Chapter 103: Heart of the Bear Part 3: The Amulets Heart
The group continued to walk through the mountain pass, following the path that Kenai and Nita remembered when they were children when they played at or near the falls, the group walking in silence as they made their way to the falls after watching Nita and Koda nearly get killed in that avalanche while also wondering who the mystery person was, why he saved Scootaloo, and why he called himself a friend if he didn't stick around to answer some questions. They finally reached Hokani falls, finding that it hadn't changed and everyone who never visited it before were left speechless at how beautiful it was, Pinkie pulling a camera out of her mane as she snapped a photo. They then followed the two of them across the path that the two took to get to the place where Kenai gave her the amulet, following the path they took to get to the ledge they were on when the bond was made, finding the drawing that they made when they were kids, a couple of hunters holding hands.
Nita snd Kenai looked unhappy as they looked around, remembering the fun they had together while also the time they had recently, their feelings for each other grow stronger than before as they walked to the edge of the falls where the lights were dancing around in purple, blue, and green colors, the spirits there to witness them burn the amulet.
"Is this... the equinox?" Koda asked.
"Yes, it is." Kenai said.
"So, this is it." Cadence said. "This is where we burn the amulet and get the first Heart Piece."
"It is." Twilight said. "Right, let's get some wood and get a fire started."
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy flew out to get some wood to start a fire while everyone else watched as the snow all melted at once, the spirits turning winter to spring as the leaves suddenly started to grow and the grass along with the flowers coming to life, the ponies taken by surprise at how the scenery looked, amazed by how it changed before their eyes while Nita and Kenai were looking up to the sky.
"My mom's up there." Nita said.
"My mm too." Koda said, looking up to Nita. "Do you miss your mom too?"
"Yes." Nita replied, kneeling down to Koda. "But you don't need to wait for the lights to see her. She's always with you... here." She then touched Koda's chest, indicating she was talking about his heart. "When you truly love someone, they will always stay in your heart... forever."
She then hugged Koda, which he returned the hug back, everyone watching them as they felt a pang in their own hearts, looking to the sky as they believed Spyro was also watching them now, keeping an eye on them now as they collect his heart. Kenai then took in a deep breath as he knew what was next, looking to Nita, who was also looking at him.
"It's time." Kenai said.
A little while later, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy brought over the wood they needed, Twilight using her own magic to light the flame as it grew bigger and bigger as it was big enough for them to burn the amulet. Nita then took the amulet off and held it for a moment, the symbol on the amulet glowing as she held it over the flames before tossing the trinket into the flames, everyone watching as the flames engulfed the amulet, the flames turning purple as it burnt away, firing into golden ash as it flew up and turned into the symbol, the triangle with the pony heads spinning around as everyone smiled, happy to get the first piece, but the ash then flew into the sky, leaving them shocked as the ash flew away.
"No, no, no!" Twilight shouted, watching at the ash joined with the lights. "W-what does this mean!? Here's the Heart Piece!?"
"Why didn't it work?" Cadence asked. "We burned the amulet, why did the Heart Piece not appear?"
"Did we do it wrong?" Scootaloo asked. "What did we do wrong?"
"Who cares?" Rainbow Dash said, walking away. "We failed. The Heart Piece is gone. Spyro's... gone."
They then walked away from the fire, all hope lost as they failed to get the Heart Piece, Twilight taking the book out, starring at the cover as tears formed in her eyes as she dropped it, the book opening as it hit the ground as she walked away. Fluttershy was also heart broken, looking to Nita and the two brothers, seeing that Nita lost the ability to talk to the bears as she walked away, tears in her eyes as she left the ridge along with the brothers. Fluttershy plopped down on the ground as she started to cry, hope fading after failing to get the heart piece, covering her eyes with her hooves as she cried. A moment later, a golden light shined on her, feeling someone put their hoof or hand on her shoulder, so she uncovered her eyes to see who it was, finding Spyro smiling at her, gasping in surprise as she saw him.
"Spyro?" Fluttershy asked, reaching out, but her hoof passed through his face. He kept on smiling as he stood straight up, turning to look at the book as he pointed at it, indicating she needed to take a second look at it. "What? Did we miss something?" She got up and walked over to the book, looking down at it to see a golden light shine in the pages, words filling in the pages as an image of her appeared in the sheets looking at the book, reading them and her eyes widening in surprise. "The books been logging everything that's been done or said... like a story book." She kept on reading until her eyes looked arrived at something that caught her attention, picking up the book. "Two hearts united by a bond, made at the peak of frozen falls and pond. Sever the bond in a burning flame and make things the way they were, but never the same. But the heart will always find the one you love, only then will you find what you seek above."
She then looked back to Spyro, who nodded his head as he disappeared, indicating she was on the right track, but needed to look closer, going over the riddle in her head as she looked out, trying to figure out what to do when she saw Kenai looking in the direction Nita was walking, putting it all together as she finally realized what they did wrong, flying off to get her friends and let them know what she found out. With Nita, she was walking back to her village, no longer afraid of water as she crossed a river, going through fields and the forest until she finally returned to her village, where everyone was waiting for her to return, so she walked out of the forest and was immediately greeted by her father, who ran up to her and hugged her, not noticing how unhappy she was as he hugged her.
"Welcome home Nita." Her father said. "It's good to have you back home."
"It's good to be back." Nita replied.
"Come, we have a wedding to plan for tomorrow." Her father said.
They then walked into the village, but Nita looked back to the forest, feeling her heart wasn't in it for marrying Atka as they went back to the village, thinking about Kenai as they walked. In the forest, Koda and Kenai arrived at Crowsberry ridge where they had originally planned to go before being side tracked, Koda and Pinkie running to the bushes happily to get their fill of berries while eveyrone else just approached the bushes half heartedly, feeling depressed at failing to get the Heart piece while Kenai looked back to the forest, thinking about Nita as he joined Koda in picking berries. After a little while, everyone was sitting or lying at the edge of the river, everyone unhappy as they poked their hooves or paws in the water causing riffles in the surface of the water, trying to distract themselves from what had happened as Koda came running up.
"Kenai..." Koda said. "Did you give Nita the amulet because you love her?"
"It was a long time ago." Kenai replied.
"But... she's still with you." Koda said, reaching his paw up and touching his chest. "In here, I can tell."
"Koda, it doesn't matter now." Kenai replied.
"Not to mention we didn't get the Heart Piece." Rainbow Dash said. "We failed."
"So now what?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Do we just... go back home?"
"We don't have any other choice." Shining Armor said. "Without all the pieces, this mission is a bust."
Koda could tell everyone is upset, looking back to Kenai as he seemed the most unhappy.
"Kenai, if you love her, why don't you tell her?" Koda asked.
"It's... a little more complicated than that." Kenai replied. "Anyway, it's over now. Hey, we're at cross berry ridge, let's enjoy ourselves while we can. How about first thing in the morning, we rustle up some berries. And hey, you're all welcome to join us of you'd like."
"Thanks, but Ah think we should head back home." Apple Bloom said, lying on the ground. "No point in continuing if we failed to get the first piece of Spyro's heart."
Everyone then walked with Kenai to get some sleep for tomorrow so they could make the journey back to Equestria, Koda watching everyone walk away sadly as they lost hope of finding Spyro's heart if they didn't get the first piece of it. As they were walking away, Koda walked over to a small rock formation and climbed it, watching the lights dance in the sky as he wished to talk to them.
"Mom, Kenai and everyone else seem so sad." Koda said. "It's all because of me. Tell the spirits to change him back, I'll be alright on my own. And, if Spyro's heart is up there, could you give it to the ponies? They really want to get him back and if it's the only way to make them happy, please do so."
He then turned to walk away, but then froze, seeing Spyro leaning against the tree as he starred into the sky, watching the light show.
"That's very kind of you to ask them that Koda." Spyro said, looking at him. "Your heart is very kind and pure."
"Spyro... how...?" Koda asked, trying to understand why he was talking to him.
"Koda... you're right about one thing." Spyro said, looking back to the sky. "Kenai and Nita belong with one another. Their hearts are made for each other."
"But... it's too late now." Koda said, walking to Kenai and the group.
"Nothing is ever too late Koda." Spyro replied, appearing on a rock. "It's only too late if we don't do everything we can to make it happen."
"But... your friends... they didn't get your heart." Koda said, looking to see them sleeping.
"They didn't get it because they didn't finish the riddle." Spyro said, making the cub look at him. "They burned the amulet, but they didn't bring the two hearts together. And they won't. Only you can."
"How?" Koda asked.
"You already know the answer to that question little cub." Spyro replied. "Nothing is set in stone and if it is, it won't last forever. The heart knows what it wants and who it wishes to be with, you just need to take a chance and lay it all out. Remember Koda, the heart knows what it wants, you just need to listen."
Koda looked back to Kenai and his friends, seeing them sleeping peacefully or as peacefully as they could before looking back to Spyro, who was already gone when he looked back, looking to his brother and friends as he made up his mind, running in the direction of Nita's village. In the morning, everyone was waking up and stretching, getting ready to leave when they noticed Koda wasn't;t there, looking around and wondering where he went.
"Hey, has anyone seen Koda?" Twilight asked.
"Must have gotten an early start on berry pickin'." Apple Bloom said.
"Oh, oh, maybe we should help him!" Sweetie Belle said. "Maybe we can get our cutie marks in picking berries!"
"Sweetie, not now." Scootaloo said, walking away. "I just wanna go home."
"We all do sugarcube." Applejack said, looking to May. "We ready to go?"
"Almost." May replied. "We're missing someone."
"Fluttershy." Rainbow Dash said. "I swear, if she's out frolicking with the animals right now, I'm gonna-"
She didn't finish as suddenly as yellow blur came out of no where, blind siding Rainbow Dash and knocking her t the ground, seeing little birds fly around her eyes as Fluttershy got up quickly.
"Girls, girls!" Fluttershy exclaimed, running to them. "And guys, you need to listen, we can't leave yet!"
"Fluttershy, it's over." Applejack said. "The Heart Piece is gone. We failed."
"No, we didn't!" She replied. "We gave up too soon, we didn't solve the riddle!"
"Come again?" Applejack asked.
"Look." Fluttershy said. She then pulled out the book and presented it to everyone, the pages opening up to where she read the riddle again as Twilight used her magic to look at it. "The book acts like a story book, our adventures are written down in it and whatever we do or say is drawn into the book."
"Fluttershy... how does this help us?" Twilight asked.
"Well, we only solved part of the riddle." Fluttershy replied. "We didn't solve the last bit. But the heart will always find the one you love, only then will you find what you seek above."
"And?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Kenai... how did you feel when you were with Nita?" Fluttershy asked.
"Well, I felt... happy." Kenai replied. "Like... my heart was lighter than air."
"And when you two walked your own paths?" Fluttershy asked.
"I felt... sad." Kenai replied. "Like I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life."
"That's the answer." Fluttershy said. "Burning the amulet was only one step, bringing Kenai and Nita together... realizing they are meant to be together... that's how we get the heart piece."
"Then what are doing sitting around here for, we got a wedding to crash!" Rainbow Dash said.
"But... we don't know where her village is." Shining Armor said.
"I know where it is!" Kenai said. "But... where's Koda?"
"He was with us last night." Pinkie said. "When we were near the pond."
"Yeah, talking about..." Twilight said, realizing where Koda went. "Oh no, he must have gone to get Nita back!"
"What!?" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Why in all of Equestria would he do that!?"
"He must have gone to tell Nita how Kenai feels about her." Rarity said. "But, Nita doesn't speak bear anymore."
"Who cares about the reason, we need to go save him, now!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"Then what are we doing standin' here for?" Applejack asked. "Let's get a move on!"
Kenai went ahead of the group, running in the direction of Nita's village in the hopes of catching up with Koda before the hunters started attacking him because, despite him being a cub, the human hunters will take any opportunity to make sure there isn't anther bear to attack them later in life. In Nita's village, she was back in her tent getting ready for the wedding, her friends helping to get her ready for the big day, but as they were helping her get ready, Nita was sad, her heart not in it to marry Atka as she no longer had feelings for him, but for Kenai instead. As her friends were trying to see which kind of necklace would work with her current outfit, her father walked in, smiling at his daughter as he entered.
"Once again, we are ready." Her father said. "Are you Nita?"
"Yes father." Nita replied, everyone feeling how unhappy she is.
He looked to the two friends and nodded, letting them know to wait outside while he went over to comfort his daughter.
"I would expect a bride to smile on her wedding day." The father said. "Is something wrong?"
"Daddy, I'm so confused." Nita replied, turning to face her father. "I thought that after the amulet has been burned the bond would be broken. But, in my heart... I... I'm sorry daddy. I can't marry Atka."
Her father was both shocked and confused, unable to think of what to say, taking a deep breath to say something when they heard someone scream, saying there was a bear in the village and both ran out to see Koda running through the village with some of the villages kids running after him.
"Koda!?" Nita asked, running after them. "Wait, don't hurt him!"
Koda ran throughout the village, running away from the kids and going through some of the fishing baskets, knocking the fish over and causing the people chasing him to slip n the slippery fish. He then dodged and weaved through the crowd of people trying to catch him before a crowd tried to grab him, but the cub escaped from them and climbed into a tree to stay away from the hunters, crying out for help as Nita yelled for them to leave Koda alone, only for Kenai to come in roaring in rage, scaring everyone as he ran forward and into the crowd surrounding Koda, causing them to scatter and letting Koda jump down onto Kenai's back right as the ponies arrived, seeing everything happening as more hunters came with spears.
"Oh no, we have to help them!" Twilight said.
"No, we can't interfere in the business of this world." May said. "This is Kenai's fight and his alone, as is the World Order."
"To heck with the World Order and the dumb rules!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "We have to help them!"
Without waiting for anyone to stop her, she flew into the air and called her Keyblade, pointing it to the ground as she used the Blizzard spell to freeze a couple of the hunters in place, distracting Atka enough to allow Kenai to knock Atka away and into a group of more hunters before running to a cliff and pushing Koda up, looking back at Nita, fear in her eyes as she looked at him, fearing for their safety.
"Kenai, run!" Nita shouted.
Kenai then jumped onto the ridge and started climbing as Atka got back up, taking a torch from one of the other hunters and running after Kenai and Koda, Nite taking her dress off to go after them to help Kenai.
"Nita, are you alright?" Her father asked.
"Yers, but I have to stop them!" Nita replied.
She gave her father the dress and ran after the hunters, Kenai just reaching another ledge as the hunters caught up with them, picking Koda up right as Atka threw his spear, grazing Kenai on the shoulder and angering him. Twilight and Cadence were just running up the slope of a nearby ridge when they saw Kenai get hurt, Atka and his fellow hunters climbing after them, Twilight growing angry as she charged up the magic in her horn, firing a powerful bolt of magic that hit the side of the mountain, causing an avalanche of rocks to fall down, missing the hunters, but giving Kenai some time to run away, running down the gully until he reached a fallen tree, picking Koda up and putting him into the hollowed out part of the tree.
"Stay here and stay low." Kenai said.
"Kenai!" Koda called out.
Kenai walked away from Koda, hoping the hunters would follow him right as Atka arrived, Koda hiding as low as he could to not be seen as Atka walked past him, following the trail of blood towards Kenai. Believing it was safe, Koda came out of his hiding spot, but was then grabbed by two mote hunters, who were laughing as they grabbed him, but then they heard hooves coming their way and looked over, the hunter holding Koda getting kicked in the gut by Applejack, sending the hunter flying into the tree above, the other hunter getting his spear out, but May appeared out of nowhere, disarming the hunter before head butting him, tossing him into the tree as well and letting the two hunters dangle in the tree as the four ponies came over, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie, and Shining Armor coming over a second later, Zecora staying on the ground with the fillies to make sure they didn't get hurt.
"Koda, you ok?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yeah, thanks guys." Koda replied. "But Kenai is still in trouble, we have to help him."
Without waiting around, they then ran in the direction the blood was going, hoping to catch up with them before anything bad happened. Kenai kept running, squeezing underneath some rocks and leaping from rock to rock to get some distance from the hunter, drawing the hunter away while also trying to loose him, but the hunter kept following the blood trail after Kenai, chasing him until he caught up with him at the ledge of the cliff, cornering him. As the two locked eyes, Atka tossed the torch, distracting Kenai as he followed it, recoiling in fear and allowing Atka the chance to jump down and try to choke Kenai with his spear, the bear flipping Atka over his head and slamming him into the ground, backing away as Atka got back up, the hunter grabbing his spear and charging forward. The hunter tried to push Kenai off the ledge, using his spear to push him, but Kenai pushed back on the spear, pinning Atka to the ground, ready to attack him when Nita showed up along with everyone else, seeing what was happening and fearing for the both of them.
"Kenai, no!" Nita shouted, getting his attention.
Kenai got off the hunter and backed away, his eyes on his friends, giving Atka the chance to get the torch and toss it into Kenai's eyes, staggering him before he pushed Kenai off the cliff, horrifying everyone.
"KENAI!" Nita shouted, watching as he fell.
He fell down hard onto the ground below, the water not helping to break his fall as everyone rushed down to help him, Atka grabbing onto Nita as she came around.
"Nita, are you ok?" Atka asked.
"How could you!?" Nita shouted, the ponies rushing down to help Kenai.
"What?" Atka asked. "What do you mean? And who are they?"
"He was my friend!" Nita shouted, knocking Atka down and breaking his heart.
Everyone rushed down to check on Kenai, flying down to him or jumped along the edges of the cliff, landing onto the ground and running across the water to him right as Koda, Zecora, and the fillies arrived, finding Kenai on the ground, still alive, but it bad shape. Koda then ran over to Kenai, calling to him as he knelt down, Kenai putting his paw on his brother as Nita looked miserable, on the verge of tears as Kenai tried to tell her what he wanted to say, but Nita couldn't understand.
"I'm sorry Kenai." Nita said. "I... I don't understand."
"He says he wanted to tell you something." Fluttershy said, sitting down in the water. "He said, he wanted to tell you that... that..."
Without waiting for her to find the right words to say, Kenai held up his paw, Nita reaching out to hold it when Kenai guided her hand to his chest, indicating that he was trying to tell her that he loves her, Nita understanding immediately what he was trying to say.
"I love you too Kenai." Nita said.
She then hugged Kenai, crying as she finally admitted her feelings to the one she loved as tears rolled down her face and hit the water, a purple ripple going across the water as they all heard music playing above them. They all looked up to see the northern lights again, dancing around as a ray of light hit the brothers and Nita, the ponies backing away as the light surrounded the three of them as Nita's father arrived, seeing what was going on.
"The spirits." Kenai said, surprising Nita.
"Kenai, I can understand you." Nita said happily.
"Kenai... I asked the spirits to turn you back into a man." Koda said.
"What?" Kenai asked in surprise. "Why?"
"Well, you really love Nita, so I asked them to turn you back so you could be with her." Koda answered as a tear rolled down his face.
"Koda, no." Kenai said.
"It's ok Kenai." Koda said, hugging him. "I just want you to be happy again."
Kenai looked down at Koda, hugging him before looking to Nita.
"Nita... I can't." Kenai said. "I can't abandon him."
Nita looked to Kenai, torn between what to do before she looked up, seeing Spyro behind Nita smiling at her with his arms crossed.
"Nows the time Nita." Spyro said. "This is where your decision determines what happens. Will you deny your feelings and leave Kenai, the spirits possibly changing him, or will you follow your heart and do what you know you need to do?"
Nita looked at Spyro, understanding what he was asking her as she smiled, looking back to Kenai.
"I know." Nita said, hugging Kenai. "But... I know what I need to do."
"Am I the only one who's hearing these bears talking?" Nita's father asked.
"You're not the only one." Rainbow Dash said, freaking him out. "Trust me, a bunch of talking ponies is not the freakiest thing you'll find in this world."
"Dad!" Nita said, running over and hugging him, which he knew what she was going to do.
"Is this what you wanted?" Her father asked. "Will this make you happy?" Without answering, Nita nodded her head, letting him know this was her decision, which her father smiled. "You are my daughter Nita, and I will always love you, no matter what you become or what you are."
Nita hugged her father again, happy to know he would always love her before walking over to the ray of light, Kenai and Koda walking away as the ponies all spread out to let Nita in, the young woman approaching the light before looking over to Kenai and Koda, finding Spyro next to them still smiling, nodding his head to let her know to go for it. Nita then put her hand into the light, walking through the light as it grew brighter until the lights unleashed a storm of color and spiritual animals, all running across the sky as everyone watched in amazement, Nita looking up to see the head of a bear above her as an eagle swooped over, the spirits picking Nita up and bringing her to the bear and passing int it, the golden ash from the amulet coming from the sky to form the symbol again, but this time it grew bigger until it was the size of a full grown dragons head, the triangle spinning behind it as the dragon roared out, a Keyhole appearing on it's forehead.
The girls all looked out the dragon's head, wondering how they were going to get the Heart Piece when a flash of light appeared in Fluttershy's muzzle, everyone turning to see a very surprised Fluttershy holding her Keyblade.
"Fluttershy, why do you have your Keyblade out?" Twilight asked.
"I don't know." Fluttershy replied, walking forward. "But... I think... it's... calling to me."
She stood before the symbol as the triangle kept spinning, stopping once the Pegasus head was above the dragon's head, the eyes glowing yellow as Fluttershy flew up, spinning around as she flew until she pointed the tip of her blade to the Keyhole, a beam of pink and yellow light shooting from the tip of it and going through the keyhole, a clicking sound ringing out as it disappeared, the dragon opening it's mouth as a bright purple light shot out, flying around Fluttershy before taking a dive towards Twilight, going into her saddlebag as it hit the book. Twilight then pulled the book out to see the dragons head was glowing, it's eyes a pale yellow as the bear head on the book changed from gold to bronze and gold, a roaring bear crying out as the books glow disappeared. They then looked back up and saw Nita was floating back down, this time as a bear, everyone mesmerized by the transformation as she woke up, looking up at Kenai after looking at her new paw.
"Well... how do I look?" Nita asked.
"Like a bear." Kenai replied. "Except they gave you antlers."
"What!?" She asked, instantly looking up and falling for the joke.
They then laughed at Nita falling for the gag, running around and laughing, playing around as they celebrated their reunion. The next morning, a new wedding was taking place with hunters and bear all coming together to witness Kenai's and Nita's union, the Keyblade bearers and their companions sticking around to watch the wedding as the dancers danced around while the musicians played, everyone gathering around as Nita walked down the aisle, Kenai waiting anxiously for Nita as she approached, both very happy to be together as their other friends, even the raccoons, came to celebrate, flower petals falling from the sky as the happy couple exchanged their vows and everyone walked over, congratulating them as the spirits appeared in the sky again. As the festivities were going on, May called her Keyblade out and was drawing a circle around them, ready to return to the ship right as Kenai, Nita, and Koda walked up to them.
"You're leaving?" Nita asked. "So soon?"
"Sorry Nita, but we need to go." Twilight said. "We got eleven more Heart Pieces to find and a lot of places we need to look."
"Will we see you again?" Koda asked.
"Maybe someday." Fluttershy replied, hugging Koda. "I promise, we'll come back and visit someday."
"Well, when you do come and visit, please be sure to bring Spyro around, will you?" Kenai asked. "I'd like for Nita to meet him."
"Don't worry, we will." Twilight said.
They then waved goodbye to their friends as May tapped her Keyblade onto the circle, the drawing glowing green as a pillar of green light shot into the air and onto their ship, returning to The Harmony's cockpit.
"Wow, that was actually pretty exciting." Shining Armor said, walking to his chair. "You guys go on these adventures all the time?"
"Pretty much." Twilight replied, sitting down as she looked at the book cover. "You should have seen us when we were at the Caribbean. We were wearing pirate outfits and had to hide in a barrel full of fish."
"Wait, what?" Shining Armor asked.
"While I would love to hear about it, we should probably get going." Cadence said. "We got one Heart Piece, we got a lot more to find."
"I concur with that princess." Rarity said. "Twilight, where to next?"
"One moment." Twilight replied. She then opened the book to the end of the chapter, seeing Kenai and Nita's wedding in the pages and smiling as she felt happy for them. She then turned the page and as she did, the page started to glow as the Roman numeral for two appeared along with the chapter title. "Chapter 2: The Heart of Notre Dame."
"Notre Dame?" May asked.
"You know that place May?" Twilight asked, everyone looking to her.
"I do." May replied, putting in the coordinates. "And it's not exactly a friendly place."
Everyone looked to each other, worried about what May just said as the corridor opened for them, the ship jumping into Warp Space as it moved to the next world. On the surface of the North American Ice Age, the mystery man was watching the wedding, smiling underneath his hood as a Dusk appeared next to him, walking over as it silently talked to him.
"I saw." He said. "They got the first piece, which I knew they would. Guess there is hope for them after all." He then turned to face the Dusk as he walked past it, stopping short of it as he kept smiling. "Guess my decision is made. Where are they heading to next?" The Nobody walked around him, not saying anything while the cloaked individual seemed to understand what it was saying, smiling to himself. "Notre Dame, huh? Looks like I'm taking a trip to Paris."
he raised his hand as a corridor opened up in front of him, the Dusk disappearing into the void as the mysterious man walked through the corridor, making his way to the next world as the corridor closed behind him, the sun setting as the reception for the wedding continued, everyone dancing and celebrating as the day turned to night, the Spirits dancing in the night sky as they celebrated with the people and bears below.
