It was 2 P.M. on Saturday, October 16th, 2021, and James and Lily were up in Lily's room at Hogwarts making a video.
"So," said Lily warmly, "Good afternoon and welcome back to Lily Luna's World. Today my favorite brother James Sirius Potter and I are going to be reviewing original Oreo cookies."
"Neither Lily nor I are big cookie consumers," acknowledged James, "Both of us much prefer candy over cookies. But Lily thought it was worth giving Oreos a try and I'm on board with her about giving Oreos a chance."
Next nanosecond, Lily retrieved four Oreos from her left hand pocket with her left hand. She handed two of the Oreos to James while keeping two for herself.
"Well, " said Lily cheerfully, "Let's get ourselves right to it."
James and Lily both took a bite of their first Oreos and smiled. Viewers could also see James and Lily giving each other thumbs up.
They seemed happy, but not too excited.
"You liked it too?" Lily asked James kindly.
"I did, " said James brightly.
"That Oreo cream in the center is soooo good!" cooed Lily.
"I'm not normally a big cream guy, but I have to agree. The Oreo cream was delicious. The chocolate biscuits were good too, " smiled James.
"It's the combination that's the key, " said Lily matter of factly, "The cream and the biscuit just complement each other well."
"I think we should tell our viewers, " explained James, "That there are different skews or Oreos out there. What we just tried is the classic original kind."
"I'd go with an 8 out of 10, " said Lily fairly, "I liked the Oreo taste. But gotta keep it real here, I'd still rather go for a bag of Skittles or a candy bar."
"I agree, " said James clearly, "Oreos are good, but I too prefer Skittles and candy bars. I'll go 7 out of 10 here."
"Props to Oreo for making a quality product, but I'm not in a hurry to do any more cookie reviews, " said Lily honestly.
"It was worth giving the Oreos a try, " said James crisply, "And we do like them. At the end of the day, we just aren't cookie people, at least relative to other options we have. But, yeah, don't expect regular cookie reviews from us."
"Along those lines, " said Lily seriously, "My view is that we should recommend Oreos to cookie fans. To people who aren't big cookie people. they may still like Oreos, but there's no particaur reason for non-cookie people to rush out and get them."
"I suspect most cookie fans know all about Oreos already, " said James wisely.
"True, " said Lily simply, "Well, that's all for now. We'll see you next time on Lily Luna's World. For now, Potters out."
