Hi!
As I have two short stories in my repertoir, I decided to post them both tonight. I hope you'll enjoy them!
I welcome reviews, and ideas for new chapters.

When the Great Harry Potter asked him something, Dobby was the happiest elf of them all. The Great Harry Potter was the one who freed him from bad masters, the first one to ever be nice to him. So, when he asked about a room, Dobby told him about the best room ever. The Great Harry Potter thanked him!
Dobby was so happy that he cut out a cardboard silhouette of the Great Harry Potter and painted it to put in his cupboard, next to the Spiderman figurine he had. When Dobby started to work at Hogwarts, he could have joined the other elves in their quarters (a low ceiling room with cushions as beds). Instead, he asked to have a cupboard under the stairs. The Great Harry Potter had lived in it for many, many years, so it was fitting that he'd do the same.
Dobby kept an eye on the Great Harry Potter. He saw that the pinky Umbridge was torturing him in, but the Great Harry Potter didn't ask for his help. Still, he took photographs, just in case. He had found a kindred spirit in Colin Creevey, and had taken a passion in photography. That over half of his pictures had the Great Harry Potter in them was a pity, really, he would have loved to make more. The best shots were displayed on his walls: the Great Harry Potter flying around a dragon, the Great Harry Potter facing a werewolf while two people were transforming in a dog and a rat, the Great Harry Potter smiling five different times, the Great Harry Potter battling Lord Voldemort in a cemetery…
Then, he saw the beautiful Hermione Granger help him start a study group. He took pictures in the Hogs Head. They weren't too good, because he couldn't use a flash otherwise they would have known that he was there. He didn't miss any of the signatures. He was there for every meeting. He took pictures, and pictures, and pictures of everything. The other elves didn't like him very much, but they didn't understand that taking pictures was a job! All of his money went to buy photographic film, and he eventually had to learn how to make some himself, because he wasn't paid enough.
One day, he heard the Great Harry Potter speaking to the dreamy Luna Lovegood. They were in the Three Broomstick, and there was a lot of people so Dobby had to stick himself to the ceiling to stay inconspicuous. He was telling her about the evil Lord Voldemort resurrection. Dobby wanted to cry when he heard him. It had been so hard to see it first hand, and to keep taking picture when the evil man tortured the Great Harry Potter. But he was a reporter, and the Great Harry Potter didn't ask him to help. He had promised him to not try to save his life. Dobby was an elf of his word, he kept his promise.
Maybe he could offer some pictures to the dreamy Luna Lovegood? She had always been nice to him, and she was the one who taught him how to paint the Great Harry Potter on his cardboard.
Three days later, when the Quibbler found its way to Hogwarts, Dobby was a proud elf. His photographs were all over the paper! The dreamy Luna Lovegood had been very interested in his pictures, and she had looked at them all, even the one that were not about that night in the cemetery. There was an article about that, of course, with lots and lots of pictures. Dobby had managed to immortalise all of the key moments, arriving just in time to take the ratty Peter Pettigrew killing the nice Cedric Diggory. On page thirteen, there was a recap of all the Death Eater, his former master friends, that came along. All of their faces, for everyone to see. Dobby loved this page, and the next ones, because they needed more than one to show them all.
Then, the second article talked about the doggy Sirius Black and the wolfy Remus Lupin and the ratty Peter Pettigrew who betrayed them. He really liked to see when the batty Severus Snape was bested by his students. The picture with all the dementors was at first a little bit shaky, Dobby had been affected too, and very beautiful once the silver stag run into the frame.
The third article showed the pinky Dolores Umbridge giving the Great Harry Potter a quill, smiling. Then, another picture was when Harry Potter started to write with it, and the words carved themselves in his hand. Dobby was very proud, you could see the clock on a corner. The third picture showed the end of one of the detentions: the Great Harry Potter's hand was bleeding, the time on the clock several hours later.
There was nothing else in the newspaper. Three articles written by the dreamy Luna Lovegood, who used a nom de plume for them. Three articles illustrated by many pictures, all taken by the same reporter: Free Pot. The dreamy Luna Lovegood had insisted that he chose a nom de plume too, and after a lot of thoughts he had settled on this one. He was a free elf, so it was important that it showed. He loved the Great Harry Potter, it was an homage to him too.
Yes, Dobby was the proudest of all elves.
Dobby loved the dreamy Luna Lovegood. The Ministry had insisted, demanded, ordered that she gave up her photo reporter's name, but she never relented. She had protected Dobby! The Great Harry had thanked him too. The doggy Sirius Black was freed, and he thanked him by giving him hundreds of Galleons, a big trunk where he could secure all of his pictures and a badge saying "Best elf ever!". The badge never left Dobby's chest. He bought a cameo uniform, because the best reporters were supposed to blend in their environment. Of course, Dobby could easily make himself invisible, but you never knew. The rest of the money, he kept in his brand-new trunk to buy better cameras and films.
He became an official employee of the Quibbler, who commissioned investigations. He had less time to photograph the Great Harry Potter now, so he taught Winky how to do it. She had bonded with the doggy Sirius Black, who was happy to hire an elf to keep an eye on the Great Harry Potter, one who wouldn't try to hurt him to save him. Dobby didn't understand why he said that, but Winky was happy to have a family again, so Dobby was happy too.
His pictures helped the Great Harry Potter, because more people believed him now, when he said that Lord Voldemort was back.
Yes, Dobby was proud and free and happy. All thanks to the Great Harry Potter and the Perfect Luna Lovegood.
