Veruca had went straight back home after what happened between her and her parents. When she got back home, she had slammed the door behind her at once, then,opened it again and slammed it again. Upon entering into the house, she shut the door and started crying. Veruca slid down the door sobbing while leaning against on the door. She sat on the floor crying. She couldn't believe that her own father would hit her. When she was a child her father was very affectionate towards her by giving and buying her everything that she has ever wanted. Well, that all changed when she went to the factory when her father became more "strict" with her. Things had gotten even worse when she started dating Mike, then, later ended up pregnant with Emma. Her father did not like that at all.
Even though Veruca loves Emma, she had to admit that she wasn't being careful. She had been with Mike and did not use birth control. This meant Emma was a surprise , not planned for but instantly loved. Now, her father had hit her and she didn't know what to do anymore. Her father tried to fool a couple into taking her baby. He couldn't be trusted. Veruca didn't want Emma to be anywhere near her father anymore. Veruca cried and cried. The housekeeper Nancy had came up to her,
"Ms.Teavee ,what happened?",asked Nancy.
Veruca looked up at Nancy
"My father hit me.",answered Veruca.
Nancy stared in disbelief,
"What why would he do that!?",shouted Nancy in shock.
"I don't know what it was, because, I was mad at him. He tried to lie to a couple and say I was going to put Emma up for adoption. So, we were arguing. Mommy came into the room. He got mad at her and I don't want him to take it out on her, so ,he turned around and hit me.",explained Veruca.
after Veruca had explained that it had made Nancy even in more in shock
"Would you like to see your baby?",asked Nancy.
That made Veruca stop crying as she looked up at Nancy. The thought of seeing her daughter at home after what had happened brought a smile to her face.
"Yes.",answered Veruca.
