Danny sighs as he, Charlie, and Emily caught another ghost trying to cause trouble. The attacks had been going on for a while, and they were losing sleep because of it.
"Danny, would it be too much to ask your parents to shut down the portal for like, a month?" Charlie asked, feeling really tired.
"Oh maybe for the rest of the year?" Emily added, yawning.
"Trust me, I tried. Dad always forgets that the portal isn't a toy." Danny said, looking ready to sleep.
They decide to head to their homes, but Danny's ghost appears again. Making the three groan.
"OH COME ON!" They shouted.
The next morning,
Charlie groaned as she felt the sunlight hit her face. She would normally be up and ready but last night took all the sunshine she needed away from her. For once, she just wanted some darkness to take over.
"Morning my little apple." Her father said, entering her room.
"Augh..." Charlie said, shocking him.
"Charlie? Are you okay?" He asked, walking over to her.
"Ghosts...night...tired," Charlie grumbles.
Her father nodded, understanding what she was saying without noticing it.
"Very well. It is the weekend. Feel free to sleep in, honey." He said, kissing her forehead.
"Thank...dad..." Charlie said, passing back out.
Mr. Morningstar smiled before he felt his phone buzz. He pulled it out and was surprised to see the number. He quickly left Charlie's room and headed towards the basement. It was dark and damp, and its only light source was candles. He reached a pentagram before speaking in a demonic tongue. Soon, a beautiful woman appeared, having two long horns on her head, making him smile.
"Lilith! What a surprise. You still look as beautiful as ever." He said, purring.
"Lucifer. I see you're still on Earth." She said.
"It's what we agreed on. Still, thank you for watching over the kingdom." He said, bowing to her.
Lilith sighs. She really wished that things couldn't have been different. The only thing she didn't regret was leaving her first ex for him. It was kind of sad they fell apart after Charlie was born.
"How's Charlie? Bee told me a bit when she returned." She asked.
"Sleeping, right now. The Ghosts are becoming more bold since the Fentons made their portal." He said, sighing.
Lilith sighs. Wishing she could help, but she couldn't leave Hell until Lucifer decided to return.
"Lilith, I still think that we did this all wrong," Lucifer said, frowning.
"I know. But it was for Charlie." She said.
Both of them sighed. Before Lilith remembered why she called.
"I can't keep them in line any longer, Lucifer. They're going to come to Earth." She said, making him sigh.
"They're coming for the apple, aren't they?" He asked, making her nod.
"They're too late. Charlie has it." He said, surprising her.
"What?! But I thought..." Lilith started.
"She found it on her own. She's been using it along with her friends to stop the ghosts. I plan on visiting the Fentons later to discuss their portal." Lucifer said.
"Good. And I fear that Heaven won't be staying silent for long." She said.
He agreed. Charlie has yet to master her new powers. And if any of the Overlords or if the hellborns after his power come here, she would stand no chance.
"Lilith, we need to send someone that would help her." He said, knowing he couldn't do it.
"There is one I have in mind, but he's not trustworthy." She said.
"I know. But he remembers our deal, does he not?" Lucifer asked.
"He does. He'll be coming once they do." Lilith said.
"Agreed," Lucifer said before sighing.
"Lilith, Charlie misses you. As I do." He said, making his wife sigh.
"I know. I must you two too. I wish I could just hold Charlie again." She said, sadly.
Lucifer nodded before they both had to end their calls. Lucifer sighed as he knew his brother would never allow him and Lilith to reunite without causing a huge upset on Earth.
He headed upstairs, ready to talk to the Fentons about their portal and how the three could finally get some rest.
In Hell,
Lilith sighed before she saw another call. This time from her brother-in-law.
"Michael." She said, seeing him appearing.
"Lilith. What are you doing?" He asked.
"Checking on my daughter. I'm a mother, I have the right." She said.
Michael sighs. Whether he liked it or not, that girl was his niece. But he was calling for another reason.
"Lilith, I found a loophole." He said, shocking her.
"What?!" She said.
"It turns out that you're daughter's birthday is greatly ignored by heaven. Since you're a mother, you will be allowed to see her without causing any trouble." He said.
"Thank you, Michael." She said, feeling happy.
"However, you can't stay on Earth any longer than that. If you do, the deal will be off." He warned her.
"As long as you keep him off me," Lilith said, growling.
"He knows his place. Don't worry." Michael said, ending the call.
Lilith sighed before she felt something enter her throne room.
"What did I say about ears dropping, Alastor?" She said, making the Radio Demon step up.
"Just interested in your calls. I was just entering the room when you made it." He said.
Lilith sighs before facing the Radio Demon.
"Hell will soon find their way to Earth. Charlie has the apple." She told him, knowing he didn't care about it.
"Oh? I thought she was supposed to get it on her 18th birthday?" Alastor asked, a bit surprised.
"She found it earlier than we thought. She doesn't even know the full power it gave her." Lilith said.
"You wish to send me to Earth to help her learn her powers?" Alastor said, smiling.
"Yes. And she's not alone. She has two friends who have the powers of heaven and the dead. If you do anything to them, you know what will happen." She warned him.
"Very well. It will make things, very interesting." He said, disappearing into the shadows.
Lilith sighs. She knew that Alastor would never break a deal. Plus, she could finally see her daughter again. On her birthday no less. She looked at her calendar, seeing that Charlie's birthday was in a few weeks. And she couldn't wait to see her little princess again.
And stopping here. So, as you can all see, Charlie is still the daughter of Lucifer and Lilith. Only she was born fully human. And it turns out that Lucifer will be talking to the Fentons about leaving their portal open so much. Something I don't think was ever covered in the show. Plus, Jack did use it as a toy during the first season.
So, Lucifer and Lilith were forced apart, but Michael found a loophole. None of Heaven really pays attention to Charlie's birthday, meaning Lilith is free to leave Hell with no trouble. But she has to be back in Hell after that.
And Fanfiction finally added Emily's name to the character list. So, I replace the OC with her name in this and in Angel, Demon, and Ghost. So if any of you are using Emily in your Hazbin Hotel stories, you can finally add her name to them if you haven't done it already.
