Hello, fellow Trainers and Hunters. Centurion Maximo here and welcome back to Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. Well, the last chapter was the final flashback chapter of the main eight with Pyrrha Nikos whose Pokemon ends up being a Bagon which she helped fight off a small group of Makuhita. We also got to see Pyrrha's mother: Athena Nikos who's worried about her daughter in certain social areas, particularly friendship.

*Vale. Dust 'N' Dawn Shop. 19:00 pm*

*Ruby Rose. Age 15. Present Day*

Ruby Rose was looking around in the shop with Lillipup very close by. She took out a vial of fire dust and inspected it. "What do you think, Rosebud?"

Rosebud tilted her head cutely to the left for a minute before nodding. "Lillipup."

"Thanks." Ruby smiled. She was happy that she discovered the Pokemon, still remembering Giratina brought her mom back to her.

Suddenly, the front door was kicked in. Roman Torchwick and a couple of Team Galactic Grunts walked in, Roman smirking. One of the Team Galactic Grunts pointed a stolen Atlesian Military Pistol at the shopkeeper that had his hands up. "Take all the Dust, and any Pokemon that may be in here."

Another of the Grunts looked around and spotted Ruby with her Lillipup which she was holding. Putting on a stern face, he walked up to the young redhead and pointed an Atlesian Military Pistol at her. "Hand me your Pokemon."

"What? What's going on?" Ruby asked, pretending to be oblivious.

"Your Pokemon. Hand it over." The Team Galactic Grunt repeated.

"Hhhmmm…" Ruby pretended to think about it. Next thing the Grunt knew, he was kicked through the window by Ruby, who was still holding Rosebud.

"Oohh…" The Grunt groaned.

Roman and others saw this and looked at Ruby. "Get her." He ordered.

Ruby set Rosebud down and brought out her weapon: Crescent Rose in all its glory. "Bring it on." A couple of Grunts opened fire while others brought out Zubats. "Alright, Rosebud. Let's do this."

"Lillipup!" Rosebud barked.

"Zubat, Supersonic!" The Team Galactic Grunt ordered. The Zubat fired an array of bright yellow rings at Rosebud who barely managed to dodge the attack.

"Nice evasion, Rosebud!" Ruby cheered.

The Team Galactic Grunt growled lightly. "You just got lucky. Zubat, Leech Life!" Zubat actually hit Rosebud this time with a small dart-like object that drained a tiny bit of Rosebud's life force.

"Rosebud!" Ruby screamed in worry.

"There we go. Now, you're done." The Grunt smirked. Zubat, use another Leech Life!" Zubat fired another dart, but Rosebud had enough strength to evade again.

"Quickly, Rosebud! Jump up and use Tackle!" Ruby ordered.

"Lillipup!" Rosebud barked as she jumped into the air and knocked the enemy Zubat onto the ground.

"Zubat!" The Galactic Grunt shouted. He then growled at Ruby as he brought his stolen Atlesian Military Pistol at Ruby who wasn't worried in the slightest as she blocked the shots with Crescent Rose by spinning it fast. "Damn it!" Ruby then sliced up his weapon with a small smirk.

Suddenly, a Bullhead showed up. "Our ride's here, Little Red!" Roman grinned as he made his way up a building with the other Team Galactic Grunts. Once they reached the top of the building where the Bullhead was hovering, Ruby and Rosebud made their way up even faster. "Boys and girls, use your Pokemon as cover until we're all on the Bullhead!"

Zubats, Stunkys, and Glameows were sent out. "Oh, crapbaskets." Ruby muttered. Rosebud whimpered as they both knew they couldn't take them all on.

From out of nowhere, a new voice shouted "Mismagius! Thunder!" Thunderclouds appeared almost magically when just as quickly lightning bolts rained down on the Team Galactic Pokemon, knocking them all out in one shot.

"Holy fuck!" One of the Team Galactic Grunts swore as they recalled their Pokemon. Everyone there looked to see an older woman with blonde hair, green eyes and glasses wearing a white dress shirt, black dress skirt, black boots, and a purple cape with a crop. A Mismagius floated down beside her.

"Oh, come on!" Roman groaned. An unknown figure only shown to have red eyes stepped up and threw a fire dust grenade at Ruby and the woman which obscured their vision, allowing Roman and the others to escape.

"Oh… A real Huntress! Can I have your autograph?" Ruby's silver eyes shone in a child-like manner.

*Vale. Vale Police Department Station. 20:00 pm*

The woman was circling around Ruby who was sitting in a chair in front of a table petting Rosebud who was sleeping in her lap. "I hope you realize your actions tonight will not be taken lightly. You put yourself and others in great danger.

"But they started it!" Ruby cutely retorted.

"If it were up to me, I would have sent you back home with a pat on the back, and a slap on the wrist." The woman hit the table with her crop to emphasize the point, making Ruby flinch. "However, there is someone here who would like to see you." Ruby had a confused look as a white-haired man wearing a green coat with a brighter green undershirt walked in carrying a coffee mug and a plate of cookies with a Noctowl walking in behind him.

"Ruby Rose." The man said. "You have silver eyes."

"Umm…" Ruby didn't know how to respond to that.

"Suddenly, a voice screamed "WHERE IS MY LITTLE ROSE?!" Seconds later, Summer burst into the room and hugged her daughter. "Oh, Ruby. Are you okay?"

"I'm okay, Mom." Ruby smiled.

"Lillipup!" Rosebud barked, happy to see Summer.

"Hello to you, too, Rosebud." Summer rubbed Rosebud's head before turning to the man and woman who had slack-jawed looks. "Hey, Oz, Glynda."

"S-Summer?" Glynda whispered, hoping this wasn't a trick of her imagination.

"It's me, Goodwitch." Summer smiled before looking at Ozpin. "Ozpin."

"How are you…" Ozpin couldn't even finish his sentence as he was too shocked to continue.

"It's a long story." Summer sighed. "But I heard Ruby was in a scuffle and rushed down here."

"Your daughter is fine, Summer, but I do not condone her actions." Glynda gained a frown.

"I know she wants to come to my school." Ozpin smirked.

"Yes." Ruby spoke up. "I want to, but not just to kill Grimm. I feel like I can make a difference ever since I found Rosebud here back home. Mom being brought back made me realize that reality isn't a fairy tale, but maybe it can be if I help it along."

"That's very admirable, Miss Rose." Ozpin nodded.

"Unfortunately, I'm still at Signal and still have two more years." Ruby hung her head a little low after saying that. "My sister's starting there this year. I just want to help people and help them realize they can live their lives without fear."

"Ruby, that was beautiful." Summer said dramatically, having a hand over her heart.

"Mom…" Ruby blushed a tiny bit. Seeing her conviction, Ozpin and Glynda looked at each other and made their decision.

*Vale. Vale Warehouse District. 22:12 pm*

"Well, that was embarrassing." A Team Galactic Grunt deadpanned.

"What was your first clue?! We got beaten by a 15-year old!" A second Galactic Grunt shouted.

"Quiet, everyone!" Roman shouted. "We still got the dust, but we didn't get any Pokemon."

"The higher-ups aren't gonna like this." The third Galactic Grunt reminded.

"We'll just have to compensate, won't we." Roman snarked.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. This is the first chapter of the main story. The first major difference is that Roman shows up with Team Galactic Grunts instead of Junior's men. We see the first appearance of Glynda Goodwitch with a Mismagius. In the police station, Ozpin and Glynda are beyond shocked with Summer walking in. With Team Galactic and Roman, they may have gotten away with the dust, but they didn't get any new Pokemon all because of a 15-year old girl. That's gotta be embarrassing.

Also, Ruby has officially named her Lillipup Rosebud. As usual, if anyone has any ideas for this story, please let me know in the comments/reviews, or personally PM me.
