Hello, fellow trainers. Centurion Maximo here and welcome back to Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. In the last chapter, Jaune and Pyrrha went to Vale with Velvet in tow. While there, the trio encounters a Buneary which she befriends and names Thumper. Later on, the three meet Jaune's childhood friend Ebonie Star who tells them of Team Galactic and possible White Fang activity in Vale. Also, Ebonie sparks some jealousy within Pyrrha.

Now, I think we should get to Emerald Forest Cavern!

*Beacon Academy. Team JNPR's Dorm. 12:00 pm*

Teams RWBY and JNPR were in JNPR's dorm with their Pokemon out with them. It had only been a day since Jaune, Pyrrha, and Velvet met Ebonie Star. Returning Velvet back to her dorm gave the two a chance to meet the rest of Team CFVY. The two had told Nora, Ren, and Team RWBY what Ebonie told them. "Team Galactic?" Ren raised an eyebrow.

"Yep. Do any of you know what these Team Galactic guys look like?" Jaune asked.

"I believe I do." Weiss took a minute to fish out a picture from her Poke-Scroll, Nicholas watching in curiosity. The heiress pulled up a picture of two Team Galactic cronies. "They look like this." When she displayed the pic to everyone, Nicholas gained a hostile expression, remembering what happened when he and Weiss first met.

"I feel like I shouldn't be saying anything about their hair color and uniforms, but why display what bad guy team you're on?" Yang asked, snickering a little.

"Well, Ebonie told us that they have some sort of operation planned in Vale." Jaune continued. "It will be down at the docks involving dust shipments."

"Not only that, but she mentioned the White Fang would be there as well." Pyrrha mentioned, making Blake sit at direct attention, as well as Weiss.

"Before we continue however, Blake, I think it's time." Jaune said.

Blake started to panic. "Jaune, h-how d-did you…" The blonde knight cut her off with a hand.

"Blake, I've seen your bow twitch several times now, not to mention Ace here likes to keep tabs on all my friends." Jaune deadpanned with Ace squawking in agreement.

Blake sighed looking at everyone, sighed and removed her bow, revealing two black cat ears. "I'm impressed, Jaune."

"Aww, they're so cute." Nora cooed.

"Blake…" Weiss started. "Does this mean you are part of the White Fang?"

"I used to be." Blake hung her head a little low. "I'm not exactly happy about it at this point."

"Blake, I would have a reaction, but… Nicholas has been helping me reign in my assumptions." Weiss smiled at her Piplup. "Besides, you're my friend, so if you don't feel like telling us everything right now, that's fine. I just want you to trust us more before you do." She finished.

Blake smiled at Weiss, tearing up a little. "Of course."

"Alright, now there's something you haven't told us, Jaune." Yang said.

"What's that?" Jaune asked.

"Who is Ebonie? Your childhood sweetheart?" Yang waggled her eyebrows with a grin, making Pyrrha tense up slightly.

"No, she and I are childhood best friends." Jaune smiled goodnaturedly, calming Pyrrha down.

"I'm more concerned about Team Galactic." Ruby brought up. "Did anyone else meet anyone like what Weiss just showed us?"

"No, but remember the day Dad and I found Johnny?" Yang asked back.

"Yeah." Ruby nodded.

"We ran into a thug that wore black, including a hat. That guy had a red R on his shirt." Yang responded.

"Hey, that sounds like someone Renny and I fought off when we found Thor years ago." Nora voiced. "Big red R on the shirt, only it was a girl."

"So, there are more bad guys than Team Galactic and the White Fang, no offense, Blake." Ruby apologized.

"I think we should check out the docks when the time comes." Blake suggested.

"Well, Ebonie did say she'd contact me if she hears anything." Jaune informed. "So, she's my source."

"Nice." Yang smiled. "We're not in the dark."

"I suggest we go to Vale and check things out." Weiss added, thinking hard about all this. "That way, we're not out of our element."

There was a knock on the door. Ruby got up and answered it, seeing it was Ozpin. "Oh, hello, Professor Ozpin."

"Hello, Ms. Rose." Ozpin smiled slightly. "Could I borrow you, your team, and JNPR?"

"Sure." Teams RWBY and JNPR left the dorm room and were in Ozpin's office. "So, what do you need?"

"Do you remember the painting of that Pokemon you found at initiation?" Ozpin asked.

"Yeah." The two teams answered.

"Well, Doctor Oobleck and I went investigating and discovered a hidden cavern behind the ruins." Ozpin revealed.

"Really?" Pyrrha asked.

"Indeed." Ms. Nikos." Ozpin nodded. "I want you eight to check it out since your Pokemon can be of great assistance. You will be going with Professor Rose."

"Understood, Professor." Ruby smiled, looking forward to working with her mother.

"Also, be very careful. There might be wild Pokemon in the cavern." Ozpin warned.

*Beacon Academy. Emerald Forest. Teams RWBY & JNPR. 13:00 pm*

An hour later, both teams were walking through the forest with Summer Rose in the front. Ruby was right beside her mom, enjoying spending time with her. The rest of her team and JNPR were making conversation when Nora heard rustling. "Guys, I hear something." She said quickly.

Everyone, including Summer and Ruby got into combat stances, ready to fight off any Grimm. However, what emerged wasn't a Grimm. Rather, it was a tan sloth-like Pokemon with two long white claws on its hands and feet, a half-lidded expression in its eyes, a dopey smile, A tuft of hair sticking up on its head, a large snout with two thin slits, and two large brown stripes on its back. Nora had little sparkles in her turquoise eyes. "Ooooohhh… a Sloth Pokemon!"

"A Slakoth." Summer said, a little wide-eyed that Slakoth would be residing in Emerald Forest.

The rest were still wary, but the Slakoth didn't seem to want to fight. Nora offered a hand and the Slakoth carefully climbed up. Once it was on her back, it clasped its hands together around her neck softly and fell asleep, cutely snoring.

"Aw, that's adorable!" Ruby cooed.

"Okay, that is pretty cute." Weiss admitted.

"What will you name it?" Summer asked, releasing her stance.

Nora thought for a minute before snapping her fingers. "Moss."

"That's a good name." Blake smiled lightly.

Minutes after Nora befriended Moss, they continued their mission to the ruins. Nora had Moss in a Poke-Ball now just to be safe. They reached the painting of the ancient Pokemon when they spotted a massive opening behind the ruins. "Alright, everyone: Turn on your lights." Summer ordered. Everyone did just that.

Inside the cave, everyone stopped walking and sat down. "Alright. We need a plan before we head in further." Summer reminded. "Anyone have any ideas?"

"I do." Jaune said. "We should have Weiss and Ren in the front."

"Why do you say that, vomit-boy?" Yang raised an eyebrow.

"Nicholas is a water-type and Lotus is a grass-type. They'll both be super effective against any rock-types we might encounter here." Jaune reasoned. "Yang, I'm sorry, but Johnny is better off from any rock-types as he's weak to them along with Ace. Nora, you'll have to stay in the back as well."

"Aww…" Nora pouted, but relented.

"Pyrrha, you'll be right behind Weiss and Ren as Achilles is a dragon-type, so he may be able to tank a bit. Blake, you'll be in the middle with Shadow." Jaune finished.

"That's… actually reasonable, Arc. Good plan." Weiss smirked.

"Thank you, Weiss. Let's take position." Jaune said. Everyone took their places, then made their way further into the cave. As they traveled further, Blake's ears picked up sounds, made easier as she wasn't wearing her bow.

"Guys, we're not alone here anymore." Blake stated. Suddenly, Ruby moved out of the way of a chucked rock.

"Whoa!" Ruby exclaimed. Moving their lights up, the group saw a pack of Geodudes and Zubats. "We've been ambushed!" The Geodudes and Zubats began moving in, attacking the group. The Zubats were providing distraction while the Geodudes threw rocks at them. "Go, Rosebud! Go, Thorn!" She brought out her Lillipup and Wurmple. She also brought out Crescent Rose. "Okay, you two! We're going to run interference against the Zubats!" Rosebud and Thorn nodded, ready to do their best.

"Nora, I know I said stay in the back because of the Geodudes, but Thor is super effective against the Zubats as they're flying-type as well as poison. Have Thor focus on them!" Jaune re-ordered.

"Will do, fearless leader!" Nora grinned as she brought out her Joltik. "Thor, I'm going to fire a shock grenade. Hop on!" Thor chittered and jumped on the shock grenade just as his trainer fired it. Once it reached a group of Zubat, Thorn helped it reach the entire group, shocking them and bringing them down. "Sweet! It worked!"

Meanwhile, Nicholas was fighting off Geodudes with Lotus watching his back. "Nicholas, use Bubble!" Weiss ordered. Nicholas suddenly fired a bunch of bubbles from his mouth, hitting the Geodudes and weakening them, though one managed to barely escape the water attack and crash into a rock wall and fell down. "Good work!" She smiled.

"Finish them off, Lotus! Use Absorb!" Ren shouted and his Treecko did just that, draining the Geodudes of their HP, restoring his own. "Nice! Finish them off, Weiss!" Weiss nodded and had Nicholas use another Bubble attack, finishing off the Geodudes. The remaining Geodudes and Zubats fled off.

"Whoo! We did it"! Nora cheered, cuddling Thor.

Geo...dude." They all heard a groan. They saw one remaining Geodude wounded. Everyone got into a ready position to fight again should it call for more of it's friends, but Yang of all people decided to walk up to it.

"Heym you okay?" Yang asked softly.

"Geodude." The Geodude raised it's fists, but couldn't find itself able to with it's right one.

"Hey, it's okay. Let me help." Yang said, her voice still soft. The Geodude lowered it's fists and Yang sprayed a Potion on the wound, healing it. "There. Better?" The Geodude nodded. "Hey, how bout you come with us? With me?" The Geodude seemed to think about it for a minute before nodding again. "Alright, then welcome to my Pokemon team as it's second member, Ben." Yang instantly named hew new companion.

"Awesome, Yang!" Ruby cheered before noticing her Wurmple spraying string on itself. "Thorn."

Summer's eyes widened seeing this. "Ruby, Thorn is evolving." She breathed with a smile.

"Evolving?" Ruby asked.

"Most Pokemon evolve into stronger forms." Summer answered. Seconds later, Thorn had finished evolving into a Silcoon.

"Whoa..." Ruby breathed, picking up the newly evolved Thorn, carefully avoiding the spines. "Awesome..."

A few minutes later, they were back on the move. When they reached the end of the cavern, they were shocked into awe and silence when they saw paintings of not only the Pokemon they saw in the ruins, but many other awesome-looking Pokemon, including Giratina. "Mom, Yang. Look at this." Ruby said. When the two came over, they looked at the painting of the Pokemon that brought Summer back to them. "Giratina..." She breathed.

"I wonder how he's doing..." Yang's thoughts drifted to the Pokemon that returned their mother to them.

"Oh, I have a feeling he'd doing just fine." Summer smiled, bringing in her daughters for a hug.

With the others, they were just marveling at the architecture. Even Nora was calm and quiet. "Wow..." Weiss was floored.

"This is incredible..." Jaune whispered.

"I wonder who made all this..." Blake wondered.

"I think we'll let Professor Ozpin figure it out or Professor Oobleck back at Beacon." Summer spoke up. "Come on, everyone. Let's head back." The group began heading out of the cavern. Who knows? Maybe they'd come back here again someday.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. Nora got her second Pokemon in a Slakoth which she named Moss. Later, they make it to and enter Emerald Forest Cavern. Jaune shows off his strategic skills a bit here by sending Weiss and Ren in front because Nicholas is a water-type while Lotus is a grass-type which are both super effective against rock-types. Sure enough, they're attacked by Geodudes as well as Zubats. Nora uses Thor to help set of a new shock grenade she fires, bringing down most of the Zubats.

In the end, they win, though Yang helps a wounded Geodude left behind. In return, the blonde takes Geodude with her and names him Ben, giving Johnny a new friend. However, that's not all that happens as Ruby's Wurmple evolves into a Silcoon.

Reaching the end of the cavern, the group discovers paintings of more Pokemon, leaving them all speechless.
