This is the Finale of the Memorial Day Special. Last time, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Nico Minoru, Magik, and Cynder met up in The Forge with two more details of their plan worked out. First, a creature called a Barghest, which Doctor Strange plans to use to create a facsimile of demonic energy that can pierce the barrier around Bruce Banner's HYDRA facility, and Nico Minoru reveals she just might have found a way to restore those that Lilith and Malefor turned. Cynder is needless to say, game for this, whatever it takes. So, what is the result of their work? Read on to discover...

(Our scene picks up at The Forge, where Doctor Strange appears to be admiring his work on a new suit designed around Cynder)

Doctor Strange: Just as I'd hoped. The dark energy of the Barghest is exactly what we need to pierce Banner's energy barrier.

Cynder: I take it that's what all this is?

Doctor Strange: Exactly, Cynder. This suit is tailor made for you and only you, and should allow you to walk among the Lilin without any problems, assuming it fits of course. I call it, the Demonchylde suit.

(And now we see the suit itself in action, a rather organic looking suit, the dark color of which perfectly blends in to Cynder's existing scale tone, designed to look like one of Lilith and Malefor's demons)

Cynder: It certainly looks the bill.

Iron Man; I was hearing a lot more "I"s than I was expecting, Doc. This is kind of a "we" thing.

Doctor Strange: Yes, Tony did provide some assistance, mostly in brainstorming the name.

Iron Man: Hey, I'm not the one who's apparently used to having their combat suits try to eat them while being calibrated!

Cynder: It'll work, guys. (Gets a whiff of the air) Heck, it even smells the part.

Doctor Strange: Yes, you should probably make use of this suit while the components are still... fresh. It should maximize protections against the barrier.

Cynder: I don't even want to know. But whatever, let's get on with this. Nico and Magik are waiting upstairs to brief us on their plan to restore the others.

(With that, Cynder heads up and out, where Nico Minoru, Magik, Caretaker, and even the Hunter's demon hound Charlie are waiting for her, where she is soon joined by Iron Man and Doctor Strange)

Caretaker: I still can't believe I'm about to let you do this.

Cynder: If you didn't have faith in either me or the team you put together, you wouldn't be doing this Caretaker. (To Nico Minoru) You said there was a plan to restore Spyro and Wanda. What've you got?

Nico Minoru: Researching ancient mages, and some of The Hunter's predecessors, found that at least one could draw Lilin corruption out of a subject and into themselves. Hopefully with The Hunter empowering you, and that funky smelling suit, you'll have a chance to pull that off.

Cynder: Add to that my exposure to Malefor's darkness, I should be able to pull that from both of them as well. (Sighs) It's like I was made for this.

Caretaker: Are you sure you're ready for this?

Cynder: Ready as I'll ever be. (To Magik) Do your think Illyana.

(With that, Magik stabs open a Limbo Portal into Bruce Banner's facility, and struggles to keep it open)

Magik: I cannot hold this thing forever!

Cynder: One way trip, like you said.

Iron Man: Something is generating that barrier, take it out and we'll be able to get you home. I'm sure of it.

Cynder: Hopefully, it's not just me that's coming back.

(With one final push of confidence, Cynder charges headfirst into the Limbo Portal, just as Magik can't hold it open anymore, but not before Charlie can run through despite Caretaker's protests. And as the portal closes, our scene ends for today)

This concludes this year's Memorial Day Special. One big thank you to our military members past and present for their service before we wrap up. Next time, things finally get underway. Cynder is alone on this one for now, having to face down both Fallen Scarlet Witch and Fallen Spyro as well as destroy the demonic energy barrier keeping them from getting at the Gamma Accelerator.
