"I thought I completely fucking lost you," Katsuki whispers out as he struggles to keep in a sob. "What the hell were you thinking?! I would have been fine." Kagome could feel her shoulder getting wet from his tears as he spoke.

"I wasn't thinking," she answers honestly. "But I couldn't let them take you."

"You're a fucking idiot."

"Am not!" Kagome snaps defensively as she pulls away.

"Says the one that lost her damn memories," Katsuki teases slightly as he rubs the tears from his eyes. Kagome pouts with her arms crossed before laughing. Katsuki smiles softly at her, basking in the sound he had been yearning to hear again. "What the hell took you so long anyway?" Kagome quiets her laughter, unsure how to explain Kanna taking not just her memories.

"That's a long story," she yawns out.

"And so is the night, your point?"

"Katsuki! You know the rules!" Kagome whispers harshly. "And I'm having a girl's night!" Despite her words, her heart was begging for more time with him, creating conflict between her mind and her heart. "I told them I was going to get snacks…" Katsuki just stares at her with his eyebrow raised. "I did! That was my part for the night. Toru brought facemasks and headbands, Jiro brought the music, Momo brou-"

"Ok, Princess I get it," he cuts her off with a chuckle and pulls her back into a hug. Kagome blushes brightly, her heart racing at the pet name.

"Good," she huffs out. "Now I seriously have to get back to the girls."

"Damn, fine," he rolls his eyes jokingly. "But you're going to tell me everything tomorrow." Kagome laughs softly as she nods in agreement.

"As you wish, King Explosion Murder," Kagome taunts as she laughs more. Katsuki's cheeks brighten a bit at her tone before moving his hand to the back of her head and pulling her a little closer. Kagome softens her laughter, focusing more on what he was planning.

"It's good to have you back, Kagome," Katsuki whispers after a moment and kisses her forehead before letting go and walking away. "Don't stay up too late, we still have training in the fucking morning." Kagome could only watch as he walked away, stunned by the sudden show of affection. Yet Katsuki was trying his hardest to keep down the bright blush on his features, hoping she hadn't seen it.

Kagome snaps out of her daze and grabs a few bags of chips and cookies from the pantry before rushing upstairs to the girls. Lightly kicking the door with her foot, Kagome tries to balance the small pile in her hand as she waits for someone to open the door. "Damn Kagome, what took you so long?" Mina says as she answers.

"Had to take a minute to sit down," she responds sheepishly. "Got a bit dizzy looking at the snacks."

"You should have asked one of us to go with you," Ochaco chimes in as the two sit down and hand out the munchies. "You did randomly leave without saying anything…" Kagome merely shrugs as they continue their night together.

Kagome wakes up before the others, excited to tell everyone the news they have been anticipating since her return. She quietly leaves the room of sleeping girls and rushes to her own to grab her costume seeing as some upgrades were needed. Heading straight to Hatsume's current lab to keep out of sight of the others, Kagome pants as she closes the door behind her. "Oh, Kagome? You're awake early," Hatsume greets.

"I have to get this done before the others wake up," Kagome pouts slightly. "I want to change my entire outfit…"

"Good thing we have all morning!" Hatsume cheers excitedly. "So! What are you wanting? Support gear?"

"Sort of," Kagome laughs softly at the enthusiasm before explaining her idea for her costume. Ditching the demon slayer uniform, Kagome opts for a modified version of traditional Miko garbs. The long pants being cut into a skirt for that familiar freedom of movement while keeping the top as it is. The inside is lined with heat resistant fabric as well as many hidden pockets for supplies. By the time they were done putting everything together, everyone was awake and heading to the training area.

"Try it on! Please! I need to see it!" Hatsume cheers as she hands the finished costume to Kagome. "Seeing Miko in her fresh new outfit! Awesome!" Kagome laughs and enters the lab's larger storage closet to change. Putting on the top first, she reminisces the first time she wore this when she met Inuyasha. This garb was more of a piece of her than anything else. She finishes dressing with a blissful sigh before leaving the closet to show her friend.

"Mei," she calls out to pull the said girl from her latest project.

"H-how do you remember my first name?" They hadn't been around each other much since the Sports Festival and even then her name was only said a handful of times. "I thought you didn't have any memories?" Forget the costume, Hatsume was more concerned about the fact Kagome had some memory back.

"Well," Kagome scratches her cheek with a small blush. "Tada? I got them back."

"That's amazing!" Hatsume gasps, relief washing over her. "Have you told the others?"

"I've told one person…" Kagome's voice drifts off. "But! I need to tell everyone else at training so I should get going." She didn't want the pinkette to question who it was and she had a feeling that was the next question about to pass her lips. Hatsume agrees with her, excited for the others to have their friend back. Kagome rushes back to her room to put her clothes down then sprints to training.

Her class was already split off like usual, much to her advantage. She walks over to Aizawa who is standing on the sidelines watching everyone. "Went to get a change, I see," he comments without looking at her.

"Yes, well," Kagome stumbles out, her nerves getting the better of her. It was too convenient for her to get everything back so quickly and he wasn't going to believe her in the slightest. "I wanted something that felt more natural than a homage to a past friend." Start it slowly, Kagome. No need to rush into it.

"What's the real reason you came to talk, Higurashi?" Blunt as usual and definitely something she prepared for.

"Right…" she sighs. "I remember everything."

"Sure," he huffs. "Can you back up the claim?" He glances at her from the corner of his eye, noticing her stance and confidence completely different from yesterday. Seeing her nod, Aizawa closes his eyes sighing. "Fine. Let's do a pop quiz of the past few months."

"W-what?" Kagome's eyes widen slightly. "Alright?"

"What is the Sports Festival?" he fires off as he completely turns to her.

"It's an event for the students of U.A. Academy to showcase their abilities to potential recruiters," Kagome smiles confidently.

"Who won?"

"Katsuki!" she answers. "Shoto got second and I got third." Aizawa nods slightly.

"Where is the jewel?" Kagome points to her chest.

"Standing right here."

"Who did you intern with?

"The Taisho Agency with Inuyasha and Sesshomaru."

"What happened during summer training camp?"

"I became one with the jewel," she sighs. "Me and Katsuki got kidnapped by villains."

"That's enough." Aizawa looks back at the others, finding most are watching them in return. "I'll ask more about your time with the villains later. For now, get to training."

"Can't I tell the others?"

"After training, Higurashi." Sighing in defeat, Kagome rushes to her area and calls out Midoriko like usual.

"Took you long enough, child," the older Miko laughs light-heartedly.

"Sorry," Kagome smiles sheepishly. "I was tal-"

"I'm not talking about that, Kagome," she cuts her off. "You've gotten much stronger, so show me what you've got."
