AN:
After hearing more than anything original song and then the one written by milkymelodies. Had me write my own version of the song for Elanye and Lucifer .
Only Boy of Silver:
Vast quietness of the mansion was different from the whistling of wind through wailing treetops and screech of a harpie. Hearing one's footsteps on the floor or echoing their voice. What made noticing Lucifer coming easy for Corbin during the first week with him. Exploring the vast structure alone with his aunt's tarantula as company. Always ending up in the library's magical section reading advanced spellbooks. One he chose today was more complex ones that were hand crafted over ones that came from a printing press. Gave him a chance to read Latin script and look over colorful pictures on the pages. So lost in what he read, that creaking of the door opening and someone entering.
"What are we reading today to expand your mind?" Lucifer asked him once upon joining him, "Combat magic … you understand this?"
"Yea," Corbin looked up, "I've always wanted to understand the use of magic in a fight. Since one has to make quick decisions while flight or fight reflex takes place."
"What a little brain on you," Lucifer liked what he heard, "I think I can help you in this."
Beside him, Lucifer would take seat after the book was put down and give Corbin a first hand experience. Creating self moving images modeled after his own memories of lessons with his fellow angels. Getting into the stories of how he also learned from mistakes or funny outcomes.
"Do you miss them?" Corbin asked about Lucifer's lack of angelic familial connection.
"Got what I need right here," He patted him on the head, "Eaten anything yet?"
"I think my aunt left a star pizza bread with her homemade dips and other meals," He recalled what she told him, "Help Zon out."
Elanye never understood how a Fallen Angel with damaged wings could work all alone in a giant building. Maintaining the property alone with nobody home didn't agree with her. To lessen the burden of the work for him before she left that morning like routine. She made smaller dishes in the fridge and a snack until her return after afternoon.
"Want to take a break and eat?" Lucifer suggested.
Corbin bookmarked his place and down went the book as he reached out for his Aunt's tarantula. Who came with them on Corbin's shoulders throughout their long walk to the kitchen. When Lucifer pointed his most treasured memories with Charlie to Corbin. Had them stopping at a dust covered to portrait him, Lilith, and teen age Charlie.
"Equinox Winds." Corbin cast a simple elemental charm to gather the dust up without harming or chipping the paint. Layer after layer from neglect was removed when a swirling orb danced across the surface. Revealing smiling faces that had seen the light of day for some time.
That went out a window that Zon ended up opening when he was in the middle of airing hallway out. Greeting them with a slight bow towards them while impressed with Corbin. That scared Lucifer since he stepped out of the shadows without making a noise.
"Out for a stroll?" Zon replied, closing the window, "Miss. Bloodmarch thought you would end up living in the library."
"There's a lot of interesting books to read." Corbin huffed.
"All yours after we eat," Lucifer saw young Charlie in Corbin, "You want to join us?"
"I am due for a break." Zon was honored.
This was where Zon asked Corbin what he wanted to learn from those books. List of magical knowledge spread through many fields that excited Lucifer. He didn't have a major interest in just one magical subject from what the two summed up. Which gave one of them a plan to help narrow down Corbin's choices.
"Have you met other sins?" Lucifer remembered what Elanye said once, "Aince they really liked hearing about your brother."
"I do hope they are nothing like Satan." Corbin whispered.
"Do share." Zon and Lucifer encouraged him.
Speaking about a handful of times he laid eyes on the sin of wrath when beside grandfather. Publicly being allowed to attend monthly wrath ring council meetings over civil manners. Sometimes when they visited town to pick up supplies from across the way.

Elanye combed her fingers through Corbin's hair when she found him asleep in one of the abandoned rooms. He had laid down on a Versailles Sofa with Brown Velvet pillows. His chained lava stone came loose from his wrist and dangled from the edge. Gloves were discarded on the nearby side table where his reading material sat. A single window had been opened by him to allow light from outside in. Created a peaceful scene that she found when she went exploring around the mansion.
"Out like a light?" Lucifer spoke from the door frame.
"He's so peaceful." She whispered.
"I can get Zon to take him back to his room." Lucifer offered.
"Fine and when was this room last used?" She asked.
White sheets and closed curtains had Lucifer joining her with no a clear answer for her. His depressive states made getting out of bed hard for weeks on end. End up being silenced by those brightly glowing eyes watching him. Curiosity and warmth of her kindness was one of many parts reflected in him. Had him reach out toward her by dissolving his glove to offer her a bare hand.
"I can recall," He thought to ask, "How about redecorate?"
"Asking me to move in?" She replied, reaching for his hand.
"You've already been over at the hotel and seen the worst of me." He shrugged.
"I have a few ideas," She allowed him to weave their fingers together, "Starting with a tour for me to create a starting point."
Each word he was willing to listen to when he drew her close for their foreheads to touch. Him wrapping his tail around her waist as she hooks an arm around his neck. He drew one of his hands to the side of her face like he had many times before.
"Up to christening a few rooms?" He whispered.
"You're terrible." She pointed out Corbin.
That goofy grin appeared on his face at her statement when he reangled his face. Bringing his lips within inches of her own as his tail unwound from her waist. Deciding to sneak up the tip up the hem of her mini length skirt.
"You know," Lucifer said between touching her lips, "You like it."
"What I love about you." She proudly stated.
"You love me?" He pulled back from her in shock.
"Absolutely. Did I miss something?" She proudly answers, "Alongside your supportive and caring nature towards your daughter, musical talent, humor and performative insanity, endearing lovable goofball in a tophat."
His lips trembled when into the air he lifted her with both his arms supporting her lower hip and small of her back. Caught her off guard and hostled into the air to be spun around by him. Quickly adjusting her hold on him so they toppled over onto the ground under their feet.
"She loves me," He loudly announced, "She loves me."
"Luci!" She laughed, "I am going to get dizzy."
"I don't care," He laughed with her, "It's right now I care about."
He ended up not seeing where he traveled in the room when they crashed and landed onto a large chair. Plush cushioning was enough padding for the two to softly come to end. No loud sounds were made to wake Corbin in an alarming manner, when side by side they say. His arms re- wrapping around her as his tail flails about. One of hers went around his neck as the other rested comfortably on his thigh.
"Give me a minute." She needed a moment.
"Take as long as you want," He watched her set her head down, "I am going to need a minute."
He was quite heated in an aroused state brought up by images she had conveyed through their held hands. Private moments from her memories of him just flooded his mental space. Ones from when he went through a spectrum of emotions when she was in her company. His smiles and frowns mixed when he was still droopy from lack of sleep. Scrambled with images of when he was interacting with his daughter and Vaggie. Just grew in number till he returned with thousands of his own about her. Started with the first time he first met her on the barstool the way she was just now with Corbin. She made sure the sleeping teen was not disturbed after finding them.
"Forgive me … since Lilith was the only other woman I ever said this toward," He whispered only loud enough for her to hear, "I also love you."
Elanye (spoken):

Lucifer ended up gifting Elanye with the newly restored form of her spider brooch in an apple shaped jewelry box. Which made her since that was her personal touch for personal deliveries. In turn she replaced his red apple top on his walking stick with a spherical purple one. Pearl sheen was from finely ground purple pearls formed from her tears.
"I made sure an impression of an apple was on both sides ," She showed off the new walking stick handle, "Thought you would like the change."
"Shiny," He liked to turn his walking stick around in the light, "Remind me to thank your brother."
"You guys done?" Corbin asked, rather annoyed, "I swore, I will scream."
Having to put up this level mush from his aunt and Lucifer was making him wish he was asleep. Not like when he woke up to them cuddling a few feet away that day was romantic. He just felt like the third wheel then and now when he reached toward his shoulders. Coiled half away on his shoulders a fully mature European adder was found. Accepted warmth of a finger from his newly bonded partner of late.
"Then why don't work on thanking your ideas for your mother," Lucifer brought up how Heather sent the snake to Corbin, "Really nice of her to help you in finding a familiar."
"Strong maternal instincts come from our mermaid ancestor," Elanye pointed out, "So get ready, I may come off serious."
"This mean I am screwed?" Corbin asked.
"Since time is a little different here than on an earthly plane," Lucifer didn't care about Elanye's parenting style, "I can't wait."
"I am not your practice kid." Corbin corrected them.
Zon silenced Corbin when he ended up placing boba style tea made from dried dragon fruit tea, milk, water, sugar and tapioca pearls. Laying a straw next to the glass before setting a tea set down before Elanye and Lucifer.
"Look forward to the adventures," Zon advised Corbin, "Shouldn't be the journey."
"Smart." Elanye and Lucifer liked the sound of Zon's advice.
"I try," Zon placed a plate of cookies down for them, "Are you all done?"
