How a single act of a single person can determine those of an entire generation. What would have become of the fate of Severus Snape, of Hogwarts', of the entire Wizarding World's, if he had decided to make a simple timid gesture in a direction that no one suspected could have such consequences? No dessert

Thursday at breakfast, after giving him the all in order from the night before, Lily told Sev her talk with Padfoot verbatim, including her thoughts, except for the part where they talked about him being an Animagus, since Lauren and Deborah was also listening to them. He remembered the weights of all of them except Deborah's, from when he served them at the first party. Andrew and Paul weighed about the same, as did Remus, so he remembered his dose from when he made the chart for him at Christmas. Jack a little more and Anthony as Valerie, something more than him, so he also remembered those doses, from when he prepared the table for when they both had to protect themselves from the malefics.

He Summoned six dosers at once, his family already entering the Common Room. He calculated Jack's one-hour dose, while the others sat around him. (Deborah has already told them everything. It's five to one, I'll give them a few less drops each.)
