Two Team Investigation into Vale Street
"I thought that class would never end." Blake said as she and her team have just left the Grimm Class with Professor Port. She is also wearing a new outfit as her teammates are too.
Blake is now wearing a white, v-neck, zip-up crop shirt with a black hem and three-quarter sleeves. Her emblem is printed in off-white on the left side of the shirt. She wears black pants that have a vertical gray stripe on the outer side of each leg and a black belt. Attached to the rear of the belt is a black piece of fabric that covers her from hip to hip. Underneath this is a longer, translucent, purple piece of fabric. She also wears black high-heel boots with two straps and buckles and purple under roles, reaching to mid-calf. She retains the black ribbons on her forearms and her black bow.
She even gave her outfit a codename Intruder.
"Alright, guys, today's the day! The investigation begins!" Ruby announced exciting from her top bunkbed.
Ruby's new outfit codename "Slayer" is a long-sleeve, light gray shirt with black belted cuffs near the ends of the sleeves. Over top of the gray shirt is a black pinafore with two vertical lines of red stitching that resemble the lacing on a corset. She wears a red skirt with a large black print of her emblem on the side and matching black tulle underneath. Her stockings and shoes remain the same as her original outfit, though the boots lack the red trim that decorated the top. A few pieces of metal arranged in the shape of a rose are attached to the shoulder of her left sleeve, and her cloak's hood has been wrapped around her neck in a scarf-like fashion, while the rest hangs down like normal.
"Hold on, Ruby. We have to wait for team JNRRP and Setsuna before we can start anything." Weiss reminded her team leader about the others.
Weiss alternate outfit, Snowpea, is a white, double-breasted pea coat with black piping, cuffs, and buttons over a white, pleated full skirt with black lace trim. She also wears a pair of white, thigh-high boots with black heels and lace-topped black stockings.
"Oh yeah, that means we got more firepower to show those bad guys what we're made of!" Yang excited to pound some bad guys with her fists.
Yang's Hunter outfit is consisting of a deep-collared cream vest worn over a low-cut black shirt; both are covered by a dark gray shrug with a raised collar, three-quarter sleeves adorned with a single black stripe down the outside of each sleeve, and gold cuffs. A black mini skirt is worn under the cream vest. A pair of crooked black belts with gold accents are slung around her hip, with a purple piece of fabric attached to the left-rear section of the lower belt. She wears thigh high stockings attached to her miniskirt by garter-belts on the front and back of each thigh, decorated with four golden studs above her knee and her emblem on the outside of each thigh in gold. She also wears black ankle boots with multiple buckles and white ribbons on the back tied in a bow. Around her neck is a purple pendant set in silver.
"I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously." Weiss said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes.
"Hey, we've got a plan! That's... moderately serious." Yang tried to counter that remark.
"We're here." Jaune called out from outside the room.
"It's open!" Ruby responded.
Team JNRRP enter the room showing them are also wearing different outfits as well.
Jaune, the leader, is wearing black jacket with red color inside and yellow lining on the collar and each one down from the shoulder to the wrist, white shirt with gold buttons underneath the jacket, white smooth pants with the Arc family emblem on the right leg, and black shoes with gold backfoot bottom part and around the front. He also has a black belt with a gold buckle as his sword and shield are striped to his back. He codename this Modern Knight.
"Hope we didn't keep you guys waiting long." Jaune said.
"No, you're actually on right for the little meeting to start." Weiss said.
"Then we better get started." Pyrrha said.
Pyrrha's her new outfit, Scavenger, mostly beige clothes, including the arm wraps, capri-length pants, a shirt with long fabric pieces draped over her shoulders, in addition to a leather belt and bracelet on her left wrist, dark brown boots, and a brown pouch. She also has her shield and blade stripe to her back like Jaune.
"I am so pump than I've ever been before!" Nora excited throwing her fists in the air.
Nora's new outfit is basically a dark pink skintight outfit with matching high heels, green lance sunglasses, her hammer lightning emblem on her belly, and a small pink earpiece in her right ear. She called this outfit Silent Pink which is pretty ironic because Nora is known for being loud and energetic most, if not, all of the time.
"Whoa, Nora, I see you're going for the whole "undercover spy" part!" Yang commented on Nora's outfit.
"Yeah, it was either this or the doggy pink mascot, but I went with this because Ren says that the mascot might make me stand out too much." Nora explained.
"And she was stubborn on choosing another outfit than this one." Ren added.
Ren is wearing a black and green jacket with a collar covering the neck, green pants, and black sandals with a blue forehead protector. He has his pink emblem on the back of the jack and his twin guns striped to each leg. Nora named that one flower ninja as he just went along with it.
"I am so excited; I can't wait to see what we'll find!" Rushuna excited.
Rushuna changed her outfit to a pink long sleeve shirt with small shoulder pads, elbow length gloves, light blue skirt, and yellow boots. She decided to keep her signature hat. The codename for this outfit is Smile.
"Nice, now all that left is Setsuna and we're all good to go." Ruby said.
"Then we better get to it." Setsuna entered the room, wearing her usually combat outfit because she didn't want to waste time changing into something else.
"Great, now we're all here! Everyone remember their roles?" Ruby asked as she jumped down from her top bunkbed.
"The team that will be going to the CCT are you, me, Jaune, Pyrrha, and Rushuna to check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem." Weiss explained her team's role.
"And while we do that, maybe we can look around the streets and see if we can hear any whispers about the White Fang or Roman Torchwick." Jaune added.
"Next is the team that will get some information from the White Fang. That'll be me and Ren, The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If we can get in, we can hopefully find out what they're planning." Blake informed of her team as Ren stands next to her.
"The ones that will be going with me are Nora and Setsuna. I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard..." Yang smirked looking at her fist.
"Can we break his leg if he doesn't talk?" Nora asked.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there." Yang said.
"Just remember that I got permission from Ozpin to go on with this mission as I'm the one who will make sure each of you come back to this school in one piece." Setsuna mentioned.
"What about fighting?" Jaune asked.
"He stated that we are not allow to engage in combat unless it's an emergency and I give the okay, we can't risk having some of you causing a ruckus before we could try getting the answers we seek." Setsuna looked at Yang and Nora with a serious glare making them shiver from their spines.
"Okay, I believe that should cover everything at this point, but I think we should also make sure to message each other every now and then to report the progress of our part." Jaune stated.
"Good idea, can't be too careful when trying to find out the truth." Rushuna nodded.
"Great! We'll meet up tonight near Yang to go over what we found. Let's do this!" Ruby pumped her fist in the air.
"Yeah!" Everyone cheered along with her.
"Yeah!" Another voice shouted, one that didn't belong to anyone in the room.
Everyone slowly turns their heads to the open window of Team RWBY's bedroom to find a young man literally hanging upside down from outside.
"Yo!" The boy greeted with an upside-down peace side.
"Sun!" Blake gasped.
Sun is a tan-skinned boy with short spiky light-blonde hair and blue eyes. He wears two red wrist bracers over black fingerless gloves and an open loose-collared white jacket with no shirt underneath, displaying his muscular physique. He also wears blue cargo pants tied up with a white belt. He wears white bandages on his legs and has a chain hanging from the belt loop on the right side of his pants. He sports black and yellow sneakers and wears a black cord necklace with a round pendant bearing his monkey emblem. He also has a blonde monkey tail showing that he is a monkey-Faunus.
"Isn't he that monkey friend we met the other say in the library?" Rushuna recalled.
"Yeah, Sun Wukong, I believe." Jaune nodded.
"How did you get up there?" Yang asked shock.
"Ah, it's easy; I do it all the time." Sun answered.
"You do what?!" Weiss angered, thinking Sun have done this perverted action before.
"I climb trees all the time!" Sun clarified and flipped himself into the room.
"I think you're from Haven Academy, right?" Setsuna asked.
"That's right. So, are we finally getting back at that Torchwick guy?" Sun asked Blake.
"How'd you know about our plan?" Nora wondered if Sun has super hearing or mind reading power.
"Let just say I have my ways to know things, and I also notices how Blake's eyes were so serious that she was hardly paying in class." Sun explained, remembering Blake's expression back in class.
"You got all that from just how my eyes were?" Blake surprised that Sun was able to see through this.
"So, are we going or not?" Sun asked.
"We are going to investigate the situation... as a team." Blake said gesturing to herself and the two team here along with Setsuna.
"Sorry, Sun. We don't want to get friends involved if we don't have to." Ruby apologized.
"I usually wouldn't mind having more friends to tag along, but I think it would be best to have less people in our group." Rushuna said.
"Psh! That's dumb! We should always get friends involved! That's why I brought Neptune!" Sun pointed at the window with his thumb.
Team RWBY with Rushuna and Jaune went to check the outside of the window to find Sun's friend and teammate literally standing small ledge close to the window looking cool like he's not afraid of falling or anything.
"Sup." Neptune greeted.
Neptune is a teenage boy with tan skin, Blue eyes and messy light-blue hair in the form of an undercut. He wears a white dress shirt and black tie under a red jacket adorned with a wide, upturned, black collar and a silver reticle across the back. He also sports a pair of gray jeans with black padding strapped to the sides as well as black shoes fastened with straps instead of laces. Notable accessories within his attire include black fingerless gloves and a pair of yellow-tinted goggles typically worn on his forehead.
"How did you even get up here?" Ruby asked.
"I have my ways." Neptune shrugged.
"Like being friends with a monkey-Faunus and being drag around to places such as where you're standing right now?" Rushuna asked.
"That's oddly specific, but yeah." Neptune nodded.
"Seriously, though, can I come in? We're like, really high up right now." Neptune asked nervously as he looks down.
They help Neptune get inside the room as the others quickly talk about what to do with him and Sun as they seem to really want to join their group of the investigation.
"Well, it's not like we can say no to them now." Ren stated.
"Then that means they'll have to come along with us." Yang shrugged.
"Okay, I think Sun will go with Blake and Ren for the White Fang rally. Neptune will go with Yang, Nora, and Setsuna." Ruby pushed Neptune to Yang's group as the blue-haired pretty boy winked at Weiss making her blush.
Weiss was about to suggest something but was cut off when Nora step in front of her.
"Okay, time for Operation: Eavesdropping is now on!" Nora declared.
"Yeah, time to get going!" Ruby joined in the declaration of the plan.
"Try not to anything I would do." Sun smirked at Neptune.
"Don't worry, I learn not to from just being around with you." Neptune chuckled.
(Vale City, CCT Tower)
Ruby, Weiss, Jaune, Pyrrha, and Rushuna are seen walking through the city street together pretending there are not doing something serious as they are drawn closer to the tower and the first two girlfriends of Jaune decided to make things interesting by holding his arms between their breasts which causes him to blush of embarrassment.
"Would you three get a room already?" Weiss asked, feeling jealous that she doesn't have a boyfriend yet.
"Why, we're just enjoying being together." Rushuna said.
"Y-Yeah, we're just making sure there aren't any thugs that might work for Roman to see we're up to something." Jaune stated.
"Uh-huh, sure it is." Weiss rolled her eyes as the group is now standing in front of the tall tower.
"Woooow! I forget how big the Transmit tower looks up close!" Ruby amazed.
"I never really seen the tower up close like this at all." Rushuna surprised as this is the first time, she and Jaune are seeing the tower up close like this.
"Well, if you think that's impressive then you should see the one in Atlas!" Weiss smirked.
"That was the first one, right?" Ruby asked.
"Oh yeah, I think I remember reading that in a history book." Jaune tried to remember that.
"Atlas developed the Cross Continental Transmit System to allow the four kingdoms to communicate with one another. It was their gift to the world after the Great War." Weiss explained.
"Oooh, look at me! My name's Weiss! I know facts! I'm rich!" Ruby mimicked playfully causing Rushuna and Jaune to laugh a little which earns a little glare and a pouty face from Weiss.
"Don't be a pest! Besides, the only reason we're here is because you like the tower so much! We could have just as easily made a call from the library!" Weiss pointed out what they could have done instead of coming here in the city.
"I know, but Rushuna said she never seen the tower before, and I wanted to show that it's so coool! Ooh, I'm going to take a picture!" Ruby pulled out her Scroll from her pocket.
"Oh, get one of me, Jaune, and Pyrrha together first!" Rushuna pulled Jaune and Pyrrha forward, standing together for the picture.
"Okay, just gotta…" Ruby tried to get to the camera setting, but suddenly her Scroll slipped out of her hand and bounces as she tries to catch it.
Then the Scroll ended up landing near a person's foot and that person picks it up revealing herself to be Penny.
"You dropped this." Penny held the Scroll out.
"Penny?!" Ruby surprised and runs up to the girls with Rushuna behind her.
"Penny, it's so good to see you again! How have you been?" Rushuna asked, joyful to see a familiar face.
"Uuh?" Penny seemed rather confuse about the two's approach.
"Where have you been? We haven't seen you since that night at the docks!" Ruby asked concern.
"S-Sorry. I think you're confused. Uh... I've got to go!" Penny hiccupped before tossing Ruby back her Scroll and walk away.
"What was that about?" Weiss wondered.
"I don't know, but I'm going to find out. You go make your call! I'll meet up with you later!" Ruby said going after Penny.
"Hold on, I'm coming too!" Rushuna followed Ruby.
"Rushuna, wait! What about the plan?" Jaune shouted, but she and Ruby have already left.
"I'm sure they'll be okay if they're just going to check on their friend." Pyrrha believed.

The investigation operation has started as Team RWBY, JNPRR, and Setsuna are going to see if they can find out anything about the White Fang and Roman Torchwick though it looks like Sun and Neptune decided to tag along. And now Ruby and Rushuna have left the plan to see what is going on with Penny and hope they can help her in some way they can.
