Monday morning Candace wakes up in a pretty good mood. The weekend was great and she is feeling great. She got Amanda to school on time and is headed into work 10 minutes early.

"Good morning Ms. Flynn '' Kevin greets as she entered the office.

"Ms. Flynn? What's with the formalities?" She asks, chuckling.

Kevin rolls his eyes. "We're training a new guy today so we have to be 'professional'. Newbies have to be here atleast a week before they find out we don't really give a fuck" he says nonchalantly causing Candace to laugh.

"Well alright Mr..wait what's your last name?"

"Oh, that rule doesn't apply to me. To everyone I'm just Kevin."

"Well okay just Kevin I'm gonna go do my job now"

"That's probably a good idea."

"Yeah"

Candace settles in and gets started on the domestic case which will be going to trial this following week. About an hour later Jenny comes into her office smiling like an idiot.

"Hey Candace, did you see the new guy?"

Candace raises an eyebrow.

"Well considering I've been buried in paperwork for the past hour I can say I have not."

"Well all I can say is this job keeps getting better and better. First Mr. Johnson with his stoic hotness and now Ben who is so hot" she says fanning herself.

He can't be hotter than Jeremy

She thinks to herself.

"Well I'm sure I'll meet him later. Now go do your job, be professional and don't scare the poor guy away"

Jenny rolls her eyes and says "no promises. " before shutting the door behind her.

Candace shakes her head. She thought working at a law firm would be boring...boy was she wrong. Later around noon Candace finally gets up from her desk stretching her stiff legs and leaves her office. She is met with Kevin Leo and Jenny about to leave.

"Hey Candace we're gonna go out to lunch you wanna come?"

Candace shakes her head

"No thanks guys I brought lunch from home"

"Alright, we'll see you later!"

Candace goes into the break room and is startled by a man sitting at the break table.

"Oh! God" she says, jumping a bit.

The man put his hands up In Defense.

"Sorry! Didn't mean to startle you"

Candace puts her hand over her heart.

"No. No it's okay-" then her eyes widened. "Ben?"

He smiles brightly. "Candace! I didn't know you worked here!" He gets up from his chair and pulls her into a big hug and he smells AmAZING.

Ben was in the same internship team as her when she was interning at another law office almost a year ago. He is super nice and Jenny was right he does look good. He has bright green eyes and sandy brown wavy hair. His nose is littered with freckles and his jawline can cut a lemon. All the girls at the place she Interned liked him but he had a girlfriend. Candace was the only one who didn't flirt with him 24/7 so they got pretty close.

"You look great!" He says holding her at arms length and looks her over causing her to blush.

"Thanks so do you! I didn't know you were coming here"

"Yeah I was supposed to be at another firm but got placed here last minute. Everyone seems nice so far. That Kevin guy is a little intimidating though"

Candace laughs. "Kevin is harmless don't worry"

"Ehem" Their heads turn to the door where Jeremy is standing in the doorway.

His face holds an indifference but she can see the questions in his eyes. Who is this guy and why is he touching you? That's when she realizes his hands are still on her arms. She quickly steps out of his grasp and laughs nervously.

"Hi Mr. Johnson have you met our newest attorney?" She gestures to Ben who holds his hand out for a handshake.

"Hi I'm Ben. And you are?" he says smiling.

Jeremy looks at his hand before plastering a small smile.

"Jeremy Johnson"

Ben's eyes widened. "Oh. You're the CEO right?"

Jeremy nods.

"Wow. Well it's nice to meet you. I'll be working in the small claims division."

"Yes, I'm aware I'm the one that hired you" Jeremy says as if it was obvious.

He and Ben are eye to eye almost the exact same height though Candace can't really tell who is taller from her shorter position.

"Of course" Ben laughs nervously.

...Awkward Silence...

"I should um.." Ben trails. "Get back to work. I'll talk to you later, Candace."

He says and leaves the room. Jeremy's eyes never leave Candace as Ben leaves and she shuffles in her spot.

"Hey" she says smiling.

"Hey" he says in a low tone.

"So you know him?" Candace nods.

"Yeah we were interns together..he's nice"

"I'm sure he is," he mumbles.

"Are you having your lunch? You wanna eat with me?" She asks pulling the container of fruit she packed from home out of her bag. Jeremy nods.

"Let's go eat in my office" she raises an eyebrow but follows him anyway. She has only been in his office once or twice. The blinds are open letting in natural light and from their floor they had a great view of the city. He has a leather sofa to the right side of the room with a glass coffee table in front of it and bookshelves to the left. In the middle is a large black desk and his chair as well as two chairs in front of it. She takes a seat on one of the chairs and he sits on the edge of his desk.

"So how's your day been so far?" She asks him opening her container of strawberries and pineapples.

"It's been work..to be honest I was hoping we'd have the office to ourselves for lunch."

Candace raises an eyebrow.

"Why is that?" He eyes the strawberry She put to her lips. She sees his eyes shift and holds up a strawberry.

"Want one?"

He smirks and brings his lips to her fingers and wraps his lips around the strawberry and the tips of her fingers sucking them into his mouth. Candace squints at him.

"Are you trying to seduce me?"

Jeremy chuckles and swallows the strawberry.

"Is it working?"

Candace stands up and walks toward him so she is now standing in between his legs as he sits in the desk.

"Yes. Yes it is"

She leans forward and captures his lips in a kiss and he eagerly returns it wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer.

"This is highly. Unprofessional" she laughs in between kisses as he moves to her neck. She tilts her head back to allow him full access and he takes it leaving hot open mouth kisses down her neck and collarbone his hands slither down her waist and grip her ass tightly making her squirm underneath his touch.
