Chapter 13

Sam and Daniel returned to Knight Industries after class. They were soon greeted by Bonnie and Earnest as Bonnie wanted to run Earnest's theory by Sam. They had just walked into the warehouse still dressed as troubled teens.

Bonnie stood up. "Sam! Earnest and I were talking and we want to run a theory buy you."

She came to the computer table "Shoot." she stated.

"You said Cassie sent you home after you overshot your destination from 1969." Bonnie stated.

She nodded. "Cassie was there."

"What if we use the wormhole but recalculate the stellar drift. Instead of sending you to another planet at modern time, we calculate the wormhole to send you back to earth but aim it to hit earth in 2004."

Sam pondered. "You mean intercept with earth as the galaxy goes through space?"

"Exactly." she nodded.

"That's must be how Cassie did it." she agreed. "Question is how to get that calculation and how to get the Gate to lock onto itself."

Daniel recalled. "She wore a ring, touched it and wormhole established without the gate dialing."

Sam nodded. "You only need one symbol. Earth's." She then looked to Bonnie. "The only computer I know that can make that calculation currently is KITT."

Bonnie stated. "I would need permission of Wilton Knight to hook KITT up to the gate."

Earnest stated. "If you can get the alternate stellar drift calculations then you can use the mini gate to gather intel. You can use it as a doorway to any planet at any time."

Daniel stood beside himself. "That would be a game changer."

Sam agreed. "Yes it would." She then stated. "We would need KITT on both sides. On this side to send us home and in the future to send us back with intel."

Bonnie assured. "I can make sure KITT is there in the future."

Daniel stated. "We can use KITT to control the fine tune to Gate so it can send us to Earth in the future and then send us back to Earth in 1984 to give intel. We can find out what happens to Mr. Hinckley and the suit. The Ra cult. Airwolf. All that."

"This is a huge tactical advantage." Sam agreed. "Get permission, Bonnie." She then asked. "Where is the Colonel and Teal'c?"

Bonnie replied. "String took them up in Airwolf."

"But it's my turn." she complained.

2004

General George Hammond, Dr. Janet Frasier stood at the ramp in the Gate Room with Bonnie Bestow, Michael Knight and Archangel.

The event horizon established and SG-1 walked through in full gear once more.

Jack looked upon the familiar faces. "George."

"Welcome home, Colonel." he stated. "As you see we have some guest."

"Bonnie and the two Michaels." Jack grinned.

Sam asked. "You get KITT installed like we planned, Bonnie?"

She nodded, "He's in the control room driving poor Walter crazy."

Sam asked Michael Knight. "What ever happened to the Trans Am?"

"I got a new one." he told her. He grinned. "Welcome home, Sam. Daniel! Jack. T.!"

Archangel agreed. "Welcome home, SG-1."

Sam asked, "We ever figure out who gave Mr. Hinckley the super suit?"

The audience looked a bit confused.

"Who?" asked Bonnie.

"Ralph!" Jack stated. "That red super suit he got from the mystery aliens."

"I have no idea what you are talking about, Colonel." Hammond stated.

"I guess everyone still forgot." Daniel figured. "What about String, Dom and Cait? You remember them?"

Archangel reported. "Dom was killed when a bomb was planted in chopper at his airfield. String was wounded for life. Caitlin returned to Texas. String's brother, Sinjin was rescued and took over flying Airwolf for one more year and the project was decommissioned and Airwolf was eventually scrapped."

"Ra cult?" Daniel asked feeling defeated.

"What cult?" he asked.

Sam stated, "I bet Ra is connected to whatever aliens gave Ralph the suit."

Janet stated. "I will be going with you when you return to 1984. I need to brief Dr. Quincy on a deadly pathogen. I have more tretonin for you, Teal'c."

Hammond informed. "I need you to warm my younger self. The FIRM will steal the mini gate from us."

Jack gasped. "The FIRM stole the mini gate!"

Archangel nodded. "Right after we lost Dom. They transferred me and Marella. Stole the mini gate and never disclosed any of it to Sinjin or his crew."

Sam stated. "Before we go back we need to gather more intel. I also need a change of uniform and I request permission to get some of my clothing to bring back with me."

"Permission granted." Hammond stated.

Jack added. "Me too! Same underwear gets…" he tailed off at the strange looks.

Daniel stated. "I think we could all use a change of clothes and bring back some of our own civvies to wear."

Janet pondered. "I should probably pack a bag then."

Sam stated. "Sir! I think we should bring in Cassie Frasier and the Colonel's clone for this mission."

Jack jerked his head. "What?"

"To place in Mr. Hinckley's class. No one remembers. Mr. Hinckley was even brought in on the mini gate. We all know him and these aliens are still messing with us." she reasoned.

"Alright! Bring mini me in." he agreed with a sigh.

1984

The event horizon established in the mini gate and SG-1 emerged with three more figures all in green battle dress and carrying duffle bags. Bonnie waited with Archangel for the report.

"I see it worked." Bonnie noted.

Archangel asked. "How did it go? Any intel?"

Jack looked at the pair. "We saw you both. No one remembers Ralph at all."

Bonnie gasped. "What do you mean?"

"No one remembers him." Jack stated. "We did some digging. No articles, no records. Like it was all erased."

Sam added. "I did find a blog on the internet. It's like an online diary. Ralph is still alive but everyone thinks he's crazy. He remembers it. He said he got too famous so the aliens who gave him the suit took it away and wiped everyone's memory."

Archangel stated. "That's most alarming." He looked at the three extras. "Might I ask who are our guest?"

Janet stated. "I'm Dr. Janet Frasier. The base Chief Medical Officer. I will be briefing Dr. Quincy on alien pathogens." She then motioned, "This is my adopted daughter, Cassie. She is familiar with the Goa'uld and is the last surviving human from her home world. And that young man is Jonathan O'Neill the Second. He's actually Colonel O'Neill's clone. They will be assisting Mr. Hinckley and the global amnesia issue." She then added. "I do briefly recall Mr. Hinckley as my high school teacher but I find even classroom memories are missing. It's as if the whole year was only two weeks."

Archangel asked. "Anything else we need to be aware of?"

Jack nodded. "Dom gets killed. String is wounded for life. You get pushed out of the FIRM who then steal the mini gate. And no one remembers the Ra cult either."

Archangel gasped. "That's not good."

Sam agreed. "It's not but we do know that String's brother is alive and his location. We can rescue him early. He will be rescued and take over Airwolf missions for one year. Then they scrap it."

He gave a heavy sigh.

Bonnie asked. "I was able to get KITT to your base in the future?"

"Yes, you and Michael are both there and helping us." she assured.

Jack added. "You two look good."

She blushed. "Thank you, Colonel."

Archangel asked. "Did I look good or Mr. Knight?"

Sam assured. "All three of you look good."

"What's in the duffle bags?" Archangel wounded.

"Socks and undies." Jack stated.

Sam added. "I also brought some upgrades for KITT."

Bonnie grinned. "Sounds good."

Short Time Later

Stringfellow Hawke, Dominic Santini and Caitlin O'Shannessy returned to the warehouse with the mini gate for the briefing. They wondered if the plan to send SG-1 to the future and return using the mini gate as a doorway was a success. Much to their surprise it was but the information disclosed to the three was most alarming.

Dom gasped. "I die!"

Jack nodded. "In a year."

Sam soothed. "We know exactly how and when and the good news is, we can prevent it."

"I hope so." he agreed.

Caitlin stated. "Dom gets killed, String gets injured for life and what did I do? Just up leave!"

Daniel stated. "You went back to Texas for a family issue when it all went down. I spoke to you on the phone. You are fine."

String asked. "What happened to Airwolf?"

"Your brother takes over flying it." Jack told him.

"Sinjin." he came to attention. "He's alive."

"Yup and I got the coordinates." he nodded. "I figured we can get him out early."

"So, we can bring Sinjin home ourselves." String assessed.

"That's the plan." Jack agreed.

A voice called out. "Hey! Dip shit."

Jack turned and found his clone standing in the doorway holding up two different jackets. "What do you want?" he barked.

"What is my cover supposed to be for school? I'm supposed to be a troubled kid, right?" he asked.

"Yes." he nodded hard.

"I will go with the leather jacket." he declared.

Dom asked. "Who is that kid?"

"Mini me." Jack told him.

String cocked a half smile. "That's your clone."

"Yeah," he sighed.

John walked over to the crew of Airwolf and SG-1. He greeted. "You guys have the high tech chopper, huh."

"Yes." String confirmed. "Do you know everything the Colonel knows?"

He explained. "His mind was transferred into my head. I recall his life like I lived it."

Caitlin asked, "And you called the Colonel a dip shit."

He candidly replied. "I know him better than anyone else."

To Caitlin, the young clone came across as a smart mouth teenager. She gave him a displeased look. She was about to scold him when String spoke.

"Doesn't that make you a dip shit too, then?" he asked the clone.

Jon paused as he realized String had a point. "I can see your point." he had to agree.

Caitlin asked. "Aren't you going to apologize?"

"No," he shook his head. "We both we're dip shits. So," he turned to Jack. "Frasier is a student in this class, huh?"

Sam warned. "She's just a teenager. She is also getting bullied."

"Bullied!" his head jerked back in shock. "Frasier doesn't take anyone's shit."

"She's a kid!" Sam reminded him. "And unlike you, she does not have decades of experience downloaded into her head."

"Hmm…" he puckered in thought.

Jack knew the look. "What are you thinking?"

He explained. "Maybe I can make it so she's not so ready to shove a needle in my ass. I mean your ass." he corrected.

Jack smirked. "Just be her friend."

"You know I will." he agreed. He then looked at String and his crew. "So, when do I get to fly Airwolf?"

"You're a kid." String barked.

"Only physically." he reminded him. "How did old me do?"

"Like a pro." String stated.

Jon grinned with. "Now imagine 'like a pro' with reflexes of a teenage boy."

Dom had to admit. "The kid has a point."

Sam huffed. "Oh' no you don't. I get to fly Airwolf next. You have to wait."

"Oh' come on, Carter." he complained.

"Don't 'come on, Carter' me." she countered.

String confessed. "I always thought it would kind of be neat to have a mini version of yourself…until now." He motioned to Jon.

"It's a nightmare." Jack agreed.
