JNPRR Dancing with Flaming Thief
Jaune arrives at the balcony of the Beacon ballroom trying to find Neptune to have a firm talking with him about leaving Weiss alone at the dance, but there doesn't appear to be a sign of him.
"Huh, I thought I saw him come up here." Jaune said to himself, then looks up at the night sky seeing some of the stars.
"Seeing the sky right now reminds me of how Rushuna and I had our nights together when we did some late night training together." Jaune smiled as he remembered those times.
"In fact, I remember the time when I confessed my love to Rushuna that one night last year." Jaune recalled that very moment.
(Flashback)
Jaune is seen in the backyard of his house trying to keep himself calm of the moment he is about to do with Rushuna, but the Arc boy is having a hard time keeping himself calm.
"Oh man, come on, Jaune! You've been practicing this for months with your sisters, which I'm still regretting with all the teasing and embarrassing moments." Jaune talked himself for a little peptalk.
"Jaune, your mother said you're out here." Rushuna called out as she comes out of the house.
"(Oh shit, she's here! Okay Jaune, it's now or never!)" Jaune thought determined and standing strong.
"H-Hey Rushuna, you're looking well." Jaune greeted.
"Thank you, one of your younger sisters wanted to see what I would look like with different color hair, but they ended up fighting about rather to red or blue." Rushuna explained about earlier.
"Yeah, they're gonna be like that for a while." Jaune chuckled.
"Don't worry, your mom is trying to calm down the situation." Rushuna assured with her smile.
"Great, I mean it's great that you're here because there is something I wanted to talk to you about." Jaune smiled but sweating a bit nervous.
"About doing some late-night training? But we free this night." Rushuna reminded him.
"No, no, this… this is more important than training." Jaune said as he takes a deep breath.
"Jaune, is everything alright? You look like you're about to run away with the circus or go out into sea to become a pirate! Or you could be sick." Rushuna guessed randomly.
"It's none of those things." Jaune assured and look at Rushuna in the eyes to summon the courage within himself.
"Rushuna Tendo, ever since you came into my life one year ago and helped change my family's mind with training me, I have been feeling more hope than I can count my fingers." Jaune started his little speech.
"Not to mention, you've been making me feel more complete in the heart with your kindness and determination to bring smiles everywhere you go." Jaune took Rushuna's hands into his.
"Jaune…?" Rushuna surprised of this warm speech that is making her heart race a little.
"Rushuna, I love you with all my heart! Would you do me the honors of… being my girlfriend?" Jaune popped the question.
Rushuna looked very surprise from the confession with tears of joy coming out and her emotions are exploding with happy thoughts, she hadn't felt this happy since her late husband Yajirou made her this happy and now she has found true love yet again with the kind boy named Jaune Arc.
"Oh Jaune, I love you too!" Rushuna confessed and jumped onto Jaune kissing him right on the lips.
Jaune is surprise of the fast respond to his confession, but felt really happy none the less as he returns the embrace and twirls them around as the kiss made their souls feel like they have gone to Heaven for a second and came back seconds later.
"She said yes!" One Arc sister shouted, and the entire family screamed hooray for the happy couple.
But neither of the newly couple cares about that right now for they are only focusing on themselves and they are enjoying the deep love that is bursting anew within them right now.
(Flashback End)
"Yeah, good times." Jaune chuckled.
"Hey, uh, Jaune, right?" Neptune called out walking onto the balcony.
"(Oh, now he shows up.)" Jaune thought exclaimed.
"This party's pretty lame, huh? I mean, ballroom dancing. Pfft." Neptune shared his opinion of the party.
"You know my friends worked really hard on making that party." Jaune stated.
"Sure, cool of them to put in some effort. Cute girls, though, huh?" Neptune said looking back at the dance.
"Is that all you think about?" Jaune asked with a scolding look and Neptune looking confuse.
"Do you even care about the girls you're hitting on? How they feel about you?" Jaune asked looking a little mad.
"Whoa! Where's this coming from?" Neptune shocked with his hands up to his head level now.
"How could you just turn her down like that?" Jaune asked mad and opened his arms wide.
"Wait, h-who?" Neptune confused of where this conversation is even going.
"Weiss!" Jaune revealed causing Neptune to realize what this guy is getting at and starts to look a bit nervous.
"I, uh... it, uh... it just didn't work out, you know?" Neptune proclaimed.
"What? You think that you're too cool, too many other options? Weiss Schnee asked you to the dance. What in the world could possibly keep you from go—"
"I can't dance!" Neptune confessed, cutting off Jaune's little lecturing speech.
"Beg your pardon?" Jaune surprised as he wants to hear that again.
"I can't dance, man!" Neptune repeated as he tries to look away some more.
"But... you're so cool!" Jaune shocked to hear that one of the coolest guys he met is afraid of going on the dancefloor because he just can't dance.
"Thank you. I try really, really hard." Neptune nodded.
"You would rather break a girl's heart and go to a dance alone than just admit to everyone that you can't move in rhythm to music?" Jaune asked.
"That about sums it up, yeah." Neptune answered with a nod.
Jaune couldn't believe this sort of thing is happening during a special event that is met to help everyone relief from their stress of training and Hunters' work, in hopes to bring out the best in the people though it looks like there are some people not being truly honest with themselves like Neptune.
"Dude, dude…" Jaune turned around facing the edge of the balcony.
"Do you have any idea of how fuck up that is? You refusing a girl just because you can't dance!" Jaune pointed out a little harshly.
"Please don't tell anybody. And yeah, it maybe fuck up but I don't want to ruin this night for Weiss too. She deserves someone who can at least dance her way." Neptune stated.
Jaune can tell that goggle wearing blue hair guy was being honest just now as he didn't turn Weiss down because of being scared to mess up on the dancefloor, but he also didn't want to make it a bad night for Weiss since she helped made all this possible.
"Do you like her?" Jaune asked, turning around to face Neptune again.
"Yeah, I mean I don't know her too well yet, but she seems pretty cool." Neptune answered honestly.
"Then just go talk to her. No pickup lines, no suave moves, just be yourself. I've heard that's the way to go." Jaune advised as he crossed his arms.
"Yeah, but then—" Neptune was about to object the idea, but Jaune wouldn't let him have the chance to do so.
"Hey! You don't have to look cool all the time. In all honesty, if you could be a little less cool, I'd really appreciate it." Jaune advised some more.
Neptune took a moment to think about what Jaune said and starting to believe there are some truth to those words, maybe he didn't need to be cool just to like a girl and Weiss did look cute when she asked him out for the dance.
"Yeah, okay." Neptune decided to go for it.
"Go talk to her. I guarantee it'll make her night." Jaune believed.
"Thanks. You're a really cool guy, Jaune." Neptune complimented holding up his fist to the Arc man.
"Alright, don't lie to my face." Jaune smiled and fist bump with Neptune.
"(Looks like that's a mission accomplished for me.)" Jaune thought smiled.
(Inside the Ballroom)
Ruby and Yang are seen together watching how everyone are enjoying the night of the night together with the blonde feeling very proud of this work she and Weiss did.
"You know? I think we really needed this." Yang believed.
Blake and Sun are doing a little slow dance with Ren and Nora doing some Waltzing with some laughing moments, even Penny is having fun as she does the robot between two Atlas guards.
"Yeah, and you did a great job planning it too!" Ruby nodded.
"Aw, thanks!" Yang reached over and pulled Ruby in for a crushing one arm hug making the red girl struggle to break free.
"It wasn't all me, though. Weiss did a lot too." Yang stated.
Ruby and Yang look down seeing Weiss still alone at the dance until Neptune walks up to her seems to offer to have a talk with her, Weiss nods and allow him to sit next to her.
"Tomorrow it's back to work." Yang sighed.
"I'm sure we can handle whatever gets thrown at us." Ruby believed with a confident smile.
Back down to the dance, Jaune walks up to his team as Rushuna and Pyrrha each kiss him on the cheek.
"So, was there any trouble with Neptune?" Rushuna asked.
"No, I say everything went great." Jaune smiled.
"That's great to hear, now shall we continue with our dance?" Pyrrha wrapped his arm around her body.
"Actually, I was thinking of doing a team dancing sync." Jaune smirked as he just heard the music playing and gesture Nora and Ren to come with them.
"Ren. This... is... happening!" Nora excited throwing her arms in the air.
"Wait, what is happening?" Ren asked, confuse and unknowingly looking at the 4th Wall.

All five of team JNPRR started dancing together in perfect sync that everyone started watching them go and cheers for the team, it's like they have been practicing those moves together even though they're just enjoying the music and knowing how good their teamwork is.
Meanwhile, Neptune just finished confessing to Weiss about the real reason why he couldn't go to the dance with her.
"So, what made you change your mind?" Weiss asked though Neptune didn't understand the question.
"You said you were embarrassed at first. What made you come talk to me?" Weiss rephrased the question.
"You're looking at him." Neptune looked toward Jaune which Weiss does the same.
"You got some good friends looking out for ya." Neptune complimented as Weiss smiles, really glad to have friends like him and Rushuna around.
"Come on, now I feel like dancing!" Ruby excited as she hurries downstairs as Yang laughs.
"Setsuna, come and join us!" Rushuna called out to Setsuna who is at the second floor as she giggles.
However, not everyone was getting onto the dancefloor to have a good time as Emerald and Mercury are keeping their distance from Setsuna and watching the ballroom.
"It appears all the dancers have partners." Emerald informed Cinder with an ear-comm.
"How long do I have?" Cinder asked.
"You should probably be home by midnight, to be safe." Mercury advised.
(With Cinder)
"I'll keep my eye on the clock." Cinder said.
Cinder is now wearing a completely different outfit for the sole purpose of her infiltration mission which is a sleeveless jacket, long gloves, stiletto heel boots, a black glass mask and several straps with containers of powdered Dust lined across her pants.
(Music End)
Just then, Ruby came out onto the balcony looking a little bit tired from the dancing as she needed a breather to cool herself, but she saw a figure running along the rooftop of the buildings.
"(Something tells me there wasn't supposed to be anyone out there tonight.)" Ruby thought felt her instincts kicking in.
Going with her instincts to follow the figure to see what is going on.
(Cross Continental Transmit System Tower)
Cinder makes her way to the CCT in order to install the next part of the evil plan as expected, there are Atlas soldiers stationed to guard the tower though she didn't care because she is prepared for this.
"Excuse me, no one's allowed in this area." One Atlas guard said.
But Cinder didn't listen and charges at the soldier.
The Atlas soldier tries to shoot her down just enough to make her unable to move for a while though his shoots aren't hitting the mark, Cinder took him down with ease alerting the other soldiers as they jump in to stop the intruder. But they all suffer the same defeat as Cinder took one down with hand-to-hand and the other with blades made of fist Dust.
Cinder quickly hides their unconscious bodies into some bushes and waited for the elevator to arrive to take her up to the floor.
"Hey, man, do you know the Wi-Fi password?" One Atlas guard asked his fellow guard.
"It's Beacon, but replace the E with a 3 and add a pound symbol to the end." The other Atlas guard answered.
But when the elevator door open, Cinder is there greeting them with an evil grin.
Cinder just casually walks into the elevator which only took three seconds for the Atlas guards to realize this woman is an intruder, the elevator door closes with only the sounds of thrashing from the inside.
Outside of the tower, Ruby just arrived at the scene and spotted an unconscious causing her to gasp that something is going on over here.
Ruby took out her Scroll to call over her rocket locker until she suddenly felt a touch on her shoulder and jump in shock.
"Ruby, what are you doing out here?" Setsuna asked as she has been following Ruby since she left the ballroom.
"There's someone sneaking around the school and just entered the CCT tower, I have a feeling that it could be something bad." Ruby explained just when her locker arrived with her Crescent Rose.
Setsuna spotted the unconscious Atlas guard and notice the other guards aren't around either.
"(Whoever did this must've hidden the bodies well to not arose any suspicious.)" Setsuna thought figured.
"Alright, I'm coming with you." Setsuna nodded and pulled out her gun from between her breasts.
"Do you always carry your gun in there?" Ruby asked shock.
"Always good to be prepare." Setsuna smiled before they hurry into the tower.
(With Cinder)
Cinder just arrived at the control consoles room as she is looking at a Scroll she took from one of the Atlas guards she knocked down, decided to keep it for now and walk over to a nearby control console and install her Scroll into the server.
"A party guest is leaving." Emerald informed.
"Which one?" Cinder asked sighing.
"Ironwood." Emerald answered.
"I guess the general's had enough fun for one night. Should we intervene?" Mercury asked.
Cinder notice the hologram screen showing up and a black Queen chess piece icon appeared that made the sneaky fire woman to smile.
"No, we're done here." Cinder informed as this part of the plan is complete and ready to head out.
But then Cinder saw the elevator sign light up and she quickly turn off the hologram screen and hide behind a counter, just in time when Setsuna and Ruby came out with their weapons ready.
"Hello? Is anyone there? Hello?" Ruby asked and stumbled from her high heels.
"Yeah, those shoes are NOT working for you." Setsuna commented, then fired a bullet that flew around for a few seconds until it found Cinder forcing her to jump out.
"Alright, you obviously came here for something important for probably bad things. I'm only going to say this once for you to put your hands in the air and don't move." Setsuna glared at the masked woman.
"I'd do what she says if I were you, she never miss her shots." Ruby smirked.
Cinder smiles evilly thinking about proving her wrong as she moves causing the bullet to fly at her, but she caught the bullet and melt it in her hand.
This shocked Setsuna and quickly fired two more as Ruby does the same, but Cinder caught them and melted them into little puddles then fire three arrows in front of them as they glow.
"MOVE!" Setsuna tackled Ruby away as the arrows exploded.
Setsuna and Ruby got up only to see the mysterious intruder is gone using the explosion as a cover to escape the tower as the former curses this.

The dance went off great for everyone with all the dancing and the music playing, but Cinder decided to make the dance to her own advantage to sneak into the tower and even managed to escape Setsuna and Ruby when they almost caught her.
