can't," he starts. "The only thing waiting for me is jail, Kagome. I've been a notorious villain for a few hundred years."
"Like I said," Kagome states. "We'll figure this out. It's partially my fault you're here to begin with." Shippo doesn't say anything, just holds onto her as he cries until it was time to swap with the next guard. "Clean up, someone is coming," she whispers as she pulls away from him and fakes a fearful expression as the guard walks up.
"Shippo, it's time to switch," calls out a small voice of a girl. "And Shigaraki is wanting to speak to you." Kagome drops her facade once she recognizes the voice and near nonexistent aura of the girl.
"Got it, thanks Kanna," Shippo states calmly. Any sign of their conversation was erased and replaced with a smug expression. "She's all yours." Shippo heads down the hall as Kanna walks in with her mirror and closes the door.
"It's been a long time, Kagome."
"You know, that phrase is really getting old…" she sighs. "What are you planning?" Kanna stays silent for a moment, making sure no one was near to hear her.
"I'm going to help you."
"What?" Kagome asks in confusion. Sure, the last time she had seen her alive, Kanna had given them a hint on how to defeat Naraku. But this was much more than last time.
"I will not repeat myself," the young girl states. "Naraku is still in this world, meaning I cannot escape it." Kagome nods slightly, remembering how the girl had wanted nothing more than to be free with Kagura. "But I can't do it alone."
"Then what is your plan?" Kagome sighs softly, knowing she didn't have much of a choice.
"Then you are willing?" Kagome nods again. "This plan is not a pleasant one, but it should work."
"Not pleasant?"
"I'll be taking a part of your soul again."
"A part of- Why?" Kagome was beyond confused by this point. It wasn't uncommon that she got help from the enemy but twice from the same one? That was almost too good to be true.
"So they deem you worthless and let you go."
"You realize we're talking about villains, right?" Kagome scoffs. "When I'm deemed useless they'll kill me, not let me go."
"I already told Shigaraki my plan, letting him think that he is hurting your friends by sending you back."
"But were you lying?" Kanna shakes her head slightly.
"No. In order to get you out, I have to take your memories with that portion of your soul."
"Ok slow down," Kagome waves her hands in front of her. "Take my memories? How am I going to get them back?"
"You've always been a strong one, Kagome. I couldn't take your entire soul if I tried."
"Well you did try once."
"And it failed." Kanna holds her mirror up and catches Kagome's reflection. "You'll need to get them back by force. I won't be able to get to you."
"By force?" Kagome thinks for a moment, remembering the times she's broken out of mind control, taken back her soul, fought off demons trying to get her. "Which memories are you taking?" Kagome asks bravely, already making up her mind to go with Kanna's plan.
"Your memories of this world." Kagome inhales sharply. Kanna meant she would lose her memory of Katsuki and Izuku and everyone else in her class. They would all be strangers to her until she got it back. "Do you accept?" After a moment, Kagome nods her head before feeling her soul being sucked into the mirror. "Thank you for trusting me." Kanna stops after taking the portion she needed and leaves as Kagome falls unconscious once again. She only had a small amount of time to get to her given room before she blanked out completely from holding Kagome's soul. Kanna had told Shigaraki she was going to erase Kagome's memories, letting him think she wouldn't be able to get them back. Shigaraki was delighted by the thought of hurting Izuku and Katsuki with their closest friend not remembering them and agreed without much further thought. It was agreed that someone would take her to a hero, dropping her off in an alley and leaving before they were caught by said hero. All they had to do was wait for her to wake up again to continue the plan.
Kagome doesn't take long to awaken. It took an hour at most for her to come back. "Hey kid," a males voice calls from behind the door, making Kagome jump. "You alive in there?"
"No thanks to you," she quips back, trying not to panic from being in a dark room.
"And you're back to being a bitch," the male sighs as he opens the door and walks in.
"Excuse me? You can't just talk to me like that," Kagome snaps as she moves away from him.
"I have before."
"As if! I've never seen you a day in my life!" Kagome was beyond confused. She had just made her wish on the jewel and she's already been kidnapped? It was just her luck, she guesses.
"That dumb expression is a bad look on you, Princess," he chuckles knowing damn well she doesn't remember him. "Now get up."
"Don't call me that then expect me to listen," Kagome glares as she pushes herself against the back wall.
"You will if you know what's good for you."
"If that was the case I would already be dead a thousand times over. Your words are nothing but an empty threat." The male slightly raises an eyebrow, amused at her confidence. "You don't scare me, patchwork."
"Don't call me that," he glares slightly.
"What else am I supposed to call you?" Kagome smirks slightly, knowing it had gotten under his skin a bit. "Because I clearly have no idea what your name is, patchwork."
"Fuck! Fine, call me Dabi." This girl is still as sassy as ever even with her memories being taken, it seemed. Dabi runs a hand through his hair in annoyance, the light from the door shining into his eyes.
"Well, Dabi," she smiles kindly at him for a change. "It's nice to meet you." Was this girl serious? First she snaps at him then she smiles? Dabi shakes his head as he chuckles slightly.
"You're fucking weird."
"I get that a lot," Kagome laughs softly. "But those staples of look uncomfortable, mind if I take a look at them?"
"Excuse me?" he scoffs. "You realize I'm the reason you're here in the first place, right?"
"Fully aware," she answers, her smile never leaving her. "Now let me see your scars." For the first time in a long while, Dabi hesitates. Does he listen or does he ignore her? "Please? It may not mean much but you can trust me."
"Trust?" he laughs in spite. "You're dumber than you look, Princess."
"Hey, I'm just trying to be nice!" Kagome frowns slightly. This isn't the first time she has been in this type of situation, but usually she would use Inuyasha as an excuse. Yet as far as she knows, he isn't in this world. "If you don't want my help then leave me alone, patchwork."
"I said not to fucking call me that," Dabi goes back to his glare.
"And I told you not to call me princess!" Kagome holds his glare. "Now sit the hell down and let me check!"
"Hell no." Dabi turns to leave, feedup with how Kagome was acting. Yet Kagome herself was compelled to help him. While he was indeed her captor, she couldn't help but feel a bit of comfort in his aura.
"Please?" she asks in a final attempt. There was something in his aura screaming out in pain, like he needed someone but didn't want to admit it. It would be like admitting defeat against an enemy. "What harm can come from just checking?"
"If you do anything I don't like, I'll fucking kill you," Dabi threatens as he finally sits down and leans agains the wall beside her. Kagome's smiles comes back as she brings her energy to her hands for both light and healing. The pink glow from her hands catches Dabi off guard with how warm it felt. Like being swaddled in a blanket as a baby. Somehow this girl knew he needed a painkiller, running out of his usual stash earlier that day.
"C-close your eyes," she stumbles out as she looks over his scars.
"I think I'll be fine," he smirks seeing the light blush creep onto her cheeks. "Just do what you said you would." His anger is replaced by amusement once more, watching the once sassy girl become flustered by just the sight of him.
"I know you will be, b-but its distracting…" Kagome confesses in a whisper.
"Distracting?" he chuckles out. "How are my eyes distracting?" The slight blush now covers her face in red because of the embarrassment. "Well?" Dabi purposely lowers his already deep voice, gaining that sensual raspy undertone that causes many females to swoon.
"They're a really pretty color, ok?" Kagome rushes out as she clenches her eyes shut. That was not the response he had been expecting. No, he expected her to stutter more and become giddy.
"Well, it's too fucking bad that I don't want to close them." Dabi was trying to get something out of her. A flirty laugh, a witty comeback, something.
"Fine," she sighs in annoyance as she grazes her fingertips over the border of his scar under his right eye. Dabi's eyes widen when he feels the numbing pain leave his eye as the border almost becomes nonexistent. A shock of adrenaline coarses through his veins, the air feeling crisper as he breathes in through his nose. Caught up in the feeling, he doesn't realize she was moving to his other eye until that pain subsided. At this point he was sure the color was lighter and he wouldn't need the staples to hold himself together. Dabi knew she was a healer, having watched her try to heal herself before. Yet feeling it first hand was an experience in itself.
The feeling of her fingertips on his mared flesh felt amazing. The pain leaving as soon as she touched each scar. "Am I hurting you at all?" Kagome asks gently, having watched his expressions as she worked. She knew she wasn't hurting him in the slightest, she just wanted to pull him from his mind.
"No," he smirks once he comes back to reality. "Far from it, doll." The blush she had just managed to get under control was back with revenge, making the tips of her ears burn. Dabi chuckles again, finding himself relaxing in her presence. Yet she still continues like he hadn't said anything. Kagome couldn't help but wonder what had happened to him and why he had became a villain. Doing only what she could see, Kagome finishes and leans away from him.
"How do you feel then?" she asks with genuine concern.
"Better, but not much," he lies through his smirk. "Now let's go, I'm getting you out of here."
"What?" Kagome looks at him confused.
"I don't like being in debt to people, kid." Kagome only nods as she gets to her feet, stumbling a bit after not using her legs for a day or two. Dabi catches her by her upper arm, the same amusement dancing in his eyes. "Am I going to have to carry your sorry ass?" Kagome shoots him a glare, clearly not liking how he was talking to her again.
"I can walk perfectly fine on my own," she sneers and pulls her arm away from him. Steading herself, Kagome finally stands and waits for Dabi to lead the way. Rolling his eyes, Dabi stands and walks out of Kagome's prison with her following close behind. "Aren't there others?"
"Nope," he lies again. The other villains were in the main area, fully aware of what Dabi was doing. "It's just me, sweetheart." Kagome didn't question him despite feeling the other auras nearby. He opens a door to was seems to be a side room and walks in. "Hurry the fuck up," he snaps, noticing how hesitant Kagome was to enter after him. There was a warp gate in the middle of the empty room from what she could see past the taller male.
"S-sorry," she stutters out and grabs onto the back of his jacket. Dabi steps through the warp gate without another word, pulling her along. The summer air hits with the blaring sun on her face. From the looks of it they were standing in a alleyway, but in what city? How was she supposed to get home? Dabi pulls her in front of him and starts a fire around her.
"Look alive," he smirks before putting a foot back into the warp gate. Cupping his hands around his mouth, he starts yelling. "Help! Someone help!" He successfully mimicks a terrified civilian. "She's in danger!" Kagome looks at him as if he had grown two heads. "See you later, Princess," he says in his usual voice with a wink before vanishing with the warp gate. Kagome glares at the spot he was just at as a Pro Hero appears at the opening of the alleyway.
"Are you alright?" the male hero asks, his deep voice shocking Kagome. She turns to face him with wide eyes, letting fear finally take over. The man was tall and had a beard of flames, the fire slightly comforting her before she reads his aura.
"I-I don't know. I have n-no idea where I am," she answers honestly. While there was hostility in his aura, she couldn't bring herself to give him any attitude. "I just want to go home," Kagome finally admits, tears stinging in her eyes as the fire around her is put out.
"Of course," the hero states as he leads her out of the alley. "We'll get you home safe, alright Miss Higurashi?" She doesn't ask how he knows her name, just follows him to the nearest police station quietly. After answering questions to the best of her ability, Kagome is released and taken to a hospital after her mother is called.
" I thought I was going home," she whines softly.
"Soon, I promise," the Pro Hero comforts, albeit a little awkwardly. Kagome sits on the hospital bed waiting for the doctor or her mother to come in and let's herself get lost in thought. Questions of what was going on and what had happened swim through her mind. From Dabi knowing who she is to this Hero, she knew she was missing something iimportant. It left her feeling like there was a hole in her mind.
"Kagome?" her mother calls from the doorway, voice raspy and her eyes red from crying as the Hero leaves shortly after.
"Mama?" Kagome answers, getting up from her seat to hug her mother. "Mama, I was so scared!" She finally let's her tears fall, knowing for sure she was safe again. Mama Higurashi holds her daughter tightly, afraid to let her go again after losing her for a few days. When she had heard the news from Aizawa, she didn't want to believe it. But then Izuku had come over with tears in his eyes, confirming her fears. She had hugged the boy before he left, knowing how hard it must be for him.
"Its ok," she says softly as she runs her fingers through Kagome's matted hair. "You're safe now, Kagome. I'm here." This makes the girl sob harshly into her mother's shoulder as the doctor comes in to give the diagnosis of partial amnesia. They had gone over her answers to the police and to them, concluding that she would not remember certain things. "Do not tell the news about her," her mother glares at the doctor. "She's confused as it is and doesn't need people bothering her." The doctor nods slightly and let's them know they are free to go home before leaving. "Come on, let's go." Kagome follows her mother to their family car, falling asleep as soon as they hit the road.
