I am invoking the Waystation Protocol, under Clause Three, Subsection Two, along with the Broken Masquerade Sub-Protocol. In defence of my actions I state, truthfully as my Oath and Systems with verify, that all conditions to invoke these clauses are met. Nor do I intended to breach multiverse revelations beyond acceptable terms under those protocols, but, as the protocols were intended for: I am Lost, am need of support, and the current world-dimension falls within acceptable parameters after meditation and much general consideration. That and they are aware of my existence, and there is need to utilise this dimension as a future bridging location.
So, telling them the very basics of planes travel, and warning, in depth, of the dangers seems to be next necessary step. As noted in my log yesterday, we have, somehow, successfully beaten back an invasion from a dimensional equivalent to a previously benevolent and friendly species in Janet's dimension. Not uncommon unfortunately, but we are fortunate that, even after this bad turn, this dimension remains friendly, and in-theory, mayhap serve as a future trade partner for my Clan, House Outis-ZorEl, and the League as a whole. Or, if all else fails in future endeavours, a fall-back should returning home prove impossible. Though that is more for Janet than for I, as I have no intention of stopping.
But, such course requires a waystation, or waystation, and that requires not just humble and singular Tarvek to establish and maintain such. Well...
Hmm.
Technically it maybe doable, but it leaves such open and undefended, and best to make new friends I feel in this situation. Another reason is the Dark God and his space fleet lurking out there, in the void, having been banished to this realm as well. From my understanding of Asgard knowledge, and Janet's words on such, I believe even if the being headed straight for Earth, it would be at best months, but likely years, before the fleet could arrive in this place. That is assuming they don't simply setup somewhere along the way, knowing that these stargates exist and such a fleet needs resources. Also, that ring-device is deep under the sea, in a crashed Hiveship that caused terrible tidal waves. All celebrate, though some less than others knowing what they have lost in those floods and in the battles now ended. Still, trading such warnings was needed, and helpful I believe, and Janet has been eager to do so, and has helped with her morale, especially with 'saving the world' as she sees it.
Yes, victory in battle is good. But negotiations are best done now, before the stims wear off, and the goodwill and gladness of our hosts has time to fade. Hence, now that matters are decided, I shall approach them in coming hours and lay out such an offer and strategy behind it. Time will be held up, but it offers them both knowledge of the ring-portal and the boons and dangers of worlds beyond. Only the very basics of course, for their own protection as much as one's own benefit and following protocol call for it. But in the wake of this invasion, the need to get home, and the need to honour their protection with warning of the dangers banished to this dimension – as said, I am invoking Waystation and Broken Masquerade Protocols to make this all satisfy everyone's honour.
May my Lord bless our efforts with success.

Negotiations were swift. Getting to have those negotiations was the hard part. Should I be surprised?
No. Big scary outsider, and the battle is ended, yet the damage remains. My immediate use was over, and far more urgent matters call for the rulers of this Earths attention. From broken cities, to eliminating the remaining foes upon their world. Oh, I have had little time, nor has Janet, to truly relax, as questions, questions, questions, is the course of the days, but true talks hath taken time to arrange. Now they are begun rather than completed, but this nation has agreed to mine offer, so that, as they say, is that. More importantly my immediate material requests have been met, as they were minor, even with the devastation caused to this Earth, and the coming disruption to logistic chains the invaders had caused in battle, or by a massive spaceship after being atomic'd crashing into the ocean.
That seems not to have good things for the Caribbean islands and other places hit.
So, limited to North America for now. Probably always here, and that's largely because the thoughts of wasting months upon months negotiating instead of planning sounds dreadful. To me at least, Janet would be less upset by it, for now. This world is like hers, but not to my tastes. That…and it takes time to train even the basics that one lays out, and even aiding selecting soldiers. Not just for training as warriors, but in dealing with others who do not share your species or cultures. Historically League interactions with American clusters tends to the negative because of how intolerant they are and their strange belief on universal moral constants. Ugh. This will be a nightmare; I can already tell!

Ley-lines, been researching what, pitiful, studies they have done on such things in this dimension. Sadly they are science-worshippers and bang their heads off walls when discussing anything outside this reality. Ugh. Knew it would be so.
Still, the Shrouded Lord expects us to do our own work for our own betterment, so that that I have done. Found several possible locations but narrowed it down to a mountain range on the western coast of the continent. In part because it is away from any battle ravaged region, urban region, and is, relatively, isolated. Like several areas it has the indicators; odd disappearances, strange sightings, and various tales. There is a decently strong 'energy' in the air too, now that we are exploring it with a small army guarding us. Mountain air is good, forests too. Magic in the air as the natives hate to hear said.
But it is ideal as a breaching, a 'natural' one, albeit not-quite as tis not entirely natural to guide such a portal location, nor the technology and base around such. Gives these humans a focus now the thrill of victory fades and the fears of the stars settle in. Seemingly they are mobilising across the globe, fearing another invasion, though it most likely is to bring order to the chaos. Perhaps the start of a unification war as in the early days of Bastion and Doppel Earths?
Who know, and it concerns me naught for now. Janet speaks to them of the ring-portal Stargate, and I hath given them my warnings, but it shall be a time afore they recover such from the depths of the sea. Curious then, with such a thing unknown to them despite it being held in public, their first ventures beyond shall be into the realms beyond rather than from their own world. But, one such as I acts as guide, so that is reason enough. Serves this world by granting, we plan, access to an unclaimed world to seek out resources as well as fallback in the face of yet a greater assault. For them. For mine humble self, and Janet's, is to establish a Fire-Break to beyond this world that can be used to as a Fall-back Waystation during explorations. Though I feel that it might be a two-realm chain instead; one forth as a Fire-Break base to this Earth, and then another beyond that to serve as secondary, serving as main waystation?
Regardless I will feel better being distant from this Earth, and changes in human mood, and at a place where one can trade with them while exploring. That and one is duty bound to avoid bringing horrors upon this realm that comes with the risk of such explorations. Making such clear to them, and to dampen any greed before it arises, with such truthful fears is vital. These folk know naught of magics and of anything but their own insular, isolationist yet domineering, beliefs so such is a true concern needing explaining. Limiting their explorations till they gain understanding and patience then is rather important then. Heh. If only Sasha or Captain Falkirk were here, they would be superior in such a task than I!
Sadly it is I, not a great spellsail pathfinder-exploratory, or a House Lord, here, and one must do what one must to survive as it were. Make deals, murder invaders for favours. That sort of thing. Now aiding in the bare minimum that one is allowed to share in a scenario such as this.
With a base it can be linked to the ley-lines as well as reactor power supply, and a link should be easier to both scan and hide with a natural…
Hmm. Much to consider, much to do. Pathinder logged ended.
