We visit the Distortion World where we see Giratina and Ruby's mother: Summer, Back on Remnant, Lillipup tried to fight off some Beowolves until Qrow showed up. Minutes later, Giratina appears, finishing off the rest of them and brings Summer back to her family.

Now, the question is, will Giratina return? We'll have to wait and find out. Without further ado, let's get back into it!

*Patch. Rose-Xiao Long Residence. 9:00 am*

*Yang Xiao Long. Age: 9*

Two years had passed since Summer Rose was brought back to the family, courtesy of Giratina, and things were a lot better in the household. The mood was a lot brighter than before. Summer had explained to her family what Pokemon were and how they were appearing all over Remnant. Thankfully, Ruby got to keep Lillipup, much to Ruby's happiness as well as Zwei's.

Yang was happy that her sister had a new friend, but she couldn't help feeling a little jealous at her sister's luck at finding Lillipup. "Sweetie, are you okay?" Summer asked, walking up to the young blonde.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Yang answered rather quickly which tipped Summer off that she wasn't okay.

"Yang, you know better than to try and lie to me." Summer said sternly, but softly. "What is it?"

Sighing in defeat, Yang knew she couldn't get out of this one. "Well, I-I am j-jealous."

"Jealous? Of what, dear?" Summer asked.

"Ruby just wandered near the back of the house and found that little guy." Yang explained. "Then later, a giant-ass dragon comes out of nowhere and brings you back!" The young blonde lowered her hands and panted a tiny bit. "This made me wonder if I'll find my own Pokemon."

"Oh, Yang." Summer wrapped her arms around her second daughter. "Just because Ruby found a Pokemon doesn't mean you won't find one."

"You think so?" Yang looked up to her mother.

"Hey, a Pokemon saved me and kept me alive for two years." Summer reminded with a smile. "I have a feeling you'll find one."

*Patch. Oldale Town. Taiyang & Yang. 11:52 am*

Tai and Yang were having a father-daughter trip in Oldale. Summer told her husband about her conversation with Yang, so Tai took it upon himself to try and cheer her up. So far, it was working. Currently, they were eating lunch together. "Thanks for bringing me out here, Dad." Yang smiled.

"No problem, my little dragon." Tai smiled back. He'd been a lot cheerier since Summer's return and it was showing.

"You've been a lot happier in the past couple years." Yang commented with a grin.

"Of course I am, sweetheart. Your mother is alive and back in our lives." Tai smiled wider. Just as he was about to continue, the two heard a trash can being knocked over. Nodding to each other, they went to investigate. What they saw surprised them. It was an orange lizard with fire on its tail with large blue eyes, four large teeth on the sides of its mouth, claws on its feet, and stubby hands. "What is this?"

"A Pokemon?" Yang whispered. "Come on, little guy." The lizard pokemon was hesitant and moved away from the father and daughter. "Shh. It's okay. We won't hurt you."

"Char." The pokemon whimpered and didn't move at first. Seeing Yang's hand and her expression, it began inching closer. "Charmander."

"Is that your name? Charmander?" Yang asked softly.

"Get away from that Pokemon!" A voice shouted. Yang and Tai looked to see a young man wearing a black uniform with a big letter R on the cap.

"Why do you want Charmander?" Yang asked.

"That's none of your concern, you little brat!" The young man shouted.

"Hey! No one calls my little dragon that!" Tai shouted back.

"I don't care! Just give me the Pokemon!" The young man demanded.

"No!" Yang defied.

The young man growled and was about to throw out a Poke-Ball, but Tai punched him in the face before he could do so. The young man's nose was already bleeding. "You bastard!" Suddenly, Yang kicked him in the shins, sending him onto one knee. Charmander was peeking from behind its hiding spot, just watching the two humans protect it, seemingly.

However, the young man managed to get up and lunge towards the Charmander and grab it. "You're coming with me." Before he could move any further, Yang jumped into the air and slammed into his back, making him release the lizard pokemon. Tai then picked him up and pinned him against the wall. "Don't ever mess with me or my daughter again." With a final punch, the young man was knocked out.

"Charmander!" Yang called out, worry evident in her voice. Charmander crawled out toward the young blonde. "Are you okay?"

"Mander." Charmander responded with a small smile.

"I'm glad. Come with us. I'll take care of you." Yang smiled, reaching her hand out again. Charmander moved forward slowly. Eventually, it touched Yang's hand and nuzzled it. "There we go. It's okay."

"Charmander." Charmander pointed to it's tail flame.

"Oh, you need that to keep burning? Okay. I'll walk real slow." Yang reassured, picking up the lizard Pokemon and began walking slowly back to the house, her father right behind her.

*Patch. Rose-Xiao Long Residence. 13:01 pm*

Yang, Tai, and Charmander made it back to the house. When they went inside, Ruby and Summer were checking out a scroll. Getting closer, the two blondes saw that this scroll was red instead of the usual white. "What's with this scroll?" Yang asked, still holding Charmander.

"Apparently, this particular scroll scanned Lillipup here and it changed colors in a second." Summer answered. "Now, my little rose is fiddling with the Pokemon-centered functions."

"I have a Poke-Scroll!" Ruby cheered, Lillipup jumping up in the air. "Whoa! Yang, you found a Pokemon!"

"Yep. This is Charmander" Yang smiled. "Some thug was trying to steal this little guy off the street, and he insulted me!"

Summer sighed. "Le tme guess. Tai then went papa bear on said thug."

"Yep!" Tai puffed his chest out in pride. The rest of the family laughed, Charmander and Lillipup laughing with them in their own way.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked the second flashback chapter of Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. Yang has officially gotten her first Pokemon: Charmander, and beaten up a Team Rocket thug with her father, Taiyang after said thug insulted Yang, triggering the papa bear. After seeing that, Charmander decided to join Yang back home. This shows there will still be human violence.
