Amethyst woke the next morning thinking about what Harry told them. There was a lot to her family she didn't know. She checked on her owl before sitting at the desk. She pulled out some parchment and penned a quick note to Dimitri. She sealed the envelope and headed to the school's owlry.
"Amethyst!" Draco quietly called out when he spotted her. She smiled and waited for him to catch up. He kissed her and they headed to the owlry. "Sending a letter to Dimitri?"
"Yes. Just to say that I want to talk to him and to meet me at the Three Broomsticks this Saturday if he can." She replied. She chose one of the school's barn owls and it flew out of the window. "It's certainly not something to discuss in a letter."
"Understandable. If you want, I can be right by your side." Draco kissed the top of her head and they made their way to the Great Hall for breakfast. He knew she was still dealing with everything in her own way.
"Thank you. I want you there, but I'm not sure how willing he will be to talk with you around." They could feel eyes watching them as they headed to the head table hand-in-hand.
"Scorpius, you know about that?" Albus nudged his friend and nodded in the direction of Draco and Amethyst.
"Yeah, Dad talked to me yesterday about it." Scorpius smiled. "It's good to seem him happy again." Albus squeezed his friend's shoulder. "Hey, Dad!" Scorpius called as Draco approached their table.
"I'm heading to Diagon Alley regarding something we discussed yesterday. Do you need anything?" Draco asked. "I should be back before supper, maybe earlier depending on how long it will take."
"I can't think of anything. I have clothes for Halloween already." Scorpius figured his dad was referring to the issue with Amethyst's wand.
"Okay." Draco turned to leave, but then remembered something. "There may be an announcement coming about another thing we discussed. Not sure when though. Do not mention anything about anything to your grandmother."
"You know I won't." Scorpius reassured his dad. "Every few letters she sends, I just reply that I'm busy preparing for exams. We should get to class, but we'll see you later." He and Albus headed to class as Draco headed to Hogsmeade to disapparate.
