Danny enters his class, sighing. With Charlie and Emily in different classes, Danny had to deal with Dash and Mr. Lancer on his own. However, as he sat down, two more people appeared in front of him.

"Hey, there."

"Um, hey?" Danny said, seeing Tucker and Sam.

"Sorry to bother you, dude, but I was wondering if you could answer something for us?" Tucker asked.

"Depends on what you're asking," Danny said, raising an eyebrow.

"Right, I'm Tucker and this is Sam. We were wondering..."

"Why you're letting those two rich girls walk over you." Sam cut in.

"SAM!" Tucker shouted.

"Rich girls? You mean Charlie and Emily? They're not walking over me." Danny said, frowning.

"Sorry about that, but who did you get those two? Everyone tried to get on their good sides, but no one has even come close." Tucker said.

"Because they are paying him to do what they say," Sam said, making Tucker groan.

"First, Charlie and Emily are not paying me anything. They saved my life." Danny told them.

"They did?" Tucker asked, surprised.

"Yeah. Two years ago, I was in a pretty bad place. I had no friends and Dash and his goons would use me as a scapegoat all the time. Then I met Charlie and Emily, and they turned my life around." Danny said, smiling as he remembered what the girls did for him.

Charlie and Emily watched in surprise to see Danny eat so fast, almost choking once. Once he was done, he tried to cover his mouth as he burped.

"Excuse me." He said, knowing he needed to be polite in front of some girls.

"Wow! I never seen anyone eat that fast before." Charlie said, surprised.

"Well, my lunch was stolen. I'll find some way to pay you back." Danny said, feeling a bit scared.

"Easy, Daniel. We told you that it was on us. You don't have to pay us back." Emily said, patting his hand.

"Well, I was always told to pay back what I own," Danny said, looking down.

"Did your parents tell you that, or did that group tell you?" Charlie asked.

"Dash did," Danny said, looking down again.

Charlie and Emily frown. It was one thing for his parents to tell him to pay for what he owned but to have that mean boy say that, they knew that he would force Danny to pay more than what he owned.

"Well, you don't have to pay him anymore," Charlie said, patting his shoulder.

"Yeah. You're safe with us." Emily added, smiling.

Danny looks at the two, smiling a bit.

"Oh! Danny! We were thinking about taking care of some shopping. We can buy you some new clothes if you want." Charlie said, remembering one of their plans.

"I guess it won't hurt," Danny said, feeling a bit scared.

"You think we're going to give you a huge makeover and turn you into someone you're not, aren't you?" Emily asked, knowing what he was thinking.

"Um..." Danny said, back away a bit.

"Relaxed, we're not those kinds of girls. Just some new clothes and maybe some shampoo." Charlie said, trying to cheer him up.

"Let's take care of the bath first. And don't worry, we will give you privacy." Emily said.

Danny nods, still unsure about all this.

Later,

Danny exited the shower, putting on fresh clean clothes. Charlie and Emily took him back home, where they met his parents. Through surprise, Jack and Maddie welcomed the two girls and were glad that their son was alright. They mention taking him shopping for some new clothes and promise to have him returned as the same boy they knew.

After the three left, Danny was still looking down, still unsure of the whole thing. Charlie notices and guesses Dash did a lot more than they thought.

"Danny, this isn't a trick." She said, making him look up.

"Whatever that creep did to you, we are not like him," Emily added.

Danny looked away, making Charlie and Emily frown. It was worse than they thought.

"Danny, is there anything you want to do after we take care of some shopping?" Charlie asked him.

"I tried that. Dash and his friends would ignore me." Danny told her.

"Then stop thinking about them," Emily said, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Not everyone is like that moron. He has been trying to get our numbers for months." Charlie said, sighing.

"Yeah, he thinks because he's good at sports he'll win us over. HA! Like we care about that." Emily said.

"I was once offered to join the Cheerleader Squad, but I turned it down. But that doesn't mean I won't help if they need it. Really, their cheers need some work." Charlie said, shaking her head.

"Well, you are acrobatic. Everyone talks about how you put most cheerleaders to shame when you were dared to take part in the tryouts." Danny said, remembering that day.

"It comes from a long line of being in a circus family," Charlie said, shaking her head.

"You were in the circus?" Danny asked, surprised.

"My dad was. He started his own circus, called the Seven Rings of Hell. It wowed the crowd each time they came. Once he met my mom, he was thinking about settling down. As far as I know, he does keep in touch with the other performers, but we haven't seen them in a while." Charlie said.

"And what about you?" Danny asked, Emily.

"Just me and Sera. She's been raising me since I was young. And she still treats me as a kid." Emily sighs.

"What about your parents?" Danny asked, seeing her frown.

"I never knew my Mom. And my Dad disappeared." She said, sadly.

"Sorry," Danny said, feeling bad.

"It's okay," Emily said, patting his shoulder.

They decide to change the tune to something different as Charlie asks Danny what his dream was. Surprised, Danny told them about his dreams to travel to the stars when he's older. Surprised, Charlie and Emily asked him what got him into it and Danny went on and on about his dream.

Present day,

"After we did the shopping, we started to hang out more. I broke away from Dash and his group and stuck with Charlie and Emily since." Danny finished.

Tucker and Sam were surprised by the whole tale. Sam could hardly believe that they chose to help Danny because they wanted to. Tucker was shocked because two girls wanted to help him with no strings attached.

"And you just let them do whatever they want with you?" Sam asked.

"Charlie and Emily are not the type of girls that force others to do their bidding. They're both rich, but treat others like people. I've been to their places many times. Charlie doesn't even have butlers or maids!" Danny told them.

"And what about the other girl?" Sam asked.

"It's been Emily and Sera throughout their lives. No one else. However, Sera has been into her work a lot these days, so I don't even know if she knows that Emily is friends with me and Charlie." Danny said, thinking.

"So, they become your friends?" Tucker asked.

"It took a month for me to get used to doing everything without Dash and his goons getting in the way, but yeah. They became my best friends. Even after discovering that Charlie likes both genders." Danny said.

"Wait, you mean she's bisexual?" Tucker asked.

"Yep. She dating a girl right now. Her real is Vagatha, but she goes by Vaggie. And she's friends with my sister." Danny said.

"Is she rich too?" Sam asked, raising an eyebrow.

"From what Charlie tells us, nope," Danny said, shaking his head.

Sam looked really confused. Even though Charlie is rich, she not acting at all like a spoiled brat. That didn't sit right with her.

"Wow. Those are some friends." Tucker said, feeling like he understands them better.

"If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I owe them my life for that." Danny said, smiling.

Sam growls, refusing to believe everything she hears.

"And they are using you!" She said, making Danny look at her.

Tucker sighs before turning back to Danny.

"Sam here doesn't like rich girls because they're "Spoiled Rich Brats that use too much money"," Tucker said, sighing.

"Not Charlie and Emily. They are smart about their money, and Charlie is working a part-time job to save up for her hotel." Danny said, surprising them.

"What?!" Sam said, shocked.

"And Emily supports her. As do I." Danny said, smiling.

"What does she need a job?!" Sam asked.

"Because she wants to earn a Hotel the right way. She admits that it could take her a long time to do so, but she's not going to quit." Danny said, believing in Charlie.

Sam wanted to say something else, but Mr. Lancer stepped in, ready to start class. Tucker and Sam took their seats, Sam still refusing to believe that Charlie and Emily were not like rich girls. She knows they have him wrapped under their finger and she will free him. Tucker sighs, knowing that Sam believes in things her way. He has tried to reel her back, but she keeps telling him to mind his own business and storms off. And he could tell that Danny truly cared about the friendship he made with Charlie and Emily. Maybe they were wrong about them.

And that's it for this chapter. Tucker and Sam confront Danny about his friendship with Charlie and Emily and told them a bit about how they first acted when worked their way up to become good friends. As I said, I wanted to cover a bit more about the three lives together and decided to explain a bit more about their past. I also wanted to bring Jazz and Vaggie into this chapter but that may wait for another time. And yeah, even though Sam isn't friends with Danny, she refuses to believe that Charlie and Emily are normal people. So, this won't be going away any time soon.

Okay, I may start on having the three get their powers in the next chapter. Danny is still the same as Cannon. And Charlie is going to find an artifact that gives her powers. I heard of a few ideas for Emily, but I haven't decided on them yet. So, if there are any more ideas you all might have, please share them.

And one last thing after Charlie gets her powers, I will bring the rest of the Cast of Hazbin Hotel, only they are all in their sinner/demon forms.
