13. Chapter 13:I Feel Bad

As Mike and Veruca continued heading back home, the traffic finally let up. Once they finally reached to the house, they got out of the car. Veruca was able to take baby Emma out of her car seat, and carried her in her arms. The butler opened the front door of the house. Mike and Veruca hadn't said a word to each other ever since they had dropped off Jose. so when they looked around the house they could see there was no sign of Nancy…so as they were in even more silence they then had looked at each other

"I feel bad.",said Veruca.

Mike could already tell that Veruca was already talking about Jose.

"I know wish we could do something about it.",said Mike.

The both of them were looking at each other then looked at baby Emma. Then, they looked at each other knowing that what is really important right now which is Veruca's parents are divorcing!
