Charlie awoke the next day, glad to learn that some ghosts had learned to stop attacking every day. She headed downstairs and kissed her father's cheek.
"Morning, Dad." She said, making him smile.
"Morning, my little apple." He said, watching her sit down.
She ate her breakfast as her father read the paper. Things went on okay before they heard a knock on their door.
"Did you invite your friends over?" Lucifer asked, confused.
"No, we agreed to meet up at school," Charlie said, also confused.
Charlie got up and went to answer it. When she opened the door, she was surprised to see a family that she didn't like.
"My, my, Charlotte, look at how pretty you have become." said the boy in front of her, making her groan.
"First off, it's Charlie. And Second, what are you doing here?" She said, looking at the man who was dressed like her father, only in a grey suit with green spots instead of apples.
"We wanted to visit you again. Bee told us how you have been doing." The man said as Lucifer walked up.
"Levi." He said, frowning.
"Luci." He said back.
Of the seven, Lucifer and Leviathan have been rivals for a long time. The two would try to put on shows to outdo each other. Lucifer always outdid him and was forced to hire him when Leviathan's circus went out of business.
And, for a time, their children dated. Before Charlie dumped the boy.
"I thought I told you to stay away from my family," Lucifer told him.
"Easy, my old rival. I came to inform you that we have decided to move here and wanted to let you know." Leviathan said.
"Dad, I need to get to school," Charlie said, making her father nod.
"Okay, Charlie. Here's your bag and your lunch." He said, handing the items to her.
Charlie kissed his cheek and walked past the family. However, she glared at the girl of the group, who glared back.
"Charlie." She said.
"Helsa," Charlie said, glaring.
Much like their father's before them, Charlie and Helsa had a rivalry between them. However, neither girl likes each other. And Charlie was glad that she had broken up with her brother. With that, she turned away, heading for school.
"School?" Leviathan's wife asked.
"Yes, I sent Charlie to school. She's a growing girl and has to learn as much as can before she takes over." Lucifer said, glaring at his rival.
"I see," Leviathan said, thinking.
"Father?" His son asked, noticing his look.
"Well, we let you know what going on and it was great catching up, Luci. I bid you a good day." Leviathan said, walking away.
Lucifer sighed. He needed to call his wife. He looks up to see his brother looking down at him, nodding. Lucifer nodded back, knowing that Michael was going to let this one slide.
Casper High,
Charlie looks around before seeing Danny and Emily. Seeing the sight of her two best friends made her forget about the visitors she had this morning and rushed up to them.
"Hey, Danny. Hey, Emily." She said, making the two turn to her.
"Hey, Charlie." Danny waves.
"Are you okay?" Emily asked, sensing something was off with her.
Charlie sighs, since they started training, Emily could sense their feelings a little. Mostly when they trying to hide something.
"One of my father's former hires showed up." She said.
"That one?! Augh!" Emily groans.
"Who?" Danny asked, confused.
"The Von Eldritch family," Charlie said
"Wait, the family that forms a rivalry with your family?" Danny asked, shocked.
"And I used to date Seviathan," Charlie said.
"The guy that turned out to be a huge jerk like Dash?" Danny said, remembering that story.
"Bigger," Charlie said, sighing.
Danny sighed. Though he never met the person before, Danny already knew that he hated him.
"What are they doing here?" Emily asked.
"Moving into town." Charlie sighs.
Danny and Emily frown, not believing it.
"Let me guess, they're going to send the brats to the school as well?" Emily asked, making Charlie groan.
"Well, don't worry, they won't have any control over us," Danny said, making Charlie smile.
"Thanks," She said, hugging them both.
They heard the bell ring and headed toward their classes.
Charlie's class,
Charlie was drawing up some plans for her hotel as the teacher graded the tests she gave them yesterday. There was a knock on the door, surprising her. The teacher got up and opened the door.
"Yes?" She asked.
"Hello, miss. Sorry for the interruption, but my daughter is supposed to be in your class. We were getting set up with everything."
Charlie's eyes widened when she heard that voice. Sure enough, she spotted Leviathan and Helsa.
'Oh, you got to be fucking kidding me!' Charlie shouted in her mind.
"Well, welcome, miss?" The teacher asked.
"Helsa Von Eldritch." She said, frowning.
"Miss Eldritch." The teacher said.
"Von Eldritch, if you please," Leviathan said.
"Of course! My apologies." The teacher said.
"It's fine, my dear. A lot of people make that mistake." Leavithan said before spotting Charlie.
"Ah, this is the school you go to, Charlie?" He said, making everyone look at her.
"You know Miss. Morningstar?" The teacher asked.
"Yes, her father and I go way back," Leviathan said, smiling.
"Father..." Helsa started before spotting his glare.
She looked away, not liking this.
"Well then, please take your seat over there, Miss. Von Eldritch." The teacher said, pointing to a desk behind Charlie.
Without even arguing, Helsa did what she was told, knowing her father would not have it.
"Thank you. I must be off then." He said, making the teacher nod.
"Thank you for bringing your daughter to class." The Teacher said, waving good back.
Charlie groans, looks like she needs to talk to her father again.
Lunchtime,
Charlie meets up with the others at their table and explains what happened.
"Great." Danny groans before explaining that he had a run-in with Sevianthan, Charlie's Ex.
"Did he try anything?" Emily asked.
"Other than look down at me, no," Danny said, shaking his head.
"Excuse me, you're in my seat."
Everyone looked to see Seviathan glaring at Danny, making him roll his eyes.
"Beat it, Seviathan. Danny is allowed to sit with us." Charlie said, glaring.
"So, this is the guy you dated?" Emily asked, already not liking him.
Charlie nods before Danny turns away.
"Look pal, if Charlie says she doesn't want you near her, then respect her wishes. It's never going to work between you two. Charlie is already dating someone else. And no, it's not me." Danny told him.
Seviathan growls, looking ready to try something, only for his sister to push him away.
"So, you're the Danny Fenton that hanging out with the Morningstars?" Helsa asked, confusing him.
"Yeah?" Danny said, wondering what was up with her.
"You know I could never understand why Seviathan would ever date Charlotte. But I got to admit, she knows how to pick some boys." She said, smiling.
"I'll have you know that Danny is my best friend, Helsa. He's been my friend for two years." Charlie said, knowing what she was trying to do.
"Really? And you're not dating him?" Helsa asked, unknowingly making Danny blush.
"No, but I still care about his feelings. I'm dating Vaggie." Charlie said.
"Who?" Seviathan asked.
"Me."
They all turned and saw Vaggie walking up, glaring at the two siblings. She knew who they were and wasn't about to let them try anything against Charlie, Emily, and Danny.
"You're dating this girl?! Come on, Charlotte. You can do better than that!" He said making both Charlie and Vaggie mad.
"I'll have you know that Vaggie doesn't go around and treat Charlie like she's some kind of object. Vaggie actually cares about Charlie's wants and needs. She doesn't force her into anything she doesn't want or try to make her into someone that you want her to be. If Vaggie makes Charlie happy, then that's all that matters." Danny said, defending both of them.
Vaggie was shocked to hear that. She was aware that Danny did have a crush on Charlie and Emily, but he approved of her dating Charlie because he cared about their happiness.
'What is with him? Why is he so different?' She asked herself, still lost on how kind and understanding he was.
Yeah, they spoke a few times, but she still couldn't get over how different he acts compare to the last guy she spent time around.
"Who ask you, Middle Class?" Seviathan said, growling.
"Now, now, Sev. Remember what dad said?" Helsa said, stopping him.
'What is she planning? There is no way she would ever defend someone like Danny.' Charlie thought, knowing something was up.
Seviathan growls before walking away. Helsa then turns and looks back at Danny.
"See you around, cutie." She said, winking at him.
Danny looked confused as Charlie nearly blew up.
"What was that about?" Danny asked, lost.
"Danny, whatever you do, turn down all advances from her!" Charlie shouted, shocking everyone.
"Wha?" Danny asked, even more lost.
"I know what that bitch is trying to do, and I'll be damned if she thinks she can get away with it!" Charlie growls, shocking everyone.
"Wow, babe. I've never seen you this mad before." Vaggie said.
"Trust me, I had to deal with her a lot when I was dating Seviathan. The worst mistake in my fucking life." Charlie groans.
"Wait, you mean, she was trying to flirt with me?" Danny asked, putting it together.
Charlie nodded, making Danny sigh.
"I have a feeling that my life is going to be surrounded by rich folks." He said, shaking his head.
"Well, I'm not rich," Vaggie told him.
"I know," Danny said.
Charlie knew she had to keep a close eye on Helsa. She didn't like what she was trying to do. And she'll be damned if Danny becomes a slave again.
You know I had completely forgotten I was writing this around the same time as 13. I was thinking about using one of the ideas you all sent me when I found this again. I wanted to save it for much later in the story, but since it's done, I decided to go ahead and post it.
So, we have the Von Eldritch Family showing up. I do know they have yet to have a speaking role in the shows, but I do know that there was a picture of the two families together and Charlie used to date Seviathan. It's the same thing here. Helsa seems to have something planned for Danny, and Charlie won't let it happen. And don't worry, Emily will help as well.
So, next chapter, I'm using one of the ideas you all sent me. And if I don't use it, then I'll see about using them for a future chapter.
