Welcome back to Ashes of Midnight. Last time, Iron Man gave a proposal that is blew the minds of everybody else in the room. If the team can get a hold of the Gamma Accelerator, they may be able to destroy the Parchment of Power and end this prophecy before it can even really begin. Magik offered a way to get back to Bruce Banner's facility, but her power over Limbo is blocked from it by a demonic energy barrier, one that is curiously only in Malefor's colors, not a combination of his and Lilith's. Curious enough that Cynder has noticed and noted it. But then she got an idea towards getting there that has to do with Ghost Rider somehow. So, what's she planning? Read on to discover...

(Our scene picks up at the Mirror Table, where Cynder, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Ghost Rider, Wolverine, and Caretaker are gathered.)

Ghost Rider: (Having just heard Cynder's idea) So let me get this straight, you want me to call Johnny Blaze with the Spirit of Vengeance?

Iron Man: That's the gist of it.

Cynder: It made sense in the moment. You're both hosts to Spirits of Vengeance, it seems logical that they can contact each other.

Ghost Rider: This is a bananas idea.

Doctor Strange: (Holding up some sort of shackle) And right now, it's the only one we've got.

Ghost Rider: I honestly have no idea if this is going to work. Let alone if that shackle will do anything.

Doctor Strange: These Cuffs of Cyttorak should allow the Mirror Table to visualize the link between your Spirits of Vengeance. On loan from the demon residing in our Forge.

Cynder: Seriously, how much arcane stuff does Cyttorak produce? Gems, Crimson Bands, and now Cuffs? Were these specifically made to bind Juggernaut or something?

Wolverine: It could work.

Cynder: Note to self, call Professor X about that idea once this madness is wrapped up.

(Ghost Rider is clearly still hesitant)

Doctor Strange: (Trying to make a joke) I added an alloy to prevent chafing, if that helps.

(Ghost Rider just rolls his eyes at the attempt at a joke)

Caretaker: I know this is a huge risk, but literally every other attempt we've made has failed.

Cynder: We need Robbie Reyes as well as the Spirit of Vengeance if we're going to find Johnny Blaze and the page. You're our only hope.

Ghost Rider: (Standing up finally) If we've got nothing else that'll work, it's worth a shot.

(With that, Robbie Reyes walks up to the Mirror Table, and Doctor Strange slaps the Cuffs of Cyttorak onto his arm)

Ghost Rider: So now what? Do I just think of Joh...

(But before Ghost Rider can finish that sentence, the Spirit of Vengeance takes over, calling to Johnny Blaze)

Spirit of Vengeance: BLAZE!

Cynder: Good news, looks like the Spirits have connected.

Iron Man: You think?

Spirit of Vengeance: YOU CANNOT FLEE DESTINY! YOU CANNOT HIDE FROM ME!

(With that, the Spirit of Vengeance slams Ghost Rider's hand into the Mirror Table turning it into a reflection of the Quentin Carnival, if it were engulfed in lava with Johnny Blaze rising prominently from it, being chased by HYDRA trucks)

Cynder: Looks like he can't hide from anyone.

Spirit of Vengeance: WE MUST GO NOW, DRAGON. THE PARCHMENT OF POWER MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO FALL...

(Suddenly, the manifestation of Johnny Blaze interrupts them)

Johnny Blaze: I got this. Buzz off, Sparky.

(As the manifestation of Johnny Blaze pulls a wheelie on it's motorcycle, the connection cuts out, dissolving the Cuffs of Cyttorak while returning Ghost Rider to normal)

Ghost Rider: Got to admit, for as weird as that was, it was awesome.

Cynder: And it worked. Think you can get us to Blaze's location?

Ghost Rider: Pretty sure.

Cynder: Then let's go.

(And with that, Cynder, Ghost Rider, and Wolverine head out to find Johnny Blaze as our tale ends for today)

And that looks like a good place to wrap up for now. It looks like Cynder's plan was a success, as now they've got Johnny Blaze's location. Bad news though, HYDRA got his location first. Now it's a race against the clock to see who gets to Johnny Blaze and the Parchment of Power first. So, who's going to win? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
