It was just after 10 P.M. on the night of Sunday, March 1st, 2020, August 31st 2016 and James had gone up to Lily's room.
On this night, James and Lily would be doing a candy review of Skittles Orchards on Lily Luna's World.
"Good evening and welcome back to Lily Luna's World!" said Lily with her kind smile, "Tonight I'm once again joined by my favorite brother James as we do a candy review of Skittles Orchards!"
Next nanosecond, Lily opened the pack of Skittles Orchards that was sitting on her bed and dumped the contents onto the bed.
"Classic Skittles smell!" chorused James and Lily.
"Let's try peach first!" said Lily eagerly.
James and Lily each grabbed three peach skittles off the bed. Popping the peach Skittles into their mouths, James and Lily both smiled as they tasted the peach flavor.
"Sweet, unique and original!" grinned James, "I really enjoyed the peach flavor. 10 out of 10. A job well done, Skittles!"
"Have to agree, James!" beamed Lily, "You don't find peach in many candies. It's a fantastic change of pace. Very pleasant and soothing flavor. 10 out of 10 from me too!"
"Let's do cherry next, " said James, "And get it out of the way ."
James and Lily each picked up three cherry Skittles and ate them.
"No dice!" said Lily, "Not a huge cherry fan but at least it's better than cherry Starburst. It's tolerable. 4 out of 10.
"Cherry is a hit or miss flavor for me, " said James matter of factly, "This one's pretty good to me. The standard cherry we get with orchards is far superior to the black cherry we got in our darkside pack. 8 out of 10."
"You've always been bigger on cherry than me, " said Lily fairly, "But let's try red apple!"
James and Lily retrieved three red apple Skittles each off the bed and consumed them.
"WOW!" said a stunned sounding James, "As much as we hate green apple, I'm stunned that I actually love this red apple flavor!"
"I love it too!" said Lily glowingly, "And I'm that surprised by that. Remember that green apple is a sour flavor whereas red apple us a sweet flavor. Green apple and red apple are actually quite different flavors despite both ending with the word apple."
"That makes sense, " said James crisply, "We both hate sour but since red apple is a sweet flavor it's a different experience entirely. 10 out of 10 in this corner!"
"And this one!" agreed Lily, "As we've previously reviewed orange and lime from other skews of Skittles on this channel, you all know that those are both 10s for both of us."
James and Lily took the time to enjoy the orange and lime flavors and Lily said, "Holistically Skittles are an 8 out of 10 for me. I do have to deduct a bit for the cherry but I highly recommend Skittles Orchards overall."
"9 out of 10 for me " added James, "Skittles Orchards threw a game winning touchdown pass with the execution of these flavors!"
