DISCLAIMER! I DO NOT CONDONE ILLEGAL DRUG USE! This also serves as a trigger warning. Please keep in mind that while the manga doesn't cover the darker elements of the villains' daily lives doesn't mean it isn't there. Let me know if this does trigger any of you and I will make it easier for you to get the entire story without having to go over those parts. Whether it's through PMs or in reviews, I go through both daily.

The lighthearted beginning has come to a close as the villains show their faces. This is your final warning.

Lights seem brighter and each color more vivid and vibrant than the last, he saw more of the world's detail than he ever could before. The hammering, yet steady beat of his heart sounded stronger and he felt completely alive. That burn he had missed from his youth was coursing through him, putting him on edge with each step he took away from her. Dabi inhales deeply as he runs his hand through his hair. He couldn't go back to the base like this. He was sure his irises were blown out, the streetlights nearly blinding him with the subtle brightness. Huffing in irritation, Dabi tilts his head down slightly so his shaggy hair could cover his eyes. The street had gained a few thugs once he got into his part of town, not too out in the open but still easily noticeable if you're paying attention. Yet they were on his side of the street blocking the path home. A sadistic smirk graces Dabi's lips, his gaze locks on the biggest thug of the small group of four while they head into the alley he usually takes as a shortcut. He follows after them calmly, completely silent on his feet as he quickly catches up to them. No one would miss a few random criminals disappearing, making them fair game for the villain as they continue cluelessly towards the League's hideout.

"What do we have here?" Dabi finally speaks up as the group is about to cross the street. "You're not thinking about joining the League are you?" The thugs turn around quickly once he spoke, fear dancing in their eyes.

"W-we wanted a few pointers…" the biggest male answers timidly as he knew exactly who Dabi is."You realize the moment you pathetic pieces of shit enter that building you're dust, right?" Dabi rolls his eyes. "How the hell do you even know where we are?"

"We were willing to take that chance!" another thug snaps.

"Oh?" Dabi chuckles. "Then you already have a death wish." The group tries running for the door as soon as he spoke, yet only makes it halfway across before erupting in blue flames. Dabi watches his flames dance on their bodies as laughter bubbles out of his throat. He didn't feel his usual pain when using his quirk. If he didn't know better he would think that he had become immune to it completely, but an image of Kagome flashes through his mind. "If you want this to stop, you should be more careful with your quirk use." While she was completely right, he didn't care in the slightest. Besides, the more he gets hurt, the more she has to heal him.

Entering the base, Dabi keeps the smirk on his face as he passes Shippo. Said demon was glaring at him the moment he opened the door, holding back a snarl towards the smug villain. "What the fuck were you doing, Dabi?" Shippo snaps out, causing the room to go silent. He was covered in her scent, not to mention the presence of the jewel's power radiating off of him.

"Just out handling some business," Dabi chuckles with a wink before disappearing to the back. No need to fight fire with fire.

Barely managing to get back into bed after her breakdown, Kagome is the last to wake up as she slowly dresses for the day. The exam was today and she couldn't bring herself to be excited about it, her mind swarming with thoughts of the night before. "You'll be a good little girl and do as I say." A chill runs through her as she looks at herself in the mirror to inspect her uniform. She didn't deserve to be wearing this, she didn't deserve to continue her training, and she didn't deserve the trust of her friends. Tears sting her eyes as more of those thoughts raced in her mind, feeling the hole in her heart tear more. Yet she didn't have time to drown herself with her guilt. Fixing herself and putting on an emotional mask, Kagome leaves her dorm to meet up with her class for the exam. Once in sight of her class, she waves with a bright smile as she gains their attention. "Good morning!"

"Good morning, 'Gome!" Izuku cheers back, his excitement uncontainable at this point. He had his best friend back and they were able to take the exam together, he couldn't be happier. Yet why didn't Kagome's smile reach her eyes? "How did you sleep?"

"I couldn't really," she answers sheepishly. "I had a lot of memories to sort through." That was a lie, Izuku noticed instantly but it was better not to ask. The students move onto the bus once it arrives, the excitement high for everyone on board. Kagome takes a window seat in the back, hoping the ride over would be uneventful. Luck was never usually on her side, however. Todoroki is quick to take the open seat on her right, the subtle warmth pulling her attention from the window as the bus begins its journey.

"How are you, Kagome?" he speaks softly. Their eyes meet and lock onto each other. It had seemed they had switched eyes entirely except for the color. Todoroki held more hope and motivation than when they first met while Kagome's was swimming in despair. The bags under her eyes were barely noticeable and that's what made his heart sink. Or perhaps it was the slight fear her eyes gained looking at his right eye.

"I'm alright," she rushes out as she flinches from the obvious lie. "I didn't get much sleep last night, sorry Todo-"

"Shoto," he corrects her. "And lying doesn't suit you." So she was hiding something from them even if it was this emotionally exhausting. Yet he couldn't help but think back to the Sports Festival when he had confronted her about what she yelled with Izuku. "You don't have to tell me, but I'm here if you ever need someone to go to." He wanted to show her that he cared for her, wanted to know how to convey his concern for her. "What is making those beautiful eyes so sad?" Kagome blushes brightly at the question yet couldn't fight back the tears spilling down her cheeks.

"You can't use my lines against me, Shoto! That's not fair!" she whines with a sniffle but couldn't help the small smile pulling at her lips. The fact that he remembered what she told him made her heart flutter a bit before sinking lower. He remembered because he cares and trusts her. The ride ended shortly after, the energy shifting from excitement to anxiousness in a matter of seconds. The class quickly gets off the bus to grab their costumes and meet the other students from the different schools.

"Still have no clue what this test's about…" Mineta says with his nerves on end. "Can we really earn our licenses?" Aizawa steps behind him to state that they will earn them.

"Earn your provisional licenses by passing this test," their teacher continues, yet Kagome could bring herself to pay much attention. That was until a student from a different school shouts "ULTRA" with Kirishima. Kagome jumps from the loudness of it and ends up bumping into Izuku while the student is extra with his apology, smacking his head on the ground. Other students come up from behind him, classmates it seemed as they all had the same hat on. The sight of blood on his face when he stood caused Kagome's body to react on its own.

"Are you ok?" she asks with concern. "You don't have a concussion, do you? I can check if you'd like."

"Concussion? No way I feel perfectly fine," he beams.

"There's a bit of blood, are you sure?"

"I freakin' love blood!" Inasa cheers out proudly, making Kagome smile at him. "Is that part of your quirk? You're like a combat medic."

"That's one way to put it," Kagome chuckles softly. "But everyone should be in top shape, right? Let me check your head." Without much more hesitation, Inasa leans down a bit and lifts Kagome by her waist to his height.

"This should help!" Unfazed by the sudden action, Kagome takes his hat off and gently places her hand on his forehead. The familiar glow around her hand brightens as Inasa inhales sharply at the sudden rush.
"All done!" Kagome beams out as she pulls her hand away. Inasa's eyes dilate slightly as he sets her down.

"Is your healing a quirk enhancer? That's freakin' awesome!" the male shouts loudly as he raises a fist. Adrenaline floods his veins, giving the taller student a sudden chill. "I feel amazing! Thank you!"

"Anytime, Yoarashi!" Kagome cheers back, yet there was a familiar aura behind the boisterous male that put her on edge. Her eyes lock with the blonde standing near the class, the noise around Kagome suddenly becoming radio static as her heart sped up. This girl isn't who she says she is, this was a villain in disguise. She could feel parts of Dabi and Shippo in her aura and that's what terrifies her. Toga was infiltrating their exam but Kagome couldn't tell anyone without Dabi doing something about it. The spike in Toga's aura let her know that she had caught on herself, an aloof smile gracing the disguised villain's lips.

"Higurashi! Oh my god, it's Higurashi!" Hearing someone excitedly shouting her name breaks Kagome's attention from the imposter as she looks at the person running towards her. "It's such an honor to meet you!" Getting hit with their aura, Kagome relaxes and smiles at them.

"You're Ginta's son, aren't you?" The wolf yokai nods excitedly.

"Jikoku. I've heard so much about you from Uncle Koga and Dad! Wow, you really are as pretty as they say," the wolf rambles on excitedly as he grabs her hands, making Kagome blush brightly just imagining what those wolves have told him. "I really wanted to meet you when your school was doing internships but you chose Lord Sesshomaru," Jikoku sighs out.

"O-ok Jikoku, s-slow down a bit…" Kagome tries to cut in.

"Now I get to see you first hand! This is amazing! Uncle says you're amazing with a bow and even better with your words." Kagome was trapped it seemed. Her classmates were talking to other students; wait, was she seeing another Izuku? "But man seeing you in the Sports Festival was insane! Using Inuyasha's sword to try and take out Bakugo like that!" Kagome prepares for the worst once Jikoku says the blond's name, already hearing him stomping over to say something. "I still can't get over it! You're incredible! Uncle wasn't lying when he said you had a fire in you. He's always saying how you-"

"Oi! What the hell are you doing talking to Kagome like you know her?!" Katsuki cuts him off with a snap as he shoves himself between the yokai and Kagome. The demon smirks as he gets a good look at Katsuki.

"Oh sorry, didn't know she was already spoken for," he chuckles as the blond becomes flustered.

"Jikoku, that's not-"

"So then you're single?" Jikoku beams as Kagome's jaw slightly drops. She was used to Koga being forward like this but for another wolf to do so was different. Jikoku was certainly attractive, his jawline sharp and his metallic grey eyes held pride and courage. Definitely an Okami.

"O-of course I'm single!" she blurts out from embarrassment. "Wh-"

"It's a date then!" he cuts in. "We'll meet up after the exa-"

"Like hell it is!" Katsuki snaps, grabbing Jikoku's shirt collar and pulling him closer. "She doesn't need any distractions from training, jackass." Jikoku, however, laughs with a proud smile. The blond's scent was burning with anger and jealousy, causing the wolf demon to laugh more. "Try anything else-"

"Of course, of course. Training always comes first!" the wolf cuts in agreeing he easily pulls Katsuki's hand off his shirt, throwing it to the side. As if "But if you ever catch yourself with freetime, you know where to find me, Ka-go-me," his tone lowers as he sounds out her name like it was a spell on his lips. Nearly starstruck, Kagome blushes as she hides behind Katsuki while Jikoku chuckles and speeds away to join the rest of his class.

"You piece of shit, get back here!" Katsuki yells after him as small explosions spark from his clenched fists. "I'll kill you!"

"Katsuki you can't say that! You're a hero in training for crying out loud!" Kagome snaps as she pulls at his arm. "That and you're making a scene," she lowers her voice as the next class greets them.
