A/N: Hello my wonderful followers, readers, Supernatural and Shadowhunters/mortal instruments fans! A comment on AO3 made me think that I need to clear somethings up. I hope I can clear things up without causing more confusion. lol. Sam and Dean's reality Was separate from the mortal instruments reality, but they were coexisting side-by-side. Sam and Dean was on the trail of witches. The witches not knowing what the hell they were doing with the magic that they were wielding did a spell of a reality merge but they thought that only Sam and Dean would be thrust into it. No. What happened is that they cast the wrong spell. The realities ripped and then merged into one reality. All the monsters from supernatural is now in the mortal instruments, because the realities merged into one reality. Now, supernatural does have a Lucifer, hell, they even have angels. And they're not much different, really. I was going to explain this in a later chapter but I'll go ahead and explain it. Two Lucifers can't coexist In the same reality so they merged into one as well. I hope this clears up some confusion. Please enjoy!
Carry on wayward supernatural fans, and happy patrol shadowhunters.
Magnus paced back and forth in his library, his long strides devouring the distance between the shelves with agitated energy. Someone had dared to steal from him, to pilfer one of his precious books. The audacity!
As he stalked past the rows of ancient tomes, his fingers trailed over the spines, as if searching for a hidden clue. His mind raced with possibilities, his thoughts a jumble of anger and calculation. Who could have done such a thing? And how to track them down?
He had thought of seeking out Agustin Desmond, the first and only Warlock to be turned into a vampire. Agustin's unique abilities might have come in handy, but Magnus hadn't heard back from him. Where was Agustin when he needed him?
A knock at the door interrupted his furious pacing. He glared at the intrusion, his gaze flashing with irritation, but his expression softened ever so slightly as he saw Alec Lightwood standing in the doorway. The young Shadowhunter's eyes were filled with concern, his brow furrowed with worry.
"Magnus, is everything all right?" Alec asked, his voice low and gentle. "You look like you've lost your last marble."
Magnus's lips compressed into a thin line, his jaw clenched in frustration. "Someone has stolen one of my books," he growled, his deep voice low and menacing.
Alec's gaze roaming over the shelves as if searching for a hidden treasure. "I know. Tell me, Magnus, what makes this book so special?"
Magnus's eyes narrowed, his mind weighing options. He hesitated for a moment before gesturing for Alec to enter, his long fingers beckoning him into his lair. "It's an ancient tome, containing secrets of dark magic. And I suspect the thief is trying to use its power for their own gain."
Alec's face set in determination, his eyes flashing with resolve. "Well, in that case, I'm in. What can I do to help, Magnus?"
Magnus's expression softened, his heart filled with gratitude. "Ah, i need someone to help me track down the thief."
Alec nodded, his face set in determination. "I'm on it, Magnus. We'll find your book, and we'll make sure the thief pays for their audacity."
Magnus held up a finger. "About that,"
"Yeah?"
Magnus stood in front of Alec, feeling the weight of his decision like a heavy burden on his shoulders. He took a deep breath, trying to find the right words to explain his plan to Alec. This wasn't going to be easy, but he knew he had to be honest with him.
"There's something I need to tell you," Magnus began, his voice steady but tinged with a hint of apprehension. "I've been trying to find a way to retrieve the stolen book, and I've come to a decision that I know may be difficult for you to accept."
Alec looked at him, concern and curiosity shining in his eyes. "What decision, Magnus? What's going on?"
Magnus took Alec's hands in his, needing the reassurance of his touch before revealing the truth. "I'm going to seek help from an ex-lover of mine. Someone who has knowledge and resources that could be crucial in recovering the book."
Alec's expression shifted, a mix of surprise and unease crossing his features. "An ex-lover? Magnus, are you sure about this? I don't want you to put yourself in a risky situation."
Magnus nodded, understanding Alec's concern but also knowing that he had to do whatever it took to right this wrong. "I know it's not ideal, but I believe this is our best chance. I promise you, Alec, I will handle this with caution and care. You have my word."
Alec searched Magnus's eyes, his worry evident, but he also knew that Magnus was determined to see this through. "Okay, Magnus. I trust you. Just... be careful, please."
Magnus squeezed Alec's hands, a surge of gratitude flooding his heart. "I will, Alexander. Thank you for understanding."
With a deep breath, Alec reached out and gently held Magnus's hands, his eyes reflecting a mix of worry and determination.
"Magnus, I understand why you feel the need to do this, but I can't stand the thought of you facing this alone," Alec said, his voice filled with sincerity. "I want to help you. We're a team, and I'll do whatever it takes to support you."
He was touched by Alec's offer, his heart swelling with gratitude for the unwavering support Alec always seemed to provide. "I appreciate your willingness to help, but I can't ask you to involve yourself in a situation that could potentially be dangerous. I need you safe, here with me."
Alec met Magnus's gaze, his determination unwavering. "Magnus, I'm not going to let you face this alone. We'll do this together, and I'll make sure we both come out of it unscathed. I trust you, and I know we can handle whatever comes our way."
Magnus felt a surge of warmth and love for Alec, realizing once again how fortunate he was to have someone who cared for him so deeply. With a soft smile, he nodded, knowing that with Alec by his side, they could face anything.
"Thank you, Alexander. Your strength and unwavering support mean more to me than you'll ever know," Magnus said, squeezing Alec's hands. "We'll face this challenge together, and I'll make sure to keep you safe every step of the way."
As Alec's lips touched Magnus's, a spark of electricity ran through his entire being. It was as if the very fabric of reality had shifted, and the world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the sensation of each other's lips. Magnus's heart skipped a beat as he felt the gentle pressure of Alec's mouth, the soft caress of his lips, and the sweet, sweet taste of his kiss.
It was like a symphony of sensations, a harmony of emotions, a crescendo of passion. Magnus's mind reeled, his thoughts scattering like leaves in the wind as he succumbed to the pure, unadulterated joy of being kissed by the one he loved. The world around them faded to black, and all that remained was the gentle, insistent pressure of Alec's lips, the soft whisper of his breath, and the pounding of Magnus's own heart, beating in time with Alec's.
For a moment, Magnus forgot about the weight of his years, the burden of his secrets, and the loneliness of his immortal existence. All that mattered was the warmth of Alec's embrace, the love in his eyes, and the gentle, sweet kiss that left him breathless and wanting more.
"Maggie, please tell me have -" Andra said, walking in and stopping as Alec stepped back from Magnus. She smirked. "Oh, did I just walk in on something?"
"What is it? Andra?" Alec asked, his voice a little husky.
"You just go on and change the subject. Anyway. Any news on the reality merge?"
"Ah. right." Magnus had almost nearly forgot. "I've looked into it." Both Alec and Andra gestured for him to continue. "Andra, my dear, I have some news to share with you. News that will change everything."
Her eyes narrowed, her gaze piercing. "What is it, Magnus?"
Magnus took a deep breath, his voice measured. "The realities, Andra. Our reality, and the one Sam and Dean came from... they're now one."
Her face fell, her eyes widening in horror. "No, oh fuck shit. No, no, no. You can't be serious."
"I'm afraid I am. The fabric of reality has been altered. The boundaries between our worlds have been torn asunder, and now... now we exist in a single reality. And everyone and everything is now in one."
Andra's voice was laced with venom. "And what does this mean, exactly? That I'll have to deal with that insufferable Dean Winchester now?"
Alec, standing beside Magnus, spoke up, his voice firm. "Andra, we'll face this together. We'll find a way to make it work."
His sister's gaze snapped to Alec, her eyes flashing with anger. "You think I'm worried about 'making it work', Alec? I'm worried about having to put up with Dean's arrogance and ignorance."
"I know this isn't easy." Magnus said, his voice gentle. "But we'll find a way to navigate this new reality together. We'll find a way to make it work, for all of us."
Her face twisted in disgust. "I doubt that, Magnus. I highly doubt that."
"Andra, dear, come with us," Magnus said, his voice measured. "We're going to see Agustin. Take your mind off the reality merge."
Andra's face scrunched up in confusion. "Agustin? Who's that?"
"Only Magnus's ex-lover." Alec said, his voice with slight jealousy.
Her eyes narrowed, her gaze fixed on Magnus. "Ex-lover? You mean you two were... together?"
"Andra, dear, it's complicated."
"Complicated?" Her voice was laced with sarcasm. "That's one way to put it, I suppose. How thrilling."
Magnus chuckled. "Oh, come on, Andra! It'll be fun, I promise! And who knows, you might even learn a thing or two from Agustin's... extensive experience."
Andra's face twisted in disgust. "Extensive experience? You mean he's old? Like, really old?" She rolled her eyes. "Oh, joy. Can't wait to meet the infamous Agustin Desmond. I'm sure it'll be a thrilling experience, meeting the ex-lover of my brothers boyfriend, the High Warlock of Brooklyn. But I got nothing else to do."
