As it turned out, James and Lily would record their Prisoner of Azkaban review the very next Saturday, Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, at 10 A.M. Hogwarts time.

"Welcome back to Lily Luna's World, " said an unusually eagerly sounding Lily while James was practically jumping up and down beside her bed, "Let's get to it. Many of you have been eagerly awaiting our review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban so let's get to it. James, the floor is yours first!"

"Prisoner of Azkaban is the best Harry Potter book!' said James glowingly and confidently, "The past-present fusion in the Shrieking Shack is just flat out awesome baby! "

"I completely agree!" said Lily radiantly, "To see dad, his best friends, and his dad's best friends all there together. Brillant!"

"I loved the backstory of the Marauders, " piped up James fondly, "It was so cool to learn why dad, Sirius, and the filthy double crosser became animagi and how they came to right the Marauder's Map."

"I agree, " smiled Lily, "I also really appreciate why they did it too. While the filthy double crosser showed his true colors later, it cannot be denied that dad and Sirius were both fantastic friends to Remus."

"Becoming an Animagus is extremely difficult, dangerous, and wearisome, " added James respectfully, "To become an Animagus, not because one wants to, but to help out a friend, is a ten out ten on the Friendship Scale."

"Sirius and Remus are both characters who become fan favorites who are introduced in this book, " cooed Lily, "

"Remus was a breath of fresh air after Gilderoy Lockhart, " declared James. "Remus was actually the anthesis of Lockhart. Lockhart was boastful and full of himself while possessing less actual magical skill than Gregory Goyle. Remus on the other hand, was skilled but humble. He could teach his class about things like Boggarts in practical way that allowed his students to learn and flourish. He could produce a Patronus and even taught thirteen year old Harry how to do so. But he didn't boast, he wasn't cocky, he never tutted his own horn."

"All true, " said Lily cheerfully, "Remus is a highly competent teacher, but what about Sirius? What do you think about what motivated Sirius to escape from Azkaban?

"it's really incredible sometimes what simple things can set into motion," offered James thoughtfully, "To think, a simple picture in the Daily Prophet motivated Sirius to escape from Azkaban and set the rest of the series into motion. I think it shows how much passion Sirius had, both in general and for protecting Harry. Sirius WAS a bit mad, but in a good way. Sirius himself said that a fire had been lit in him. That's about what his actions and attitudes portray. I get goosebumps when we learn Sirius is innocent and is Harry's godfather."

"So do I, " piped up Lily warmly, " Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a wonderful uncovering the truth story, "First time readers would never guess that Scabbers turned out to be the filthy double crosser. But I think we need address some other aspects of the book. What do you think of Hagrid becoming a teacher?

"Look, " said James patiently. "It's not Hagrid's fault what happened between Draco and Buckbeak. Hagrid did warn the class not to insult hippogriffs and it's Draco's own fault he called Buckbeak that offensive U word."

"It was complete and utter justice that Buckbeak escaped in the end," cried Lily fiercely.

"However, " admitted James, "I do agree with the school governors that Hagrid started too big. That's not to say he had to go as boring as flobberworms. I think fwoopers or billywigs would've made an excellent first lesson."

"I agree with that, " said Lily, "But hippogriffs are only dangerous if you provoke them. So, what did you think of the Quidditch season."?

"Dad hasn't really had a lot of happy moments in his life. To see him beat Slytherin and finally capture that elusive Quidditch Cup is one of my favorite moments in the entire series because it's a rare example of dad getting to enjoy a truly happy moment and triumph, " replied James briskly. "Oddly, I actually liked that dad lost his first match of that season. I liked that it made earning the Quidditch Cup more of a challenge which in turn made the end triumph feel even more triumphant because of what the team had to overcome to get there."

"That also includes dad having to be careful not to catch the Golden Snitch too soon in the final match, " added Lily softly. "I also have to give a nod of respect to dad's teammates for how they handled him losing that first match. Fred and George told dad not to beat himself up and reminded him the season wasn't over. Alicia clearly cared more about Harry's well-being then the match they had just lost. Wood, on the other hand, was insane. I can't imagine anyone else, in dad's time, in our time, in any time, trying to drown himself or herself in the showers over losing a Quidditch match."

"Speaking of Quidditch, " transitioned James, "Harry won the Quidditch matches against Ravenclaw and Slytherin on his Firebolt. What is your opinion on dad's falling out with Hermione over the Firebolt?"

"Hermione did the right thing, " answered Lily a nanosecond later, "Anonymous gifts. especially highly desirable and/or expensive ones. Remember too that Quirrell had tried to curse dad's broom in first year and just about two months before the Firebolt arrived dad had fallen fifty feet from an airborne broomstick. Caution was the way to go here. Remember in Sorcerer's Stone when dad said, "Don't you think it's a bit odd that Hagrid really wants is a dragon and a stranger turns up who just happens to have one? It's actually really weird that dad had no so such suspicion here."

"Dad was too taken in by the Firebolt's arrival to think in rational terms like that, " observed James, "That's exactly why Hermione did the right thing to intervene and make sure the Firebolt got checked out before dad rode it. Better safe than sorry."

"Some of the fandom actually criticizes Hermione for this, although it's clear that she did the right thing to be look after dad, " said Lily, shaking her head, "It was obvious to me that dad was too taken in by the Firebolt and Hermione needed to intervene to ensure his safety. And dad couldn't see that until he got the broom back. It's one of the few times in the series I'm genuinely disappointed in dad's character."

"Ron was the worst in this book though, " interjected James, "Shame, shame, shame, on Ron for how he treated Hermione in this book. It is complete uncalled for and indefensible to shake bedsheets in someone's face and yell at them and humiliate them in such a public setting as the Gryffindor Common Room. It's just as bad to freeze someone out the way Ron froze Hermione out of the food party in the Gryffindor Common Room after their Quidditch win over Ravenclaw. It's worse than either that Ron wouldn't even listen to Hagrid when Hagrid gave Ron the correct perspective that Ron should value his friend more than rats."

"That was one of Hagrid's best moments, " nodded Lily approvingly, "Sometimes you've got to be blunt like that."

"Let's us be blunt about it, " cried James, "FRIENDS SDHOULD ALWAYS BE VALUED ABOVE PETS! NO EXCPETIONS!"

"FRIENDS SHOULD ALWAYS BE VALUED ABOVE PETS! NO EXCPETIONS!" repeated Lily, nodding her head fiercely, "Ron should have cared MUCH more about Hermione than about Scabbers. Plain and simple. "

Both James and Lily needed to take a minute and a nanosecond. People who committed the sin of caring more about pets than about friends were a major pet peeve of both James and Lily.

"We can't cover everything, " piped up Lily, "But we can't discuss Prisoner of Azkaban without mentioning the Dementors."

James shuddered.

"I don't blame you James, " said Lily quietly, "I know from a literary point of view that the Dementors are supposed to represent depression. But, in universe, they're far scarier and creepier than they are depressing."

James, now shivering, squeaked, "It's, it gives me the chills to think of the Dementor's at all. But the Dementor's Kiss? I can't process the idea of existing without your soul."

"What makes Dementors even creepier and more dangerous, " squealed Lily, now shivering herself, "Is that: It is not in the nature of a Dementor to be forgiving. They will not distinguish between the one they hunt and the one that stands in their way. "

Lily realized they needed to get off of the subject of Dementors and changed the subject by saying, "But, you know, happiness can be found even in the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light."

James smiled and said, "This was the book that introduced the Knight Bus. The Knight Bus sounds fun in theory but isn't too fun to ride reality."

"There isn't too much to say about that, " said Lily matter of factly, "Bumpy ride indeed. Before we give our ratings, I do think we should acknowledge that the ending where Sirius gave dad permission to go into Hogsmeade legally in future years gave both of us goosebumps."

"That was the moment when the reality of Sirius being dad's godfather fully sank in on me, " said James clearly."

"And for dad himself in the story, " remembered Lily, "That'll be good enough for Dumbledore. "

"Now, " supplied James, "One last thing we should acknowledge is that the Time Turner played a major role in this book. Neither Lily nor I wish to discuss the concept of time travel at this time and why will become clear later. But it would look odd if we did a Prisoner of Azkaban review without even mentioning the Time Turner."

"Final rating?" called Lily proddingly.

"TEN OUT OF TEN!" chorused James and Lily in unison and they waved at their viewers as they ended the video just like that.
