Hello and welcome to reading To Be Worthy
This is a story owned/written by NeonZangetsu so all rights go to him as the writer of the story-I only collab when he needs me to get a major section out of the way. Naruto is owned by Kishimoto and RWBY by Monty Oum.
Character's: Yang, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Pyrrha, Ren, Nora, Neo (NeonZangestsu), Naruto, William (TbW), Adam (TbW)
"Owie, my head." Ruby moaned, rubbing her head. She didn't know what happened. One moment, she was checking her weapon to check for any damage and the next, she suddenly got transported somewhere and landed on her back. She look around to see that she is was a fancy living room, with several couches, a small table at the middle, and a flat screen TV on the wall. "Where are we?"
It is important to know that when she referenced to the word 'we', she actually means where are she and her team as well as team JNPR, who are also on the floor.
"Ugh, I feel dizzy." Jaune said, swirls spinning in his eyes. Beside him is Ren, with Nora landing on top of him. And at the other side is Pyrrha, who shook her head to shake off the dizzy feeling.
Yang, Weiss, and Blake are all on their backs as well, all of them dizzy as the others were. The group all got up before looking around from where they are at. "Your guess is as good as mine little sis."
"I believe that I can answer that question for you." An unfamiliar voice from behind spoke up. This sudden spokesperson talking caused all of them to rip out their weapons and turn so as to point them at the person behind them. The speaker looks to be their age, with sun-tanned skin, a black hoodie, black jeans, brown hair and black eyes. Despite the weapons pointed at him, he looked pretty calm and relaxed. The guys roll his eyes when he saw them all pointing a weapons. "You can put those away, I'm not about to harm you. If I were going to do so, then I would've teleported you in a volcano."
"Then why did you teleport us here? And how?" Weiss interrogated him, pointing her rapier at him. The man sighed before snapping his right hand fingers, causing all of the weapons to disappear from their hands, much to their shock.
"M-My Crescent Rose!" Ruby cried out, despair starting to wash down on her, "What did you do to my Crescent Rose?!" She shouted childishly, waving her arms around.
"You will have your weapons returned to you once we finish conducting our business here." The young man said to her, still perfectly calm. "Now, before any further questions can be asked, let me inform you of the exact reason that you're here. The creator of another universe wants you girls, and guys, too read and or watch scenes about his universe. Whether it's for entertainment or to teach you something, I don't know. My job is to make sure you guys read and watch this universe."
"...And if we say no?" Blake challenged. She has no problem reading a book, she loved books, but she wants to know the consequences.
The man sigh before speaking again. "If you resist, then you will be stuck here for the rest of your lives. You won't be able to see your family, your other friends, ever again." That made all of them gasp.
"You can't do that!" Weiss shouted at him, now pissed off. "What gives you, or the person you're working for, the right to keep us in this place?!"
The unknown mans eyes suddenly harden. "What rights do people have to judge others based on appearances or if they have animal ears? What rights do people have to make other suffer just because you are suffering?" That made the right theme girl silent. "Life isn't fair Schnee. Get use to the idea. Furthermore, all you have to do is read a book. It's not like it's going to kill you." he told her.
Weiss seethes, but before she could say anything, Pyrrha spoke up. "What is this book about exactly?" She asked him. It's obvious that he's powerful enough to take all of their weapons, so it wouldn't be wise to upset him.
"Essentially, it's about an alternate dimension of your lives." He stopped talking when he heard shouts of 'WHAT?!' directed towards him. He waited for a second, before speaking again. "Yes, as I mentioned, it is about an alternate dimension based off of your lives, with someone ho isn't supposed to be in the picture coming into the equation. Young Ren, if you would be as so kind as to read the title for us." he said.
Ren picked up the book, before reading the title. "To be Worthy. What's this about?" Ren asked the man.
"It is about a young man named Naruto. He dies in combat and is reborn in a much later era, your era to be precise. And he has a unique ability in his family Semblance, a mutation in it if you will..." He told them all. "A very strong being too, considering he took on enemies who could rip the land apart with a wave of one hand. He even fought a Primordial Beast of Calamity and while he didn't defeat it, he did give it one hell of a fight that if it were to return, it's first thought would be to fight him and ignore the world around. He was born a shinobi, also known as a ninja."
"So, are we going to read about a ninja?" Nora asked excitingly. "Ooh, so our alternate selves are going to be hanging out with a ninja, although Ren is kinda a ninja! That is going to be so much fun to read!" Ren sighed while the man looks at Nora in amusement.
"Yes Nora, you and others are going to be reading about a ninja." He said in amusement. "All of you are going to meet him and he's going to affect most of your lives, in some way or another." Now it's got people curious.
"Okay, we'll bite. We haven't really got nothing better to do anyway." Yang said, as she grabbed the book from Ren. But, before she opened it, she looks at the man. "By the way, what's your name?" she questioned curiously.
The man sat on the couch, before speaking. "I rather keep my true name to myself, but for simplicity's sake you can call me... Neo." He wave his hands towards the couches, "I doubt you want to stand up while reading such a tale, so come sit down. And by the way, from what I was told by the other guy, as you read, it's gonna show the scenes as they play out up on the screen similar to a TV show." he informed the teens.
With that, everyone got comfortably on the couches and Yang open the book to read the first chapter. "Chapter 1." she read, "Wait, there's a little excerpt here." she said.
"Oh yes, I forgot to mention those. You see, for the most part each of the chapters will have something that is either said before, between or even during some of the chapters that may or may not influence the events. And at the end of each chapter there are even future content cuts that could be potentially seen." Neo told them. "I'm not gonna tell you how many cuts there will be as each chapter varies in length but needless to say, the... spoilers will need to be read, as requested by the manager of the Universe. In my opinion personally, I don't like it, as it might spoil the story in some way, but I'm not the one doing asking." Yang, Ruby, and Nora pouted before Yang started back reading again.
"Ha! Listen to you, Jacques! Bleating on and on and on like a little dog. Yap. Yap. Yap.
You're no Father of mine! You're even a man-not really.
You're nothing more than just a mongrel dog barking for attention."
~An audible manifestation of arrogance.
"So he is my brother here?" Weiss asked curiously.
"Your elder twin to be precise." Neo nodded.
"Wait, you aren't going to say anything about him insulting your father?" Ruby asked.
Weiss shrugged, "Why should I, he's pretty much right in that my father is extremely childish when he doesn't get what he wants." she said.
"Wow... did not see that coming." Blake commented.
"I mean, the insult's cool and all, but really, 'Mongrel', who even says that anymore these days?" Juane asked scratching his head.
"More than you think." Blake sighed as she shifted in her seat.
"...okay, moving on!" Nora called out.
Not like this.
Naruto didn't want to die like this.
Not here, not alone, not bleeding out under the stars.
And yet here he was. Here was the price for his foolishness, for his humility. The battle was over. The war won.
And his reward?
A dagger in the back.
Right through the heart.
"Well... that sucks." Juane commented.
"Could be worse." Yang said.
"How so?" the blond male asked.
"Could have been in the nuts." the purple eyed girl responded causing the men to cringe as they closed their legs unconsciously.
Why did she have to go there?
It was so cold tonight. He couldn't even feel his fingers anymore. Could barely breathe, with the hole in his chest, the blood filling his lungs. Kurama didn't have enough chakra left to heal him. He was exhausted, spent, just the same as he. Was this what humility won them? Blind trust had likewise blinded him to the danger right in front of them; he'd failed to see it, right to the very end. Even now he almost couldn't believe it. Shock had a funny way of dulling your thoughts.
Damnit. Dying hurt. It hurt a lot.
No, it was more than that. He didn't want to go...
"I'm sorry, kid." he could heard the bitter regret in his old friend's voice. "There's nothing more I can do."
"Whoa, who is that?" Ruby asked.
"A... Phantasmal Beast if you will. It is named Kurama." Neo explained.
"Will we be seeing it again?" Weiss asked warily.
"If we read we might." he sighed.
"Don't be." He coughed a bit of blood and reached toward the sky. "Not your fault." Bloody fingers grasped for the moon, the moon they had made. "I'll come back." he growled up at its pale visage. "So will you. Just you wait. We'll show them. We'll show...'em...all...
"...will we, now? I'd like that. I'll see you on the other side, then. Try not to die before we meet again."
Not a chance. A new life. A new name. A new identity. He wouldn't make the same mistakes twice...
Maybe that mindset made him arrogant. So be it. He would not falter again.
Naruto Uzumaki closed his eyes and breathed his last.
High above them, the moon shattered...
"Is that how the moon shattered?" Nora asked.
"I guess it is for this story, but our moon was shattered ages ago by other means." Pyrrha said.
(.0.0.0.)
"Its a boy!"
"Oh dear, this must be a surprise for him." Ruby said trying, and failing, to stifle her laughter.
"Well, at least he is going to have a second chance at life." Yang said nodding.
"And it just so happens that he is my brother." Weiss said happily.
...and his eyes snapped open.
In an instant he became of several things; a white room, an awfully bright light, and several people staring down at him.
Everything was big. Far, far too big. Bigger than it should be.
Just like that, Naruto understood.
...you must be joking.'
"Yea... no, sorry but it's happening." Yang said, brushing her nails on her shirt, "At least you get a second chance." she stated.
"Yang, that's not exactly something to say." Blake sighed, "What if you ended up in this exact situation?" she asked her friend.
"I'd be relieved, if I was stabbed in the back and born again, I would do my best to make what the next life gave to me." the blond responded with a shrug, "If anything, I'd be grateful to be alive again regardless of who gave birth to me." she said honestly.
He had hoped...well, he thought he might hit the ground running, so to speak. Maybe wake up in a proper body. Not so, evidently.
"Let me see him," someone crooned. "Let me see my son."
Faces loomed over him as the world shifted. Someone was holding him. A weary woman with bright blue eyes and white hair...
"Congratulations, miss Willow!" Someone crooned. "He's the very picture of health!"
"Why aren't they panicking?" Nora asked, "A silent baby is usually a bad sign." she said.
"While an astute observation, remember he is essentially an adult stuffed into an infant." Neo pointed out.
"Nora, please, refrain from speaking." Ren moaned.
"Nope!" the pancake lover responded instantly.
This was his new mother, he supposed. At least she was beautiful.
"He's...quiet." even her voice was soft. "Is he alright?"
No! No, he was not! This body was tiny and small and not at all what he wanted. He cast his thoughts inward, hoping Kurama would answer. The fox didn't, of course. Death had cut the two of them apart as surely as a hot knife through so much butter. Had he reincarnated as well? He hoped so. The idea of his one true friend being trapped in someone else's body irked him like nothing else. He wouldn't accept it. He refused to accept it. No one else was allowed to have Kurama. Then again, if he'd been reborn as human somewhere...well, misery loved company. If he had to endure this humiliation, then so should he.
"Ok, admittedly I was worried he'd be a weird obsessive pervert, but then i remembered that the fox was the size of a mountain." Yang stated.
"He's a...well... a fluffy mountain." Ruby muttered.
"Let's not talk about a mountain sized canine." Blake said dully.
"Scaredy cat." Weiss smirked.
"Very much yes." she responded.
"William?" the woman holding began to plead with him, growing increasingly frantic when he didn't respond. "My darling boy, please...say something!"
Naruto bridled, indignation burning bright in his brain. William?! What kind of name was that?!
Still, she looked so sad...
With a put upon sigh, he deigned to make an annoyed noise. That seemed to soothe the woman holding him.
"You poor dear." she unfastened the front of her gown. "You must be hungry. Here...
Naruto absolutely twitched.
The teens all snickered. He looked so uncomfortable in the arms of his new mother, knowing his past life's memories were still there and a unknown future awaited him.
Just like that, the adults began fussing and cooing over him again. Left with no other recourse he resigned himself to his fate...for now.
He was painfully aware of everything around him as he had his fill; the frailness of his new form, his chakra burning in his chest like a raging inferno, and another, stranger power lurking within him. But above all, he felt the great gaping void where Kurama ought to be.
It stung. Stung like nothing else.
They say dying has a way of breaking a man; perhaps it had broken him. He wasn't insane, not by any means or measure. Madness would have been a blessing. That said, he certainly had far less patience for this sort of thing than he would have prior. Willow, he could tolerate. She'd brought him back into the world. But the others kept yapping over him like a band of dogs, no, like a pack of-
"Zasshu..."
Several brows rose, but snickers prevailed as they heard the description of the newborn babe speaking so callously.
The word slipped from his lips before he could think to hold it back. Not a baby's voice, but that of a young man, sharp and angry.
A silence fell over the room. One of the doctor's broke it. "Miss Willow?! Did...did he just talk?!
Naruto winced slightly. Had he? "Oops...?"
"He did it again!"
"Ok, speaking baby... that's a first." Yang said.
"I mean, could be worse." Weiss snickered, "He could have called them a very rude word." she spoke.
"Kids these days hear a lot worse at home. I don't see a problem with a infant saying what is on his mind." the blond responded.
"You wouldn't, ya neanderthal." Weiss scowled as Yang laughed.
Willow gasped suddenly and held him tighter, her entire body quivering. "I-I think the other one's coming...!"
The doctors went work quickly. One of them spread her legs again. "Push, Miss Schnee!"
Another reedy cry split the air -not his!- and the fax paus was soon forgotten.
"There she is!" the doctor cried. "Its a girl! She's healthy!"
"And now we see the little Weiss-Cream enter the world through unnatural means." Yang spoke similar to a documentary speaker.
"Unnatural?" Weiss scowled.
"Yang, don't speak ill of the mentally disabled." Blake sighed.
"WHAT!?" Weiss shrieked lividly.
Ruby poked her fingers together nervously, "Well... they aren't exactly wrong." she mumbled.
Neo smirked, this was comedy.
Naruto blinked bleary eyes, brought up short by the sudden revelation. He had a sister? No, a twin! Well, that was certainly unexpected. Unexpected, but not unwanted. He'd always wanted a sibling in his first life. It would have made everything so much better. He couldn't see her at this angle, not properly, but he could sense her all the same. She seemed quite...normal. Not Kurama, then. Pity. He would've enjoyed teasing him had he been reborn a a girl...
"You know, I'd laugh if a male friend were reborn as a girl too." Nora giggled.
"Pretty sure any of us would." Pyrrha snickered.
"Especially when puberty set in." Weiss snorted.
The males shivered. They did not want to deal with anything that revolved around that!
"Weiss! Give her to me!" the woman demanded. "Let me see my daughter!"
Naruto sniffed, made somewhat indignant by the simple name.
And then, quite suddenly, there she was.
Just like that he found another small, swaddled pink form tucked against him. A crown of pale white hair adorned the babe's pink head. Her eyes -no doubt the same shade as Willow's- were unfortunately squeezed quite shut while she wailed at the world. Such a pair of lungs she had! Nothing seemed to calm her. No amount of rocking on Willow's part would soother her, and she refused to eat.
'Feisty little thing...'
"So it wasn't just a spur of the moment thing with you!" Ruby called as she stood up and pointed at Weiss.
"I don't understand?" Weiss said with a raised brow.
"You are always whining over the little things, this explains so much!" Ruby called out.
"Ruby... this version of me was just born!" she told the hyperactive girl, "Pretty sure that's a traumatic ordeal going from a liquid aminic environment to a non-liquid aminic environment and forced to breath a unfamiliar thing hurts." she pointed out dully.
"No no, she's got a point." Blake agreed pointing to Ruby.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" Weiss asked, demanded, from the Faunus.
On a whim, Naruto extended a subtle, unseen thread of chakra her way to soothe her cries.
It worked far better than he could have hoped. Weiss jolted in Willow's arms. Her eyes snapped open, terribly startled. They were the brightest shade of blue he'd ever seen. She saw him. He saw her. Something settled in his heart as he stared at her, filling the great gaping void Kurama had left behind.
"Aww..." the girls cooed.
The guys rolled their eyes, girls.
...maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.
Willow made a pleased noise. "Winter, come here, dear. Say hello to your siblings."
A tiny face poked over the bed, bright orbs sparking with curiosity. Belatedly he recognized the white hair, pale visage, and blue eyes. Dazed though he was at the moment, Naruto immediately saw the family resemblance. It was impossible not to, and he nearly recoiled despite himself. He had a big sister?! This "Winter"-he was beginning to sense a trend with the letter W here!-couldn't be more than five years old and she had all the sheer, boundless curiosity of a child her age.
"Winter is so cute for her age." Nora cooed.
"Yea, then she grew into a overconfident diva." Juane muttered to himself.
"I'm sorry, did you say something?" Weiss said scowling towards the blond male.
"Nope, just that she's adorable." Juane chuckled nervously.
"That's what I thought." Weiss snorted.
Juane shuddered. He needed to watch what he said.
A pale finger stroked the top of his head. "They're so small...
Winter tutted and nudged her hand away. "Of course they are, my dear girl...
But here came the doctors again, kicking up a fuss; wanting to check him and Weiss, make certain he was healthy, run a battery of tests-
Naruto's senses might be sharper, but so too was his temper. He'd had quite enough of these people pawing over him...!
He wanted to be left in peace, damnit!
Something shifted deep inside him.
'ENOUGH!'
A white glyph shimmered into existence over his head and swatted the nearest doctor aside. The poor fellow struck a wall and slid down it, insensate.
Winter gasped, looking at him like he'd grown a second head.
That worked alright; it sent the other mongrels scampering away with their tails between their legs. Moreover, no one wanted to touch him or Weiss. Good! Let them fuss and fret over what they'd seen here today. No one would believe them. After all, babies didn't talk. They certainly didn't unlock their semblance only a few minutes after their birth. No, nonsense, of course not...
Willow laughed and held him close. "My darling boy. You're going to be absolutely brilliant...
Naruto didn't cry. On the contrary. He did quite the opposite.
He laughed.
"Oh Oum, what has this world come to." Blake sighed.
"A interesting crossroad is what." Yang grinned.
(.0.0.0.)
Ozpin fought down a sudden shudder in his tower.
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?"
How little he knew.
(.0.0.0.)
"Trust me on this one, you don't wanna know." Ren sighed as he rubbed his temples.
"You say that as if it were a bad thing?" Ruby questioned.
"Because I did." Ren responded to the little reaper.
There was something terribly wrong with the Schnee family.
To be fair, Naruto realized that rather early on; he simply wasn't able to act on it until he was five.
By then he at least had some semblance
"He so took that one from me!" Yang pouted as the other's snickered.
"I guess you can say he beat you to the punch!" Ruby said eagerly.
"And you killed it..." Blake sighed.
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND MY VISION!" the reaper cried out.
-ha!- of control over his body, enough to know when it would and wouldn't fail him...
...unlike this family.
Which was precisely why he felt things needed to change around here.
These days, the Schnee Manor felt cold. Sterile. Hollow and empty. It should be a thriving bastion of life, home to a happy family, not a place of sadness and sorrow. He had few fond memories of this place. The last five years had not been kind.
Weiss grunted unpleasantly. She remembered these years, father was always more worried about putting money into the coffers than the care of his workers-including the Board of Directors.
And he knew why.
He caught sight of himself in a mirror as he walked by and shook his head.
He'd become one of smartest people in Atlas, not arrogance that, but simple undisputed fact, and he saw the signs all around. He'd used these last five years well, learning and training where a child would be playing. He'd been eighteen when he died the first time and his mind was relatively intact, so he put it to good use, learning everything he could.
"That's actually pretty smart of him. I don't know if I would have done something similar if I were in his shoes." Pyrrha hummed.
"Pretty sure we all would learn all we could about where we were if we were in his position." Juane shrugged.
"At least he was honest about his prior life and its shortcomings." Ren nodded in slight admiration.
Death had...not broken him per se, but it had hardened his heart in some ways. In his first life he'd been foolish, and likewise made foolish mistakes. In his haste to save everyone in arms reach, he'd all but rushed to his own demise. He wouldn't make the same mistake twice. This time he would save those he deemed worthy. No more, no less.
Jacques was not worthy; not in the least.
"Saw that one coming." Weiss muttered.
"Pretty sure we all did." Yang responded.
"Yea your dad isn't exactly...a people person." Ruby said poking her fingers together.
"Yea... and I hate to agree with you... but you're right..." Weiss hung her head.
That wretched weasel cared precious little for his children, only the family name and the lien it brought him. Nothing more. He was too busy trying to weed out his competitors -and turn a profit!- to care of the enemies he was making, Faunus and otherwise. He'd warned him about that once. Jacques hadn't heeded his words. Why should he? To him, wealth, fame, and power were all that mattered; clinging to his past glories and lording his accomplishments over others like he was some kind of king.
Such a mongrel. A true king did not cling to such things, and Jacques was no king.
"Ok, even I know that he'd need some ice for those burns." Nora snickered.
"Weiss, would you do the honors?" Juane smirked.
"Oh yes, because I use ice in my Semblance, makes me automatically qualified!" Weiss said with a twitching eye.
"Yea kinda." Ren shrugged.
Willow was teetering on the edge; she'd begun drinking last year after a nasty argument with "Father" and hadn't been the same since. She was his mother. He wanted to help her, he did, but despite what she'd said to him at his "birth" she'd been such a disappointment lately...
Winter...well. He'd begun to nurse a grudge against his dear "sister". She was going to leave. Take the easy way out. Abandon them for the military, flee to the once place were Jacques couldn't touch her. Unacceptable. Utterly unacceptable. You didn't forsake family. Certainly not when they needed you. Yet she seemed prepared to do just that.
Weiss, at least, was worthy.
"Ok, I can understand wanting to change mother, but Winter? She joined because she felt she could do better work as a soldier than a CEO to the SDC, but I will take that compliment gladly." Weiss said pleasantly.
"Of course she would." Blake sighed silently.
She was him, and he was her. They were twins. Two halves of a greater whole. She understood him, just as he did her. She worked for her accomplishments, she earned her skills, practicing dutifully every day, be it her singing or her semblance practice. Soon she'd graduate to using proper steel. Soon, but not yet. No one could trust a five-year-old with live dust.
He was curious to see what she would become; what direction her semblance would take.
Sage only knew his had already diverged down a different path.
"Really?" Yang asked with a raised brow, "not gonna show us?" she asked.
"Pretty sure it will do that on its own." Weiss responded.
"No, I have to agree with yang on this one, I wanna see it also." Ruby nodded her head.
Ah, but he digressed.
In the end, everyone else in the manor was wrapped up in themselves, in their own little world, the cowards. They couldn't see what was happening around them. They didn't want to. They didn't care for one another, not for him, and they certainly didn't care for Weiss. They were blind.
No longer.
He would make them see.
Even if he had to drag them to the light himself.
Cowards died so many times on the inside, and each time they lost a piece of themselves. Became lesser. But not him. He would give nothing up. He would be worthy of his new name. And besides, all this conflict pained Weiss, hurting her more and more every day. So he did what any reborn brother would do:
He took charge.
"He...did it... for me..." Weiss said in a whisper, nobody hearing her due to how silent she was, and she was amazed by her new twins thoughts.
(.0.0.0.)
"You've had enough."
Willow raised her head from her desk, bottle in hand, and squinted through bleary eyes.
Through swimming vision, she spied a crop of white hair. Something ugly curdled in her chest.
Jacques. Of course it was Jacques. Fury burned beneath her breast at the sight of her so-called husband, searing through her pleasant stupor. What more did he want from her? Hadn't he already taken enough? Her duty, her identity, her very pride. He'd broken her. Their marriage was a baited hook, a lie, a sham, one she'd swallowed and summarily choked on. Had he come to demand another child of her? She had nothing left to give. It was too much. Too painful. No more, no more...
Her head kissed the desk again. "Leave me be."
He sniffed. "I will not."
"LEAVE!"
She burst out of her seat, rounded on him with a shriek, and swung her bottle, braining him with it.
"AH!" Nora jumped in shock.
"She really domed your brother with a wine bottle!" Juane felt his jaw drop.
"Whelp, down goes Willy..." Yang said.
"That was in terrible tase, even for you." Blake told the blond.
She felt her head hang, "Yea... that sounded better in my head." she agreed.
...such was her intent.
Instead, a hand caught her wrist. Gently yet firmly, holding her in place.
"Oh thank god." Weiss sighed in relief.
"Yea, gotta agree with ya on that one Weiss-Cream." Yang nodded.
"You only want to apologize for that sleazy joke you pulled seconds ago." Weiss rounded on the nervous blond.
"No more drinking, Mother." Wait. That didn't sound like Jacques at all. "You're cut off."
Mother?
With that, her bleary vision finally cleared and she saw him.
It wasn't Jacques at all, but her son. Her son. Her boy. Her brilliant baby boy.
William looked downright regal today, but then again, her son always took great pride in his appearance these days; from his keen blue eyes, to his snow-white hair, swept back and up from his forehead, spiked locks straining for the sky. She rather liked the new look; a far cry from the untidy mess he'd once had. These days he wore the Schnee colors; a white jacket over a blue shirt, a silver tie etched with a hint of red, alongside light blue pants. The shoes, mercifully, were a rich charcoal black.
"Awww~!" the girls cooed when they saw him.
"Not gonna lie, it's a nice suit." Ren and Juane agreed.
"I wanna pinch those chubby little cheeks, he's so cute!" Ruby shook in her seat.
The latter tapped now on the floor, rapping out an impatient rhythm.
He held out his free hand. "Give me the bottle."
Willow wilted. "I don't want to...
"I wasn't asking."
Reluctantly, she yielded it to him.
The very second she did, William grabbed it and whipped it against the wall with a spectacular crash. Red wine sluiced lazily down the wall to drip upon the carpet. It rather reminded Willow of blood. The thought made her shiver a little.
"Yes, rebellion!" Nora cheered.
"I don't think that counts until he hits thirteen." Pyrrha told her.
Nora drooped over in depression, "But... but, anarchy, destruction, he's throwing a temper tantrum!" she said with crocodile tears in her eyes.
"It's called an intervention." Blake supplied.
"NEVER!" Nora rebuked as she pointed at her friend.
Unfortunately, her son didn't stop there.
Still gripping her wrist, he dragged her behind him and stalked about the room, destroying every bottle he found. There were many. Some were already emptied. Most...were not. Some he threw against walls. The rest he simply stomped down on, rendering their contents so many stains on the carpet. By the end his once pristine shoes ran red and the floor was a wash of wine and broken glass.
Willow blinked blearily at this feet. "You've ruined your shoes...
"MOTHER! THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE HERE!" Weiss exclaimed as several of the other's tried not to laugh, and earning a glare from the silver haired heiress.
William didn't dignify that with a response. In short order, her son frog-marched her out the devastated study and into the living room, uncaring of the crimson footprints he left behind. From there he forced her down onto a lounging couch. She didn't dare struggle. Not with that wrathful look in his eye.
"This stops today." A finger thrust itself in her face. "Weiss needs you. I need you. Winter certainly does."
"But I-
"No buts!" a horde of white glyphs briefly bloomed at his back -and she glimpsed the teeming weapons within- before he mastered himself. "Stop feeling sorry for yourself! We need you!"
If only it were that easy. "You don't need me. I'm a wretched mother...I've left you all alone...
A host of indescribable emotions flashed across her son's face. For a moment, she wondered if he would actually attack her. Eventually, he settled on anger again. "I know you have. I'm not blaming you for that. You had your reasons." He laid a hand over hers, stroking her knuckles gently. "But you can't stay like this." his fingers gripped hers. "He wants you to be like this. Broken. Defeated. Miserable."
"I mean, he's not exactly wrong." Blake agreed.
"Weiss, we need to find this version of your twin here and bring him in." Yang said looking to the silver haired girl.
"He doesn't exist, this is a story if you recall... one which we just started." she responded.
She goggled at him. "What do you want from me?"
"I want you to stop drinking." her son declared sternly. "I want you to be the woman you were when I was born. "I-we!-want our mother back."
"I can't do that."
"Yes," he disagreed, "you can."
"I can't." she babbled back." Your father's ruined me...
"Don't do it for him." her son smacked her hand, causing her to jump.
"Pfft, he smacked her like she was caught trying to take a cookie from the cookie jar." Yang snorted.
*Gasp* "No, not the cookie jar hand slap!" Ruby whimpered out, "Why, why would he perform such a heinous act on his mother!?" she exclaimed in horror.
Nora smirked, "Speaking from experience?" she questioned.
"Yes, and I have had the privilege of doing it several times myself." Yang said happily.
"Must be nice. I did it to a cousin once." Juane smiled.
"Trust me, there is no better feeling." the blond agreed.
"You monster's, I'm surrounded by barbaric heathens." Ruby shuddered.
"Wow, way to speak of you sister Rubes..." Yang said dully.
"I mean... she's not wrong." Weiss said causing Yang to gasp in shock.
"Do it for us. The best vengeance is in living well, not sinking down into this pit of misery. You're not alone. We're here for you. And who knows?" An eerie gleam flickered through those blue orbs as he smiled at her, "Jacques won't be around forever. Accidents happen all the time."
William wasn't implying what she thought he was implying. Surely? Certainly not!
"No, it sounds exactly as it he said it, don't think to hard about it." Ren shook his head.
"If I were in her shoes, I would have divorced him when he first started showing his true colors." Pyrrha stated.
"Yea, to bad some dreams never come true..." Ren agreed.
"I feel as if you insulted me..." Nora said to her friend.
"I mean, it's not entirely true..." Ren muttered to himself.
"NOTICE MY LOVE FOR YOU DAMMIT!" Nora demanded.
...still...
Maybe he was right. Jacques was a wretched, wicked worm, but these were her children. She could at least make an effort for them.
"I...I'll try." she hiccupped.
"I know you will." he stepped in to give her a quick hug, one she found herself returning. "Trust in me. I won't let you drink yourself into an early grave."
His peace said, her kingly son stalked away.
Willow blinked, somewhat taken aback by his abrupt departure. "Where are you going?"
He clicked his tongue. "Don't ask questions you already know the answers to."
Ah. He was going to beat some sense into Winter, then.
She almost pitied her wayward daughter.
Almost.
"Way to have faith in your eldest." Yang snickered.
"If it were up to me, Winter would have never left to the military, but she does good work so I can't complain." Weiss shrugged.
"More like she ran away." Ruby muttered.
"What did you say?" Weiss rounded on her.
"Weiss, she's not wrong, she wanted to get away from the overbearing greed of your old man, and to be honest, We can't blame her." Juane stated somewhat somberly.
"All my hate..." she muttered, "You have every drop of it..." she told the blonde.
(.0.0.0.)
"Hello, big sister~!"
Her little brother was a monster.
"Hah, that's a fast deduction." Ruby muttered.
"There was no holding that one back." Blake sighed.
It pained Winter to think it, much less admit it, but there it was.
"Oof, that's a burner." Juane winced.
However human William Schnee might appear to be on the outside, she knew her little brother was anything but. She'd known it the moment she'd laid eye on him, and he'd only proved her right as the years went by. Little brothers didn't unlock their semblances moments after their birth. Little brothers didn't have a silver tongue capable of swaying anyone to their side. Little brothers certainly didn't ambush her in the middle of the night and...and...
"Snnrk" Yang snorted.
"Oh my." Pyrrha blushed.
"Guys... he's a little kid not even ten." Weiss sighed.
...pin her down like some wild boarbatusk!
"William." she grunted at the little devil currently sitting on her back, wedging her body between the fractured stones of the courtyard. "Let go of me."
"No," bright blue eyes gleamed with cold dispatch. "I don't think I will, dear sister. Its high time you and I had a little...chat."
Winter growled into the gravel. "Now is not the time-
She felt cold steel clasp her arms.
An ominous click echoed it.
No. He wouldn't!
"No no, he totally would." Ren smirked.
"I disagree!" he pushed her nose into the broken masonry when she sought to struggle. "Its the perfect time to talk. No one can hear us out here."
"Why you...!"
She bucked upward, to no avail. He'd already handcuffed her hands together and clearly had no intention of moving.
"My my, how bold of him." Yang smirked as Weiss glowered at her.
"That is not what is happening Xiao-long and you know it." the Heiress stated.
Of course he'd planned for this, the little churl. William possessed all of Father's arrogance but unlike Father, not only did he have power, but he possessed the wisdom and the wit to back it up. Strength in spades. Stamina for days. Speed unsurpassed. He also had a strong sense of righteousness, warped though it might be. If he thought he was right, then he was right, and woe to whomever had the stones to argue with him. Therein lie the problem. He'd taken issue with her wanting to leave for the military. He'd been quite vocal about that.
She hadn't expected him to jump her hours before she caught a bullhead to the academy. Cheeky brat.
Gritting her teeth, she twisted her head around to glare up at her little devil of a brother.
"You do realize you won't get away with this; you can't keep me here forever."
"You're right." he nodded, utterly baffling her. "That would be boring."
"...what?"
William unshackled her and hopped off her back, leaving her to scramble uncertainty to her feet.
"So, he's gonna let her go, just like that?" Ruby asked.
"Seems like it, though I haven't the foggiest reason why." Juane said.
Rubbing her wrists, she cast him a baleful glare. "What are you playing at now?"
"No games." the five-year-old spread his arms wide on either side of him and for a moment, seemed far taller than he was. "Think of this as a...friendly wager. If, by some miracle, you manage to get past me, you're free to join the military. However!" his voice rose sharply, piquing in dark delight. "if you lose..."
He cocked his head, blue eyes gleaming in the light of the broken moon.
"...you stay and be a proper big sister." a finger rose, jabbing her way. "Become a Huntress here in Atlas if that strikes your fancy or what-have-you, I don't care. But you don't join the military."
"Seems simple enough, he is just being overconfident at this point though." Blake sighed.
"And on that we totally agree." Weiss sighed.
Winter considered his words for a moment, regarding her sibling's kingly mien as one might a sleeping Goliath. William was, in many ways, broken. Although he possessed the hereditary Schnee semblance much as she did, he couldn't summon the foes he defeated. Yet for all that, he had no problem using it in...other ways. He'd unleashed his imagination and that made him all the more dangerous.
But to think he could best her? Alone? "Such foolish pride..."
Countless glyphs burst into existence at his back. "Care to repeat that again, sister?"
Team JNPR balked while Weiss felt her jaw drop as Yang roared in laughter, "Something tells me that it's not so simple when it involves him." Ruby cringed to herself.
"YEA! BREAK HER LEGS!"
"NORA!"
She settled into a loose stance, drawing her blade, then palming the hidden dagger withing. "You're arrogant."
"I'm truthful." he countered, crossing both arms before his chest. "You had no problem leaving us; so why should you have any problem fighting me? You clearly think you'll win."
She did. She was older than him. Stronger. Faster. She didn't even have to beat him in a fight; she just had get past him.
Simple, no?
Yes, she could do this.
Winter raised her dual blades.
William cackled abruptly, without warning.
And her vision swelled with dozens of angry swords.
"BWAHAHAHAHA!" Yang fell over in laughter.
"He so cheated..." Ruby pouted, "I wanted to see a fight."
"That's, what... but. huh..." Weiss couldn't form a proper sentence from what she had seen.
"Well, didn't see that coming." Blake blinked.
(.0.0.0.)
Weiss practically pounced on him the next morning.
Quite literally. She liked jumping on beds.
Who knew?
Not him.
"William!" he awoke to her shouting his name, practically shaking him to and fro. "Winter's staying! Did you hear?!"
"Happy little Weiss is excited little Weiss." Jaune snickered.
"Uh no, I am not happy." said heiress pouted.
"No, she's just hyper." Ren smirked.
Naruto creaked a blue eye open, trying not to smile. "As a matter of fact, I did...
He'd been tempted to deal with their so-called "Father" as well, but that would take time, more than he could accomplish in a day. A faker like him deserved a long, slow, agonizing end. He couldn't simply kill him outright; that
Ah, but his dear sister was speaking again and he must attend.
"And mother actually made breakfast this morning!"
A yawn. "What're the chances of that...?"
Weiss caught on at once and down on his legs, to pin him in place, clever girl that she was. "What did you do?"
He fought down the surge of vindictive glee. "I haven't the foggiest idea what you mean."
"LIAR!" Ruby cried out as she pointed at the screen, "YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID!"
"Calm down Ruby, it's only a a story." Weiss sighed.
She practically yanked him upright, eyes alight with curiosity. "What. Did you. Do?"
This time, he didn't bother to hide his grin. "Are you angry?"
She huffed. "I am not angry. Just confused. Talk."
No getting out of this it seemed. "...have it your way. It went like this..."
He could take a tongue lashing. So long as Weiss was happy.
She was his greatest treasure.
For she was Worthy.
"Awww~" the girls all swooned at his thoughts for his twin.
"Well, that ends the chapter." Yang said smiling.
Neo snapped his finger's, "Alright everyone, this is where thing's get interesting." he announced.
"Interesting, how so, I mean, we can already establish that Naru-I mean William will be a powerful ally to have, so how does this make thing's interesting?" Pyrrha asked curiously.
"I just got word that I am to show you something that is going to occur in the future of the story, nothing major." he told them.
"So, why the tv?" Yang asked.
"It's to show you what is going to take place, more as a movie-esque way to tell this part rather than have you imagine it play out." he told her, "This is the last portion before we move on to chapter 2" he explained, "And, in addition to showing you these particular occurrences, it will be the only time you witness these spoiler's."
"The only time? You mean the other's will be repeated?" Ruby asked.
"Not exactly." Neo told her, "When there are enough spoiler's collected, then they will be shown. Right now, you are seeing roughly 4 chapter's and the potential. This particular spoiler is going to occur several chapter beyond those, and I feel it'd be best to reveal this one rather than shock you later when the scene plays out in full form and kills you from shock." he explained.
"Well, we can't sit here waiting all day, let's see this thing!" Yang said excitedly.
WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!
SPOILERS AWAIT YOU!
YE BE WARNED!
"MOM!"
"Who is tha-"BLAKE?!"
Kurama had half a second to brace himself.
Ghira and Kali Belladona hit him like an absolute freight train, swept him up into their arms and squeezed.
"Aww, look at little blake, she's so cute!" Weiss gushed.
Blake winced, not at the scene, her father was... a bit a hugger to be honest, and he truly never watched how much effort he used when he hugged someone other than Mother.
"BAHAHAHA, that guy got crushed!" Yang howled in laughter.
"Oh my." Pyrrha blushed.
"RUBY! There you are! We were so worried!"
"So that's her mother, hmm? I can see the resemblance..."
Keen silver eyes rounded on him. He didn't miss the way Summer's hand rested on her ax.
'Oh? Does she actually realize how dangerous I am? Amusing, how very amusing!'
"Wait, when did you go to Atlas?" Weiss asked.
"We've never been, and our mom died when we were really young." Ruby said with wide eyes.
"I know that much, I was just curious." the heiress stated.
"Hmm, kinda curious how she figured out his true power." Yang commented.
"Of course you are." Weiss sighed.
Amateurs. He scowled down at contestants arrayed in the arena. Although...
A smile split his face.
"Maybe I can have a little fun here."
Weiss saw his expression and blanched. William, no."
"William maybe..."
"He so gets it from your side of the family." Nora grinnd cheekily.
"Which side are you referring to? The good side, or the bad side, cuz from where I am standing, that is all good side." Yang licked her lips.
"Eww, that's my brother you're ogling." Weiss cringed.
"I know Weiss-Cream, but you have to admit, he does look good."
"Ugh, you're despicable." she groaned
The world rippled. That was the best way, the only way Weiss felt, to describe what followed. Her brother held a hand toward the sky. A glyph bloomed above his hand, shimmering just above his fingertips. Then another. Another. Yet another still. As she looked on he reached into it.
"Let me show you...just what exactly real power is. in the hands of someone who controls it."
And heaven answered.
"So, are we not ever gonna witness his Semblance in action?" Ruby asked.
"Apparently not." Nora pouted, "I wanna see some broken legs." she stated crossing her arms.
"What is it with you and broken legs?" Juane asked her.
"I don't know, something just riles me up at the thought of crushing femurs." the orange haired girl admitted.
"We need to get you to a therapist." Pyrrha said in worry.
"We tried that years ago, ended up having to send that therapist to a therapist of their own." Ren admitted.
"Checkmate."
Weiss reared back in surprise, regarding the chess pieces arrayed before her. "How?!"
"That's cuz he is smart!" Ruby poked the side of her temple with a stuck out tongue.
"You need a new hobby. That show is gonna rot your brain." Yang said staring at her sister.
"Hey, Golden Girls is a great show." Ruby pointed at her sister.
*Note to self: Potential Team Name notes for initiation, keep this for late. Don't forget. Can't forget.
SVRN?* Considering* JWBY? *No, won't work, Coeur did that.* SYBL? *Might work.* CRDA? *Move some letters around. *CARD? What color would that even be?!
"Oh, new teams due to a new character interrupting?" Nora leaned in towards the screen.
"Yes actually." Neo stated.
"Huh, go figure." the hammer user blinked.
Laughter split the air. "Not so brave now, are you, MONGRELS?!"
Grimm died in droves, fleeing for their lives.
Weiss palmed her face. "There's no stopping him when he's like this...
"What is it with him using the word Mongrel all the time?" Yang asked.
"It's his catchphrase." Pyrrha shrugged.
"Something like that." Neo sighed. He did NOT wanna have to go into depth for that one.
"Well, you certainly don't lack for confidence."
Cardin gulped. "What the hell are you?"
"I...am the solution. Now, what was that you said behind my back? I believe you laughed at me."
He spread his arms. The Emerald Forest went still.
"But you're not laughing now."
"OOf, that's forboding." Juane cringed.
"Is, that our initiation?" Yang asked.
"Uh no, can't be, that's definitely after." Ren said leaning in to look closer, yea no it wasn't.
"You managed to hit me. Wonderful. You have my undivided attention."
Countless white portals bloomed behind him, teeming with death.
"I HOPE ITS EVERYTHING YOU WANTED."
Spoiler. It was not.
Not at all.
"Oh ho ho ho, I would pay to see THAT FIGHT." Nora said with eager and wide eyes.
"You are not going to another fight if I have to say anything about it." Ren told her.
"Aww, but cage fights are so much fun." she pouted.
The others leaned away from Nora.
She frowned at him for a long moment. "What are you...?"
"Many things." he sipped at the flute of wine languidly. "A dead man. A brother. A leader. And also..."
He raised his gaze. Blue eyes shimmered red.
"...an executioner."
"That's scary." Yang shuddered.
"Oh my..." Pyrrha had to fan herself. That was... *Shudder*
"Are you alright?" Juane asked her.
"Oh me?" Pyrrha asked him, "Perfectly fine.
She was NOT FINE, that was fine.
"You can't just be strong! You have to be smart! You can't just be deserving, you have be WORTHY! And you aren't! None of you are!"
He whirled and thrust a finger behind him.
"Only she is."
"Daw~! He says you're worthy of his love and admiration." Ruby nudged the Schnee heiress.
"I'm sure he meant it in another fashion." she responded
With a grin, William raised the strange weapon overhead, and seconds after the weapon; let out a roar. Wind's screech in terror as the air is cut apart from the blade's activation before the very skies erupt as electricity roars out from the weapon, crashing across the land as clouds begin to rapidly begin to whip up around him, a menacing red glow filling the air in which he stood and looked down upon the world.
"This fight now has my full attention." William grinned manically as he clenched his hand upon his weapon and called out, "Ea!" the already rapidly rotating cylinder-like sections glowing red/white from the sheer amount of power coursing through the weapon. Powerful storm-cloud's quickly building up from the sheer potency of his energy, "You may sing praise as you like!" he declares, aiming the godly weapon down towards the earth, a grin of excitement upon his face, the explosion of energy rippled through the air as lightning sparked from the increased output of speed. Chakra and aura fed into the blade churning the cyclonic weapon further.
"Whoa, what kind of weapon is that?" Ruby asked somewhat excited.
"Ea? Is there a reason it has such a strange name?" Weiss asked Neo.
"There is, but explaining it would take too much time. Let' just say it is no ordinary weapon and leave it at that." he explained.
"Did you see that, that weapon altered the weather like it was nothing!" Nora said with excited glee.
"Wow, that's amazing." Ren agreed.
"Holy crap." Juane blinked.
Across the land, past the sea, and through the lands beyond, the snarling energy had not gone unnoticed, for everyone had been brought to a halt in whichever activities they were conducting. Man, woman, child, pet, monster and beast alike all stopped as the power of the deistic weapon was unveiled.
This was William's most prized weapon, The Star that Split Heaven and Earth, his Sword of Rupture: Ea. It doesn't matter if there is one opponent or even an entire army facing it, so long as they are a part of this world they will be ripped apart regardless of their power. That is what it means to take a full powered blow from the nigh almighty Sword of Rupture. And as of right now, there is but one person who was willingly standing against that very blow. This very blow was to be his greatest and most heartfelt gift to his oldest and only true friend who remained, the long awaited gift to grant upon their long awaited reunion. A bolt of red lightning shoots across the sky as it arcs through the clouds with a rumble, the storm increasing in power as he fully grasps his strength now within the blade he held.
"So it's strong?" Blake asked rhetorically.
"Try deistic." Neo grunted.
"That's not possible. If it's a Godly weapon, then it wouldn't be possible for him to remotely touch it as it can be considered a Primordial power." the cat Faunus stated.
"In a sense, it was designed to be that way." he responded.
The Sword of Rupture snarled hungrily as sparks of crimson electricity spark around its length, the air thrummed as lightning sparked and the thunder would crash through the sky as it turns to grow even further. The earth beneath is being pulled apart, cracking to pieces as the strength of the cyclone grows as the speed of the winds above increase vastly with each passing second. Rain had begun to pour down from the heavens, flooding the forest beneath as it continued falling with unrelenting force as the two begin to ready themselves for the inevitable clash with one another.
Crimson lightning roared as it exploded across the skies, contained for the moment within the clouds overhead as the storm continued to grow. This would not be an ordinary thunderstorm. This would not be a hurricane… this was the clash of two men exalted as gods in a very different life, made legendary by the will of the very planet itself so as to protect or destroy it upon call.
The forces of both heaven and earth clash against each other. The heaven's shook, the earth rippled as chakra and aura spread through the air and across the land.
The reunion was an unexpected one.
Neither had really planned for it.
Neither had truly even expected it.
And yet it happened.
"I am happy...so happy..." the red haired Faunus smiled at him,
"ADAM!?" Blake cried out in shock, "Why the hell is he here, and facing William of all people in a fight?!" she demanded.
"Just watch." Neo said patiently.
"No-no, she's got a point." Ruby said in agreement.
"Who is the one being that Naruto declared his one and only friend just as they died?" Neo asked blankly.
"Y-You mean..." Blake asked weakly.
"Yup." Neo nodded.
"He is..." she gulped.
"Uh-huh." he said.
"Oh dear..." Nora said blinking.
"To be able to compare my abilities..." he said as the wind grew in ferocity, he raised both arms, widely spread as he fully immersed himself where he was free to embrace his power, his chakra and aura pulsating as he accepted the challenge from best friend...his only friend, "To finally be able to freely challenge you like this once again old friend." he stated as rain began to fall from the high heavens. He lowered his arms as he spoke in a more firm tone, "In modern terms... I'm gonna go all out...Naruto..." he said, declaring his friend's true name seriously, droplets of rains hovering in the air as an unspeakable and even more unfathomable power flexed itself.
"Oh wow." Pyrrha blinked in astonishment.
"Ok, gotta admit, that shot was pretty sick." Yang nodded.
"Are they really this powerful to affect even the world around them?" Weiss asked with a shiver.
"You will have the answers you seek soon." Neo explained.
"I'm sure you feel the same excitement as I, don't you?" the redhead grinned in excitement, "The moment that we died, the second we split apart...this very world turned hollow..." he grinned ferally. White light built in his hands, beautifully blinding in all it's glorious purpose. Dark chakra built up as it coalesced and formed a new energy in his palm where it swelled in the Faunus' palms, "You better show me you haven't gone soft without me, because I've suffered hardships of my own while I was away, and now I need to see what you can really do... in order to show you my own growth... and then we will see, just who between us has grown more." he stated in excitement, "Now come at me with all that you have...!" He growled before he roared, "Yes…come at me bro~!" as he unleashed everything he was holding back.
The heavens roared as the earth quivered, the land rumbling as the two accepted one another's challenge happily.
White lightning flashed through the sky as the chakra and aura of the Faunus was unleashed as one entity. Crimson electricity holding the power of annihilation slammed through the clouds and crashed down as the energy of both creation and destruction filled the air. Red Lightning surged through the clouds before it ultimately fell from the heavens as golden lightning crashed through the air and fell out of the clouds to meet it in challenge. The world waged war with itself, a massive surge of power unlike anything witnessed in uncounted years.
The storm was glowing a multitude of colors, red-yellow-white-blue-green and even purple as the energies within clashed time and again with one another, a massive funnel of winds whirling down to the earth to birth a massive typhoon between the two combatants. The clouds rotated with immense speeds, churning the superstorm between with no limits, the world heeded the power and granted it all it had.
"Wow...look at that..." Nora said in awe.
"They're altering the planet... I never seen such a thing before." Pyrrha said in wonder.
"That's pretty legit I gotta say." Yang nodded.
BOOM~ CRASH~ BOOM~ ZAP~ KA-BOOM~ BOOM~ CRASH~
Strike after strike, bolt after bolt, crash upon crash, one explosion after the other; the heavens reigned ultimately supreme as they unleashed their wroth down upon the mortal realm. Atoms and protons collided before lightning crashed through the air with explosive force, lighting up the dark sky with frightening strength. Under the brunt of all this power, the heavens growled, the earth quaked, and the whole of Remnant shook to her core as red and gold lightning flashing through the air. The clouds continued to gather, growing darker and darker each second and expanding to become one massive hurricane of raw unconstrained power. Tornadoes swirled down from the storm cloud's and struck the earth, ripping the land apart. The Class-4 Supercell Hurricane was growing far to fast for shocked weather reporters to calculate the strength, just knowing it was to be the most unforeseen and undoubtedly the most powerful in all of history.
"What the hell!?" Yang exclaimed as she watched the scene unfold.
"T-That's not possible!" Blake cried out.
"What the fuck is this!?" Weiss called in shock.
"It's a whole natural disaster... they'll destroy everything..." Ruby whimpered.
"Amazing... they're changing the weather itself with nothing but sheer force of strength." Juane said in awe.
"That's amazing... look at the color's." Ren said pointing to the various color's flashing across the screen.
"Mankind won't stand a chance fighting them." Pyrrha shivered.
"SOMEONE BREAK A LEG!" Nora cheered... she liked breaking legs.
As this unfathomable power escalated further a voice filled the air, a voice demanding that each and every person heed it, and all listened as commanded, William-Naruto-had began speaking in the tongue native to that of the Elemental Nations from which none on Remnant-save one other-could ever hope to comprehend, "Gensho o kataru," while he spoke, his once beautiful blue eyes now glowed red as blood-as Ea currently did in his hand.
"Ok, I hate to pause it at such a critical moment, and at such an amazing scene, but what in the name of Oum is he saying?" Weiss asked.
"I will explain at the end of the chapter." Neo explained.
"Fine, but I don't like it." the silver haired teen huffed as she crossed her arms.
The ground began shaking under his might as the unfathomable power once again peaked higher and higher, "Tenchi wa wakare mu wa kaibyaku to kotohogu. Sekai o saku wa waga kairi-ken." he declared, a flash of red electricity shooting past him, his grin filled with excitement for the inevitable clash with his best and only friend.
While none of the eight teens said anything, they couldn't help but shiver. They couldn't tell if it was from excitement or terror. However, they knew that the words William had finished speaking were words meant to declare a very explicit meaning; one to show the world what true power looked like.
A grin split the Faunus' face, uncaring as the wind tore his words away, his own voice changing to match his friends growing power, "Horobi o fumikoeru, horobi o motarasu monodakara. Yueni~!"
"Wait, they're both speaking in this language?" Yang asked.
"Yes, I believe they're doing it to make a statement to the other rather than themselves." Blake hummed in thought.
"Hoshi no o mawasu, tenjō no jigoku to wa, sōsei zen'ya no shūchaku yo~!" William-Naruto-declared loudly, his voice echoing through the storm as the clashing of two primordial forces begin ripping the fabric of reality apart as cracks appeared around the epicenter of their growing strength, bolts of crimson lightning crashing around him as the eye of the storm swelled with power.
"What the heck?!" Nora exclaimed as she jumped back in her seat.
"D-Did he just...crack reality?!" Weiss asked in shock.
"What the hell is going on!?" Yang demanded.
"My gods... they aren't normal..." Blake shivered.
As they finished gathering the last vestiges of their power, the sun peaked over the horizon, illuminating the super-storm that had been conjured from the energy being released.
They grinned at one another, words echoing through the destruction.
"ENUMA~/BIJUU~!"
"DAMA~/ELISH~!"
The world cried out.
And their forces clashed…
All that remained was light….
The room returned to normal and Yang snatched up the book, "Where the hell did he get that thing?!" she demanded, "Hell, what maniac designs such a weapon in the first place!?" she cried out.
"Did you guys see that...that level of power?" Juane shuddered.
"Y-Yea... we saw it..." Ren shook in his seat.
"How did he manage to get strong enough to do that?" Weiss asked in shock, "Just what did he do?" she questioned.
Pyrrha was awed beyond words, "I-I can't say, I-I-I don't know." she was so utterly shocked by what she saw taking place.
"How can two people wield so much force alone?" Nora asked with shivers running across her body. That was as terrifying as it was incredible!
"I mean, the weapon that he used was cool, but...I don't think even I could ever want something like that around me." Ruby said nervously.
"And you shouldn't." Neo commented calmly.
"What were they even saying during that exchange?" Blake asked as she looked to Neo.
The man takes the book from Yang, "It's on the next page." he said passing it back to her.
"Let's see..." Blake hummed as she glanced at the page.
"What does it say?" Ren asked her.
"For Naruto it reads: I will tell you of the beginning. Heaven and Earth Split, nothingness praised Creation, and my sword cleaved the world asunder. Mortar of the stars, Heaven's Hell, is the eve of Creation's celebration!" she read off, "As for Adam-er Kurama it says, I will stride through the destruction, for I am the bringer of Annihilation. Therefore!" and the attacks were named, "The Star that split Heaven and Earth for Naruto and Beast of Disaster's Final Annihilation" for Kurama..." she finished.

1: Now, seeing as we all know that Neon is using the Strange Fake fight but don't know how he is going to write that up for his story, I simply looked at the trailer fight between Gilgamesh/Archer and Enkidu/Lancer and wrote that. THIS IS MY OWN WRITING TO REPLACE GRAMMAR ISSUES AND SOMETHING TO SURPRISE THE CHARACTER'S IN THE STORY; IT IS BY NO MEANS BEING FULLY USED BY NEONZANGESTSU IN ANY FASHION, IT IS A COPY OF THE TRAILER AND BIT OF THE MANGA FROM THE SERIES SPECIAL MIXED WITH NEON'S OWN VERSION ADDED/CHANGED-it is not part of the story unless Neon makes it so~!
